• ACEPHALIX | st | 7″

    6.00 incl. tax
A brutal combination of low end metallic distortion, pummeling riffs and gnarled vocals, San Francisco's ACEPHALIX's debut 4- song 7" takes influence from all over the map of extreme music - from CELTIC FROST to CRO-MAGS and INTEGRITY, from WOLFPACK and later ANTI-CIMEX to SACRILEDGE and AXEGRINDER, but has hammered out and forged its own sound by relentless gigs around the SF Bay Area over the past year. Featuring current and former members of THE RIFFS, DEPRESSOR, POISON IDEA, DEFIANCE, DEATHCHARGE and BLOWN TO BITS, this is the heaviest thing Prank has released in almost fifty releases, a modern attack; yet reminiscent of early classic Prank releases by DAMAD, ELDOPA 1332 and the bleak punk metal fusions of the late 90's and early 00's. (Prank Records)
  • The follow up to 2018's debut album "First Demons" with two long crushing and roaring old school psychedelic metal-CRUST anthems from outta space. A heavy weight AMEBIX meets HELLHAMMER with KILLING JOKE in company and those comparisons are for real and not just some soulless marketing stunt. AKRASIA rule a crossover reality painted with the colors of decadence, cosmic horror, post-apocalyptic and sci-fi pantheons as well as a strong anti-religious and anti-authoritarian life approach. This is Space Anarchy Propagation ... ... This Is The Sound Of The World Nearly Ending! Recorded at Endless Tinnitus Studio, Oslo. Mastered 2019 by Jack Control at Enormous Door Mastering. • This is the long awaited repress of the out of print 7" originally released on S.U.R. Records. These 2 songs from NY's All Out War were originally intended for an Astor Records NYHC compilation that never saw the light of day. All Out War is a punishing display of the aggression of hardcore crossed with the brutality of metal while avoiding the shortcomings of both genres. To get a taste of All Out War's musical style, envision Carcass colliding head on with "Age of Quarrel" era Cro- Mags. Two styles as different as they come but All Out War combines the two to form an attack unmatched by today's standards. (Trip Machine Laboratories)
  • ANGST | st | 7″

    4.00 incl. tax
Hardcore Punk from Oslo, Norway. Their first EP from 1992. (Heartfirst Records)
  • Just as on "The Blind" LP, there's not much black metal, it's just crust (but it's good crust!) As for Dysmorfofobia, they're playing rather strange music of sludge/industrial kind (slightly simular to Godflesh). (Trujaca Fala Records)
  • ARCHAIC | noise in your head | 7″

    5.00 4.00 incl. tax
ARCHAIC is a new project based between Berlin, Venice and Barcelona. This  debut three track EP is a rusted nail of intense hardcore with industrial undertones which sits somewhere between FOGNA and DESTINO FINAL but with a bigger production. Guitar layers of repetition create a bed of noise when the delay infected vocals lay painfully. Someone called it the NWOIH and I won't be the one saying that isn't the case. (La Vida Es Un Mus Records) https://lavidaesunmus.bandcamp.com/album/noise-in-your-head-ep
  • ARMS RACE unleash their debut album after a well-received 6-track demo in 2013 and a 6-track 7" EP in 2014 on Quality Control HQ and Painkiller. Arms Race arrived on the scene fully formed with their powerful and gnarly UK-meets-USA hardcore: their signature sound of a vocalist chewing on glass is backed by one of the most solid rhythm sections in HC these days, and the guitar work adds a metallic element making the whole sound gigantic while keeping the ugliness and aggression to the max. NWOBHC is a statement of no-frills hardcore that is not scared to reach out to different corners of the punk and metal world. (La Vida Es Un Mus Records) https://lavidaesunmus.bandcamp.com/album/new-wave-of-british-hardcore-lp
  • ARMS RACE follow up to their “New Wave Of British Hardcore” LP with four new tracks, which sees the band solidify their place as one of the strongest pillars of UK hardcore. Touring Europe and Japan since the release of the LP, these 4 new tracks are yet more proof of why the band leaves a trail of fans whenever they play. “The Beast” displays a ferocious hardcore attack with both boots firmly stuck on the hardcore and punk territories while looking forward to new soundscapes on which they evolve, such as on track 'Distort Britannia' that showcases a slowed down atmospheric stomper. Part classic USA Hardcore, part Bristol and Stoke On Trent punk, these new tracks are a perfect continuation of what the band has created during these last 5 years. The Beast comes housed in a pocket sleeve with artwork by bass player and LVEUM shitworker Nicky Rat and includes a lyric insert and download code. 5.00 4.00 incl. tax
Hamilton, Ontario’s BORN WRONG return with their most raw and driving 7″ to date, unleashing four dynamic punk/HC tracks that truly capture their unhinged live assault. Expect the same cohesive, slightly deformed, song structures with even more chaotic vocals. Pounding piss-blood drums and tone heavy guitars. Each Art District 7″ comes packaged in a hand silk screened obi. (Schizophrenic Records) https://bornwrong.bandcamp.com/album/art-district
  • BORN WRONG | holding cell | 7″

    5.00 4.00 incl. tax
Holding Cell, a frantic follow up to their debut S/T 7″, again harnesses the band’s untameable live show. This steamroller never loses momentum as they charge through five angry and honest mid-tempo rippers. BORN WRONG proves hardcore doesn’t have to be blown out and drowning in feedback to be aggressive. A smart, progressive, and agitating follow up release. (Schizophrenic Records) https://bornwrong.bandcamp.com/album/holding-cell
  • "Distort New York" is the debut 7" by BRAIN SLUG. This one will get you 5 nasty slaps in the face taking influence from Boston classics like SS DECONTROL or newer bands like OMEGAS. (Hardware Records) https://hardwarerecords.bandcamp.com/album/brain-slug-distort-new-york-7

  • Chain Cult from Athens, Greece return with a new two track 7" after releasing their much loved demo on vinyl just a few months ago. On Isolated, Chain Cult have upped the intensity and dark atmospherics. The sound is bigger, focused and anthemic. The guitar work is haunting and flanged and the rhythm section locked in, keeping the energy high. It sits somewhere between Vex's Sanctuary 12", a more uptempo Killing Joke and Warsaw while remaining a band of their time. Isolated comes housed in a pocket sleeve designed by the bands signature designer A.D. Visions which also created the lyric insert. (La Vida Es Un Mus Records) https://chaincult.bandcamp.com/track/noise-regret
  • Greek old school thrash metallers Crucifier vs. brazilian Hate Your Fate, playing conventional crossover/thrash, capably executed. (Floga Records)
  • Hailing from the dark and dreary town of Portland, OR, Cutting Through plays late-'80s inspired straight edge hardcore, taking influence from Bold, Youth of Today and Norwegian favorites Sportswear. Featuring members who played in bands GET THE MOST, UNRESTRAINED, FIRED UP and SAFE AND SOUND. This vinyl reissue of their demo-tape is one-time pressing limited to 535 copies and it's coming out as a co-release between Refuse Records and Can't Keep Us Down Records. (Refuse Records)

Their first tape last year was unbelievably gnarly, and on "Inhabit The Corpse", these ghouls have truly broken loose from the restraints of mortal frailty and are unleashing a thrashing, chorus drenched wickedness unheard by the likes of any puny human. Thine ears cannot possibly be prepared for their unholy onslaught, yet it is here and there is nothing you or anyone else on earth can do to stop it. Is there really a good reason to not surrender your soul over to absolute turpitude made manifest through what can best be described as the amalgam of Japanese black metal/punk rippers SEX MESSIAH and the (secretly Finnish) hardcore punk steamroller of a project SYUDAN JISATSU, or in other words: absolute shredding annihilation from beyond the veil? Many bands may try to unleash the darkness and have their invocations met with silence - or maybe a whisper if they’re lucky - as they fizzle out; but when DEVIL MASTER calls, death comes fucking ripping (and we should expect nothing less from villains who also have given us horrific creations as members of CAPE OV BATS, BLANK SPELL, INTEGRITY, and THE DRIP to name a few). In just four tracks, Devil Master shatters your nerves, breaks your will, and drags your limp and drained vessel back into the world, leaving you all alone with nothing but reflection of what has come to pass as you sputter and sob, waiting for the end. This is an experience which is not to be missed. (Erste Theke Tontraeger) https://erstetheketontraeger.bandcamp.com/album/ett-055-devil-master-s-t-ep
  • The Band you've been looking for for a long time, with sounds of dissimilar genres that don't usually cross combined, is out when you least expect it to be. This fully fledged outfit of sheer old-school twisted intensity is a must-listen, no sweat! Devil Master with their four tracks of devilish hardcore punk in the vein of GAI or LSD packed in a deathrock vibe. The Japanese hardcore influence is prevalent but there is so much more! That is punk, metal and goth inspired hardcore punk with demonic vocals and hard as nail beats which is extremely hard to shake once you hear it. The torturous maelstrom sounds of bone breaks and thuggish isolationism. Howling feedback underscores the massive swirling riffs and relentless battery of drums. Foul, tumultuous vocals made entirely of the final exhalations of humanity really send this opus to the apex. A perfect band. The four distorted tracks on this EP mix perfectly the low end reverb soaked deathrock influences with the best of the International Hardcore Punk of the early 80's. Making it a masterpiece of timeless punk. This EP is a perfectly wild and superbly crafted sheet of brutal noise with a pounding goth backbone all jacked up on blackened metal freakout space jams. And you know that Satan smiled when he heard this! (Erste Theke Tontraeger) https://erstetheketontraeger.bandcamp.com/album/ett-055-devil-master-s-t-ep
  • Red Vinyl. Though it's been over two years since we recorded our last record, Devour's new 7" picks up right where our S/T LP left off. 5 songs that synthesize our love of classic Japanese hardcore (Death Side, Judgement, etc.) and 80s metallic PUNK (COC, early Neurosis, Final Conflict). Fast, heavy, hard-hitting, intricate... obviously I'm biased since I'm in the band but I think this is a pretty f***ing killer record. (Headcount Records)

    DICKS | peace? | 7”

    7.50 incl. tax
One of the few hardcore bands from the early '80s to feature an outspoken and openly gay frontman -- in Texas, no less -- the Dicks, alongside the Big Boys, were the national scene's voice from the Lone Star state. Formed in Austin in 1980, the Dicks released their first and most famous single; Hate the Police, shortly thereafter. This is their second (and arguably) better single from 1984. (Alternative Tentacles Records)
