• Chain Cult from Athens, Greece return with a new two track 7" after releasing their much loved demo on vinyl just a few months ago. On Isolated, Chain Cult have upped the intensity and dark atmospherics. The sound is bigger, focused and anthemic. The guitar work is haunting and flanged and the rhythm section locked in, keeping the energy high. It sits somewhere between Vex's Sanctuary 12", a more uptempo Killing Joke and Warsaw while remaining a band of their time. Isolated comes housed in a pocket sleeve designed by the bands signature designer A.D. Visions which also created the lyric insert. • After last year’s haunting demo, London’s EFIALTIS get the vinyl treatment with a fresh EP on Static Shock Records. Featuring three primitive stompers from their tape plus a riveting new one, EFIALTIS crash through the ruins of reality like an angry goddess in search of retribution. Four feral tracks of stripped down, high-energy, mid-tempo Punk, with despotic vocals and ominous Greek lyrics. The sharp guitar and buzzing bass wade through combative drumming, all tough as nails and perfectly enhancing the nightmarish unease underlying their sound. Ten minutes of ’80s-inspired, rudimentary jaggedness, complete with catchy songwriting, tight delivery and a production that’s appropriately massive and the right amount of shambolic. Featuring members of GOOD THROB, SARCASM, DREGS, BODY BUTTER and more. A skull-crashing must-have for the coming apocalypse. (Lydia Athanasopoulou) (Static Shock Records) https://staticshockrecords.bandcamp.com/album/efialtis
  • Recorded at the same session that their debut EP on Static Shock Records and comprising one new track and two songs from their debut demo EFIALTIS second vinyl offering sees the band delivering a punch in the face of male musical normality. EFIALTIS, an all female London based trio with heavy Greek/ Cypriot/ Welsh roots, brings what feels like the most menacing, stomping feral punk recorded in the last few years. Their sound is militant and obviously punk based. Their songs are simple, anthemic and mechanical. Their beat is perfect marching punk and in my dreams I see a bill with CRISIS, STRESS(GR) and CONTROPOTERE where after the last note church, state and any form of oppression is overtaken. Recorded at NO Studios by the almighty John Hannon and with artwork by the band including a duotone lyric insert. (La Vida Es Un Mus) https://lavidaesunmus.bandcamp.com/album/7

  • TOZIBABE | dezuje | 7”

    10.00 incl. tax
Black vinyl limited to 150 copies + big 24-page booklet with interviews, reviews, photos, etc. TOŽIBABE was one of  the best thing that could happen to the HC/punk scene in the eighties. They were not only the first HC girl band in ex-Yu and one on the few in the world, but they were also a really good gang with something to say and had fun doing it. This can be seen in their low-budget music videos which in some of the freshest and best played in ex-Yu during that period. They were probably seen as pretty weird by a lot of folks when they started out but grew to be both loved and appreciated. Their only EP is called "Dežuje" and was released in 1986. With it's somewhat simply musical style, dark tones and introverted lyrics it stands strong even today. After nearly 30 years NE! Records in collaboration with FV Records, who released the original EP, are releasing a this pearl once again. This time a little bit more exclusive and with a 24-page booklet. Limited ptessing of 600 copies on black vinyl. This release is very deluxe and took a real labour of love!!! (NE! Records)
  • (Shipping: September) Tokyo powerhouse KRIEGSHÖG returns with a two track 7” of distorted hardcore punk perfection. Facing a line up change the band sound was altered slightly after the previous guitarist quit. The new line up may have taken the guitar fuzziness a notch down in favour of a crunchier guitar tone but amped up the songwriting to the next level with a overdose of riffs, attacking each note with the same ferocious venom they have us accustomed to. These two tracks display both sides of KRIEGSHÖG perfectly, a mid tempo bass driven 4 minute banger backed up by a classic destructive sonic jam with the gnarliest punk vocals out there. Quoting the band “Play Loud and DIE!!!” The high contrast black and white of their aesthetic and sound takes a new turn making room for a conceptual record. Housed in a heavy duty PVC pocket sleeve with artwork silkscreened on it the clear vinyl record with pure black and white labels. • "Fight back" contains 5 song blast of pure anger and energy - DISCHARGE at their finest here. Pure beat raw hardcore-punk against which all the successors can be measured. This hard driving music is the perfect vehicle for the outrage at war and oppression conveyed by the harsh lyrics and graphics. (Havoc Records)
  • Finally, a legitimate reissue of this hardcore classic is now available on vinyl. Deep Wound were one of a handful of great punk bands in the early 80’s from the outer regions of Massachusetts. The four-piece recorded their one and only single with Lou Giordano and Frank Michaels (Proletariat) and released it on the Radiobeat label in 1983. The record is snotty teenage punk rock but played at lightning speed with totally manic singing. Drummer J Mascis and guitarist Lou Barlow went on to further greatness by forming the seminal indie rock band Dinosaur Jr., and bassist Scott Helland played in the Outpatients until their breakup in 1995. Final repress on clear vinyl! NYC hardcore punks WARTHOG return with what could possibly be their best recorded output yet. It’s been a couple years since their EP’s on Katorga Works and Iron Lung Records were unleashed upon us all and in that time the members of the Hog have perfected their particular formula and have finally delivered four more tracks of pounding hardcore savagery that stands out ten fold from most of the bullshit that fans of the genre are bombarded with on a regular basis. Are you a functioning human in a functioning world? Each record comes in a glue pocket sleeve along with a two colour risograph printed insert. Their first tape last year was unbelievably gnarly, and on "Inhabit The Corpse", these ghouls have truly broken loose from the restraints of mortal frailty and are unleashing a thrashing, chorus drenched wickedness unheard by the likes of any puny human. Thine ears cannot possibly be prepared for their unholy onslaught, yet it is here and there is nothing you or anyone else on earth can do to stop it. Is there really a good reason to not surrender your soul over to absolute turpitude made manifest through what can best be described as the amalgam of Japanese black metal/punk rippers SEX MESSIAH and the (secretly Finnish) hardcore punk steamroller of a project SYUDAN JISATSU, or in other words: absolute shredding annihilation from beyond the veil? Many bands may try to unleash the darkness and have their invocations met with silence - or maybe a whisper if they’re lucky - as they fizzle out; but when DEVIL MASTER calls, death comes fucking ripping (and we should expect nothing less from villains who also have given us horrific creations as members of CAPE OV BATS, BLANK SPELL, INTEGRITY, and THE DRIP to name a few). In just four tracks, Devil Master shatters your nerves, breaks your will, and drags your limp and drained vessel back into the world, leaving you all alone with nothing but reflection of what has come to pass as you sputter and sob, waiting for the end. This is an experience which is not to be missed. (Erste Theke Tontraeger) https://erstetheketontraeger.bandcamp.com/album/ett-055-devil-master-s-t-ep

The Band you've been looking for for a long time, with sounds of dissimilar genres that don't usually cross combined, is out when you least expect it to be. This fully fledged outfit of sheer old-school twisted intensity is a must-listen, no sweat! Devil Master with their four tracks of devilish hardcore punk in the vein of GAI or LSD packed in a deathrock vibe. The Japanese hardcore influence is prevalent but there is so much more! That is punk, metal and goth inspired hardcore punk with demonic vocals and hard as nail beats which is extremely hard to shake once you hear it. The torturous maelstrom sounds of bone breaks and thuggish isolationism. Howling feedback underscores the massive swirling riffs and relentless battery of drums. Foul, tumultuous vocals made entirely of the final exhalations of humanity really send this opus to the apex. A perfect band. The four distorted tracks on this EP mix perfectly the low end reverb soaked deathrock influences with the best of the International Hardcore Punk of the early 80's. Making it a masterpiece of timeless punk. This EP is a perfectly wild and superbly crafted sheet of brutal noise with a pounding goth backbone all jacked up on blackened metal freakout space jams. And you know that Satan smiled when he heard this! (Erste Theke Tontraeger) https://erstetheketontraeger.bandcamp.com/album/ett-055-devil-master-s-t-ep

Black Vinyl! Split release with japanese label Break The Records! Officical re-release of the devastating debut EP from now-veteran Kyoto thrashers Warhead! Amazing Japanese hardcore from 1991. I think this is one of the best Japanese hardcore EPs out there... a classic! Originally self-released by the band and then later reissued by Devour (Japan) and Amok Records (Germany). Highest recommendations! (Farewell Records/Break The Records)

DREGS: the least valuable part of anything. Hardcore Punk in it’s essence. By outcasts for outcasts. Fast riffs, angry mosh parts and messages aimed to empower the ones that should run the scene. • *LIMITED EDITION OF 500 COPIES ONLY! The story of northern English band Blitz follows something of an unusual trajectory. Formed in the small industrial town of New Mills in Derbyshire (once known for coal mines, cotton mills and calico bleaching), Blitz began as a hardcore concern, their first two albums considered classics of the ‘street punk’ and Oi subgenres of the early 1980s, but third album Second Empire Justice shifted their sound in a totally unexpected post-punk/new wave direction, with intricate arrangements, greater musical complexity and a generally softer style. Unfortunately for the group, the album was a commercial failure that spelled their ultimate demise, yet just as the band bit the dust, bassist Neil McLennan and guitarist Nidge Miller formed Rose of Victory with drummer Gary Bowler and engineer Nigel Beverley on vocals, cutting a one-off version of Bowie’s “Suffragette City,” coupled with an equally intriguing Miller instrumental on the flip. Rose of Victory never lasted beyond this initial offering, however, leaving the single a unique memento of their faltering creativity. (Radiation Records)
  • Split EP of legendary Texas political Hardcore Punk legends MDC and Swedish antifascist sXe HC maniacs Iron. 2 songs each band including an updated version of an old MDC classic, now as “No Trump, No KKK, no fascist USA”, which is known worldwide as a famous slogan on the US-american anti-Trump protests meanwhile. • 2nd pressing with golden sleeves (the first was all silver). A treasure of Japanese Hardcore/Punk finally seeing the light on vinyl in a deluxe version authorized by the band and all mastered in a process of years under supervision of the singer Zazie. This collection includes the cult "St. Requiem" tape-album (1984) and a bonus EP with the "ADK Omnibus" tracks (1983) cut at 45rpm for the best sounding sonic impact. 25 songs in total. "St. Requiem" stands with no doubt as one of the best Japanese Hardcore tapes released in the '80s, it combines rapid fast Hardcore bursts with some dark, claustrophobic atmospheres that were characterizing the sound of several bands released by the legendary ADK Records label. And talking of the pioneering status of this great band (that moved to a different musical direction in the years to follow), the singer Zazie was part of a very early stage of the GAUZE line-up in the passage from Typhus to Gauze in fall 1981. Housed in a gold laminated gatefold sleeve with a fanzine styled booklet full of rare flyers, photos and original artworks. (F.O.A.D. Records)
