• ACEPHALIX | st | 7″

    6.00 incl. tax
A brutal combination of low end metallic distortion, pummeling riffs and gnarled vocals, San Francisco's ACEPHALIX's debut 4- song 7" takes influence from all over the map of extreme music - from CELTIC FROST to CRO-MAGS and INTEGRITY, from WOLFPACK and later ANTI-CIMEX to SACRILEDGE and AXEGRINDER, but has hammered out and forged its own sound by relentless gigs around the SF Bay Area over the past year. Featuring current and former members of THE RIFFS, DEPRESSOR, POISON IDEA, DEFIANCE, DEATHCHARGE and BLOWN TO BITS, this is the heaviest thing Prank has released in almost fifty releases, a modern attack; yet reminiscent of early classic Prank releases by DAMAD, ELDOPA 1332 and the bleak punk metal fusions of the late 90's and early 00's. (Prank Records)
  • The follow up to 2018's debut album "First Demons" with two long crushing and roaring old school psychedelic metal-CRUST anthems from outta space. A heavy weight AMEBIX meets HELLHAMMER with KILLING JOKE in company and those comparisons are for real and not just some soulless marketing stunt. AKRASIA rule a crossover reality painted with the colors of decadence, cosmic horror, post-apocalyptic and sci-fi pantheons as well as a strong anti-religious and anti-authoritarian life approach. This is Space Anarchy Propagation ... ... This Is The Sound Of The World Nearly Ending! Recorded at Endless Tinnitus Studio, Oslo. Mastered 2019 by Jack Control at Enormous Door Mastering. • This is the long awaited repress of the out of print 7" originally released on S.U.R. Records. These 2 songs from NY's All Out War were originally intended for an Astor Records NYHC compilation that never saw the light of day. All Out War is a punishing display of the aggression of hardcore crossed with the brutality of metal while avoiding the shortcomings of both genres. To get a taste of All Out War's musical style, envision Carcass colliding head on with "Age of Quarrel" era Cro- Mags. Two styles as different as they come but All Out War combines the two to form an attack unmatched by today's standards. (Trip Machine Laboratories)
  • Pretty polished melodic Crust from Sweden's Ambulance. Killer production and very nice packaging. (Wasted Sound Records)
  • ANGST | st | 7″

    4.00 incl. tax
Hardcore Punk from Oslo, Norway. Their first EP from 1992. (Heartfirst Records)
  • Just as on "The Blind" LP, there's not much black metal, it's just crust (but it's good crust!) As for Dysmorfofobia, they're playing rather strange music of sludge/industrial kind (slightly simular to Godflesh). (Trujaca Fala Records)
  • ARCHAIC | noise in your head | 7″

    5.00 4.00 incl. tax
ARCHAIC is a new project based between Berlin, Venice and Barcelona. This  debut three track EP is a rusted nail of intense hardcore with industrial undertones which sits somewhere between FOGNA and DESTINO FINAL but with a bigger production. Guitar layers of repetition create a bed of noise when the delay infected vocals lay painfully. Someone called it the NWOIH and I won't be the one saying that isn't the case. (La Vida Es Un Mus Records) https://lavidaesunmus.bandcamp.com/album/noise-in-your-head-ep
  • ARMS RACE follow up to their “New Wave Of British Hardcore” LP with four new tracks, which sees the band solidify their place as one of the strongest pillars of UK hardcore. Touring Europe and Japan since the release of the LP, these 4 new tracks are yet more proof of why the band leaves a trail of fans whenever they play. “The Beast” displays a ferocious hardcore attack with both boots firmly stuck on the hardcore and punk territories while looking forward to new soundscapes on which they evolve, such as on track 'Distort Britannia' that showcases a slowed down atmospheric stomper. Part classic USA Hardcore, part Bristol and Stoke On Trent punk, these new tracks are a perfect continuation of what the band has created during these last 5 years. The Beast comes housed in a pocket sleeve with artwork by bass player and LVEUM shitworker Nicky Rat and includes a lyric insert and download code. • BORN WRONG | holding cell | 7″

    5.00 4.00 incl. tax
Holding Cell, a frantic follow up to their debut S/T 7″, again harnesses the band’s untameable live show. This steamroller never loses momentum as they charge through five angry and honest mid-tempo rippers. BORN WRONG proves hardcore doesn’t have to be blown out and drowning in feedback to be aggressive. A smart, progressive, and agitating follow up release. • BRAIN KILLER | 2nd | 7″

    5.00 incl. tax
Picking up where 2011’s "every actual state is corrupt" left off, this is the new 7" of hardcore music from Boston’s BRAIN KILLER. Mixing CRUCIFIX, DEATHREAT, and driving Japanese hardcore. BRAIN KILLER have made their most powerful and mature release yet. Really it just sounds like a hardcore DISCHARGE, but what else would you want? The best song writing - distilling riffs into simpleness with no filler! (Vinyl Rites Records)
  • Debut 7” from Massachussetts hardcore band – BRAIN KILLER. Fast, noisy, powerful hardcore with heavy influence from Japanese hardcore like BASTARD / DISCLOSE and straight forward American hardcore like DEATHREAT. (Deranged Records)
  • "Distort New York" is the debut 7" by BRAIN SLUG. This one will get you 5 nasty slaps in the face taking influence from Boston classics like SS DECONTROL or newer bands like OMEGAS. (Hardware Records) https://hardwarerecords.bandcamp.com/album/brain-slug-distort-new-york-7
  • Burning Love are an unapologetic punk band from Toronto, fronted by vocalist/lyricist Chris Colohan (Cursed, Left For Dead, Ruination, etc). Burning Love's approach is more nuanced than his previous bands. Mixing raw melody and swagger (akin to Laughing Hyenas, Poison Idea, etc) into their hardcore blood. Since 2007, Burning Love have released a number of records on labels like Deranged, High Anxiety, and Southern Lord. "Down So Long" b/w "Medicine Man" is a two song banger of an EP, recorded by Josh Korody at Candle in Toronto (Fucked Up, etc). Opener "Down So Long" emerges from ghostly feedback with an unrelenting punk romp. Lyrically addressing the social chaos of our world askew, despite the illusion of military and political order. While the infectious "Medicine Man" addresses fashionable drug addiction in the punk world, despite the trail of havoc that it cuts through the most wounded of world populations. Chain Cult from Athens, Greece return with a new two track 7" after releasing their much loved demo on vinyl just a few months ago. On Isolated, Chain Cult have upped the intensity and dark atmospherics. The sound is bigger, focused and anthemic. The guitar work is haunting and flanged and the rhythm section locked in, keeping the energy high. It sits somewhere between Vex's Sanctuary 12", a more uptempo Killing Joke and Warsaw while remaining a band of their time. Isolated comes housed in a pocket sleeve designed by the bands signature designer A.D. Visions which also created the lyric insert.
