• 108 | 18.61 | LP/Color

    20.00 incl. tax
Recorded over a frigid weekend in Boston, MA in the analog domain of Alex Garcia Rivera (Give Up The Ghost) and later mixed by Kurt Ballou (Converge). From the first tension filled notes struck in "God Talk", it's apparent that a spiritual restlessness and awareness continues to writhe in the collective consciousness of 108 which is an attribute that has set them apart from the rest of the musical world since their inception. From there "18.61" pounds forth with the upmost intensity. Standout track "Crescent Moon" races at manic speed before crashing in on itself in one of 108's heaviest moments ever. Title track "18.61", a moving and brooding song that combines all of the unique musical qualities that make up 108. The gritty "Reduced" showcases new drummer Mike Justian (Trap Them, Unearth, etc.) as the new heart at the center of the 108 machine, rhythmically pushing the envelope. Though the aforementioned songs are electric in every way, it's in some of the more daring tracks that "18.61" truly starts to really shine. "Mannequins" and "Forever Is Destroyed" pick up where classics Black Flag and Rollins Band left off, taking frantic and unpredictable sonic turns that only a band like 108 could navigate. All of this makes "18.61" yet another stunning album from a band that continues to write their own destiny as one the most important and influential hardcore/punk bands in existence today. 1000 copies on opaque purple vinyl out of 2000 copies from the first pressing total. • Hailing from London's working class East End, The 4-Skins formed in 1979 at the very onset of Oi! music. By the time this, their 2nd full length, was released in 1983 by the Syndicate Records label, the group had gone through numerous line-up changes and were now sporting a heavier, more melodic,  hard rock-based sound fronted by ex-Last Resort vocalist, Roi Pearce. One of the hardest hitting punk albums of the '80s A Fistful Of 4-Skins is reissued here on LP with 2 tracks ("On The Streets" from the 'Son Of Oi!' compilation and a demo version of 'Saturday') added as bonus!

  • After two terrific albums with United Artists, the boys in 999 signed a deal with Polydor and released what is now considered as their finest full length LP, "The Biggest Prize In Sport". While still a 'punk' band, 999 were born during the pub scene and had more meat on their musical bones than most punks, and instead of turning away from their punk sound, they simply refined it. Upon first listening to this album, many folks were amazed to find out that 999 were a great rock n roll band, punk or no punk. The edges are still there, but they are more well-rounded this time out thanks to producer Vic Maile. The anthemic "Boys In The Gang" starts off the set in style (but 999 always knew how to kickstart an album). "Inside Out", with Guy Days' twisted guitar riff, picks up the pace. Although "Trouble" slows things down with it's reggae groove, it's such a great change of pace (Nick Cash's wail sounds similar to the Specials' Terry Hall on this track). "Fun Thing" has a great little hook and a powerful guitar solo that will grab you by the balls. "Hollywood", about their first trip to California, received solid airplay in the U.S., and has remained a 999 classic ever since. "Stop! Stop!" is a bouncy little bubblegum punk nugget. Practically every track a classic.

  • A BIRTHDAY PARTY BAND | lead sky | LP

    11.00 6.00 incl. tax

This band started as a sort of a joke. And suddenly, all 3 people involved, discovered, that despite playing hard, fast, aggressive tunes in their own THE FIGHT, VITAMIN X, TANGLED LINES, ALL DAY HELL, KNIFE IN THE LEG it's quite fun to play softer, melodic, yet melancholic guitar music. The hint can be that the bass player of such female punk combos as MASSKOTKI and POGOTOWIE SEKSUALNE has been recruited for bass duties here. More hints: 70s (ambitious) punk, Masshysteri, Sista Sekunden and... Pixies, Minuteman... Fugazi.

  • ABADDON | wet za wet | LP

    12.50 incl. tax

The original release was the result of international DIY efforts avoiding the narrow-mindedness of the Iron Curtain. It also brought together two of the strongest scenes of the Eastern Bloc - Polish and Yugoslavian. All of the recordings were done in Borut Cine Studio, in Ljubljana, during Abaddon's tour of Yugoslavia. Invited by Peter Barbaric, they also played a couple of shows with bands like Pankrti or U.B.R. The "Wet za wet" LP was then released by New Wave Records from France. Because of this, and also thanks to worldwide tape-traders and the band's appearances on comp. tapes like "Noise Behind the Iron Dustbin" or "Cultural Compost Pit", as well as a bootleg split-tape with Rejestracja, they were quite well-known beyond their home country. In Poland, their regular performances at the Jarocin Festival and appearances on legendary compilations like "Fala" and "Jak punk to punk" established the band as one of the classics of the genre. The LP contains 8 fast, direct, and tight Hardcore Punk ragers and a great roots/dub song called "Ljubljana night." Coming from their Polish/Eastern European perspective, the album's lyrics and artwork expressed a protest against any form of authoritarian power - from the brutality of fascism during WWII and the 1981 revolts in Poland, to more current world problems of the time, like Apartheid in South Africa and the global arms race. In the context of Poland's political climate in the 80s, their lyrics and music were seriously impressive. Mastering for the reissue was done from the original sources by Jarek Smok at Studio As One (Warsaw). The LP features a gatefold cover, an additional booklet with an exclusive interview with Tomasz Dorn, drummer of Abaddon and words from Patrice (New Wave Records) and plenty of rare photos (including the work of Michał Wasążnik - one of the best documenters of 80s punk in Poland). All of the lyrics and the interview come with English translations. One of the most classic releases of Polish Hardcore Punk available again on vinyl!

Originally released in 1985, this is the sole album by Tony Cadenas' own The Abandoned, the band he formed after the Adolescents original break up in 1981. Sounding a lot like Tony's original band but with an heavier Germs influence, and a more metallic, darker, almost Motörhead-esque touch. As long as Adolescents got back on track, right before releasing their mid '80s comeback masterpiece 'Brats In Battalions' this obscure page of California punk rock history got completely forgotten and was never reopened until today. A band that really pushed the boundaries for the time while sticking to their roots, something most bands were not able to do. A must for all California punk rock maniacs out there!

The belting new album from Madrid’s ACCIDENTE. They are quickly becoming a house hold name with their blend of melodic pop punk and anarcho politics and constant touring. On their 3rd album ACCIDENTE from Madrid deliver another ten wonderful tracks of incredible pure HC / PUNK - melodic & straightforward! The sweet melodies, guitarriffs and basic drumming fit perfectly to the catchy female vocals. And you can't help, not to sings along to the spanish lyrics (even if you can't speak that language). This is an outstanding record and brings up comparisons to ELEKTRODUENDES, THE ASSASSINATORS and MASSHYSTERI. Comes in a Gatefold Sleeve. (Contraszt! Records)
  • ACEPHALIX | st | 7″

    6.00 incl. tax
A brutal combination of low end metallic distortion, pummeling riffs and gnarled vocals, San Francisco's ACEPHALIX's debut 4- song 7" takes influence from all over the map of extreme music - from CELTIC FROST to CRO-MAGS and INTEGRITY, from WOLFPACK and later ANTI-CIMEX to SACRILEDGE and AXEGRINDER, but has hammered out and forged its own sound by relentless gigs around the SF Bay Area over the past year. Featuring current and former members of THE RIFFS, DEPRESSOR, POISON IDEA, DEFIANCE, DEATHCHARGE and BLOWN TO BITS, this is the heaviest thing Prank has released in almost fifty releases, a modern attack; yet reminiscent of early classic Prank releases by DAMAD, ELDOPA 1332 and the bleak punk metal fusions of the late 90's and early 00's. (Prank Records)
  • This LP compiles the only two singles from Scottish punk legends Actives, recorded in 1983 and 1984. Their brand of fast, noisy punk rock found them sharing stages with the biggest bands of the era like The Exploited, The Adicts, and Abrasive Wheels. (Puke n Vomit Records)
  • One of the great lost treasures of Brit-punk, Ad Nauseam hailed from the town of Portsmouth in the south of England. After a couple of demo tapes and a single, they self-released this 8 track 12" that totally competed with Disorder and Varukers in terms of rage and fury. Plodding and painful UK anarcho-punk delivered amidst complete chaos and a whir of analog distortion. Originally printed and distributed by the band in 1987, supposedly in a mere impossible-to-find few hundred copies, this is a must have in any UK Hardcore collection! Adolescents, also known as The Blue Album due to its cover design, is the debut studio album by American punk rock band the Adolescents, released in April 1981 on Frontier Records. Recorded after guitarist Rikk Agnew and drummer Casey Royer joined the band, it features several songs written for their prior group, the Detours, including "Kids of the Black Hole" and "Amoeba", which became two of the Adolescents' most well-known songs. Adolescents was one of the first hardcore punk albums to be widely distributed throughout the United States, and became one of the best-selling California hardcore albums of its time.[1] The band never toured in support of it, and broke up four months after its release. The Blue Album lineup of Agnew, Royer, guitarist Frank Agnew, bassist Steve Soto and singer Tony Brandenburg reunited several times in subsequent years, but only for brief periods. The new and 2nd album for this Swedish band formed by ex-Shades Of Gray, Future Ruins members. 13 new tracks of old school death metal spiked D-BEAT crust punk remembering the best moments of Disfear, Martyrdöd and Entombed! The lyrically content is by far outstanding but let the band explain here: “Our new album The Wrath Of Euphrates is named after the military operation launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces against the ISIS, with the goal of capturing the Islamic State’s capital city Raqqa, a goal that was accomplished in October 2017. This lyrical content on this album could be seen as a time document, since most of the lyrics deal with events that took place in the world during the process of writing these songs. As much as this album should be seen as a canalization of our anger and fear over the populist politicians, climate change deniers, the oppression, the wars, the racism and misogyny that plagues our time, this album is also a tribute to the resistance. A tribute to the freedom fighters of Rojava, who defeated the world’s worst terrorist group and built real democracy in a place where democracy never existed. A tribute to all the people worldwide fighting against climate change, racism and misogyny. A tribute to the international punk community and to all other people who dedicate their lives to making this world a better place. The Wrath Of Euphrates was recorded by Ulf Blomberg in Hoborec studio, while the mixing and mastering was done by Henrik Udd. On this album we had the pleasure of working with some of our favorite punk/HC vocalists. We recorded 2 songs together with Tomas Jonsson of Anti Cimex/Wolfpack, who manage to deliver killer vocals despite the fact that he hadn’t been in a studio for 20 years. The album also features collaborations with Brad Boatright of From Ashes Rise, and with Nastya Palamar of Exist M. We hope you’re gonna enjoy it” – Mattias, Martin, Aleksei, Jack (Deviance, Phobia Records, Loner Cult and Dark Elk Records) https://phobiarecords.bandcamp.com/album/adrestia-the-wrath-of-euphrates-lp

Back in the early ‘80s, the D-beat sound that was patented by Discharge was not as ubiquitous as it is now, where armies of Discharge clone bands pounding out their variations of the time tested sonic booms. There were the likes of Crucifix, Diatribe, Iconoclast, Battalion Of Saints, and a small handful of bands bashing out such sounds across California., including a little-known band from Venice Beach called Against. They hadn’t simply come out from some void, as their lineage tied them to other bands that had become more well known in the scene — before Against, Michael Dunnigan and his brother Sean (guitar and drums, respectively) were half of an early lineup of Suicidal Tendencies and members also had involvement with another obscure LA band, The Runns, who would later mutate into Wasted Youth. During their brief original run, Against recorded two sessions in 1983-1984 which yielded a demo tape and an EP for Upstart Records that was never fully realized. These 18 tracks are presented there for the first time ever on vinyl and are accompanied by a 12"x36" poster insert with liner notes, lyrics and many unseen photos and flyers, as well as newly commissioned artwork by Venice's legendary Ric Clayton. • The Agathocles material was especially recorded for this one-sided split LP, sound wise the four songs sound like the early 80's hardcore stuff. including Flemish lyrics New recordings from CAPITAL SCUM since years, the band decided to record 6 new tracks some old early Eighties songs that had never been recorded properly before. Some of them exist on old demo's and live tapes. They all have this great Eighties vibe we all love so much. There's only one song "Burn The Witch" thats a song from a side project I once did named Blood Curse. that was (Pies) on vocals, Larrie (CS) on guitar, Dirk (ex Eardamage) on bass and Hugo (ex CPD) on drums. The band was a Misfits meets Discharge horror Punk thingy and only existed for 2 years (2008-2010). The amazing cover artwork was done by good friend, tattoo artist and punk-rocker Jan Deweerdt from Kortrijk Belgium. (Power It Up Records) https://capitalscumagathocles.bandcamp.com/
  • AA defines an active band with plenty tours in their backsack. Releasing vinyl after vinyl, cassette on US-label and mostly tearing it down into sweat, adrenaline and instant smiles in the pit, Monument Records are privileged to be on the run since the start with Green Menace Records. The latter, and most frequent teamplayer, turned to Adult Crash: Denmark's finest.
Here we are talking fast hardcore of the old school with clear USHC tendencies from all the wonderful 80's. Dirty, bloody and raw quickly, just as it was intended from the very beginning. Frustration, anxiety and cheeky middle finger recorded on a twelve inch of plastic. It does not get much more punk than this.

  • Adventurous southern California punk trio Agent Orange was the first band to mix surf rock with punk. The group was formed in1l979 in Placentia, a small town close to Fullerton and Anaheim, by frontman Mike Palm on guitar and lead vocals, Steve Soto on bass and Scott Miller on drums. That early line up recorded the classic version of "Bloodstains" in 1979 as a demo produced by Daniel R. van Patten (of the group Berlin). A year later it was included on the seminal Rodney On The Roq compilation album released by Posh Boy Records. Meanwhile James Levesque had replaced Steve Soto (Adolescents) and the new line up released their own self produced and self released 7" ep in 1980. A year later, the group signed with Robbie Fields' Posh Boy Records for their debut LP Living In Darkness, co-produced by Fields and former Simpletones guitarist Jay Lansford. The album was recorded at Brian Elliott’s store front studio in North Hollywood (a few years before Elliott struck gold writing Madonna’s “Papa Don’t Preach”). A milestone in California Punk Rock history. Limited to 800 handnumbered copies RSD 2020 edition, on PURPLE VINYL with 5 bonus tracks, with double sided lyric insert! (Radiation Records)
  • Often (wrongfully) mistaken as the band's weakest record (though let's be honest, AGNOSTIC FRONT never released a weak album), "dead yuppies" is full of hidden gems. Using old-school anger, energy, and attitude, "dead yuppies" is a ferocious attack on the status quo that doesn't let up for a second. AGNOSTIC FRONT "first warning - the "united blood" era recordings, new york city, 1983" (Radiation) THE 'UNITED BLOOD' ERA RECORDINGS, NEW YORK CITY, 1983' - Controversial east coast punk band Agnostic Front were lynchpins of the New York hardcore scene. Formed in 1982 by former Eliminators guitarist Vinnie Stigma along with vocalist John Watson, drummer Rob Crib Crash and bassist Diego, the band went through several other early members to settle on Vinnie Stigma, bassist Adam Mucci, drummer Raybeez and Cuban-born singer Roger Miret for these recordings. Often misunderstood in their early days due largely to their majority skinhead following and the shock imagery of their record covers, the group carved out its reputation in the dilapidated Lower East Side of Manhattan, then blighty by poverty, drugs, violence and high levels of urban decay. The recordings featured on this incendiary compilation date from the very start of their recording career, beginning with the demos that led to their debut seven-inch release, the self-issued 'United Blood' EP, bolstered by other recordings from the period that were left unissued at the time; some of the material included here later appeared on the 'Raw And Unleased' CD, but several songs are appearing on vinyl here for the very first time. Agnostic Front went on to reign supreme on the New York hardcore scene throughout the 1980s and although later recordings once again saw membership changes that brought a shift in style to include thrash-metal crossover elements, their longevity and high standing is such that they were featured on Showtime's 'The Godfathers Of Hardcore' documentary, ultimately leading to Roger Miret's recently released autobiography 'My Riot'. REPRESSED! Their "demo" cd hit me by surprise and I really couldn't refuse to put this out! These folks come from Gothenburg in lovely Sweden and deliver the goods! The demo (minus 1 song though) that you'll find on this black piece of vinyl hold 4 times thundering death and black metal soaked doom, with hints of crust, as well as atmospheric and epic darkness. The guitars range from devastating heaviness to gloomy acoustic sections, with piercing leads that flash through the darkness every now and then. If you've ever wanted to know exactly how your favourite metal, crust, and doom bands would have sounded like if they were one band this is where you should turn. I won't namedrop anything, just ask you to take me on my word that you really need to check this out if you've been even the slightest intrigued with what's written above. Even though I could drop many influential names, as well as list several of your favourite Swedish crustcore bands in the "members of" department. (Kleister) (Skuld Records)
  • The wait was long, but now it's ready! A dignified follow-up of their first album! An intense Dolp from this dark crust band from Gothenburg. I haven't really enough words to describe this brutal yet twisted attack on my eardrums. Eight songs in just over 72 minutes(!) of death and blackmetal gloom with a healthy dose of crust punk influences leaving me speechless. The Double Lp comes in a beautiful gatefold with a foldout insert. CD version is being released in the US by Profane Existence. (Skuld Records)

Excellent record now: short crunchy crackers and another one of my favorites. The Aheads from Herford were one of the first punk bands in the region of East Westphalia. 1975 they were founded as "Ron Age Band" and their first appearance was in 1977 at Hellepark under the name "Those Fuckin' Aheads" named after rockers from the Crumb Comix. After the first punk songs from England could be heard through the radio broadcast by John Peel in Germany and by attending a concert by Wire, the band began writing their own songs. With their unconventional sound for its time the band led by former British soldier Andy Stillon known punk bands like the Dead Kennedys has enthusiastically. The Aheads debut was the 'Freedom Of Speech EP' and one year later two songs on the great Soundtracks Zum Untergang compilation. Then toured with Slime, Betoncombo and Middle Class Fantasies. After the tour the band recorded their only album in Berlin which was released by AGR. Their last gig was in 1982 at the Audimax in Bielefeld. After the dissolution of the band guitarist Bernd and drummer Werner played in the 80s in a number of not very long-lived bands. Under the name Roll On Roll Off they released the single "Fig. 320" and the self-produced mini album "Pussy Push" in 1988. Andy Stillion, the singer of the band died on 11. July 2010 in the morning. With his girlfriend on a boat trip to the Farne Islands, he collapsed on the boat. In 2011 the remaining band members published a showcase with all produced songs including a DVD supplement with photos of their active career.  LP comes with posters, bonus DVD and band history. Beautiful thing.

  • You’d think Jake Robertson would already have his hands full playing in the likes of Ausmuteants, Leather Towel, School Damage, Drug Sweat et al. But no, evidently there’s always time for one more thoroughly wracked project, and Alien Nose Job’s focus is as kaleidoscopically scattershot as you’d expect from a man with such a short attention span. Just to confirm: yes, that’s a good thing. From the off, we glide through the Coneheads-style Devocore of Television Sets before romping through the jangling lo-fi pop of Weight of the World, which skips and mopes while making like The Clean setting light to their parents’ carpet with a magnifying glass. There’s also charmingly scruffy soul-pop, chugging sci-fi slop-punk, straight-up college rock balladry and much, much more. But these aren’t sketches or tossed-off genre exercises. They’re bona fide works of consummate skill that resonate sincerely and effortlessly. Essentially, each song sounds like a challenge to the one that follows, a cry of ‘step the fuck up’; Suddenly Everything is Twice as Loud is a treasure trove of mini-masterpieces. Rough as fuck mini-masterpieces, sure, recorded with a cheap drum machine and guitars that sound like rusty drills cutting through power cables, but mini-masterpieces nonetheless. When venerable doyens of the pop establishment make albums of such eclectic scope and genuine songwriting talent, they get called geniuses. When punk as fuck wiseguys like Robertson pull it off, words like ‘maverick’ get tossed around. Rest assured, his Alien Nose Job project covers both angles. This second album is an instant classic that deserves to be heard far beyond the underground – but if it isn’t, who cares? He’s probably playing in another seven bands already by the time you read this. I’ve not heard them yet either, but I can tell you they’re all fucking amazing. Just buy this record and join the cult. • This is the long awaited repress of the out of print 7" originally released on S.U.R. Records. These 2 songs from NY's All Out War were originally intended for an Astor Records NYHC compilation that never saw the light of day. All Out War is a punishing display of the aggression of hardcore crossed with the brutality of metal while avoiding the shortcomings of both genres. To get a taste of All Out War's musical style, envision Carcass colliding head on with "Age of Quarrel" era Cro- Mags. Two styles as different as they come but All Out War combines the two to form an attack unmatched by today's standards. (Trip Machine Laboratories)
  • ALPINIST is a dark hardcore four-piece from Münster, Germany. lichtlaerm/minus.mensch” is crushing yet beautiful – heavy and atmospheric crust- and post-hardcore, bringing to mind the likes of FROM ASHES RISE, FALL OF EFRAFA, early ENFY etc.. They’re definitely an apocalyptic journey of sound. MASAKARI got finally a new record! Close your eyes and imagine that His Hero is Gone and Amebix got together and had a child… got it? Ok, now imagine that that child grows up in a dank room full of teenage angst, listening to nothing but Death Side and Disfear records until he is 21 years-old. Now open your eyes and what you have is Masakari, a crust punk band from Cleveland, Ohio. (Alerta Antifascista ‎Records / Halo Of Flies ‎Records)

  • Amyl and the Sniffers are a punk band possessed by the spirit of seventies Australian rock. Amy Taylor (vocals), Bryce Wilson (drums), Dec Martens (guitar) are former housemates who formed the band, wrote a handful of tunes and released their debut EP, Giddy Up, all in a span of twelve hours. Completing their line up with Gus Romer on bass, the band take their cues from a diverse bunch of legends including AC/DC, Cosmic Psychos, Dolly Parton and Die Antwoord, setting out to have as much fun as possible. Their 2nd EP, Big Attraction, was released in February 2017, kicking off a stellar year for these young punks. Growing buzz around their blistering live show made the band a hot tip at Bigsound in Brisbane, while the band was added to festival line-ups including Meredith and CherryRock17. The band and were invited to join the Cosmic Psychos on their forthcoming November/December tour and capped off the year with a sellout NYE show at the legendary Tote in their home town of Melbourne. 2018 sees Amyl And The Sniffers ratchet up another couple of gears with their first national headline tour in April followed by UK shows in May, and their first North American tour in June with fellow Melbournians King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard. • After two 7" singles (on Sacred Bones and Toxic State), a flexi and demos galore, Nuke York's ANASAZI finally unleash their debut album on La Vida Es Un Mus in Europe and Toxic State in America. 'Nasty Witch Rock' comes from the dirty, rotten and seedier side of New York. The album is built on raw energy, passion and intensity. The sound is blown out with distorted and echoey guitar work akin to Fire Of Love era GUN CLUB , pounding tribal drum patterns and a vocalist who oozes violence and desperation. If you have 'In The Flat Field' era BAUHAUS, TSOL or CHRISTIAN DEATH in your collection or loved it when the early 80's UK anarcho bands added a bit of goth edge to their sound then ANASAZI is a must hear. The 180 gsm vinyl comes housed in a heavy weight sleeve including a 16 page small booklet and an A1 poster.

  • White vinyl. Anchor is a hardcore band with members spread out all over Scandinavia, yet keeping up a relentless tour schedule, always with an urge to do and see more. I’ve know these guys for years and have the deepest respect for their message, passion, and integrity so I’m amped to have them on the label. Recovery is Anchor's second full length, and the band’s debut release on React! records. This is the North American version of the album, with the European version already out on Refuse Records. Call it 90's hardcore if you will, and you might be right, but there are hints here and there of the Scandinavian heritage. Weather it's a catchy melody a'la Millencolin, or a crushing riff flirting more with the Swedish death metal scene than anything else, Anchor is bringing it all together nicely on this LP. There’s a part during “Too High to Die”, the third track on Annihilation Time’s classic album II, where Jimmy Rose screams, “I got blood pouring from my mouth and I like the taste of it”. Over massive guitar riffs and even a cowbell, it sounds like the perfect storm of greasy 70s rock, blazing thrash and urgent 80s hardcore. You can almost feel the crushed beer cans underfoot. II stands as an American power punk rock classic now repressed in limited PURPLE VINYL! on Tee Pee Records!! Recorded in 2004 at Motorwolf Studios in Holland while the band was on tour, the album brings together the riffs of Thin Lizzy and Motorhead with the snarl of Black Flag and Siege. Forming in Southern California in 2001, Annihilation Time were ferocious and constant touring (and partying) with bands like Municipal Waste and Caustic Christ earned them a cult like following across the US and Europe. Since the band split in 2009, members have gone on to play in numerous bands including Lecherous Gaze. (Tee Pee Records)

Formed in Derbyshire, in early 1978 by vocalist Martin Roper and guitarist Dugi Bell, Anti-Pasti were one of the big names of the 1980-1982 wave of UK punk, lagging only slightly behind The Exploited, GBH, and Discharge in terms of sales and leather-jacketed endorsements. Their debut album, which reached #31 on the UK charts, was originally released on the Rondelet label in 1981. That classic LP is faithfully reproduced here on vinyl with the addition of four bonus tracks from their first single, 1980s 'Four Sore Points'. A milestone in UK political punk!

  • Recorded in Hollywood in a mere three days at the end of 1982 - oddly enough aided by the presence of Joe Strummer who was in the studio the first day of recording- 'Defy The System' is California punk group Anti's second album, considered by most to be at least as astonishing as their debut. Partly played by John Carthy from Alley Cats on drums, and originally released on the New Underground label, this was the second and last chapter in Anti's history, right before singer Danny Dean went on to form his later band Easter with Social Distortion's Mike Ness on guitar. This is pure early '80s California punk rock in the vein of Bad Religion or T.S.O.L. An absolute masterpiece now represented on vinyl, with original artwork and insert, for the first time in 35 years.

  • Anti's 1984 'God Can't Bounce' collects all their tracks from the New Underground's label 'Life Is...' compilation (a California Punk manifesto of sorts which also included, among others, Descendents, Minutemen, and Germs), and outtakes from both previous albums, consisting of recordings made in the 1982 and 1983 period. Ten slabs of pure California punk rock for fans of Black Flag, Bad Religion, Sin 34 and the like. First vinyl reissue in nearly 35 years on Radiation Records.

Part of the late '70s/early '80s HC/punk explosion out of the Los Angeles area, where bands like Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Minutemen, and Bad Religion originated from, Anti formed in 1979 by a then teenage Danny Phillips, better known as Danny Dean, who was the bassist/guitarist and first original vocalist, primary songwriter, and sole continuous member throughout multiple lineup changes during the past 40 years. Their 1982 debut album, 'I Don't Want To Die In Your War', was recorded and mixed by legendary producer and sound engineer for Black Flag and Descendents, Spot. It is a major example of California hardcore from the early '80s. Despite having been completely underrated, Anti's 1982 debut paved the way for a lot of California punk to come. Available again for the first time after almost four decades on its original format, with its original artwork and complete with insert thanks to Radiation Records.

What we have here is a must have for all obsessive ANTISECT completist like myself. This record consists of two early demos, and two live sets from ’82, before they recorded the ‘In Darkness’ LP. And although the recording quality on this may leave something to be desired it is still very much worth having, in order to appreciate the evolution of the band. The songs themselves are much more raw and primal, short and to the point, and very DISCHARGE influenced (a comparison the band themselves hated, but is undeniable). The live sets featured on the B side are really the best to listen to, as they not only have a better sound and recording quality, but also feel much more representative of the band’s sound. However, the real star of this release is the packaging itself. It has two inserts, filled with tons of live photos, artwork, reviews, interviews, gig flyers, and writings from the band itself, all from the early ‘80’s. It also has an awesome fold out poster. For people like me, who are huge fans of ANTISECT, but aren’t old enough to have been around to see their early days this is an excellent look at the bands history.

  • Live recording of one of the most influential bands from England, their full lenght "In Darkness ..." is a classic dark anarcho punk. Here, good quality concert from Leeds in 1986. In addition, double insert with a history of Antisect, interview and other things.

  • True legends never die! One of the most influential of all the bands to emerge from the febrile anarcho-punk scene of the early '80s return in 2017 with 'The Rising Of The Light' (first record since 1984!). The album could hardly be a more righteous soundtrack for humanity's spiralling demise. The spirit of '83 is very much alive and its most potent protagonists are once again kicking doggedly against the pricks. The LP is presented in a gatefold sleeve and includes a 20-page booklet. ARCHAIC is a new project based between Berlin, Venice and Barcelona. This  debut three track EP is a rusted nail of intense hardcore with industrial undertones which sits somewhere between FOGNA and DESTINO FINAL but with a bigger production. Guitar layers of repetition create a bed of noise when the delay infected vocals lay painfully. Someone called it the NWOIH and I won't be the one saying that isn't the case. • ARMIA | legenda | LP

    23.00 incl. tax
Legenda is their second studio album that was released in 1991. Official reissue on limted 180 gr black vinyl with printed inner sleeve. "Legenda" is an ambitious musical project, a multilayered masterpiece that is meaningful on many levels and escapes easy categorization. The production is fantastic: the sound is dark and monumental but unpretentious, powerful but relying on the strength of the composition rather than on petty heaviness, it is also cold and yet organic and epic. In addition to the classic punk instruments, there are some flute, French horn, acoustic guitar, clarinet, trumpet and synth on "Legenda". The horns increase the epic, monumental quality of the album, possibly even casting an almost ironic, self-reflexive light upon it, and add a subtle moodiness when needed. The synth is very much an atmospheric tool and offers a postindustrial reading of the Soviet epics. For what it is worth, and as irrelevant as it might be, "Legenda" blends the distinctively Polish punk sound of Dezerter (noticeably in the riffs' structure) with the awe-inspiring power of "In darkness"-era Antisect in order to get the perfect ink with which Armia are going to write a darkly ironic, multi-instrumental story about madness and alienation. "Legenda" is incredibly difficult to describe but listening to it as a story is probably the most relevant stance. There are interludes that give fluidity to the album and confer meaning to what precedes or follows. The Don Quijote metaphor that pervades the aesthetics of the Lp tends to indicate that "Legenda" could be a contextualized rewriting. A blinded man living in denial, obsessed with ideas but discarding reality, as pathetic as he is heroic, the Quijote prism can be meaningful on many levels. It could be a comment on post-Soviet Poland (debunking the mythical representation), or on punk-rock, or on the shibboleth of ideology, or on the creative act itself. (Terminal Sound Nuisance) (Metal Mind Production)
  • “Armia” is the band’s debut studio album from 1988. First time official reissue of this highly influential Polish punk classic . Limited 180gr red vinyl with printed inner sleeve. Armia started at the end 1984 after Tomasz Budzynski left Siekiera for whom he was singing (it was over a matter of musical direction, and Siekiera went new-wave after the departure of Tomasz) and founded Armia with guitar-player Robert Brylewski (died in 2018 after beaten up), who had been part of the legendary, mood-defining Brygada Kryzys and of Izrael, a very popular reggae band (reggae has always been hugely popular in Poland). On the drums was also a former Izrael, Tomasz Kozuchowski, and on the bass was yet another Tomasz (they almost could call themselves "Tomasz Army" really). From the beginning, there was something unique and compelling about Armia. Although the band obviously built on the peculiarly intense Polish punk sound of bands like Dezerter, TZN Xenna, Moskwa, Abaddon and indeed Siekiera, as the texture and the structure of the riffs could attest, there was a different feel, a creative intent that was new, conceptual, almost metaphysical and could be seen in the aesthetics of Armia as much as in their music and words. The use of horns and other "non-punk" instruments gave the band a unique sound and pointed at their desire to create a unique soundscape (the fact that some members had already played in the horns-using Izrael also helped). The first 1987 Lp confirmed the band's amazing potential. Although it lacks the awesome power of "Legenda" and is still quite close to the classic Polish punk sound, some songs hinted at the songwriting tour de force that was to follow. But more important, the first album showed something central to Armia: the narrative intent. If you listen to it closely, there is a storytelling quality to the Lp, albeit in a still imperfect form. Taken individually, for all their undeniable quality as hardcore-punk numbers, the songs don't have the same strength and are not as meaningful as when the Lp is seen as a whole. A feeling of dementia and insanity floats over the album but it can only be heard when you listen to the whole work. (Terminal Sound Nuisance) (Metal Mind Production)
  • ARMS RACE unleash their debut album after a well-received 6-track demo in 2013 and a 6-track 7" EP in 2014 on Quality Control HQ and Painkiller. Arms Race arrived on the scene fully formed with their powerful and gnarly UK-meets-USA hardcore: their signature sound of a vocalist chewing on glass is backed by one of the most solid rhythm sections in HC these days, and the guitar work adds a metallic element making the whole sound gigantic while keeping the ugliness and aggression to the max. NWOBHC is a statement of no-frills hardcore that is not scared to reach out to different corners of the punk and metal world. (La Vida Es Un Mus Records) https://lavidaesunmus.bandcamp.com/album/new-wave-of-british-hardcore-lp
  • ARMS RACE follow up to their “New Wave Of British Hardcore” LP with four new tracks, which sees the band solidify their place as one of the strongest pillars of UK hardcore. Touring Europe and Japan since the release of the LP, these 4 new tracks are yet more proof of why the band leaves a trail of fans whenever they play. “The Beast” displays a ferocious hardcore attack with both boots firmly stuck on the hardcore and punk territories while looking forward to new soundscapes on which they evolve, such as on track 'Distort Britannia' that showcases a slowed down atmospheric stomper. Part classic USA Hardcore, part Bristol and Stoke On Trent punk, these new tracks are a perfect continuation of what the band has created during these last 5 years. The Beast comes housed in a pocket sleeve with artwork by bass player and LVEUM shitworker Nicky Rat and includes a lyric insert and download code. While the historical ‘Vaultage’ section of the zine features interviews with original LA punk zine FLIPSIDE, London anarcho post-punks PART 1 and Stoke’s EXIT CONDITION. On top of this are the articles: ‘Death to the Sickoids’ a 10,000 word history of Canadian punk in the 70s and 80s, ‘Punks in Parkas’ on the ‘79 mod revival by ace face Neil Cox (Shutdown, Thirty Six Strategies, Diaz Brothers) and ‘Ragin’ Full On In Early 80s Southern California’ featuring the hardcore memoirs of Andy Nystrom (Sorex, There’s Something Hard In There). There are also over 100 reviews and zero advertising, all jammed into 40 litho printed A4 pages. MYDOLLS 7” This three song 7” featuring ‘Nova Grows Up’, ‘The/Rapist’ and ‘In Technicolor’ is an enhanced reissue with new artwork of the Mydolls 1981 debut release on C.I.A. Records (run by Linda of the band along with her husband U-Ron Bondage of REALLY RED). From Houston, Texas, this male-backed feminist art-punk four piece followed their own path, creating a unique post-punk sound that would’ve fitted right in on Rough Trade’s roster of bands of the day alongside THE SLITS and THE RAINCOATS. The band travelled to London not longer after this 7” was released in 1982 to promote the record and were interviewed by John Peel. They went onto release another 7” and a mini-album in the 80s, appeared in Wim Wenders’ film Paris, Texas, as well as playing gigs along side touring bands like MINOR THREAT, THE CRAMPS and SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES, as well as locals BIG BOYS, REALLY RED and THE DICKS. The 7” (with some additional audio) comes on green/grey marble vinyl and is housed in an eight page lyric and photo booklet.
  • Solid black vinyl version limited to 300 copies - LP+CD. Torino, Northern Italy, is with no trace of doubt one of the areas that gave birth to some of the most important Italian Hardcore bands of all eras… NEGAZIONE, DECLINO, CONTR-AZIONE, 5# BRACCIO, ROUGH just to mention a few. And the great thing about this city is that all this did not only last in the ’80s but had a solid continuation in the decades to follow. Bands like ARTURO, CRUNCH, FRAMMENTI, BELLI-COSI, C.O.V. took the legacy of the giants that came before and ruled the ’90s reinventing Hardcore with creativity, passion and a flash of genius in song-writing. ARTURO were certainly the fastest and those that have been more pristine in sticking to the total Hardcore formula, especially in their early years with Alfo on vocals. So this anthology is all focused on that time, the early years of one of the most furious Italian Hardcore bands of the Nineties… fast, top adrenalinic Hardcore that gives no time to breathe from start to finish! It includes their debut CD “Ar-cor” (1995), the two Ep’s “Isterico” (1997) and “Topo volante” (1998) plus a bonus CD with the impossible to find first demo and an unreleased soundboard live at El Paso (Torino), 1996 opening for CRIPPLE BASTARDS (actually at that time ARTURO shared their drummer and bass-player with CB!). 63 songs of manic fast TORINO HC!!! Double insert with lyrics, original artworks and photos. (F.O.A.D. Records)
  • Sweden’s Hardcore pioneers blast back after 23 years! “Död åt kapitalismen” is their first recording since 1994 and as expected it takes no prisoners… 10 songs of raw and brutal HC combing the traditional Scandinavian approach with a solid d-beat structure. It takes all the best features of their previous works to push them to a new devastating stage… speed, anger, vitriolic vocals and a solid production makes this a total scandicore headsmasher for fans of Anti Cimex, Crude SS, Totallitär, Avskum and so on. Comes in a gatefold sleeve. (F.O.A.D. Records)
  • Solid black vinyl ltd. to 350 copies - 19.00 The masters of complete Hardcore Mangel are back with a vengeance! 12 songs of crushing Swedish Hardcore from these timeless legends mangling ears since the early ’80s!! Two years after “Död åt kapitalismen“, a new menace of uncompromised fury is ready to endanger your cardiac stability… Not only these guys were pioneers of the fastest and rawest ’80s Hardcore ever spawned from the freezing North, but they are among the few that kept the same level of intensity and anger with their recent reunion. All the greatest features for a brutal Swedish Hardcore record are pushed to the top on this new full length, vitriolic vocals and vicious discharged riffs picturing the most apocalyptic war scenarios, solid scandicore/d-beat drumming and a kick-in-the-face production giving to all their rawness and distortion an even sicker and cruder feeling. Correct us if we fail to say that with this record we are closing the year with the best Swedish Hardcore album of 2019 and who knows for how much time more. (F.O.A.D. Records)
