Out of stockLet's Start a War, or Let's Start a War... (Said Maggie One Day), is the third album by the punk band The Exploited, released in 1983 through Pax Records. The title refers to Margaret Thatcher's decision to go to war over the Falkland Islands in 1982, suggesting that she did so almost on a whim. The controversial war was fodder for many protest songs in the punk movement. (Radiation Records)

E.O.M. have been around since 1992, so they are veterans of the UK punk. They started when others finished and when time passed (20 something years) and I get the chance to hear their fourth upcoming full length album, I realise they are one of the very few who are true to what UK punk has always been about. They are the natural continuator of the UK anarcho crust punk movement started in the late 80s by the likes of ANTI SECT, AMEBIX or AXEGRINDER.
“Storm of Resentment” is the concentrate of the UK anarcho punk. Take what is best from it (the lyrics, the statements, the sound, the tempo, the anger and dedication) and add thrashy guitars to top it all. EOM prove you don’t need to play very fast to be brutal. “Cash Cow” intro leads you slowly into the record with its instrumental 2-minute piece. And then it all starts. Lengthy punk songs with metal influence and apocaliptic atmosphere. “Turn a Blind Eye” has very good female vocals and “Believers of Their Lies”, the 6-minute suite, contains a tirade of spoken words and sampes to complete this anarcho punk feel of this masterpiece. I remember very well the first time I heard the great “Baptised In Shit”. This one is equally good, if not better! 1000 copies pressed, 100 of them will come in a crazy circular saw-shaped 2 colors (purple black haze) vinyl all packed up in a typical Crass style poster/sleeve to keep the 80'es feeling stronger than ever.

Your favorite mid-tempo manglers are back and you should hold on to your fucking shit because this noisy hardcore punk outfit will make you want to fight someone. GAG is from Olympia WA and bring deranged, distorted and noisy hardcore with strength and anger. This record is a continuous attack on your senses. And I mean that in the best possible way! Ferocious dissonant hardcore focused in intensity and all-out rage. Experimental hardcore, an album of feedback and reverb drenched punk. A storming sea full of noise, with delayed waves!
Our friends at sorry state said: I've loved this band pretty much from the beginning, but "Locker Room" just blows away their previous records with heavy, spot-on production and a complete sense of recklessness that very, very few bands are capable of capturing on record. Much like Gay Kiss and Avon Ladies, Gag at their best have this way of combining the meathead brutality of Hoax with something more dissonant, uncomfortable and exciting. Basically, what that means is that the bass player is playing a total pit-clearing riff while the guitar player(s?) just wail out with sheets of noise over the top. A simple formula, perhaps, but one that is executed to perfection here. This is the type of band you expect to see people emerging from the pit bruised and bloody after watching them. Available again for the first time in 20 years! - "Quarantine" was a short-lived band from Glasgow, Scotland and featured Brian Curran from Disaffect, Jamie Usher from Sedition and Tracey Fallon debut on Bass & Vocals. - Despite their previous more fast and hardcore inspired bands, QUARANTINE went on playing more passionated and emotional, melancholy fueled punkrock that became semi-legendary among the nineties DIY underground punkrock scene... This double LP includes their only LP "Automatic Negative Thoughts", released originally 1996 on Nabate Records (Belgium), the "Junction 10" EP and compilation tracks as well as their early demos. Also included is a zine - format interview about the band’s related stories and their present activities, as well as the lyricsheet. Music and artwork rebuilt with passion. A long forgotten classic LP, finally back in print, in an edition of 500 copies on 180-gram vinyl. Formed in the late '70s at the same high school that spawned L.A. legends T.S.O.L., Rhino 39 had an unfortunate fate. After releasing a legendary single on Dangerhouse in 1979, one of the earliest examples of L.A. hc, lead singer Dave Dacron died in a car accident in 1980. His younger brother took over lead singing duties and though it took another six years for the self-titled debut-LP to be released, it still sounds like classic early 80s L.A. punk. A legendary band with a long forgotten classic LP finally back in print on Radiation Deluxe. 180 gram vinyl. Edition of 500. (Radiation Records)

Out of stockThe combination of all their previous work and a steady live band has come together to form the great Henge Beat LP. Beautifully housed in a bright European-art-designed gatefold sleeve. These guys have outdone themselves with this one. Musically it rests somewhere between late 70's UK new wave a-la Ha Ha Ha era ULTRAVOX and the "now sound" EDDY CURRENT SUPPRESSION RING Aussie garage that we all know and love. Add a dash of hopeful Krautrock flavor and the recipe is a smashing success. We could not be happier to offer this perfect execution to you. A brief but dense dose of simply hulking intense turmoil. Subtle terminology is trite, so to get to the point: S.H.I.T., the LP, blurs by in under twenty minutes of thrashing hardcore gristle. Gone are the tell-tale training wheels of delayed vocals and endless layers of feedback, here now are the tighter louder songs we'd hoped S.H.I.T. would write. A piercing musical rallying cry for the listless and ever approaching bulldoze march of the future, wrapped in cellophane transfers of melted early hardcore and the best of the last decade's fresh take on simplicity and power. What do you Stand for? comes housed in a sleeve designed by legendary hc punk outsider and former S.H.I.T. designer, Jaybo. The intricately illustrated hellish image was produced with bleach onto a massive bedsheet, though the entire package is wrapped in a self censored outer sleeve, seemingly in the service of protecting the purchaser's dignity. Additional design by Ryan Tong. (La Vida Es Un Mus Records/ Iron Lung Records)

Out of stockWrithing, sneering, tight cornered, "Machine Response" the only acceptable follow up to the blistering and landmark "Attempted Suicide." Nearly ten years of beating around the bush, casually playing around the world and drip releasing music along the way, Career Suicide is backed by their best lineup ever, ready to break back through themselves with this new full length. Machine Response veers in and out of pure speed, bursts of melody, and chunky tempo shifts, indenting the long standing influence of early 80s USHC, late 70s punk, and a peppering of 60s swagger, with their own clearly developed style. Dallas Good (Sadies, Andre Williams, John Doe, Half Japanese, Elevator and a million more) presents a magnificently essential 2nd guitar and lead presence; a screaming contribution by great friend and long time supporter of the band, Souichi Hisatake, (Forward, GISM, Insane Youth, Gudon etc) to crack your brain up; artwork in collaboration with Ryan Tong of S.H.I.T. and Toronto's life-giving Faith/Void; and a thundering recording, once again helmed by the decorated and limitless in his pursuit of smooth hearing loss, Jon Drew, provide the most damaging clarity Career Suicide have been able to capture to date. Blitz were among the most influential punk bands ever. It was Gary Bushell (who wrote for Sounds and was later dubbed the 'Godfather of Oi!') who brought the band to the attention of his friend Chris Berry, who had just set up No Future records with a bank loan and high hopes. No Future 001 (and Blitz's debut release) was a 4-track EP titled 'All Out Attack', a 20,000-copy bestseller that made the label's fortune, later to become the most representative of the whole UK82 movement. Its follow-up, 'Never Surrender', reached number 2 on the Indie charts, while their 3rd EP, 'Warriors', showed their slight move towards the sing-a-long style of classic Oi! Recorded live at the legendary Lyceum in London in April of 1982, just after the release of their second 7" (with a few tracks from the Skunx club in Islington recorded a few weeks later) this is the band at their absolute live peak. Crucial UK OI! recorded live, the way the genre was meant to be heard, with a beer in one hand and the other with a fist in the air. Blazing and brutal and classic UK82.

Originally released in 1985, this is the sole album by Tony Cadenas' own The Abandoned, the band he formed after the Adolescents original break up in 1981. Sounding a lot like Tony's original band but with an heavier Germs influence, and a more metallic, darker, almost Motörhead-esque touch. As long as Adolescents got back on track, right before releasing their mid '80s comeback masterpiece 'Brats In Battalions' this obscure page of California punk rock history got completely forgotten and was never reopened until today. A band that really pushed the boundaries for the time while sticking to their roots, something most bands were not able to do. A must for all California punk rock maniacs out there!

Out of stockIf you are familiar with their debut "Holding Back the Night" LP you have some idea what to expect here. For those who have not heard the band, expect some powerful, genre expanding hardcore punk from a group with members in Florida, Texas, and Japan. The band is fronted by Jack Control, from the same WORLD BURNS TO DEATH and SEVERED HEAD OF STATE with Jon Weisberg from ASSHOLEPARADE, LIFECHAIN, RELIGIOUS AS FUCK, STARVATION and WORLDS providing Drumbeats and on guitars are Adler Moore (AGHAST, LIFECHAIN, HERETIC) and Souichi Hisatake (GUDON, FORWARD). This second record takes the sound they crafted on the first LP and ramps up the power, tempo, and raw punk aggression. Ten tracks of pure fucking raw/thrashing hardcore punk paying homage to POISON IDEA or G.I.S.M.! (La Familia Releases)

- 46 bands pay homage to influential guitarist MIKE ATTA of legendary hardcore band THE MIDDLE CLASS, in his battle against cancer. - CIRCLE JERKS, NOFX, GERMS, NECROS, OFF!, ADRENALIN O.D., THE FIX, REDD KROSS, VATICAN COMMANDOS, THE F.U.'S, NERVOUS GENDER, BIG BOYS, MEATMEN, WHITE FLAG, 7 SECONDS, SCREAM, NEGATIVE APPROACH, MUDHONEY and many more! - This limited edition double LP features many rare, classic & unreleased tracks, including vinyl-only exclusives! - All profits go to help Mike's battle against cancer. "When the good guys at Burger Records asked me to curate this compilation, a benefit for Middle Class guitarist Mike Atta's cancer treatments, I said yes in a heartbeat. Middle Class changed my life, and the sound of every other punk and hardcore band living in the shadow of their brilliant 1978 debut 7" EP "Out Of Vogue"; I owed this to Mike Atta. We ALL did. Middle Class, consisting of the three Atta brothers: Jeff on vocals, Bruce on drums, Mike on guitar, and their school friend Mike Patton on bass (and later Matt Simon on drums), were already turning heads in the nascent 1977 LA punk scene, as the first band from "Behind The Orange Curtain" to be accepted as genuine in the clique-laden Hollywood punk rock scene of 1977. Middle Class were the "real" deal. Respected and revered by the well earned egos of the "Hollywood Scene" punks, pale imitation groups surfaced around their original "sound", and generic "hardcore" bands appeared, while they matured and changed, leaving inspired people like Keith Morris in their happy wake encouraged to start bands themselves. When I started making calls about this benefit record, EVERY band I contacted said "yes", including bands that normally do not give songs to compilations. Barry Henssler of the Necros summed up succinctly what every band basically said when I asked if they'd participate: "That first record is crucial, of course." Bands picked classic tracks from their back catalogs, some even chose unreleased tracks or rarities, and some were so enthused they recorded new songs in no time flat. Mike Atta even came up with an unreleased outtake from the "Homeland" sessions. Mike's cancer had been in remission, but came back shortly after that reunion gig. The band has kept playing, before, after and in between some very intense cancer treatments, and hopefully will continue to do so. " Pat Fear White Flag (Munster Records)

Out of stockFollowing up on their fantastic 7-track 12” from last year, Singapore's SIAL is back with Binasa, a new 6-track 7" with a Malay title that translates to 'Perish'. Binasa sees the band pushing their cacophony of urgent and raw hardcore punk to the red. It takes cues from the likes of COMES, CONFUSE or LEBENDEN TOTEN but makes sure their ferocious sound and message doesn’t get lost in the noise. Their new release is a feast of ripping buzzsaw guitar, ferocious drumming and a vocalist spitting hate towards a racist, classist society that doesn't protect the interests of the marginalised. Recording this time around was done in their own collective studio space, Project 416 with Mastering done by Will Killingsworth and cover artwork by their drummer Izzad. Out of stockAnother Finnish HC-classic released on ROR in 1984 and never reissued before that shows impressively why so many punx love Finnish HC worldwide! Comes with the poster-inlay which contains additional photos from Puntala-rock 1983 and lyrics! On the studio-side RIISTETYT sing in English which works surprisingly fine! ATTENTION: The B-side - recorded live - contains 3 bonus-tracks compared to the original LP (but "Mieletöntä Väkivaltaa" is missing!) and most songs are different versions because RIISTETYT played two shows at Puntala in 1983! On this LP the B-side is much better than on the original LP cause RIISTETYT play here much tighter, especially Piise's basslines are incredible! Probably they have been already too drunk and wasted the other day! The sound-quality is also good! This is another Finnish HC-classic from 80ies! Licensed from Propaganda Records! (Hohnie Records)

Outstanding discography Lp from this Cult Yugoslav hardcore band. Most people know their track on Welcome to to 1984 and some have picked up the Corpus Delecti 7" re issue, this Lp contains those, plus more comp tracks, demos and out takes. Unlike a lot of barrel scraping discographies, all the material on here is top notch, even the demo and out take stuff. Really raw and aggro hardcore, sounds like a perfect mix of Discharge and Wretched. Totally excellent. (Rest In Punk Records)

Out of stockPortland post-punk act the Estranged recalls the early ’80s heyday of challenging, intelligent bands such as the Wipers, Wire, and Mission of Burma. Their album STATIC THOUGHTS thrives on the taut-muscled tension to be heard in Joy Division’s sinewy rhythms and squalls of guitar. “Don’t They Know” rides a penetrating bass line into spidery guitar webs; “Exhibition” is a moody, downbeat ripper similar to recent material from Hot Snakes. With a tightrope-walking sense of balance plus a relentless beat, the Estranged are revitalizing three-chord punk songs and discovering new-found possibilities Label: Sabotage Records

David Byrne (guitar and vocals), Tina Weymouth (bass), Chris Frantz (drums), and Jerry Harrision (keyboards and guitar) create their own unique sound on classic TH tracks like "Psycho Killer" and "Uh-Oh, Love Comes To Town." The urgency of the music heralds in the beginnings of the new wave era. Talking Heads: 77 shows a band at the forefront of a movement, unwilling to conform while making a statement with their sound. Television were part of the late-'70s punk nucleus that put New York's CBGB club on the map. Driven by Tom Verlaine's raw-nerve songwriting and both his and Richard Lloyd's guitar playing - dual strands of slashing hooks and cathartic riffs - their music is spare yet structurally complex, artistic yet unpretentious. Among rock's true innovators, Television put a new face on punk and influenced everything from New Wave to jam-rock. Adventure is the band's second album and the follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut, Marquee Moon. Four of the songs, Foxhole, Ain't That Nothing, Careful and The Dream's Dream were older compositions from the band's live set. (Rhino Records)

Out of stockRATA NEGRA from Madrid deliver twelve songs of dark, crude and moody punk on their debut LP. Formed of members from JUANITA Y LOS FEOS and LA URSS this power trio have distilled the negativity and uncertainly of the young Spanish generation and transformed it into perfectly crafted punk songs. Sharply turning snaps of daily life into melodic anthems for a doomed generation, musically RATA NEGRA fence between dark melodic OC punk a la RIKK AGNEW solo debut album and Spanish Punk ’83 via KGB/ VULPESS. Imagine the non keyboard tracks of Yugoslavian KAOS mixed with LA’S X melody, add to it a layer of distortion and a dose of vital desperation and you get close to RATA NEGRA’s sound. Widely known for their full-length record “Are These Our Lives?” TRIAL was a band who, at the time they were coming up from 1995-1998, were largely ignored and underappreciated. These were not the years of big shows and epic photographs. These were the years of five to thirty people at each show, and long drives motivated by a love of hardcore. During the mid 1990’s, there were hundreds of bands with a message and it was easy to get lost in the sea of them all, but TRIAL was one of the few who stayed true to what they had to say. On these recordings, their earliest material leading up to the recording of their LP, TRIAL formed the foundation of what was to come. These early songs are raw and forceful, each making a statement about an issue, cause, or emotion which the band felt was important to share on behalf of all listeners. As was true throughout their time together, TRIAL always had other people in mind, and these songs, infused with both a love of hardcore and a passion for social involvement, were their statement on behalf of those people everywhere. This double LP contains songs that originally appeared on their demo (1995), "Through the darkest days" 7" (1996), and "Foundation" 7" (1997), "I'm still screaming - live" 7" (1999), as well as two cover songs - one of them for a first time on vinyl. In addition, for the first time ever in print, the release contains a 28 page booklet featuring singer Greg Bennick’s tour journals from that time which document the experience of touring in the 90’s along with insight into the internal workings of the band. One of the best kept secrets of 80's California Hardcore Punk, Target of Demand hailed from Long Beach and only released this 10-track smasher on the small Happy Hermit label and a couple compilation tracks before disbanding. Due to their very short existence as a band, and the fact that they were much more influenced by Teen Idles or SS Decontrol and the sounds coming out of Boston and the Midwest, rather than what was going on in California at the time, this incredibly ripping U.S. hardcore mayhem hasn’t been reissued until now. Remastered by California punk legend Geza X, from the original analog tapes, this is 100% pure American hardcore from 1983. The Everlasting EP followed in 1994, and in 1995 Refused returned with another EP, Refused Loves Randy. After 1996’s Songs to Fan the Flames of Discontent, they issued the EP Rather Be Dead; in the wake of completing 1998’s classic The Shape of Punk to Come, Refused disbanded, unable to reconcile their anarchist leanings with a career in music. Out of stockNew edition, completely re-packaged and restyled with 2 booklets inside (30 pages)! One of the most essential discography releases in the whole history of Italian Punk, finally seeing the light after 4 years of hard strains and endless stalemates. NERORGASMO, the blackest and most sincere face of Torino's Dark/Punk nihilism in the '80s and early '90s, the true sound of urban decadence in the city that generated some of the most active and creative Punk/HC acts back in the "fuorious years" of Italian hardcore (think of NEGAZIONE, DECLINO, 5# BRACCIO etc). The CD is a complete collection of their recorded material, 39 songs, including their first legendary EP remastered from a 1st generation tape before it was pressed on vinyl (so you won't hear any old vinyl crackles), the 1993 album remastered from the studio DAT, 9 completely UNRELEASED studio tracks (1987) and a great selection of live footage 1986-1993. The DVD features their complete set live at Torino's El Paso in 1993, edited from different angles with image and sound remastered. Comes in a super-deluxe 8 panel digipak with double booklet including rare photos, lyrics and infos. Musically, this was a unique brand of blackened HC/Punk the Italian way crossed with some sinister Dark/Rock influences and the incredibly expressive vocals of Luca Abort (RIP) mixing rage with his sick sarcastic moods. Check the review on goodbadmusic.com: "Italy?s NERORGASMO (translates as ?Black Orgasm? ? wonderful!) released one of the darkest and most original sounding records of the 80s. Backwards message, weird sounds and ultra evil, CCM-like riffing, creating a sickly sweet atmosphere of lascivious cross-downturning. Just the way we love it so much! What is anarchy and subversion if there?s not some good old satanism involved." (F.O.A.D. Records)

Sealed Records release the complete remastered ICONOCLAST Discography including the immense self released 1983 Demo, The Flipside 7" from 1985 plus Two Compilation tracks. It's a small but perfectly formed discography and one that 36 years after it was first recorded still has power, intensity and rage. ICONOCLAST were part of the early 80's American peace punk scene that included CRUCIFIX, BODY COUNT, AGAINST, ANOTHER DESTRUCTIVE SYSTEM, DIATRIBE, ARMISTICE and A STATE OF MIND. Idealistic bands highly influenced by CRASS which shined amongst the heavily nihilistic California Punk scene of the era. ICONOCLAST sound was in tune with DISCHARGE, early ANTISECT or WRETCHED while lyrically the songs were political and to the point. They played benefits for animal rights, anti nuclear, anti apartheid, anti police brutality, and Big Mountain. The demo was followed by their only vinyl release on Flipside which has two ragers and the more mellow In These Times which has a touch of THE MOB and OMEGA TRIBE about it. The band had tracks on various compilations including the seminal International P.E.A.C.E. Benefit LP on R Radical in 1984 which had the cream of the crop of international hardcore punk of the heyday. Domination Or Destruction comes housed in a heavy reverse board sleeve and includes a 24 page 11”x11” booklet containing interviews, photos and flyers from the era documented, 1983-1985, which will help understanding the band ideas and the local scene of the era. Sealed Records are proud to finally reissue ICONOCLAST's catalogue, a criminally overlooked band for some but in the label’s eyes this LP is a must have for all punk households! Repeater is the full-length debut studio album by the American post-hardcore band Fugazi. It was released on April 19, 1990. Hands down the best FUGAZI record. It will have you listening to it from start to finish without it ever losing its strength. Buy this album and "13 songs" as a great introduction to FUGAZI if you don't have anything from them yet. This pressing of the LP is on BLUE Vinyl. Label: Dischord Records

Originally released in 1987, this classic album was remastered and recut and features updated graphics. Certain songs on here actually sound like they could have belonged on "can i say" but other songs show an obvious progression with Baker using Doug's different vocal style to try something different. Vinyl includes a digital download card. (Dischord Records)

Out of stockSometimes a band just builds a kind of momentum where they just produce more and more rippers and Olympia’s PHYSIQUE are clearly locked into a serious groove. ‘THE RHYTHM OF BRUTALITY’, their third 12″ in a year and a half, and released in time for their upcoming rampage across Europe, is another uncompromising slice of crasher crust ugliness, guitars hissing and squealing in anguish, searing radiation-buzz noise crudely marshalled into seven nasty hardcore salvos, from the punchy d-beat of ‘We Make Noise’ to the punishing stomp of the title track and ‘Miserable Existence’, with its propulsive rolling punk beat half-drowned in feedback filth. PHYSIQUE slam together a knack for disgusting sonics with rock solid riffs for a rawpunk record in the vein of Disaster or Fader War that will scour the paint from your walls. Comes with a big foldout poster for your bedroom wall. Label: Static Shock Records https://staticshockrecords.bandcamp.com/album/the-rhythm-of-brutality

At the end of 1982, Ian MacKaye entered the studio to record "government issue" and, in just one day, they came up with 20 tracks, most of them issued as the "boycott stabb" album. It has since been reissued on a number of different labels and formats, but after coming across the master tapes and hearing the songs that had been left off, Dischord thought it would be cool to release the complete session on a proper full-length. The vinyl was re-cut and re-mastered in 2010 and comes with a digital download card. (Dischord Records) https://governmentissue.bandcamp.com/album/boycott-stabb-complete-session

Out of stockFollow Blind belongs to the best albums Wipers has to offer, although it's a slight change in musical direction compared to their previous releases. The music is more related to the psychedelic garage rock as it sounds like the more distorted punk rock. The guitar play from Greg Sage is more prominent mixed into the sounds as a whole. It's still one of their least famous records, but it's worth more than just one spin. The Wipers were a punk rock group formed in Portland, Oregon in 1977 formed by guitarist/songwriter Greg Sage. The group's tight song structure and use of heavy distortion were hailed as very influential by many critics and musicians alike. The band is considered the first Pacific Northwest punk band. Follow Blind is available as a limited edition of 750 numbered copies on silver coloured vinyl. 180 gram audiophile vinyl. (Music On Vinyl)

Reissued again. Here's some classic d-beat tunes from a pioneering band for the d-beat swedish punk (or Käng). Discard was formed in early/mid 80's and members were involved with bands such as Mob 47 & Protest Bengt (Åke, Chrille) and Agoni (Per). They were one of the first bands that gave breath to the Discharge worship in the Swedish scene the latter years. Death from Above EP was released by Jesus Kudd records in 1990 and was much later re-released by Rodel Records and it consists of six dis-tracks coming straight outta the Discharge recordings of the "Hear nothing..." era, nothing more or less than that. Discard had also a demo tape from 1985 (where all the tracks coming from), the Four Minutes past Midnight full length and contributed tracks in Really Fast Vol 3 compilation. (7inchcrust.blogspot.cz). This 2015 reissue comes in a nice screen printed folder out sleeve. (Insane Society Records) https://insanesocietyrecords.bandcamp.com/album/discard-death-from-above-ep

Out of stockTime Flies is the awaited new record from Youth Avoiders. After an acclaimed 7 songs demo tape later repressed on 7'', after a confirmation of their talentuous songwritting skills on the split 7'' shared with Zombies are Pïssed, The ¾ parisian, ¼ german combo offers you 4 new songs. On this 45 rpm 7'' full of dynamics, you will recognise the perfect mix that is now the unique band' signature. Their music is a fresh and urgent hardcore punk, with a clean and vicious guitar sound that brings the already good riffs to a even higher level. This is accompagned by an acute and powerfull drumming, a solid and devoted bass riffing and fronted by a punchy and rasping voice. This still quite young band has quickly matured helped by the good amount of shows played in only a couple years in their hometown Paris, but also in France, Germany & England. Label: Build Me A Bomb Records, Destructure Records https://youthavoiders.bandcamp.com/album/time-flies-e-p
