  • The CHORUS formed out of frustration to the hectic and undisciplined punk scene. Taking cues from the more extreme East Coast hardcore bands mixed with their own groove and style, the CHORUS would arguably be the blueprint for the burgeoning, West Coast, militant straight-edge scene. Originally released 30 years ago on the formative Nemesis Records, Truth Gives Wings To Strength became an instant classic that has gone on to influence countless bands. Thirtieth anniversary re-press available on silver vinyl, limited to 250 copies. (Organized Crime Records)

  • Adventurous southern California punk trio Agent Orange was the first band to mix surf rock with punk. The group was formed in1l979 in Placentia, a small town close to Fullerton and Anaheim, by frontman Mike Palm on guitar and lead vocals, Steve Soto on bass and Scott Miller on drums. That early line up recorded the classic version of "Bloodstains" in 1979 as a demo produced by Daniel R. van Patten (of the group Berlin). A year later it was included on the seminal Rodney On The Roq compilation album released by Posh Boy Records. Meanwhile James Levesque had replaced Steve Soto (Adolescents) and the new line up released their own self produced and self released 7" ep in 1980. A year later, the group signed with Robbie Fields' Posh Boy Records for their debut LP Living In Darkness, co-produced by Fields and former Simpletones guitarist Jay Lansford. The album was recorded at Brian Elliott’s store front studio in North Hollywood (a few years before Elliott struck gold writing Madonna’s “Papa Don’t Preach”). REPRESSED! Their "demo" cd hit me by surprise and I really couldn't refuse to put this out! These folks come from Gothenburg in lovely Sweden and deliver the goods! The demo (minus 1 song though) that you'll find on this black piece of vinyl hold 4 times thundering death and black metal soaked doom, with hints of crust, as well as atmospheric and epic darkness. The guitars range from devastating heaviness to gloomy acoustic sections, with piercing leads that flash through the darkness every now and then. If you've ever wanted to know exactly how your favourite metal, crust, and doom bands would have sounded like if they were one band this is where you should turn. I won't namedrop anything, just ask you to take me on my word that you really need to check this out if you've been even the slightest intrigued with what's written above. Even though I could drop many influential names, as well as list several of your favourite Swedish crustcore bands in the "members of" department. (Kleister) (Skuld Records)
  • The wait was long, but now it's ready! A dignified follow-up of their first album! An intense Dolp from this dark crust band from Gothenburg. I haven't really enough words to describe this brutal yet twisted attack on my eardrums. Eight songs in just over 72 minutes(!) of death and blackmetal gloom with a healthy dose of crust punk influences leaving me speechless. The Double Lp comes in a beautiful gatefold with a foldout insert. CD version is being released in the US by Profane Existence. (Skuld Records)

  • Formed in Derbyshire, in early 1978 by vocalist Martin Roper and guitarist Dugi Bell, Anti-Pasti were one of the big names of the 1980-1982 wave of UK punk, lagging only slightly behind The Exploited, GBH, and Discharge in terms of sales and leather-jacketed endorsements. Their debut album, which reached #31 on the UK charts, was originally released on the Rondelet label in 1981. That classic LP is faithfully reproduced here on vinyl with the addition of four bonus tracks from their first single, 1980s 'Four Sore Points'. A milestone in UK political punk!

  • "We Don’t Need Them" is the second full-length record from West Virginia puns Appalachian Terror Unit. ATU have become known throughout the years as being one of the most politically charged bands in the current punk scene. This new record is an all out attack on today’s society that takes ATU to a new level of intensity both lyrically and musically. The combination of the beautiful and thought provoking gatefold cover (with art designed by Stiv of War) along with the brilliant recording and mastering job by Jay Matheson at the Jam Room take this record even further. Song subjects include the horrors of war, police brutality, destruction of the environment, rape culture, consumerism and much more. Expect a very heavy and much angrier approach from a band that has been around the block and matured their sound. Seven raging new tunes including the epic fourteen and a half minute track“We Don’t Need Them”, a song that will one day be ranked among similar greats as the SUBHUMANS “From the Cradle to the Grave” and AUS ROTTEN “And Now Back to Our Programming”. Package includes Gatefold Sleeve, Lyric Sheet + Large Poster. Digital Download Code enclosed! (Profane Existence Records)

Formed in 2009 Arctic Flowers has multiple releases under their belt. “Straight to The Hunter” is their newest full length. (Contraszt! Records)

  • AVENGERS | avengers | LP

    25.00 incl. tax
In the late '70s, The Avengers established themselves as one of the US's preeminent punk bands. Fusing incisive guitar hooks, explosive rhythms and adolescent venom, the group forged some of the most in-your-face songs of the era. Their live shows were legendary, playing up and down the West Coast and even blowing Sex Pistols off the stage at the latter's final performance. As Byron Coley writes in the liner notes, "Of the best bands of San Francisco's first wave in 1977, The Avengers were by far the coolest and youngest sounding. They roared without irony, as though this were indeed Year Zero (and, for a moment, it was) with history being overwritten by the new. The honesty of their belief was carried by their sound. And it was convincing!" Originally released in 1983, four years after the band's dissolution, The Avengers' self-titled LP is often referred to as "The Pink Album" for its magenta-hued cover design. Frontwoman Penelope Houston's iconic voice and razor-sharp lyrics resonate on anthems "We Are The One" and "The American In Me," while penetrating ballads like "Corpus Christi" reveal a truly out-of-body euphony. The Pink Album remains The Avengers' definitive statement – collecting their classic Dangerhouse EP, sessions recorded with the Pistols' Steve Jones and a half-dozen revelatory demos. While much has been written about The Avengers in the past three decades, rock critic Greil Marcus puts it succinctly, "The word I always come back to is mystical, and that remains almost theirs alone." • AXEGRINDER | satori | LP

    22.00 incl. tax
You can feel it as much as hear it: the sound of crust-punk, scabrous and bleak – a soundtrack for the slow, painful disintegration of society and perhaps even humanity itself. A jolting, icy blast of reality through the world’s shattered windows. The sound of despair turning to defiance. Formed in London in 1986, Axegrinder arrived as the ongoing post-punk melting pot began to conjure ever-heavier new hybrid strains of the hardcore punk and underground metal scenes that were still only a few years old. Following in the groundbreaking footsteps of peers like Amebix and Sacrilege, the band swiftly established themselves as one of the most musically adventurous and hair-raisingly intense bands the UK had to offer. Renowned as an explosive live band, whether playing in a rot-infested squat or venturing into bigger, shinier venues, Axegrinder cemented their burgeoning reputation with their monstrous debut album The Rise Of The Serpent Men. The follow-up to a trio of widely hailed demos, it was released in 1989 via legendary British metal imprint Peaceville Records and was heralded as an underground classic. A brave, belligerent album that aggressively filtered Killing Joke’s pulsing nihilism through a prism of post-thrash grinding power, it was years ahead of its time. Unfortunately, the first chapter of the Axegrinder story came to an abrupt halt not long after the release of ...Serpent Men. After years of hard slog around the squats and pubs of the UK, both guitarist Steve Alton and vocalist Trev found themselves becoming increasingly disillusioned with the scene that they had helped to forge. Newly signed to Rise Above Records, Axegrinder will release Satori into a world that seems every bit as fucked up and bleak as the one they angrily assailed first time round. In reality, the anti-authoritarian message that burned at the heart of the crust-punk scene three decades ago has never lost its relevance or its power. From the crushing, slow-burn assault of Halo (Snakes For The Breeding) to the warped, nihilistic balladry of epic closer Too Far From Home, this is music that screams its righteous fury and creative clout from the rooftops. (Rise Above Records)
  • The Empire Strikes First... 14 songs that are fresh, focused, and absolutely alive in the way that great rock 'n' roll energizes everything it touches. It's been a long road from their early-80s beginnings, but these days, the primary concerns of Graffin and Gurewitz are not the band's intricate (and subtle) years-long evolution; they're first and foremost topical songwriters focused on domestic chaos and its global manifestation. Bad Religion is, after all, the outfit that, during the first Gulf War in 1991, shared a Maximum Rock 'n' Roll split seven-inch with radical MIT professor Noam Chomsky, who, like them, is locked into the tense present and dedicated to exposing the forces who lie and disguise to deepen and enforce human misery. The truth is that after 20+ years, Bad Religion meet the present day not only unfettered by nostalgia, but hardwired into the moment. Fans take the band's growth and standards for granted. It's tempting to say-- though impossible to prove-- that the The Empire Strikes First is a such a terrific album because vocalist Graffin and guitarist Gurewitz, the band's most important creative forces, are responding to the death, desolation, and destruction of war, and to the concurrent attacks on the Bill of Rights; it seems more than just a happy accident that the band has just delivered one of its most charged and inspired records in years. (Epitaph Records)
  • Punk rock Pioneers Bad Religion have released their sixteenth studio album on Epitaph Records. The new album, already a favorite among fans, has been greeted with worldwide critical acclaim and praise. Produced by the band and Joe Barresi, True North celebrates the power of cogent punk in the face of personal pain and adversity. On the new album, the storied band deliberately revisits and refines the powerful and melodic Southern California sound they helped to define. “We went back to our original mission statement of short concise bursts of melody and message,” co-songwriter and guitarist Brett Gurewitz explains. “The intent was to record stripped down punk songs without sacrificing any conceptual density. • BAD TRIP | same title | LP

(Self Released)

  • Un Último Ultrasonido Nació Y Murió En Barcelona is Barcelona’s sophomore 12” of pure sonic nihilism. A band of highs and lows. High concept as performance and low brow as execution. In my eyes Barcelona is simply a genius project, capable of create their own universe and vomit all over it. Their formula of distortion to the max, total free-ness and improvisation with regurgitated bass lines and repetitive primitive beats topped with the sharpest and nastiest lyrics as observation of our own futility and misery. In their own universe you can find Hermann Nitsch, or the entire catalogue of ESP Disks hanging out with Manolo Kabezabolo and Eskorbuto. Probably without them being aware of it. All of the above is what you’ll find in the 13 songs on this disturbing record wrapped around again in artwork but the last artist on earth Oriol Roca. (La Vida Es Un Mus Records)
  • The split kicks off with the very strange yet incredibly interesting Bastard Noise side of things, whose music is basically a mishmash of powerviolence, noisecore, ambient and electronic music. It’s definitely unique as far as most bands go and this split incorporates all of the above in 4 tracks of brutal noise. It’s mid paced and has a lot of tempo changes and different music elements and it’s not what you’d expect, which is never a bad thing. I full enjoyed this side of the split. Moving on to the B-side of the split, Lack of Interest has always tickled my fancy with their fast, filthy and crushing music with a classic feel. It’s all or nothing with these guys and it blasts you to fuck from the word go. It’s most definitely powerviolence done right and it fucking rips into you without any remorse. The songs have a strong misanthropic theme, which tie into drugs and inner-city issues, much like Despise You. It rips to shit and has that old school hardcore sound to it, which definitely reminds me of years past. I would highly recommend this split to fans of Despise You, Man is the Bastard, Infest, Neanderthal, Siege and Spazz. (Deep Six Records)

Lungs, the first Big Black release was recorded by Steve on a borrowed 4-track. He played everything on the EP himself - except the sax bleating courtesy of pal John Bohnen and the drums courtesy of Roland. Soon after, Steve recruited Jeff Pezzati (Naked Raygun) on bass, and Santiago Durango (also Naked Raygun) joined them on guitar. In 1983, together with live drummer Pat Byrne, they recorded the Bulldozer EP. By 1984, the band had done some touring and recorded the Racer X EP and the start of the Il Duce 7”. After that, Jeff returned to Naked Raygun and was replaced by Dave Riley. In 1985, Big Black recorded their first full-length, Atomizer, as well as finishing the Il Duce 7”. Atomizer was released in 1986 along with the release of the Hammer Party compilation CD. In 1987, the Headache EP and Heartbeat 7” were released. • BLACK FLAG | my war | LP

    16.00 incl. tax
With My War, the true Henry Rollins era of Black Flag begins. He was brought in to sing Greg Ginn’s songs for Damaged and with My War became a fully integrated member of the band, nudging the band towards slower tempos that emphasized their atonal freakouts. This slide towards MC5, free-jazz bust-outs put them at odds with punk rock’s insistence on short, fast rules. But it made the group a distinctive entity at a time when most hardcore punk bands were passing in a blur. Only the title track ever gained true notoriety, but tracks such as “Can’t Decide,” “Three Nights” and the eternal trudge of “Scream” make the case for Greg Ginn as one of the era’s most important guitar players. His solos are off the wall, while his riffage brings back the ghosts of early Black Sabbath at a time when Sabbath was fading from view. Rollins’ throaty, guttural vocal stabs recast the band as a formidable live outfit whose concerts were true endurance tests for all involved. (EU-SST Records/Unofficial Release)

  • Limited Black & White 'Quad' (ie. quartered) vinyl reissue of the classic debut studio album by Broken Bones, the ex-Discharge speed-metal punk band, who influenced Metallica and an army of other hard-core punk bands.
Broken Bones were formed in 1983 by the Discharge twin brothers of Bones (guitar) and Tezz (bass) and were joined by Baz (drums) and Nobby (vocals). From the 'Potteries' area, Stoke-On-Trent, they first produced two singles, Decapitated and Crucifix, followed by this album 'Dem Bones' – all fast and furious anthems and UK indie chart Top 10 entries.
The album, originally released in 1984, was produced by Clay Records' Mike Stone who had also produced Discharge. Along the way, band membership developed, but always featuring the distinctive guitar of Bones. Tezz later went to the USA, where he played with UK Subs, Ministry, and many others. Both brothers are currently in a reformed Discharge. (Fall Out Records)
  • Founder member and legendary guitarist Bones as always maintained there "Trader in Death" album was BROKEN BONES best album to date, until now...... They are one of only a handful of bands that sound more ferocious today than they did on their early classic release's, which all went on to influence generations. To this day BROKEN BONES are hailed as one of the best and important hardcore/punk bands in the last 25 years. From the first to the last song the whole album grips you like a vice and doesn't let go until the last track has ended. A pulse pounding thriller with plenty of political kick, "Fuck you and all you stand for" is a gripping hardcore driven ride with pounding drums, driving bass, searing guitars with the unmistakable classic BROKEN BONES solos, topped off with venomous spitting vocals which cover lyrically, all types of political and social extremities. • Câmbio Negro, is a seminal Hardcore Punk band from Recife - Brasil, formed in 1983 they were one of the first bands playing that kind of music on the North East of the country and the first on that region to release an album. "Ecos do 3° Mundo" was previously released as a demo tape in 1989, and is considered by many their best stuff, brutal, raw, energetic Hardcore. PunkVortex records has unearthed the original recording, restored, remastered and released it on vinyl. The original artwork has been also revamped! Taking into consideration that the songs were stored on cassete tape for decades and obviously lost a bit of quality, thefinal result is great! • Don’t be ashamed of your “record collection” you can now upgrade your possessions of early austrian punk rock with the purchase of this essential album. We did not spare any expense or effort to present you this groundbreaking masterpiece, the first recordings of the first punk band from Vienna, Austria: CHUZPE. This aint no shabby thing here, no bootleg pressing of practice room tapes that spent decades under someones filthy mattress. No wrong liner notes, no thin paper sleeve… sorry. This is just what this band deserves. Eric Brady took the audio and did some wizardry, Robert Wolf himself took care of all artwork, Al Bird Dirt – impresario extraordinaire – was responsible for the liner notes, and all of this is now housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve. This is a limited edition of 500 copies. (Bachelor Records)

  • In 2009, Coliseum released their "True Quiet / Last Wave" 7"EP on Deathwish. Featuring artwork by friend John Dyer Baizley (Baroness, Kylesa, Cursed), "True Quiet / Last Wave" gave us the first taste of Coliseum's evolution since 2007's "No Salvation" album. The hook laden A Side "True Quiet" takes hold with its all too familiar story of self imposed isolation, told to a D.C. influenced metallic jangle. While the percussively driven B Side "Last Wave" serves as a hair raising commentary on the ethical & economical darkness of our present day. Track Listing: 01. True Quiet 02. Last Wave (Deathwish Records)

  • 'The Feeding Of The 5000' is the first album by the anarcho-punk band Crass. The album was recorded on 29 October 1978, by John Loder at Southern Studios and was released the same year. It was considered revolutionary in its time due to what was considered an extreme sound, frequently profane lyrical content and the anarchist political ideals in the lyrics. The album is considered one of the first punk albums to expound serious anarchist philosophies. Crass helped reinitiate the influence of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament and the wider peace campaign in the UK with the songs like 'They've Got A Bomb', 'Fight War Not Wars' and the adoption of the CND symbol at their live concerts. 'They've Got A Bomb' also has a period of silence within it, inspired by John Cage's '4'33'. The band have acknowledged the influence of Cage, and said that the idea of the space in the song, when performed live, was to suddenly stop the energy, dancing and noise and allow the audience to momentarily "confront themselves" and consider the reality of nuclear war. (Crass Records)

Children Of Finland Fighting In Norway aka C.O.F.F.I.N is an Australian punk band who have accepted the mental of their nation’s long legacy of greasy-haired, outback-scrounging, garage rock rumblers, blowing out eardrums and amps one stage at a time, while chiseling their name below those of Radio Birdman and The Hard-Ons in petrol station bathroom stalls across New South Wales and beyond. C.O.F.F.I.N’s were planning on taking their sweaty, slug-trailed tunes and cracked cavalcade on the road this year, hell-bent on mopping up the USA while on tour with Amyl and the Sniffers, but due to COVID, those plans had to take a short dirt nap. The record they were planning to tour on is out though, and it is a bar-none, bar-room crashing, banger! The latest self-titled album from C.O.F.F.I.N’s is their fourth LP overall and retains a lot of the attitude from their previous releases. It unleashes a raging rip of rock fury that blazes like a wildfire, kept alive and deadly by the bellow-like thump and growl of drummer and vocalist Ben Portnoy whirlwind conjuring percussion and libido-pumping leads and grooves of the band’s three guitarists, Abijah Rado, Arthur Flanders, and Aaron Moss. Not unsurprisingly, C.O.F.F.I.N shares a lot in common stylistically with angst-primed, countryfied garage of groups like The Murder Junkies. To that point, they’ll often close out sets with a GG Allin song and the original cover of their 2018 Piss~Up depicted the band peeing into their own mouths (and the alternative cover isn’t much better). But it’s on matters of ethics and principals, rather than style and image, where the C.O.F.F.I.N diverges from many of their influences. What may appears on the outside like a bunch of boys having a gay old-time while playing recklessly loud and loose rock ‘n roll, is in reality a layered experience of conscientiousness and social engagement (in addition to a bunch of guys messing around and making a god damned racket!). Case in point, C.O.F.F.I.N’s track “Dead Land,” which takes up the issues of environmental degradation, the encroachment development on wildlife habitats, and the devastating impacts of global warming, all with the fires that nearly consumed their native country this past year, billowing at the top of mind, with its lusty appetite for destruction in the foreground. If the land dies, it will be humanity’s fault, and presently we as a species show no signs of abating our march towards a fallow Earth. Socials issues are of great concern to the band as well. In interviews, Portnoy and other band members will speak candidly about the need to confront homophobia and end racism in Australia and around the world. C.O.F.F.I.N may take the piss (literally) when it comes to themselves and their music, but when it comes to the subject matter of their songs, they clearly intend to inspire reflection and action, as much, or more, than simply a rowdy, good time. As guitarist Abijah Rado told Monster Children back in July, “Now is a time that, through collective unity, people’s voices are finally being heard and acknowledged. The whole system needs to change and that will never happen overnight, but it’s good to see that the ball has started rolling towards implementing these necessary adjustments.” (Erste Theke Records)

This is it! The godfather of hardcore from DOA, Canada's legendary punk pioneers. This is the album that popularized and pushed the term HARDCORE into the common vernacular. The second full-length from Vancouver’s beloved hardcore punk forefathers. Joey Shithead teamed up with Chuck Biscuits (before he jumped ship into Black Flag) letting rip with their trademark gruff-vocaled politicised punk attitude, taking their que from the Clash, Who and The Damned and taking it up to another level of aggression and hard-edged raucousness. 2018 Remastered Version. The first of Bowie's legendary Berlin trilogy and the one that broke the most ground. It also caused so much consternation in the NME offices that they ran two reviews, one praising it to the skies, the other bewildered by Bowie's move towards the chilly electronic sounds that bore the influence of krautrock, particularly that of Kraftwerk and Neu! Collaborating with Brian Eno and produced by the genius Tony Digitally remastered edition. Heroes is the twelfth studio album by the iconic singer/songwriter, originally released on RCA Records in October 1977. The second installment of his Berlin Trilogy recorded with Brian Eno and Tony Visconti, Heroes continued the ambient experiments of Bowie's previous album Low (released earlier that year) and featured the contributions of King Crimson guitarist Robert Fripp. Of the three albums, it was the only one wholly recorded in Berlin. Recorded at Hansa Tonstudio in what was then West Berlin, Heroes reflected the zeitgeist of the Cold War, symbolized by the divided city. Co-producer Tony Visconti considered it "one of my last great adventures in making albums. (Parlophone Records)

Collaborating with Brian Eno and produced by the genius Tony Visconti, Low is an album of two distinct halves. Side one ( in old money) is full of quirky oddball pop vignettes, the highlight being the incredible Sound and Vision, a hit for Bowie in 1977. Side two was the side which upset some people, four long icy instrumentals evoking the spirit of the city of Berlin, split into two halves by the wall, and the mood of the eastern bloc in general (see Warszawa). Now, of course, these tracks are seen as a blueprint for much that was to come over the following decade, and even furter, but at the time, it so so surprising and so groundbreaking that many didn't know what to make of it. • The first two editions of this English-language documentation (published under the title "Dead Moon - The Book") are now being traded at horrific prices - Ventil Verlag is now making the pure book version accessible to the European public at a cheaper price. Dead Moon was a lo-fi garage / rock-and-roll band from Portland, Oregon from 1987 to 2006. The band achieved a legendary and cult status. She produced her own records and ran her own music store and the Tombstone Music label of the same name. Their story is unique in the halls of rock music - a band that never betrayed their ideals, never gave up, and left behind an artistic and community heritage that is still unparalleled today. In the interview format, the book tells the Dead Moon saga in the band's own words. It contains a fully illustrated discography, lyrics and countless photos, flyers, posters and letters from the archive of Fred and Toody Cole. Hardcover with 320 pages. Treat yourselves!
  • DEATH's legendary 1987 debut Scream Bloody Gore is more than just an untouchable album - upon its release, it was positively genre-creating. Scream Bloody Gore founded the quintessential death metal sound, with more tormented riffs, screams, and leads than the world had ever imagined, and established Chuck Schuldiner's inimitable phrasing and songwriting style as the most singular voice in the burgeoning genre. Today, the album is viewed unanimously as one of the all-time most important cornerstones of death metal. As the final chapter in Relapse's comprehensive DEATH reissue series, Scream Bloody Gore will now receive the deluxe reissue treatment on a wide variety of formats including 2CD, Limited Edition 3CD, LP, Deluxe 2xLP Boxset, and cassette versions. Like the preceding DEATH reissues, the deluxe reissue of Scream Bloody Gore has been meticulously remastered from the original tapes by Alan Douches (Death, Mastodon, Nile) and includes a plethora of bonus content, including previously unreleased recordings and rehearsal demos, super-expanded packaging, and brand-new extensive liner notes from former DEATH drummer / Autopsy founder Chris Reifert, Sepultura's Max Cavalera, and original Scream Bloody Gore producer Randy Burns. • A final repress of the mid ninties classic Skuld release of Portland's DETESTATION. An absolutel classic of nineties anarcho-hardcore punk that sounds like a mix between Nausea & Sacrilege with some influences from old Swedish bands and highly angry socio-political lyrics. Existing between roughly 1995—1998 or so, Detestation was a rather surprisingly prolific group during that time. This repress of the band's 1998 self-titled LP collects some of their finest material. Though the mandatorily interconnected Portland lineup contains pre-/post- ties to Defiance, Masskontroll, Resist, Hellshock, and Severed Head of State, among others, Detestation's rather commonplace brand of 90's crust punk remains a well rooted benchmark for the scene, and with good reason. Thanks in no small part to some scorching female vocals with great vocal arrangements, the band's lightly metallic power chords tended to be a little tighter and more memorable than most, thus Detestation is rightfully remembered as one of the finest of the genre. (Original txt Aversion Online) Includes Lyric Sheet and large Poster. (Skuld Records / Profane Existence /Consensus Reality‎)
  • Hyperactive Ramones-influenced cartoon punk rock from Los Angeles, 1979. One debut LP that made the history in the genre. Frantically fast and short versions of Black Sabbath's 'Paranoid', " the Monkees' "She," and Barry McGuire's "Eve of Destruction" along with a few unforgettable hits like 'You Make Me Ape (You Big Gorilla)' and 'Give It Back'. A must for all California Punk completists! (Survival Research Records)
  • The entire discography of this shortlived but influential early nineties anarcho punk band from Glasgow, Scotland. This is fast-paced and shredding anarcho punk with little excursions into the crust-punk genre here and there. Dual fe/male vocals and alot of (sadly still) lyrical topics of todays society. DISAFFECT releases most their material via NABATE RECORDS from Belgium as well as FLAT EARTH RECORDS from the UK. Both labels were pioneering the nineties DIY punk wave alot with bands like ONE BY ONE, HIATUS, SEDITION, UNHINGED etc etc. DISAFFECT stopped playing in 1994 and members moved on to other projects such as SCATHA and QUARANTINE. In 2019 the band reformed with a new rhythm section to play occassionally the one or the other festival. The DISAFFECT discography includes the "An Injury To One..." 7" EP from 1992, the split 7" with SEDITION from 1993, the "Home Of The Brave" 7"EP from 1993 (reissued 3 times!) and their 1994 released debut LP "Chained To Morality" as well as the ultra rare split 7" with BIZARRE UPROAR also from 1994. As a bonus you will find the best tracks of the 1991 "Demotape" with the missing tracks available as download. Housed in a beatifully crafted Gatefold-sleeve with additional 16 pages booklet including lyrics and linernotes. THIS PRESSING IS LIMITED TO 550 COPIES (Ruin nation Records) https://ruinnationrecords.bandcamp.com/album/still-chained-discography

Finally a re-release of this classic album. Adding ENTOMBED guitarist Uffe Cederlund to a group that already features AT THE GATES singer Tomas Lindberg has created a death 'n' roll supergroup - and one of the best heavy records of 2008. For those who are unfamiliar with DISFEAR, it is basically a mix of a lot of hardcore with a lot of metal to create a product that is simply loud, in your face and unrelenting. "live the storm" is a 35min. assault of heavy power chords, pounding drums and bass, layered with southern sounding leads and throat wrenching yells. (La Familia Releases)
  • Disgust was a relatively short lived D-beat metal outfit that released two albums in the 90's through the Earache and Nuclear Blast labels. Their songs displayed extreme anti-war views and their artwork was often highly graphic photographs of war, massacres or the destitute effects of poverty. There's no doubt that the band was firing on all cylinders here, the twelve original tracks recorded for A World Of No Beauty are executed at absolutely breakneck speed, and the band's performance as a whole is remarkably spirited. (Westworld Records)
  • DMZ | same title | LP

    21.00 incl. tax
Originally released in 1978 on Sire Records, DMZ's first and only album never really fit into the punk/new-wave mold that was forced upon it. These five shaggy haired dudes from Boston were more interested in the Sonics than the Sex Pistols and their goal, as stated by front man Jeff 'Mono Man' Conolly was 'fusing the sound of the Chocolate Watchband and The Stooges.' Produced by Flo & Eddie, of The Turtles' fame, this album was much maligned at the time but has come to be accepted as a classic record that helped jump start the ongoing garage-rock revival that began in the '80s. In fact, Mono Man, upon the breakup of DMZ, founded the group Lyres in 1979, a legendary garage-rock band that carry on to this day. On 180 gram vinyl. (4 Men With Bears Records)

    15.00 incl. tax
EX. TOTEM SKIN!!! Dödsrit is a project created by Christoffer Öster from TOTEM SKIN. Dödsrit tries to blend atmospheric black metal with the rawness from crust. The writing for Dödsrit started right after Totem Skin had recorded their last album "Weltschmerz" . And was conducted for almost two years before it saw the light of the day. Dödsritt shivering melodies were created in the deep forests in the outskirts of Borlänge, Sweden. Conducted by Christoffer Öster from Totem Skin who poured every drop of passion he could harvest from the bottom of his heart. "this same titeled LP is the band’s 1st full-length. The soundscape of the album ranges from raw aggression to doomy heaviness and unsettling guitar melodies. The vocals create an honest and desperate atmosphere, the vocalists screaming themes of nature and problems in life. Intense grinding shares space with quiet and reverent moments, but the sonic landscape is always filled with emotion. • The return of the classic Demonstration Tapes double LP on vinyl from the one and only Dolly Mixture. Originally self released in 1984 – this 27 track set collects the band’s demos from 1979 to 1983 of perfectly executed pop, indie pop and ’60s girl group gems. The sound is raw but the charm and pure-pop songcraft manages to shine through. Original copies sell for silly money and even the Germs of Youth reissue sells for over £100. This reissue comes with a brand new sleeve design. (Spa Green Records)
