Out of stock1919 are a post-punk band formed in Bradford, England in early 1980. Reissued on vinyl for the very first time since its initial release , the classic 1983 album gets a re-master from the band themself's. The Machine LP was heavily inspired by Conrad’s Heart of Darkness, and the theme of alienation is prominent in the band’s oeuvre. If you are a huge fan of deathrock or dark punk--you have to own this--you won't be disappointed! (Restless Empire Records)

Their first and "lost" studio album from 1988 year. First time on vinyl. Cold wave/post punk with a little bit Swans influence. 1984 is a legend of Polish new wave / cold wave / punk rock scene. In the 1980s the band used its biting, punk-style irony to depict the totalitarian reality of Polish People’s Republic in its final years, and it was an excellent example of the strength inherent in Polish punk rock / new wave of those times. Besides, if I may put a personal note here – they were one of the most important features in the soundtrack for my punk childhood. Towards the end of the 1980s they seemingly gave up their political image for a more iconoclastic or artistic vision. In a more or less active way, the band has continued for all these years. Throughout the 1980s, despite the numerous recording sessions they managed to release only one 7” and one song on a compilation. It wasn’t until 25 years later that some of the band’s archival sessions saw the light of day, including their demo entitled Why not? (1987), and their iconic album Specjalny rodzaj kontrastu [Special kind of contrast] (1988) (Pasazer Records)

Another heavyweight of the English scene released on Dirty Punk Records and certainly one of the best known and best Oi! bands ever. Formed in 1979, THE 4 SKINS have released a lot of songs on compilations that have marked the history of Oi! music like "Oi!" the album", "Strength Thru Oi! "Carry on Oi!" »... as well as some cult 7''s. By adding a few rare titles, we were able to release this double album bringing together the best of the band. Everything is there and everything is essential. No extensions with dirty sounding lives or bad rehearsals in a garage, here is gathered all the best of the 4 SKINS. All in a superb gatefold sleeve with beautiful and rare photos of the band and a history of the songs written by Mark Brennan. A wonder to hold in your hands. 'The Good, The Bad & The 4-Skins' is the debut LP - originally released on Secret Records in 1982 - from East End Oi! legends The 4-Skins. Recorded with the first stable line-up after numerous changes, fronted by legendary vocalist Panther (who stepped in after the original singer Gary Hodges' defection), this is violent, political, and as real as Oi! gets, this is one of the absolute classic LPs of the genre. Featuring studio recordings on Side A and amped up live versions of such OI! classics as 'A.C.A.B' or 'Chaos' on Side B. (Radiation Records)

Out of stockFormed from putrefying remnants of The Germs, The Consumers, The Bags, The Gun Club, and The Screamers among other L.A. punk outfits, 45 Grave were arguably the first American Goth/deathrock band and inarguably one of the best. Fronted by the Exene-meets-Barbarella vocal and visual stylings of Dinah Cancer (still one of the greatest stage names in a punk rock genre full of ‘em), 45 Grave also featured Paul B. Cutler on guitar, Don Bolles on drums, Rob (Ritter) Graves on bass, and Paul Roessler on keyboards, and from that all-star line-up came 1983’s Sleep in Safety, their lone studio release and only recording with the band’s original members. Probably most famous for the first appearance of the horrifyingly graphic, true-crime track “Partytime,” the single version of which was subsequently cut in 1985 and featured on The Return of the Living Dead soundtrack, Sleep in Safety also offered the early MTV track “Evil” and the band “theme song” “45 Grave” among other blandishments for those who like their rock and roll with a side of the macabre. For our Real Gone Music exhumation of this classic record, we have “embalmed” a very special edition, preserving the original album’s gatefold edition complete with lyrics and adding a custom inner sleeve drawn from the band’s very rare “A Tale of Strange Phenomena” press release—purple with black streaks vinyl! Folks have been dying for this one! Side One 1. INSURANCE FROM GOD 2. EVIL 3. PARTYTIME 4. DREAM HITS II 5. SLICE O’ LIFE Side Two 1. 45 GRAVE 2. PHANTOMS 3. VIOLENT WORLD 4. BAD LOVE 5. SURF BAT 6. Time for another prime dose of potent, chorus-drenched anarcho-punk from one of its finest modern exponents: A Culture Of Killing return with their third album, bigger and bolder than before with a foreboding sense of deathrock gloom dialed all the way up beyond 11. Their usual array of nods are all present and correct (The Mob, Zounds, The Cure), but this time everything feels… grander? More fully realised? Impressive, given their first two albums have been hoovered up and hailed by those in the know, but maybe we should banish any lingering doubts that the mysterious Italian band might be moving beyond merely echoing the classics and closer to creating a new benchmark for the genre. Look, all of this is a very fancy way of saying that ACOK are pretty fucking great and no one else can touch ‘em right now when it comes to this sort of goth-tinged post-punk. New instrumentation, new ways of relating to each other as a band, new ways of grabbing your attention as a listener and making you want to press the record grooves into your brain and use your nerve endings as a stylus. From new wave-styled Burundi beats and furious call-and-response vocals to dubbed-out grooves, there are new influences that are more than welcome in the band’s sound, but the songs themselves are their finest thus far (‘2 Years’ and ‘The Last Train Home’ are simply magical). It says a lot about this LP that it’ll hold its own with the output of both Crass Records and 4AD; it’s a strong step forward that’ll win ‘em new fans and embolden existing ones to say things like ‘best band in the world right now’ and ‘sell your home to buy a copy if you have to’. Especially if you don’t technically own your home. You get the idea. Is there a Crass-shaped hole in your life that’s been empty since you wore out your copy of ‘Penis Envy’? An itch that only the purest of peace punk can scratch? This is the record for you. I don’t use the word ‘essential’ much but… oh, well, I’ve given the game away there, haven’t I? Get it, get it now. Packed with first-hand stories and unpolished nuggets, this hefty but very-readable book plots a path through UKHC in the ‘90s as it developed into an underground scene. Focusing on the people; artists, promoters, venues, record labels and fanzines, and following the evolution of the author’s bands, it looks at the intricacies of the post-punk genre and bursts with ‘straight from the horse’s mouth’ hardcore anecdotes that’ll keep you turning the pages. You’ll read about touring and gigs with hundreds of bands, including Green Day, NOFX, Alice Donut, Jailcell Recipes, The BBMFs, Majority Of One, Spermbirds, The Babies Three, Understand, Samiam, Down By Law, Alloy, Hot Water Music, Bob Tilton, Tribute, Discount, Blue Tip, Leiah, Leatherface, Spy Versus Spy, Hunter Gatherer, Dismemberment Plan, Burning Airlines, Piebald and many more. If you were ever in a band, then you’ll recognise and empathise with much of the narrative. And if you’ve wondered what it would be like to tour and release records at the underdog end of the alternative music scene, then this book will take you on an invigorating and enlightening roller-coaster ride. “ ‘A Hardcore Heart’ is an invigorating time capsule, of a period before Instagram, Facebook and MySpace, even before mobile phones, sat navs and Google Maps. It wasn’t easy (nothing worth doing ever is) but we somehow made things happen; we stubbornly battered our dreams into reality and bullishly ignored anyone that told us it couldn’t be done. It was a truly inspirational time, when it seemed anything was possible, and a two-bit hardcore band from a leafy town in Kent could share stages and records with the best the world’s hardcore punk scene had to offer.” Ian Glasper, Author of ‘The Scene That Would Not Die’ “There have been hundreds of books, films and documentaries about punk rock, it’s initial explosion and the impact it had. They all have their merits, but all seem to think it all stopped in 1979. While a lot of the old guard moved on, punk didn’t die, it moved underground and became more pure, more political and much more relevant to a new generation. While those early bands talked the talk, these new kids were walking the walk, punk was now a lifestyle. Like a lot of us, David found himself immersed in this lifestyle, and spells out how he got involved, how it all worked and why it was so intoxicating.” Tony Whatley, Editor of Suspect Device fanzine "A Hardcore Heart is a comprehensive collection of stories narrated by David Gamage, a hardcore punk veteran who shares insights into the '90s UK scene in a brilliant, descriptive, and entertaining way. This book will hold your attention until the last pages and hopefully inspire you to start a band, zine, or record label.” Djordje Miladinovic, Editor of Thoughts Words Action blog The first edition limited printing is 662 pages with colour images and is shipping now. #ahardcoreheart #UKHC #punk #books #DIY #alternative #scene #CouchPotatoes #Joeyfat #Rydell #venues #promoters #fanzines #bands #MVT #MusicVenueTrust Format Paperback | 662 pages Dimensions 156.00 x 234.00 x 55.00mm | 1,300 gr Publication date November 2022 Publisher Earth Island Books Language English

Out of stockDeath is raining upon us. Once again the banality of evil is plowing through lives and land. It comes in the shape of man, a mushroom cloud in trousers. What was first an artistic experiment, investigating childhood fears. The dark cloud on the horizon. Looming over us always. Became reality. These six tracks are instruments of terror. Focusing on the inhuman barbarism of humanity. Deafening, blinding, four minute-warnings of heavy electronic mayhem. Programming the synths like Stalin’s organ. Causing radiation sickness. Sonic assault of the mind and body. Hear the siren songs. Sex on red alert. Beware and behave. The Road to Nuclear Holocaust has never been closer. Devastating zynth-slaughter debut LP by Sweden Ä.I.D.S. Six tracks of deafening, blinding, four minute-warnings of heavy electronic mayhem. I celebrate all humans that stand with me against the oppression of the masses anywhere in the world! When I look at the state of the world, I can’t believe how fucked up it is. Originally released in 1985, this is the sole album by Tony Cadenas' own The Abandoned, the band he formed after the Adolescents original break up in 1981. Sounding a lot like Tony's original band but with an heavier Germs influence, and a more metallic, darker, almost Motörhead-esque touch. As long as Adolescents got back on track, right before releasing their mid '80s comeback masterpiece 'Brats In Battalions' this obscure page of California punk rock history got completely forgotten and was never reopened until today. A band that really pushed the boundaries for the time while sticking to their roots, something most bands were not able to do. A must for all California punk rock maniacs out there!

“Pezzi di vetro schizzi di sangue” (translated: pieces of glass, splatters of blood) is the definitive book on Luca Abort, singer of BLUE VOMIT, NERORGASMO, IFIX TCEN TCEN, collecting all his stunning drawings, paintings, graffiti, comics, band photos.. A maniacal collection of images, the result of a project developed over 10 years about one of the most nihilistic and emblematic characters of the Italian punk scene between the 1980s and 1990s, passed away too young following his omen “I’ll exalt myself with the most sublime death”.. A personality of great intelligence, surly and provocative, Luca has created an enormous amount of drawings, paintings, graffiti, tables, record covers, flyers and other graphic artworks. This book collects them meticulously: almost 300 full colored color pages disclosing a huge amount of never seen before material (taken from Luca’s personal archives made available to his mother’s courtesy) also including rare photos and detailed discographies of BLUE VOMIT, NERORGASMO and IFIX TCEN TCEN. This book is almost completely devoid of written parts except for a brief preface and afterword in Italian, it’s all focused on the pictures, so even if you don’t understand Italian you will be fully satisfied. Regular soft cover version limited to 350 copies. Label: F.O.A.D. Records

Out of stockBack on wax! 'Dirty deeds..' demented ac/dc's position as the premier dirty hard rock to ever have stomped the earth. Out of stockBrian Johnson's second album as ac/dc's frontman, and as such helped them create a phenomenal commercial success, with both singles, 'let's get it up' and the title track, charting on both sides of the atlantic. The album went on to sell over a million copies world-wide and the title track became an immediate live favourite, complete with a cannon-fire salute stage show that became instant encore material. Elsewhere, their familiar rattle remained intact, with 'night of the long knives' and 'breaking the rules' forging a familiar piece of metal. Out of stock'High voltage' was the first chance america had to glimpse the raw power of Australia's best hard rock outfit. From their earliest days, lead guitarist angus young, a spastic dwarf-like riff-monger who wore nothing but traditional schoolboy attire, led this band of hooligans with gleeful perversity and balls-out ambition. The group's intent is perfectly clear from the disc's opening power chords: to distill rock and mutate the blues down to its barest essentials in a pulverizing whomp. Riding over the top of the battering rhythm section is the all-too-true sneer of vocalist bon scott, who brings sexist anthems to a previously unachieved high (or low, depending on your reference point). Issued in a single sleeve with colour printed inner sleeve with liner notes, images and credits. (Columbia/Albert Productions/Sony Music/2009)

The hard rock world got a close-up view of the power of ac/dc with the band's first live offering, if you want blood, you've got it. Although the Australian rockers had three prior studio releases of undeniable crunch under their belt, it was this live document that captured the band in all its' chomping power chord glory. distilling the blues and rock 'n' roll down to its barest structures of guitar/bass/drums leaves little room for error. Without heavy production techniques, keyboards, tape loops (or even an effect pedal, for that matter), the band takes to the stage with only bare-knuckle riffs and a floor shaking 4/4 beat. and shake the floor they did. Printed laminated inner sleeve with images and liner notes. All tracks recorded live during 1978 world tour. Mixed at Albert Studios Sydney Australia. An Albert production for Albert International Music. (Columbia/Albert Productions/Sony Music/2009)

With ac/dc's third release, powerage, the band was dispensing even heftier ammo from their hook-laden cartridge belt. With the rock-steady rhythm section pounding out 4/4 beats as if it were overtaking a small country, guitarists (and brothers) angus and malcolm young trade towering riffs that belie their pint-sized physical stature. The real change on powerage is a noted improvement in songwriting skill. The six-minute "down payment blues" actually has a sense of restraint and building tension, as opposed to the band's usual hit-the-ground running approach. The release includes a coloured inner-sleeve with band's photos, notes, credits and info. Originally released as Atlantic 19180 on May 30, 1978 Recorded at Albert Studios, Sydney, Australia February/March 1978 Remastered from the original master tapes (Columbia/Albert Productions/Sony Music/2009)

Amazing catchy blistering Punk with great Post-Punk elements makes this one of the coolest 80s UK Punk albums ever. Originating from Essex, the band formed in 1980 and quickly grew in popularity in part from their energetic performances and catchy songs and the presence of exuberant vocalist Alison ‘George Cheex’ Roberts, Their debut single a split with Dead Mans Shadow was released in 1981, that lead to them getting some seriously heavy BBC airplay courtesy of DJ John Peel. This was followed by their 'Suicide Bag' 7' on Fallout in 1982 and that single quickly climbed the UK Indie charts. When the LP 'Mercury Theatre - On The Air!' was released in 1983 it climbed all the way to #5 on the indie charts. (Puke n Vomit Records)

That early line up recorded the classic version of "Bloodstains" in 1979 as a demo produced by Daniel R. van Patten (of the group Berlin). A year later it was included on the seminal Rodney On The Roq compilation album released by Posh Boy Records. Out of stockAdventurous southern California punk trio Agent Orange was the first band to mix surf rock with punk. The group was formed in1l979 in Placentia, a small town close to Fullerton and Anaheim, by frontman Mike Palm on guitar and lead vocals, Steve Soto on bass and Scott Miller on drums. That early line up recorded the classic version of "Bloodstains" in 1979 as a demo produced by Daniel R. van Patten (of the group Berlin). A year later it was included on the seminal Rodney On The Roq compilation album released by Posh Boy Records. Meanwhile James Levesque had replaced Steve Soto (Adolescents) and the new line up released their own self produced and self released 7" ep in 1980. Trust Records is pleased to announce the deluxe reissue of Agression’s cult classic debut album "Don’t Be Mistaken", in partnership with B.Y.O Records who initially released the album in 1983. Agression were on the front lines as they fused the union between skateboarding and punk rock cultures. Their fast-paced, pummeling songs not only became anthems for generations to come, but their convergence of punk’s anger and simplicity, mixed with the furious speed of hardcore, became the blueprint for all skate punk bands to follow. As they innovated, everyone else imitated. Agression was one of the earliest known bands to be considered “Skate Punk. Founding members vocalist Mark Hickey, guitarist Henry Knowels, and bassist “Big” Bob Clark all skated for the Sims skateboarding team in the late 70’s, forming Agression in 1979. The bands only album Don’t Be Mistaken (1982) featured the song “Intense Energy”, which is one of the earliest known punk songs about skateboarding and skate culture. The cover of that album also featured Arthur Lake skating a pool and was shot by legendary photographer Glen E. Friedman. Based out of Oxnard, California, most specifically Silver Strand Beach, their style of music which they dubbed “Speed Rock” became the template for a subgenre of Hardcore now known globally as “Nardcore”. Emerging from southern California in the early ’80s, Agression is considered to be the pioneers of the unique hardcore punk movement affectionately dubbed “Nardcore,” created by combining the words “Oxnard” and “Hardcore,” which originated in Oxnard, California. Outside of Agression this Southern California scene featured bands such as Stalag 13, Dr. Know, Scared Straight, and False Confession. Don’t Be Mistaken is full of rapid-fire skatepunk rhythm and truly stands as a crowning achievement of the movement. The vocals are literally spit out, and the songs are as melodic as they are thrashy. This masterpiece, originally released by BYO Records in 1983, has been remastered by David Gardner from the original analog tapes. It has been repackaged featuring a beautiful, 20-page, full-color booklet on the oral history of the band from inception through the making of "Don't Be Mistaken," narrated by John Reis (Rocket From The Crypt, Hot Snakes, and Drive Like Jehu). • Remastered from the original analog tapes by David Gardner (Infrasonic Mastering) • Includes deluxe 20-page booklet with exclusive photos, memorabilia, antidotes and the Agression story as told by John Reis (Rocket From The Crypt, Drive Like Jehu, and Hot Snakes). You can't keep a good band down. With ceaseless, unwavering fan support, The Aggrolites reconvened in late 2015 to lay down three songs, "Aggro Reggae Party," "Help Man" and "Western Taipan," which reminded them that, hey, they're still pretty damn good at this. They never gave up, thankfully! That one-off recording session was the spark that eventually created this album, certainly their best to date. REGGAE NOW! is the Aggrolites' sixth full-length, and first with Pirates Press Records. Written and recorded throughout 2018, the album finds these architects of "Dirty Reggae" reestablishing their signature sound, re-recording those three songs from 2015 as well as adding on 11 more originals that snap, crackle and pop just as much as your favorite Aggro songs from back in the day. The Aggro Army is excited to get back in the groove. "We're passionate about reggae, we're passionate about our band, and I don't think we?re ever gonna stop," Singer Jesse Wagner notes. "Everybody clicks right now. That's why we're calling it REGGAE NOW! because this is us NOW." Label: Pirates Press Records – PPR237-1 Barcode: 810017644858
