  • Solid black vinyl version limited to 350 copies - LP 18.00 The debut full length by Italy’s hate-filled Grindcore masters available again in a top quality edition! Originally recorded in 1995 and released in 1996, “Your lies in check” is a 69 song tornado of ultra-violent Grindcore/Punk blasting at the speed of light! Quoting an older review of the album: “With no shadow of doubt a milestone in Italian Grind/Hardcore and an important release also if seen on an international view. Over 7.000 copies sold if you sum the different LP+CD+MC versions around. Sixty-nine songs of pure hate in fourty-nine minutes. Grindcore of vile screams, guttural bellows and a lot of yelling. Music that is short, fast and to the point. Slow parts that are heavy and dirgey, showing no signs of fun. Superfast Hatecore/Grind with a rocking Punk edge unique in its kind. Includes over the top anthems (Italia di merda, Stimmung, Prospettive limitate, 1974, Padroni, Images of war / Images of pain..) covered by plenty of bands worldwide.” – Audio re-transferred from the original reels and mastered at Toxic Basement Studio – Original 1996 artwork restored and restyled – Gatefold sleeve with lyrics, photos and a repro of the original poster (F.O.A.D. • Solid black vinyl version limited to 300 copies - LP+CD. Torino, Northern Italy, is with no trace of doubt one of the areas that gave birth to some of the most important Italian Hardcore bands of all eras… NEGAZIONE, DECLINO, CONTR-AZIONE, 5# BRACCIO, ROUGH just to mention a few. And the great thing about this city is that all this did not only last in the ’80s but had a solid continuation in the decades to follow. Bands like ARTURO, CRUNCH, FRAMMENTI, BELLI-COSI, C.O.V. took the legacy of the giants that came before and ruled the ’90s reinventing Hardcore with creativity, passion and a flash of genius in song-writing. ARTURO were certainly the fastest and those that have been more pristine in sticking to the total Hardcore formula, especially in their early years with Alfo on vocals. So this anthology is all focused on that time, the early years of one of the most furious Italian Hardcore bands of the Nineties… fast, top adrenalinic Hardcore that gives no time to breathe from start to finish! It includes their debut CD “Ar-cor” (1995), the two Ep’s “Isterico” (1997) and “Topo volante” (1998) plus a bonus CD with the impossible to find first demo and an unreleased soundboard live at El Paso (Torino), 1996 opening for CRIPPLE BASTARDS (actually at that time ARTURO shared their drummer and bass-player with CB!). 63 songs of manic fast TORINO HC!!! Double insert with lyrics, original artworks and photos. (F.O.A.D. Records)
  • Another in 540’s great series of reissues of classic and obscure early Australian punk 45s, this time from Brisbane’s Just Urbain. A little less “rock” than a lot of classic Aussie punk, Just Urbain have an absolutely brutal guitar sound that’s almost industrial in its drive… it sounds more like a circular saw than a musical instrument, and when you combine that with the primitive bashing of the vocals and rhythm section you get some pretty darn exemplary KBD punk. Killer! (540 Records)

180 Gram record housed in a paste on board sleeve. Indiscriminate cruelty to common people: the slogan could be about war or it could be about your eardrums while listening to 'Tragedy.' Disclose's first LP is a landmark of cacophonous, guitar-forward noisy hardcore. Heavily influenced by classic 80s Swedish raw punk, these fifteen songs perfect the unrelenting formula as only Kawakami could. Originally released in Japan on the cult label Overthrow in 1994, this reissue restores the fierce original mix two decades later. It differs from the mix on later represses hailing from Uppsala, where Swedish bombshelter-dwellers keep the flame alive. This authorized reissue reproduces the original artwork, with insert. Crack your brain up! (La Vida Es Un Mus)
  • ARTCORE ISSUE 39 WITH MYDOLLS 7” ARTCORE #39 In this issue of the long running UK punk zine you’ll find in depth interviews with legendary UK punks SUBHUMANS, LA’s TOTAL MASSACRE, Amsterdam’s OPEN WOUNDS, South Wales’ DRUNKEN MARKSMAN, The North East’s TIED DOWN and London’s GAME. While the historical ‘Vaultage’ section of the zine features interviews with original LA punk zine FLIPSIDE, London anarcho post-punks PART 1 and Stoke’s EXIT CONDITION. On top of this are the articles: ‘Death to the Sickoids’ a 10,000 word history of Canadian punk in the 70s and 80s, ‘Punks in Parkas’ on the ‘79 mod revival by ace face Neil Cox (Shutdown, Thirty Six Strategies, Diaz Brothers) and ‘Ragin’ Full On In Early 80s Southern California’ featuring the hardcore memoirs of Andy Nystrom (Sorex, There’s Something Hard In There). There are also over 100 reviews and zero advertising, all jammed into 40 litho printed A4 pages. MYDOLLS 7” This three song 7” featuring ‘Nova Grows Up’, ‘The/Rapist’ and ‘In Technicolor’ is an enhanced reissue with new artwork of the Mydolls 1981 debut release on C.I.A. Records (run by Linda of the band along with her husband U-Ron Bondage of REALLY RED). From Houston, Texas, this male-backed feminist art-punk four piece followed their own path, creating a unique post-punk sound that would’ve fitted right in on Rough Trade’s roster of bands of the day alongside THE SLITS and THE RAINCOATS. The band travelled to London not longer after this 7” was released in 1982 to promote the record and were interviewed by John Peel. They went onto release another 7” and a mini-album in the 80s, appeared in Wim Wenders’ film Paris, Texas, as well as playing gigs along side touring bands like MINOR THREAT, THE CRAMPS and SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES, as well as locals BIG BOYS, REALLY RED and THE DICKS. The 7” (with some additional audio) comes on green/grey marble vinyl and is housed in an eight page lyric and photo booklet.

  • 200 Copies on Black Vinyl. Just when you thought that there were no diamonds left to be unearthed from the worshipped vaults of the early ’80s Finnish Hardcore scene, F.O.A.D. Records is ready to shock you with a lost&found classic that nobody was aware of, not even the psychos from the most diehard tape-trading circles. BAYONET have remained an obscurity also among Punks in their native land. Perhaps it has faded into somewhat a mystery as they had virtually no contributions to the thriving scene of Finland in 1982 and 1983 – the very little while they existed… A shit-quality bootleg 7″ came to light few years ago, but it really didn’t make justice to the fact that these guys had two incredible studio recordings that they didn’t send anywhere at that time, and that were unearthed just recently thanks to the help of a friend that contacted a band member and triggered the gear that made us get here. So if you’re a fan of raw and fast Suomi HC/Punk and turn crazy for bands such as Kaaos, Rattus, Bastards, Terveet Kädet, Varaus, Sorto, Riistetyt, Kansan Uutiset and dozens more, this 49 song discography by BAYONET needs to be an instant add-on to your collection. Needless to say that it’s all mastered from the best sounding sources in existence. These guys claim they were influenced by early ’80s US Hardcore but the style is actually what we all love of Finnish HC, a bloody chaotic inferno of speed and brutal distortion. This collection includes their two studio sessions “Taste of piss” and “Finger in a deep arsehole” plus bonus rehearsals, songs from the rare “Ilkivalta” compilation tape and the recording of the only live they ever made! It comes with an insert including a lengthy interview to Seppo and Nikke run by Otto Itkonen (Selfish, Forca Macabra, Kuolema, Kovaa Rasvaa etc..) plus some photos. To cut it short, this is a total must for every maniac of raw and chaotic early ’80s Hardcore! (F.O.A.D. Records)

NASTY SAVAGE‘s classic Demotape “Wage of mayhem” (1984) for the first time on vinyl spiced up with a lethal selection of rare and unreleased bonus tracks from the early days… NASTY SAVAGE were the undisputed pioneers of Florida’s Metal scene, arguments can be made that the early 90’s Tampa area Death Metal explosion was a direct result of Nasty Savage, who mixed a more nihilistic view, lyrically and through onstage horror imagery, than the Bay Area. Their debut demotape and the additional early tracks collected here show the band on a more Power Metal oriented approach (at times even leaning to NWOBHM areas) than the incendiary Thrash artillery of some subsequent works, but the amount of memorable riffs, a dark evil mood with a few psychedelic elements and the charismatic vocals of their distinctive frontman Ronnie Savage, clearly show the fact that even at their inception they were surprisingly mature and way ahead for their times. The insane, impressive riffing and Ronnie’s high-pitched vocals coin a totally unique sound. Unique, but you can tell some of the influences: Mercyful Fate, Slayer, the heavier NWOBHM bands generally. “Wage of Mayhem” is without the slightest doubt one of the greatest and most influential Metal demo tapes of the 80’s. Remastered from pristine sources taken from the band’s personal archives. Gatefold sleeve + 24 page booklet full of rare photos, flyers, zine interviews and memorabilia. SPECIAL BONUS: a replica of the original “WAGE OF MAYHEM vol. 1” fanzine!!! DIVE IN A BLOODY PIT OF UNCHAINED METAL SAVAGERY!! Watch the trailer HERE Black vinyl limited to 350 copies. (F.O.A.D. • Founded in 2017, Data Fragments are Stathis Leontiadis, widely known as Doric (Human Puppets, Exetix), a mastermind of analogue synthesizers, now on the bass, Panagiotis Dedepsidis (Komodia Thanatou) on vocals and ingenious, new wave guitars, previously widely praised on Komodia Thanatou's self titled LP and Panos Dimopoulos (Komodia Thanatou) one of today's most charismatic bass players, on a different, more avant-garde role on synthesizers. The three produced a crystal clear, post punk chronicle, full of blatant manifestos and nostalgia, embraced by nihilistic, insurgent lyrics creating a record not only worthy of its new wave forefathers but a stimuli to all contemporary musicians. Their live - all sold out - performances underscore this truth and make this release a future classic. The LP which came out last year and sell out after some months is out for the second time in a mix pink/cyan vinyl in 140 hand-numbered copies. (Geheimnis Records)

This is their debut album, comprising of 8 tracks, revealing all their sins and inner thoughts inspired by the Athenian underground. • Includes suburbia tracks as a bonus. Originally released in 1982 on Alternative Tentacles and then again on Restless Records in 1989, BENEATH THE SHADOWS is one of the true punk rock classics. It was an early masterpiece from TSOL—a progression from their earlier releases—highlighting the maturity of a truly original band. On BENEATH THE SHADOWS TSOL added keyboards to the lineup, along with complex and stylized arrangements that made one think the London Symphony might be touring with them in the future. As other bands in their genre fumbled around ‘into the unknown’, with BENEATH THE SHADOWS TSOL forged a new sound that made their fan base more numerous and rabid. (Fan Club)
  • This is a cult for the early death/thrash metal movement and a great album. In Canada there was another band that was doing more or less the same Slaughter music in the same period, and that band was Sacrifice. They were the precursors in that beautiful country of a genre that was developing worldwide with great bands such as Death, Possessed, Kreator, Sodom, Bathory, Sepultura, Sarcofago and many others. Their goal was to bring the classic violent thrash metal to another level in brutality and heaviness. The experiment was achieved here, without forgetting the main genre it comes from. More or less 30 minutes to show all their abilities in destroying everything with panzer drums and fast guitars. Their distortion was already innovative and pure death metal with a fuzz, heavy as hell, sound. The vocals were half way between Celtic Frost down tone and the classic thrash metal ones. Issued with a 425gsm heavy cardboard cover, lyric insert and poster. Piss Yellow Vinyl. Recorded on February 9th, 1986 at Futuresound, Toronto. (High Roller Records)

  • The third album from Toronto's The Diodes got a lovely CD reissue courtesy Bongo Beat a few years ago, but the original 1980 vinyl version is still the only vinyl edition of this essential, often overlooked gem of Canadian punk and rock'n'roll. From the super catchy title track to the utterly infectious Catwalker, to the perfect rock swagger of Rock It Over and Under, this is an album that needs to be experienced on vinyl. Slick remastering, beautiful packaging, and you also get an MP3 download card. (Artoffact Records) https://thediodes.bandcamp.com/album/action-reaction
  • Hard cover, 48 pages. 55 pics by Apostolos Mokas, member of the hardcore band MY TURN and a professional tour manager, shooting pictures with his phone from Belfast to Berlin and from London to Budapest. Hardcore shows, venues, landscapes, street art and even a football stadium.
  • What do members of Trial, Test of Time, Expired Youth and Decline have in common? A love for classic hardcore and a band called Bystander. Their path was paved by Youth Of Today, Chain of Strength, Judge and others, yet Bystander breathes new life into the genre´s boundaries both musically and lyrically. What you hear on this five song EP is powerful oldschool hardcore coupled with heartfelt lyrics which take a look both inward and outward at the same time. This is a band calling for internal reflection while engaging the scene to be more than just passive bystanders themselves. (WAK) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87O5y_95vnQ

  • Xenofon Razis is a Punk-Rock/Pub-Folk singer songwriter from Athens Greece known for his powerful performances, working class background and antifascist lyrics always active playing shows wherever possible around Greece and Europe. Webzine reviews have named his style as Acoustic Punk-Rock / Pub-Folk / Irish Thrash / Country Punk etc but he claims that he just plays music that comes straight from his heart and soul, screaming his guts out with an acoustic guitar and that's all it! His songs are full of whisky and beer, full of stories from the pubs he played and the streets he lived describing the working class struggle of everyday life, fueled with an antifascist spirit and diy background and of course infused with love, friendship, learning from mistakes, getting back up to your feet and never give up! Many bands influenced his songwriting like Chuck Ragan, Hot Water Music, Snuff, Bad Religion, The Clash, Criminal Damage and The Pogues to name a few. His latest album "All Grey" was recorded with a full band (acoustic guitar / bass / drums / violin / harmonica) released on limited vinyl with the help of the German label "Mad Drunken Monkey Records" and on cassette via Berlin based label "Tape Or Die" (which also re-released his second album "Athens City Prison" again on cassette).
