• OHYDA | koszmar | LP

    17.00 incl. tax
Sophomore release by Lublin’s OHYDA. Picking up where their Self Titled LP left in 2016 their new 12” ups the feedback, aggression and psychedelic infused hardcore of their previous release to new levels. Sonically OHYDA are dark and anthemic, with a ferocious guitar tone and delay vocals backed up by a extremely solid rhythm section. Not afraid of riffs or creating atmospheric passages leading to explosions of noise full of nightmarish visions of the current world. Imagine ABADDON meeting HAWKWIND at Jarocin festival then using CRESS’s gear to write an album of distorted quasi industrial hardcore. I want to think that if the class of 1984 Polish hardcore had dreamed of what the future would sound it will be close to Koszmar. Recorded by Pawel Chyla at Backyard Studio and Mastered by Daniel Husayn at North London Bomb Factory. Koszmar comes in a heavy reverse board and insert designed by guitarist Mike. • Although these songs were all originally recorded at the same time, they were released separately - either on various compilations or on the "Let The Boots Do The Talking" and "Carson?" 7' EPs. We're re-releasing them together here to inspire some more resistance to the sick and twisted system that is destroying our planet. Comes with 20 page booklet, reissue on Urinal Vinyl Records of the 2006 LP. (Urinal Vinyl Records)
  • Remastered vinyl reissue of the debut and only Omega Tribe album, originally released in late 1983 on Corpus Christi Records. The album was recorded by Guitarist Pete Fender deep in the Poison Girl’s basement studio in Leyton and contains 11 punk anthems with a pop sensibility missed by most of their curse of 1983 peers. Omega Tribe were one of the few bands that had a much more softer, poetic and melodic style of playing that still managed to impress, educate and influence their audiences. It was protest music with a heart and sense of love that still is relevant 35 years later. This album has never been reissued and deserves it's place right next to the Mob - Let the Tribe Increase, Poison Girls - Hex and Zounds - Curse of Zounds. • *LIMITED EDITION INCLUDES 60X40 CM POSTER AND HYPE STICKER. Formed in 1979 in the northern English town of Fleetwood, Lancashire (a former major fishing port that had declined since the 1960s), One Way System was one of the most highly-rated ‘street punk’ groups that spun off from the British hardcore and Oi scenes. Mowhawk-sporting lead singer Gavin Whyte was initially joined by guitarist Craig Halliday, bassist Gaz Buckley and rapid-fire drummer Tez McDonald; the early demos of “Jerusalem,” “Spokesmen For Teenagers” and “1980s” included here were cut with that lineup, before former Zyklon B member David “Crabby” Ross joined as second guitarist, yielding the incendiary single “Stab The Judge” and the No Entry EP, issued by Blackpool’s Lightbeat Records in 1981. Halliday later quit the group and when McDonald joined The Fits, accomplished drummer Tommy Couch brought a totally different musical dimension, his command of the kit well beyond the abilities of most of his contemporaries. In addition to the demos and the Lightbeat material, this compilation also collects the singles and EPs issued by Cherry Red’s Anagram subsidiary between 1982-84, including the inaugural 45, “Give Us A Future.” Tracks 1-3 from 'No Entry' 7", Lightbeat 1982. Tracks 4-5 from 1982 single, Anagram. Tracks 6-11 from 1983 singles, Anagram. Tracks 12-15 from 'Visions Of Angels' 7", Anagram, 1984. Tracks 16-18 are 1982 demos. (Radiation Records)
  • The Vienna hardcore powerhouse is back with their 5th full-length album, Recorded an produced by Tue Madsen & Jacob OLsen at the Antfarm studios in Denmark. Still keeping the traditional, old-school values of hardcore but this time adding some blasting riffs and intense grooves to create their own brands of hardcore. Without a doubt their best album ever. (Super Hero Records)
  • ‘Re-evolve’ is a story of a romantic thinking about the world of peace, respect for human and animal life and earth liberation, meeting the brutality of metal, crust d-beat and harsh but atmospheric guitars. Lyrically, the band touches important sociological issues evolving around one main topic: human greed and selfishness, as according to the band, human thinking needs to re-evolve unless we want to live in the world of wars and exploitation. • OUTO | same title | LP

    22.00 incl. tax
More Japanese bootleg vinyl, this time collecting Outo’s LP, their Many Question Poison Answer 7”, and their contributions to the Hardcore Unlawful Assembly, Thrash Till Death, and My Meat’s Your Poison compilations. There are 26 tracks, making for a lot of Outo! If you aren’t familiar with Outo, I’d put them firmly in the second tier of great Japanese hardcore punk bands. While they never made a record as classic as Death Side, Bastard, or Gauze, they certainly ripped. They had a fast, metallic sound that was as fast as SOB or Systematic Death, but with a metallic complexity to the riffing. Their recordings are also great, which showcases said complexity. In a large dose like this their songs can, perhaps, sound same-y, but I can’t imagine someone could point to one second on this disc and say it’s not killer. Like a lot of recent Japanese bootlegs, this one features rather dodgy black and white cover art (which is a shame, because most of Outo’s records have awesome full-color sleeves), but excellent sound presumably derived from a CD reissue. While it’s a shame this reissue loses some of the magic of holding an original in your hands, I don’t see this material getting an official vinyl reissue any time soon, so you’d best jump on this chance to get this in your collection. - LP ltd 180 copies - 26 tracks collecting their 12". 1st 7" and 4-way split and comp tracks. - Full size double sided insert with sticker. Six Weeks Records announce what could probably be the most devastating grindcore record of 2013. Just end the competition because P.L.F. has unleashed an unbelievable exercise in pure, old-school grindcore at its most damaging on this, their new release: "devious persecution and wholesale slaughter", a head-crushing battering of 14, insanely powerful tracks. Observe all the elements: harsh bolts of terror with influence taken from the legends of grindcore history (TERRORIZER, ASSÜCK. NAPALM DEATH, REPULSION) and twisted all together with violent death-metal bloodletting, making this effort a milestone for this veteran Texas band, and grindcore itself. (Six Weeks Records)

These Houston monsters of Grindcore mayhem refuse to settle for anything other than pure, unleashed Grindcore (Naplam Death/Carcass) tinged with a raw death metal punishment of classic Kreator. This new recording devastates with whirlwind, raw guitars and guttural puking vocals by founding member Dave Callier. Bryan Fajardo's precise, jaw dropping attack on the drums delivers as always, melting ears and stirring a sense of pure awe at his talent. One of the best in extreme music. This band relies on an absolute dedication and love for the genre. Truly one of the best going, and likely, one of the best ever. (Six Weeks Records)
  • Clear vinyl, limited to 100 copies + big 24-page booklet Padot na Vizantija (Macedonian: Падот на Византија, English: The Fall of the Byzantine Empire) was an influential 1980s post-punk, darkwave and gothic rock band with occasional Byzantine music elements and Christian beliefs from Skopje, North Macedonia. The group is notable for its guitar player Klime Kovačeski and vocalist Goran Trajkoski who rose to international prominence as a frontman of the group Anastasia which was featured on the soundtrack album for the Academy Award nominated movie Before the Rain directed by Milčo Mančevski. The most prominent tracks by Padot na Vizantija are Night Over Yugoslavia, Beginning and End, The Same Situation After All and Horse Riders. This release contains all studio and live material as well as the band's rehearsal demo (on CD). All songs are remastered. (NE! Records)
  • Legendary Pankrti (Bastards) was formed in Lublana, Slovenija (ex-Yu) in 1977 and was one of the strongest punk rock bands from Yugoslavia. After some initial but very shocking concerts, it was right time to release the first vinyl single, so they recorded 4 songs in studio Audiomark in Gorica, Italy. Shortly after that, two of songs became the single (Lepi into prazni / Lublana je bulana SKUC, december 1978) and the other tow were used on the ''Novi punk val" compilation in 1981.But many did not know that Pankrti already had a demo before Gorica recording, made by two songs ("Metka'' and ''Sam si kriv") that were recorded during the summer 1978 in a studio in Lublana. This demo recording was until today almost forgotten, and now, after thirtysix years they final see the face of light again! Pankrti was best known (in addition to their energetic gigs) for their strong inspirational and highly engaged political poetry and their success paved the way for many new punk bands. Their influence on the Yugoslavian and especially, Slovenian punk scene was enormous. The artwork replicates the original but with bonus insert and it features the two songs of the original version plus the two that appeared on the forgotten demo, all of them especially remastered for this release! (NE! Records)

    25.00 incl. tax
'Legendary Paraf's "Flags" album (1984) on vinyl again! Special edition on the 35th anniversary, with original production and additional bonus track 'Throwers'!. Paraf was a punk rock and later post-punk band from Rijeka, (Yugoslavia, now Croatia) known as one of the pioneers of punk rock in the former Yugoslavia. Their third album Zastave (Flags), released in 1984, was produced by the band themselves with Borghesia member Aldo Ivančić. Inspired by Miroslav Krleža's multi-volume novel of the same name, the album featured lyrical themes related to the recent European political history. Most of the album featured somewhat obscure thematic references and occasionally absurd lyrics set to sparse, post-punk-influenced melodies such as the Gang of Four-like "Kad se oglasi" ("When the [Trumpet] Sounds") or Wire-influenced "Zastave". In other songs, such as the ethereal "Oj ponose moj" ("Oh, my Pride") and the bizarre collage "Zlatno Doba" ("Golden Age"), Paraf explored interesting and fresh approaches to both songwriting and production. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the album was largely ignored by the mainstream audiences. (Dallas Records)
  • Inspired by Killing Joke, UK DEcay, Theatre Of Hate and 77 punk rock, Paralisis Permanente formed in Madrid in 1981. This record is an awesome collection of most of this bands (non-bootleg) singles. The music is in Spanish and if you like Alaska y Los Pegamoides (their previous band) then you will love this one. This album's songs and lyrics are dark and is just a great album. I recommend it to whoever likes Paralisis Permanente and will always be a fan of their work and of Eduardo Benavente. (Sonidos Perdidos/Unofficial)
  • Replica re-issue of the cover and artwork. 180 g black vinyl. Seminal record for any punk in UK, China or whatever you live, fucker!!!! The Partisans were formed in Wales south in 1978 with the original line-up of Phil Staton-voice, Rob "Spike" Harrington-guitar and backing vocals, Andy Lealand-second guitar, Mark "Shark" Harris-drums and Mark "Savage" Parsons-bass. This line-up will change after one year as Parsons and Staton left the band and Rob took the voice position and entering Louise Wright as bass player. Basically influenced by Sex Pistols, The Clash and Ramones, The Partisans started to cover those bands and playing some own sounds too. On September 1981 they released their first 7" under the label No Future Records, a fantastic single that helped the band to tour with the likes of Blitz, The Ejected and Peter and the Test Tube Babies. On May 1982 they released their second 7" and when 1983 arrived the band's debut LP was out. This debut LP is one of the seminal steps on British punk for sure, a record that still sound fresh and strong after 3o years. Beat Generation is more than proud to announce the re-issue of this legendary record on 180 grams vinyl with the same cover and inside artwork and stricted limited to 500 copies. If you are able to crack a smile even through the tears, the new album of Polish band PAST will be exactly for you! Their raw sound can't deny countrymen of SIEKIERA 'b4s classics - they can be as cold as X-MAL DEUTSCHLAND, but full of hope and energy, they can also give you new zest for life. They are more melodic than VANNA INGET and more melancholic than MAKTHEVERSKAN. On the LP "Black/White", the 80's post-punk gets a distinctive character also thanks to the strong vocal of the singer Gosia, who really performs her dissatisfaction with the state of today's world with expression and is not satisfied with a vacant "singing". She's got an opinion, she complains, calms down, screams, she can dream away and get angry and her fellow bandmates are helping her with that. Eleven songs and a cover by EWA BRAUN are definitely not black and white. On the contrary, the album is full of colors - the brighter ones and the darker ones as well. However, all of them are intensive and that's a specific sign of PAST. Moreover, the lyric poetry in Polish makes it believable and leaves no space for empty phrases. (Contraszt! 2nd album of Warsaw based coldwave / post-punk band PAST! Influenced by sound of 80′ coldwave / punk music, this new record is darker and colder than their outstanding debut album with more lyrical references to depressive cruel reality. Coldwave appeal, in the same vein as Siekiera, at times reminding of X-Mal Deutschland. Perfect fusion of energy, melancholy and touching melodies – so specific and integral elements of this amazing band! (Contraszt! Records) https://pastpunk.bandcamp.com/album/sama
  • The irate and gloomy sounds of Cleveland, London, Stoke-on-Trent, and any other hub of negative reinforcement in-between, needs a soundtrack to get across a message that words could never convey. ‘Second to None’ from infamous London Straight Edge band Payday, est. 2016, is one such soundtrack, giving no space for a breather whilst providing a realisation that life is for living on the edge now or never, and never is not an option. From the opening title track to the crawling ‘Are You Alone?’, that holds on with scraping nails as it fades slowly into oblivion, Payday provide lessons learned from growing up in The Big Smoke. Vocalist Marco Abbatiello lets you know that any slip ups will prove fatal, such as on Touch Ah Button, a nod to the UK Hip Hop classic of the same name, as dive bombs soar to heights that will make any sellout reach for their nappies. The message may be obvious, the melee of influences to get it across is anything but for a straight edge band in 2019, such as Ringworm and Integrity. Whilst others shout about positivity, Payday are living in hell without the comfort of escapism, just cold, hard and ugly truths, such as on ‘The Maze’, ‘Whitewash I’ and ‘Whitewash II’. They ask the hard questions with your answers not wanted. Second to None by name and nature, the reality of your choices always fall at your feet. Check out the LP on bandcamp. • Formed in 1978 in the sleepy Brighton suburb of Peacehaven, Peter & The Test Tube Babies are one of the most legendary bands of the first wave of UK Oi! and punk. Known for their sarcastic, tongue-in-cheek lyrics and explosive live show, the band has been rocking stages for nearly 4 decades and are still going strong. Pissed & Proud, originally released in 1982, is their debut full-length album. They had previously released numerous singles and compilation tracks, but this live album - recorded in Hammersmith, Wood Green, and their original stomping ground, Brighton - was their biggest release yet. Not many bands debut with a live album, but for Peter & The Test Tube Babies, who were at that point legends for their live show, it made perfect sense. Essential UK Oi! reissued on vinyl, enjoy P&TTTB at their rawest, very best. (Radiation Records)
  • The first album of the cult punks from Brighton, official released in 1982! Now the re-release by Radiation Reissues is available, limited to 500 copies (Radiation Records)
