  • Parts of 'Everyday' and 'Reflections' veer toward a vintage Hüsker Dü guitar tone. Short bursts of fury Crossover between the crust world and modern contemporaries like Fucked Up. Fans of Alternative Tentacles' BlackNoise imprint and groups like I Object, Nausea, and even Disaster Strikes will find comfort in the familiar sounds here, but anyone into melodic punk with screaming female vocals should also fall in line. • “Youth of America” is pressed on high-quality vinyl at RTI and packaged in a sturdy, old-fashioned tip-on sleeve. The tracks have been mastered from original tapes by Greg Sage himself, and the cover is identical to the original sleeve as issued in 1981. Simply obliterating any conception of the Wipers as a mere punk band, Greg Sage released this follow-up to “Is This Real?” in 1981—a sophisticated, overwhelming response to the evil times marked by the turn of the decade. Broken up into six long songs, “Youth of America” is a much colder, harrowing experience than the teen angst of their debut. Vocally, Sage comes off as sleep-deprived and forsaken, snarling not only at his own predicament but at the predicament of the entire world. (Jackpot Records)
  • Wipers “Tour 84” features tracks from the first three Wipers albums. Recorded live on tour in February - March 1984. Originally released on cassette by Greg Sage and on vinyl by Enigma Records in 1985. - First Time Reissued On Vinyl - Included 3 Wipers songs unavailable anywhere else - Pressed at RTI for Maximum Fidelity - Cover artwork features the iconic Wipers logo. (Jackpot Records)
  • Since Jackpot Records began our Wipers vinyl reissues in 2006, we’ve been inundated with requests for a reissue of Over The Edge. After two years of labor, including an immaculate remaster from the original tapes by Greg Sage, we are proud to present Over the Edge, pressed on audiophile grade vinyl and packaged in a deluxe, tip-on sleeve. The bleak, hard-driven third LP by the Wipers (originally released in 1983) offers Greg Sage at his most chased and breathless, lashing out with sharp staccato notes as if melody were his only defense. While their debut LP provided the blueprint for grunge, and their second album recast the band as one of America’s premier postpunk bands, it’s Over The Edge that best exemplifies the Wipers’ sound. The jagged, effortless guitar lines, the paranoid lyrics and raw-throated vocals and the taut, unified rhythms that define their sound bleed together most clearly on this LP, and it stands as both the best entry point for new fans and the most prevalent favorite of diehards. (Jackpot Records)
  • Unquestionably Portland's most well-loved punk group, they formed in the late 70's & in 1980 released their debut LP. 12 songs of stabbing, jittery guitar, snapped vocals, & unabashed teen angst. Full of desperation & yearning, the LP has stood as a blueprint for wretched youth for over 25 yrs. In the early 90's it was given mainstream attention when Nirvana covered 2 tracks off the record & Cobain announced it was one of the primary influences on his group. Remastered from original tapes as provided by Greg Sage himself, the LP is pressed on audiophile grade vinyl and housed in a deluxe tip-on sleeve. (Jackpot Records)
  • 180gram black vinyl, includes 2 sided 10x10 lyric sheet. Worthless, the latest full-length recorded effort from this Chicago quartet, is... a face-peeler. Opening track Hometown Hero sets the bar high in hurry with a pummeling combination of Discharge-esque riffs that explode into grindcore blasts beats and vocal attacks that are as poignant as ever. Here we see singer Snyder stepping up the pace with rants that drive forward at 200 mph, ready to blow you over with a guitar presence that is thicker than sea-shit. This is extreme music for extreme musicians and those who have an ear for detail. The awesomely thick, but not overly-engineered sounding production really puts this LP over-the-top. As someone who is inundated with new releases every week, this authenticity of sound within Worthless is immediately engaging and sustaining. (Deep Six Records)
  • Chicago’s WEEKEND NACHOS go out in a storm of hatred with the release of their final album 'Apology'. Recorded by the band's own Andy Nelson at Bricktop Studios (Lord Mantis, Like Rats, Harms Way), 'Apology' is a veritable tornado of grindcore/powerviolence/hardcore savagery. 'Apology' is thirteen tracks of utter punishment that sees WEEKEND NACHOS sounding more dangerous and urgent than ever before. Features guest vocal appearances from Dylan Walker of Full of Hell. Like a punch in the face and the whole body being shaken. This is what the new record of WEAK TIES sounds like… WEAK TIES is a four piece band from Bielefeld, Germany. In their second album “Find a Way” they diverged from the initial power violence of previous releases and turned to a well done stop-and-go hardcore punk. The album is aggressive, tense, uncompromising and cut to the core. The guitar sound is rather clean and scrappy and blends in perfectly with the overall sound and the blast beats tend to give way to groovier drum rhythms. The riffs screw their way into your brain like parasites and the grooves are as clever as they are blunt, think of early CEREMONY or even BLACK FLAG. “Sorry, Not Today Pt. II” and the two short guitar interludes “I” and “II” add another dimension and form a counterweight to faster songs. The band has distilled and compressed their sound: the songs are much more controlled, on all levels, and thus gain immensely in impact. Laura’s vocals seem a bit more aggressive because they are more mature than ever and the lyrics are hitting where it hurts. WEAK TIES cut a good figure next to bands like PUNCH or COCAINE PISS, something that can’t be taken for granted these days. THIS IS PUNK! (Contraszt! Records)
  • There is no doubt Warzone is one of the most crucial and influential bands coming from the New York Hardcore scene. Fronted by the charismatic Ray “Raybeez” Barbieri, Warzone preached vehemently for scene unity and against racism while buzzsaw guitar riffs and wailing solos over speedy drums churned out a soundtrack found at CBGB Sunday Matinees, The Pyramid, The Anthrax and the rest of the legendary clubs of the era. Their landmark debut LP Don’t Forget The Struggle, Don’t Forget The Streets is heralded as one of the most important NYHC records of all time, with its 2016 reissue on Revelation Records selling thousands of copies and filling gaps in record collections all over the world. Two years later, Revelation Records proudly presents the reissue of Warzone’s second LP Open Your Eyes. This oft-overlooked record continues the sound from Don’t Forget The Struggle,... the last purely hardcore record before the band’s more metal third LP. This record featured Jerry Williams behind the board who was previously known for his work with Bad Brains, The Beastie Boys, and Reagan Youth among others, with production help from none other than Dr. Know, guitarist of Bad Brains! • WARHEAD come from the former capital of the Empire, Kyoto, and there's no doubt they're among the top classic hard core bands from the Land of the Rising Sun. Insane Society now releases the most important of their 1991-2004 work on one LP wrapped in a cover by well-known japcore artist Sugi - 22 songs from their out-of-print and hard-to-find 7", split and compillation releases, boasting remastered sound (as heard on a CD previously released by Blood Sucker Records). The first song, "Cry of the Truth", is a solid punch in the face right off and this maelstrom of the most frantic hardcorepunk won't let you go until the needle has come to the last groove of the record. Maniac vocals mixed with massive sung-along refrains, guitars in the red, roaring bass, rabid drumming and cymbals sounding like a whiplash - all this makes for an incredibly loud and energetic mix, supported by lyrics full of defiance and desire to never conform and to never give up! • Earmark Records press from an absolute thrash metal classic originally from 1987. Please note these copies do not have the sticker this press originally had. Few copies from an old warehouse. Voivod are a Canadian heavy metal band from Quebec that formed in 1982. They started out as a speed metal band, while adding a mix of progressive and thrash metal to create their own unique style. They were one of the first thrash bands from Canada to receive international acclaim. The band have releasedeleven studio albums and a number of EPs, live albums, demos and DVDs. The band is still touring and are set to release a new album in 2017. The bands' third full album perfectly reinforces their image of a post-apocalyptic wasteland set against a thrashing-punk-speed-metal soundscape. It was released on Noise Records in 1987. This definitive re-issue of VOIVOD's Killing Technology is a must-have item for any fan of this unique and ground-breaking Progressive Metal band. (Earmark Records)

  • A split made for Vidro’s Brazilian tour, originally released on tape and now put out on vinyl. This explains a lot, while both bands are among the better up-and-coming groups, Vidro dominates the record. Already appreciated their previous full-length, now they are even better, playing fucked-up, mid-tempo hardcore somewhere between modern, riff-based groups and SSD/DYS stomping parts, while if you fell for daydreaming seconds, you can find yourself humming “Now I wanna be your dog” to their music, too. Their singer has a great, super pissed off voice; it pairs well with the guitars that dare to experiment beyond a few chords’ chunky riffs. While their side is as effective on moving my body as if someone shook me by my shoulders, I do not feel hypnotized into fist-pumping, but I nod my head owning total consciousness over my limbs. Vidro deserves it. Cankro debuts on vinyl with a new breed of raw hardcore punk for fans of SUB-era Brasilian hardcore but with a contemporary twist, hooks and some parts that turn the trope upside down by infusing 30 minute rocking solos that works beyond all expectations! Stripped for metallic clichés and charged with desperation and sincerety; Cankro rips open a new wound on the surface of contemporary hardcore punk. Welcome to a inferno of hardcore punk agression. (Byllepest Distro)
  • In 1985, VERBAL ABUSE recorded this seminal album after moving from Texas to San Francisco a few years prior much like their peers in D.R.I., living on a diet supplied by soup kitchens and whatever else they could get their hands on, epitomizing the term hardcore. "just an american band" is hardcore at its most raw and primal, a testament to a time when to be hardcore, you had to live hardcore. The band were a soundtrack to a scene still in it’s infancy, a scene that rallied and stood firm against the outside world. Also contains large booklet with lyrics, photos, and commentary from the band. (Beer City Records)
  • The Seven Gates of Hell: Singles, 1980-1985. As the title states, the focus here are Venom's singles, Without Venom, there's a fair chance that we wouldn't have thrash metal or death metal, the group's work served as an obvious blueprint for most of the biggest metal bands we know and love today. This compilation is essential for every metal fan. (Dissonance Records)

The Varukers was one of the first groups of the UK 82 movement - the second generation of punk rock that took the spirit of '77 and merged it with the incessant beat of NWOBHM - responsible for creating UK hardcore. Heavily inspired by Discharge, The Varukers released three 7"s in the early '80s before this, their first and most definitive album, came out in 1983 on the legendary Riot City Records (Vice Squad, Abrasive Wheels, Chaos U.K.). Back in print on LP thanks to Radiation Reissues, "Bloodsuckers" is one of the definitive pieces of early UK hardcore, full of Sabbath-inspired guitar work, pounding rhythms and aggressive, anarchistic lyrical content. (Radiation Records)

Another killer classic back in print! When it came out in 1984, Varukers and Discharge were the two most raging and intense of the UK bands to ratchet punk up to hardcore speed and power in the early 80's. This LP sees Varukers delivering top notch hardcore punk, the guitar tone and riffage are savage, the vocals raw and powerful. The guitar has a bit of the metallic crunch that would permeate hardcore in the future, but still remains grounded in punk. This Lp ranks with Discharge's "Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing" as an example of UK hardcore punk at its very best. Tracks 1-2: 'Die For Your Government' 7" (1983) Tracks 3-14: 'Bloodsuckers' LP (1983) Tracks 15-17: 'Led To The Slaughter' 7" (1984) Tracks 18-25: 'Another Religion, Another War' LP (1984) (Let Them Eat Vinyl Records/ Captain Oi! ‎)
  • Resistance Radio: The Man In The High Castle Album is a musical companion to the hit Amazon Prime Video Original Series "The Man in The High Castle," based on author Philip K. Dick's award-winning book. Set in 1962, the series explores an alternative history of what it would be like if the Allied Powers had actually lost WWII, and Japan and Germany ruled the United States. In the storyline, the Germans now have control the Eastern seaboard, the Japanese the west coast, and in between is a small strip of land controlled by neither. This neutral zone is the refuge of holdouts, revolutionaries and rebels trying to keep the American dream alive through both active and passive resistance, and from where Resistance Radio is broadcasting. Resistance Radio: The Man In The High Castle Album is produced and curated by Danger Mouse and Sam Cohen, and is the imagined soundtrack to the series, and features 18 songs from 1962 to coincide with theme of show. Bringing together the talents of today s most popular Indie and Alternative artists, the project features Beck, Kelis, Norah Jones, The Shins, Angel Olsen, Benjamin Booker, Karen O, and many more. The pilot episode "The Man In The High Castle" premiered in January of 2015, and was Amazon's 'most watched since the original series development program began.' The series was immediately picked up for a full 10 episode season that began airing in November of 2015. A second 10 episode season premiered in December of 2016, and in early 2017 Amazon announced it had renewed the series for a third season. (Columbia/2017)

Αντιλαμβανόμαστε την D.I.Y. κρατάμε τη D.I.Y. μουσική σκηνή ζωντανή! --------- H συλλογή περιλαμβάνει κομμάτια από 16 εγχώριες D.I.Y. μπάντες:
