• Standing on the precipice of a damaged world circling the drain Edmonton punks NO PROBLEM are set to figuratively "kill’em all" with the release of "let god sort ’em out", their ambitious 3rd studio album out on Deranged Records. NO PROBLEM welcomes listeners into a frightening world filled with heavy riffs and nervous, gloomy, frustrated sounds. The perfect summer playlist to underscore our impending doom. A mainstay in Edmonton Alberta’s underground punk community, blending the mutant sounds of early Canadian punk with the classic primitive stomp of American hardcore. Vinyl includes a digital download card. (Taken By Surprise Records) https://noproblempunk.bandcamp.com/album/let-god-sort-em-out
  • 8 years after an impromptu afternoon jam that resulted in their first writing and recording session, and 4 years since their last record, No Tolerance return to deliver the straight edge hardcore album the youth and young-at-heart have been waiting for. Unchanged by the unstoppable march of time, You Walk Alone finds the band still able to mine the same territory as always, but formatted for the ebb and flow of a full length album. Expect a meticulous alloy of "Break Down the Walls", Confront's "Payday", and the Hard Stance E.P.s. QCHQ is releasing this sure to be a banger STRAIGHT EDGE anthem filled torpedo bonzer for Europe, alongside Painkiller Records who will be doing this release Stateside. Expect an LP of such immense BOSTON HARDCORE mosh magnitude that many will spontaneously combust in their camo shorts from high jump fury. The Euro edition comes in a 350gsm laminated card sleeve, with an equally thick poster insert and download code. • In the early 1980s, Washington, DC, boasted one of the world’s most vital and distinguished hardcore punk communities. Home to Minor Threat, Dischord Records and an ascetic straight-edge lifestyle that disdained booze, sex, and drugs, the city was heralded for its loud, fast music and righteous, left-leaning politics. Hailing from the unhip suburb of Ashton, Maryland, No Trend presented a sneering alternative to that sanctimonious ethos. Cynical, surreal, and eager to call attention to the hypocrisy of both Middle American norms and supposedly free-thinking subcultures, the band mercilessly baited its audience, dressed in atrociously kitschy clothing, and antagonized fans and foes with grinding dirges and contemptuous, tragicomic lyrics. Despite much local hostility, the group managed to make a name for itself nationally, touring often and gigging with the likes of the Dead Kennedys, Sonic Youth, T.S.O.L., Hüsker Dü, The Flaming Lips, Butthole Surfers, Soundgarden, and countless others.
This compilation covers No Trend’s early records: the first LP, Too Many Humans, and two versions of the “Teen Love” EP. The inserts and ephemera from the original releases have been recreated to produce true facsimiles of these vinyl documents. The attendant CDs also tack on the group’s first demo tape and a live performance from the period. These artifacts defined No Trend’s sound and image in 1983 and 1984, and are largely how the band is remembered today.
The booklet accompanying the music was painstakingly assembled from a variety of sources, and it includes photos, show flyers, contemporaneous fanzine reviews, and interviews with leader Jeff Mentges and No Trend’s other surviving founder, Bob Strasser. The box also contains the infamous No Trend “dance” books (presumed lost until recently), as well as several other surprises.

  • Being unavailable for over a year, No Turning Back's second album is finally available again. Completely remastered. No Turning Back have created a devastatingly crushing album with “Damage Done” and a production to do them justice, thanks to the skills of Tue Madsen (Born From Pain, Mnemic, Knuckledust) at the Antfarm Studios in Denmark. Unashamedly New York Hardcore in its delivery, “Damage Done” is going to be the album which catapults No Turning Back to a higher level with it’s bone crushing breakdowns, grooving fast parts and remorseless vocals!(Anger Management Records )
  • Starting in 1997, No Turning Back have been steadily building an impressive career – touring worldwide and becoming a household name in hardcore music. No Turning Back took ten days with the expertise of Dirk Miers at De Studio and Alan Douches at West West Side and simply did what they wanted to: they recorded their best record to date. With album art done by tattoo artist Bas Kahle and guest vocals from Down To Nothing, Cold World and Enemy Ground, No Turning Back delivers a new album that’s not to be missed by anyone who believes in real hardcore. (Reflections Records)
  • Richmond’s NO-HEADS takes cues from classic UK82 bands and would feel right at home in the NO FUTURE or RIOT CITY catalogs. Featuring members of THE VIRUS & MINDSET. US press on Six Feet Under Records. (Refuse Records) https://refuserecords.bandcamp.com/album/pressure-cracks-12
  • Back in stock
The pioneers of skate punk at the peak of their career, supporting their 'Punk In Drublic' classic fifth album, on one of their first festival appearances caught on TV. 100% pure fun hardcore punk. (Mind Control Records)
  • Originally released in 1998 on double LP and CD by Alternative Tentacles, Dance Of The Headless Bourgeoisie was reissued on CD on the band’s own Wrong Records in 2004, but it’s taken them a while to get around to a vinyl reissue. Now Nomeansno fans the world over finally have the chance to enjoy the album in its full gatefold glory. The tenth album from Nomeansno was, and still is, a groundbreaking exploration of social and political lyrical statements and post-punk musical workouts. Back in the day, confused people liked to call this “jazz-punk” or “jazzcore” because it involved more than three chords and shock! horror! time changes! and OMG! slow parts! Gatefold, 180gr vinyl. (Wrong Records)
  • Jubilation) is an EP from Vancouver punk rock band Nomeansno. Released in 2010 on the band's Wrong Records imprint, the four-song EP was issued as a thumb drive and 12" vinyl EP in support of Nomeansno's European tour late in 2010. Limited grey vinyl LP pressing of this EP from the Punk veterans including digital download. Featuring the unique combination of guitars, drums, bass and singing, this highly sought after prize flew off the merch table shelves in the years 2010 and 2011. Now, with all the appropriate fanfare that accompanies such a feat, the JUBILIATION EP is now available everywhere. (Wrong Records)
  • NoMeansNo are a bass-led 3-piece from Canada. Forming in 1979 with brothers Rob (bass and vocals) and John Wright (drums, keyboards and vocals) they made their first recordings in their parents' basement. Musically their influences originated from jazz and prog-rock as much as from punk - which their music is often labeled. Small Parts Isolated And Destroyed was their third full-length first released in 1988 compiled together with the EP The Day Everything Became Nothing, aptly titled The Day Everything Became Isolated And Destroyed. These recordings show NMN at the height of their creativity and their early obsession with social order in its many strands. Albums in heavy printed inner sleeves with lyrics and artwork. (Wrong Records)
  • 2011 release, the third album from the Punk favorites. Nothington prove again that two songwriters are always better than one. The young SF band started out by blending influences like Leatherface and Social Distortion, and they've truly perfected their own sound on Borrowed Time. • NUNS | cbs demos 1977 | LP

    16.00 incl. tax
Together with Crime, the Nuns predated and singlehandedly helped to shape the Punk scene in San Francisco in 1976. Their demos from 1977 seemed to be lost in the mists of time forever, but now here they are, all of them unreleased. An ESSENTIAL piece in the history of vintage American Punk!!! Lost demo recordings of a very underrated band. This is raw early US Punk Rock at its best with a huge Iggy/Stooges edge aided by the wild and abrasive piano that honky tonks all along the way. Sound quality is excellent, without any overdubs or studio gimmicks. A great example of San Francisco 1976 early 1977 Punk Rock, next to CRIME and Mary Monday. Too bad, the record industry was not interested. The 1980 Posh Boy album shares a lot of songs but sounds much tamer than this. (Mabuhay Records)
  • OBSESSIO | same title | LP

    17.00 incl. tax
OBSESSIÓ’s debut is a blast of crude hardcore. Formed during the extremely dark times of August of 2018 and based between Athens and Barcelona the band first statement is an 8 track 12” at 45 rpm which knocks you down with the first chord. Kindly indebted to the living legacy of TOTALITÄR, CRUDITY and other Nordic Beat greats while keeping an unmistakably modern swagger. Breakneck pace and musical manufacture care of three Greeks who have set the stage for Angela’s no doubt bleak summary of the world, whose distinctively intimidating and minimal powerhouse voice crashes across OBSESSIÓ’s music. No songs over 2 minutes, no frills or tricks, no contemplative pondering on delicate matters, and most of all no fucking melody. Recorded, mixed and mastered at Ignite Music Studios in Athens. Sleeve designed by the greatest Teodoro Hernández who effortlessly captures the bleakness and rage contained in this PUNK 45 RPM 12”. Includes digital pre-order of Obsessió MLP. You get 2 tracks now (streaming via the free Bandcamp app and also available as a high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more), plus the complete album the moment it’s released. https://lavidaesunmus.bandcamp.com/album/obsessi-mlp
  • The OFFENDERS were formed in 1978 in Killeen, and after relocating to Austin in 1980, became known worldwide as one of the premiere hardcore bands out of the Lone Star state. Raw and rabid but more than proficient in the delivery of their musical rebellion -- alongside friends and scenemates D.R.I. and M.D.C. -- OFFENDERS completely ruled the hardcore scene throughout the infamous Reagan-era. Southern Lord is honored to present all the band's official recordings harnessed in a weighty 2xLP collection, with the audio fully boosted for this release courtesy of Audiosiege. Reissue features the band's two full-length albums -- Endless Struggle and We Must Rebel, as well as the I Hate Myself / Bad Times 7" -- fitted to two 180-gram slabs of black wax, housed in a gatefold jacket with the original covers and inserts faithfully replicated. (Southern Lord Records)
  • OHYDA | koszmar | LP

    17.00 incl. tax
Sophomore release by Lublin’s OHYDA. Picking up where their Self Titled LP left in 2016 their new 12” ups the feedback, aggression and psychedelic infused hardcore of their previous release to new levels. Sonically OHYDA are dark and anthemic, with a ferocious guitar tone and delay vocals backed up by a extremely solid rhythm section. Not afraid of riffs or creating atmospheric passages leading to explosions of noise full of nightmarish visions of the current world. Imagine ABADDON meeting HAWKWIND at Jarocin festival then using CRESS’s gear to write an album of distorted quasi industrial hardcore. I want to think that if the class of 1984 Polish hardcore had dreamed of what the future would sound it will be close to Koszmar. Recorded by Pawel Chyla at Backyard Studio and Mastered by Daniel Husayn at North London Bomb Factory. Koszmar comes in a heavy reverse board and insert designed by guitarist Mike. (La Vida Es Un Mus Records) https://lavidaesunmus.bandcamp.com/album/koszmar
  • Scotlands anarcho-punk legends are back with a brand new 10″ mini-album. 7 new street crust / prog oi anthems against the fucking system. Three color options housed in a gatefold sleeve with lyrics etc. most are on black vinyl with a limited number on “orange crush” vinyl and a very limited number of “specials” on orange splatter bone vinyl with free SMASH ANTISEMITISM patch. (Fire and Flames Music, Urinal Vinyl Records, Maloka, Profane Existence and Sick World Records)
  • Legendary first Oi Polloi recordings ever from 1984 now re-released limited to 500 copies. Four tracks including one of Oi Polloi’s best anthems ever “Boot down the door”. (Mad Butcher Records)
  • Okkultokrati are keeping their fire alive with their new album La Ilden Lyse, which translates rougly as Keep the Fire Burning, on Southern Lord. La Ilden Lyse is an album of pure, cold, grim rawness. Themes of enduring life, transcending death, worshipping the moon, and triumphant, satanic darkness are all at play here, and the album sounds harder, faster, and more nasty than ever. No more messing around. Keep it black, keep it metal, all the time. (Southern Lord Records) https://okkultokratisl.bandcamp.com/album/la-ilden-lyse
  • Remastered vinyl reissue of the debut and only Omega Tribe album, originally released in late 1983 on Corpus Christi Records. The album was recorded by Guitarist Pete Fender deep in the Poison Girl’s basement studio in Leyton and contains 11 punk anthems with a pop sensibility missed by most of their curse of 1983 peers. Omega Tribe were one of the few bands that had a much more softer, poetic and melodic style of playing that still managed to impress, educate and influence their audiences. It was protest music with a heart and sense of love that still is relevant 35 years later. This album has never been reissued and deserves it's place right next to the Mob - Let the Tribe Increase, Poison Girls - Hex and Zounds - Curse of Zounds. • *LIMITED EDITION INCLUDES 60X40 CM POSTER AND HYPE STICKER. Formed in 1979 in the northern English town of Fleetwood, Lancashire (a former major fishing port that had declined since the 1960s), One Way System was one of the most highly-rated ‘street punk’ groups that spun off from the British hardcore and Oi scenes. Mowhawk-sporting lead singer Gavin Whyte was initially joined by guitarist Craig Halliday, bassist Gaz Buckley and rapid-fire drummer Tez McDonald; the early demos of “Jerusalem,” “Spokesmen For Teenagers” and “1980s” included here were cut with that lineup, before former Zyklon B member David “Crabby” Ross joined as second guitarist, yielding the incendiary single “Stab The Judge” and the No Entry EP, issued by Blackpool’s Lightbeat Records in 1981. Halliday later quit the group and when McDonald joined The Fits, accomplished drummer Tommy Couch brought a totally different musical dimension, his command of the kit well beyond the abilities of most of his contemporaries. In addition to the demos and the Lightbeat material, this compilation also collects the singles and EPs issued by Cherry Red’s Anagram subsidiary between 1982-84, including the inaugural 45, “Give Us A Future.” Tracks 1-3 from 'No Entry' 7", Lightbeat 1982. Tracks 4-5 from 1982 single, Anagram. Tracks 6-11 from 1983 singles, Anagram. Tracks 12-15 from 'Visions Of Angels' 7", Anagram, 1984. Tracks 16-18 are 1982 demos. (Radiation Records)
  • The Vienna hardcore powerhouse is back with their 5th full-length album, Recorded an produced by Tue Madsen & Jacob OLsen at the Antfarm studios in Denmark. Still keeping the traditional, old-school values of hardcore but this time adding some blasting riffs and intense grooves to create their own brands of hardcore. Without a doubt their best album ever. (Super Hero Records)
  • ‘Re-evolve’ is a story of a romantic thinking about the world of peace, respect for human and animal life and earth liberation, meeting the brutality of metal, crust d-beat and harsh but atmospheric guitars. Lyrically, the band touches important sociological issues evolving around one main topic: human greed and selfishness, as according to the band, human thinking needs to re-evolve unless we want to live in the world of wars and exploitation. (Various Labels) https://orphanagenamedearth.bandcamp.com/album/re-evolve
  • Sorry State is pleased to release Out Cold’s Living Is Killing Me, the band’s final statement in their legacy of pure, unadulterated hardcore punk. For the uninitiated, Out Cold is hardcore’s greatest cult band. They flew under the radar for most of their 20-year run, but for those who understand the band’s importance, Out Cold were a truth, and a benchmark for quality. During the tail-end of the 80s, there wasn’t much activity in the world of fast and raging American hardcore. Out Cold was the big exception. Out Cold’s aggression was unwavering, presaging the 80s American Hardcore obsession that flooded the US in the mid-00’s. Formed in 1989 in the town of Dracut, MA, about 30 miles northwest of Boston, Out Cold would stay true to their formula for tried-and-true 80s-style hardcore until they disbanded in 2010. Releasing a slew of records throughout their career, Out Cold’s discography became extensive, each record just as vicious as the one before it. They are hardcore’s most reliable band. For their genre, Out Cold personifies consistency in the same way the Ramones or Motörhead did. You always know what to expect with an Out Cold record: amazing drumming with in-the-pocket rhythmic intensity; urgent, catchy, and tasteful songwriting; dark, misanthropic lyrics; and huge, memorable vocal hooks. While they’ve undergone several lineup changes, Out Cold's foundation has always been drummer John Evicci and guitarist/vocalist Mark Sheehan. Following 2005’s Goodbye Cruel World, John and Mark recorded drum and guitar tracks for two full-lengths worth of material before Mark’s untimely and unfortunate passing in 2010. Rather than letting these new songs fall by the wayside, the band rescued the session from the abyss with Kevin Mertens, Out Cold’s original frontman, coming in to complete the tracks. Half of these songs became 2013’s A Heated Display, the remaining half comprising Living Is Killing Me. After a long wait, we finally get to enjoy a proper send-off for these legends. Having been almost 15 years since the band recorded the basic tracks, Living Is Killing Me bridges two eras of hardcore punk. They conceived the songs during the height of US hardcore’s resurgence, but in 2019 the tracks have a fresh energy. Kevin sounds as ferocious and powerful as he did on the first Out Cold LP, like someone released him from a block of ice to scream once again. The performances are militaristically tight and powerful: 14 bursts of pure fury. All good things must end, but Living Is Killing Me reminds us why Out Cold is one of the best bands ever to play hardcore punk. Released May 17, 2019 on vinyl on Sorry State Records. (Sorry State Records/Kibou Records/Amok Records/Sick World Records) https://sorrystaterecords.bandcamp.com/album/living-is-killing-me
