Guns Of Brixton reissues the 1991 album from Spanish punk band Eskorbuto. Demasiados Enemigos ("Too Many Enemies") is not just the title of another disc by the blazing band from Santurtzi but the album with the difficult duty of putting an end to a legendary combo as we knew it. Eskorbuto was a band of its time and that is shown in every chord and every chorus, branded in fire through the years by those who danced and vibrated around the flames of this cursed band. This is a unique album -- special due to its legacy and the circumstances under which it was recorded. Now it is reissued on vinyl. If you didn't get it at the time or you were too young to know, now you have the chance to request the max from your turntable, not giving a damn if volume affects the structure of the building. Guns Of Brixton Records presents a vinyl reissue -- as rock'n'roll liturgy deserves -- of the fifth album of an independent and combative band like no other. In July of 1988, the most obscure record of Spanish punk band Eskorbuto's discography was released. Vomited from the entrails with the boredom of a life blackened by the soot pouring from the nozzles of the factories of the beaten left bank of the Nervión River. Time had already hardened them and their attitude was plain, above all they were "anti-everything." Las Más Macabras de las Vidas ("The Most Macabre of Lives") is a timeless record and paradoxically sounds fresh again in its vinyl format. It is a great opportunity to once again taste the subtle shades of exasperation that hang around the grooves of the bitterest record from the bitterest band. Eskorbuto inoculates in the listener, harder than ever, the rage and the nihilism of which they were keen transmitters. (Guns Of Brixton Records)

Born Jamesetta Hawkins in January of 1938, Etta James started her career in 1954. She could sing in a variety of genres, and by the early 1960s when she launched her first albums her repertoire was built of blues, jazz, R&B, doo-wop, soul and rock’n’roll tunes, with her powerful, deep voice feeling at home in either of these styles. Etta James’ career expanded over six decades, and she kept active until her death in January of 2012. This double LP compilation selects tracks from her early albums and 45s, and offers a glimpse to the immense talent of this legendary artist. From fabulous vocal jazz tunes like Stormy Weather or Palm Nuts to classics of the blues like Howlin’ Wolf’s Spoonful or Muddy Waters’ I Just Want To Make Love To You (James’ version became very popular when used in a very famous Coca-Cola TV commercial); from delightful ballads like At Last to dance-floor fillers like Seven Day Fool (an extremely popular tune in the Northern Soul scene), here is an excellent selection of songs that set Etta James as a very big name in Afro-American music already at this early stage of her career. One more single followed a cover of Culture Club's 'Karma Chameleon' then they were off. (Maloka Records)

Out of stockBack in stock"Baptised In Shit" is the 1995 debut album of Manchesters crucial-crust institution EXTINCTION OF MANKIND. Reissued via Ruin Nation Records and available again on vinyl for the first time in 17 Years and for the very first time as digital download! Originally published in 1995 by Skuld Releases, written and recorded by the (semi) original line up you find the E.O.M. sound pointing more towards a unique combination of early 80´s UK Peace-Punk like ICONS OF FILTH with a heavy dose of ANTI-SECT influence but with a far superior 90´s production and a really heavy guitar-ridden sound that remind me quite a bit of CELTIC FROST. Tracked, recorded and mixed 1995 at the legendary Whitehouse Studios by Martin Nichols who also took great care in remastering and adjusting the songs from the original DAT master for the digital download that comes with the vinyl. We also restored all the original artwork and the package includes a 12" sized 6 panel folder with all lyrics as well as artwork by Squeal, Nick Blinko and Paul Smith. Also included is a B2 sized version of the Poster that came with the original pressing. First 400 copies come on limited yellow and black marbled vinyl and will be shipped around the 4th of October. Additional black vinyl copies will be delayed to early 2022 so don't sleep on this one. Recorded and mixed by Martin Nichols at Whitehouse Studios 11, 12, 14th May '95. Out of stockAfter 2008's "Hands Off Our Music" 7" (Shortfuse Records) with its furious, brutal delivery, Vienna's COLD WORLD are back with this first full new recording since reuniting + 4 years ago. The focus on COLD WORLD's side of the split 12" with Australia's powerhouse EXTORTION lies on their 80's-Highspeed-Hardcore roots (the 3 core members having played in Austria's premier Hardcore Punk band EXTREM) and early Powerviolence sound which they helped initiate on the European side of the Atlantic with releases on labels such as B-Core and Sound Pollution. However the band is proudly still breaking every rule of the Punk Police, even if this means another 25 years in blastbeat obscurity away from any D-Beat, Noise-Punk, Post-Punk or whatever-hype that just happens to be the retro flavor of the moment. COLD WORLD never fit in anywhere and couldn't care less about changing this situation in 2012. EXTORTION with 11 new Hardcore attacks, you know what you have to expect!!! (Regurgitated Semen Records)

Out of stockThis is it! The best EXTORTION record! Their first full length, finally available again on vinyl. This is a masterpiece of modern powerviolence and in my opinion one of the best Australian hardcore LPs of all time. Don’t miss out on it this time round! Absolutely Essential! Extortion is a Hardcore Punk band from Perth, Western Australia. I absolutely love the vocals. if you like bands like Siege, Infest, Crossed Out, Negative fx, Poison Idea, Nailed Down, Dwarves, No Comment, then this band is for you. Back in stockArguably the most potent musical force Australian music has seen in the last couple years, Perth's EXTORTION are set to launch a fresh attack on the senses with their latest balls-out thrash incursion, "loose screws". A 12 track effort pushes EXTORTION's well-established power-violence sound to face-ripping new extremes. Recorded across 3 continents, the basic tracks were laid down in California by producer Dan Rathbun (Tragedy, His Hero is Gone, Talk Is Poison), then completed vocals in Perth. As one final flourish, UK-based celebrity EXTORTION fan, Barney of NAPALM DEATH, added his unmistakable roar to the aptly titled "grind to a halt". (Deep Six Records / Draw Blank Records)

Out of stockBack in stockNever was a band and its first album both so suitably named as EXTREME NOISE TERROR and their seminal debut full-length, 1989's A Holocaust in Your Head. Simply put, this is one of the key releases of both the crust-punk and grindcore genres, redefining British music's known limits of sonic extremity with its remorseless aggression, blinding speed, and none-more-raw recording. Along with their fellow Britons in Napalm Death, this rag-tag group of hardcore misfits turned metallic innovators are largely seen as being at the forefront of the development Crust. Out of stockBack in stockLimited Edition of 300 copies will have an extra vinyl (in red wax) that will contain 11 superb live tracks recorded from the soundboard at Adam & Eve's, Leeds on 16/04/1986. Ladies and gentlemen, here we go again! Agipunk is stunningly happy to announce the repress of one of the masterpieces of the early era UK crustcore. Phonophobia is a record that inspired thousands of dirty punks all over the world, and having the chance to re-release it is such a honour for us. I don't think we need to introduce this record and this band to any of the people who are reading these lines, but a few words are necessary to explain the value of this product. Phonophobia has originally been recorded and mixed at Southern Studios in London in August 1991. This version has been remixed and remastered by Dean Jones and Phil Vane with additional production at Springvale Studios in Ipswich in October 2009. The sonic assault is now more than ever ear damaging, so prepare your turntable and your eardrums for this final violent assault! 1000 copies will be pressed. (Agipunk Records)
