  • A final repress of the mid ninties classic Skuld release of Portland's DETESTATION. An absolutel classic of nineties anarcho-hardcore punk that sounds like a mix between Nausea & Sacrilege with some influences from old Swedish bands and highly angry socio-political lyrics. Existing between roughly 1995—1998 or so, Detestation was a rather surprisingly prolific group during that time. This repress of the band's 1998 self-titled LP collects some of their finest material. Though the mandatorily interconnected Portland lineup contains pre-/post- ties to Defiance, Masskontroll, Resist, Hellshock, and Severed Head of State, among others, Detestation's rather commonplace brand of 90's crust punk remains a well rooted benchmark for the scene, and with good reason. Thanks in no small part to some scorching female vocals with great vocal arrangements, the band's lightly metallic power chords tended to be a little tighter and more memorable than most, thus Detestation is rightfully remembered as one of the finest of the genre. (Original txt Aversion Online) Includes Lyric Sheet and large Poster. (Skuld Records / Profane Existence /Consensus Reality‎)

The scum of toytown is back! 20 years after their fantastic debut album "Strike", the band from Stevenage (UK) is back together and recorded a brand new full lenght LP in 2014. On here they feature a set of previously unrecorded older material alongside with new songs that sound just as they picked it up again where they left off in 1995. A festival of tuneful but subversive punk-MUSIC (yes, in capitals) merging the drive and rage of anarcho punk with reggae parts and hints of pop and dub groves. Transporting a personal yet punk political message across the listener. Sometimes full on powerful riffage, sometimes furious, sometimes melancolic and melodic, all at the same time, wrapped up in a top notch DIY production. SCUM OF TOYTOWN were a obscure phenomena of the 1990ies, rootet in the North London punk scene of the late 1970ies and 1980ies. They crawled out of the void and managed in their short existence to make a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to catch them either live or on record before they sunk into oblivion for unknown reason. They appeared on festivals and squats in central Europe and making everyone (seriously) move and dance along to their unique style of innovative sounding punkrock. Music that makes you toss a brick with a smile on your face. They left us with their only legacy a 7“ and a genius LP.... ... we're more than happy to have them back with their new album. They haven't lost it, not a single bit! • Includes DOWNLOAD Codes. • Available 1st edition on black vinyl (Ruin Nation Records) https://ruinnationrecords.bandcamp.com/album/cells

Veni Vidi Vicious re-released on silver vinyl. Rousing, stompin' garage rock from these Swedes, with plenty of mod and frantic punk energy to keep you grooving along. Party Party! they seem to be saying, and you just want to join. This is definite change-up from the usual hyperspeed pop-ska-punk dross offered on Epitaph. Perhaps this arises from the fact that these guys are only distributed on Epitaph and yet are actually on the Burning Heart imprint. Plenty of fuzzed, struttin', propulsive guitar work on this disc to assault your ears. Well worth your time to take a spin. More records like this need to exist. (Burning Heart Records)

The Offspring's metal-inflected punk became a popular sensation in 1994, selling over four million albums on an independent record label. While the group's credentials and approach follow the indie rock tradition of the '80s, sonically they sound more like an edgy, hard-driving heavy metal band, with their precise, pulsing power chords and Dexter Holland's flat vocals. Featuring Holland, guitarist Kevin "Noodles" Wasserman, bassist Greg Kriesel, and drummer Ron Welty, the Offspring released their self-titled debut album in 1989. Four years later, their second album, Ignition, became an underground hit, setting the stage for the across-the-board success of 1994's Smash, which still holds the record as the biggest selling indie release of all time. "Hard Times And Nursery Rhymes" builds on singer Mike Ness' twin footings, one in the haunted American landscapes of Hank Williams and the other in the raw swagger of "Exile"-era Rolling Stones. While these twin pillars have always been behind Social Distortion's anthemic songs, on "Hard Times And Nursery Rhymes" they come roaring to the fore, in one of the hardest rocking, most soulful albums of Ness' career. For fans of The Gaslight Anthem, Rancid, Bad Religion, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen and Tiger Army. Vinyl version includes two additional tracks. (Epitaph Records)

White vinyl limited to 100 copies. 120 SONGS of abominable Noisecore ferocity! 1989... members of SOUND POLLUTION, ROTTING CHRIST and Scut from 7 MINUTES OF NAUSEA team of for a bloody nightmare of merciless aural butchery. This recording has remained a complete obscurity for 3 decades and only circulated among a small circle of band members' friends and diehard tape collectors. If you dig the late 80's short song Noisecore formula adopted by bands like Sore Throat, 7MON, Tumor to surpass all the limits of extremism conceived until then, this is exactly that kind of thing. Lightning fast blast beats, horrific distortion and rotting sick vocals is what you'll get in 20 minutes of cacophonous tortures. One sided LP with silk screened art on B-side. Including liner notes written by Spryos (F.O.A.D. Records)
  • The sixth album from UK based politically charged punk band The Restarts. Their time, toil and devotion to empowering and improving the lives of people, locally and globally - both as a band, and as individuals in the work they do outside of the band is something not to be ignored. Color vinyl, green/white splatter. This is the 6 tack mini LP release from this amazing new Canadian band from Vancouver, Canada. Fronted by Greg Huff and supported by others formerly of bands including ALTERNATE ACTION, THE LANCASTERS, SUBWAY THUGS and GLORY STOMPERS, this is the perfect next step in the evolution of those bands. The sound is still raw yet melodic and catchy, but done with so much more skill and precision than all the aforementioned bands. Fans of catchy singalong street-punk rock 'n' roll and bands like THE BUSINESS and COCK SPARRER can buy this record without hesitation. Colored (yellow) vinyl comes with updated cover artwork and includes a digital download card. (Pirates Press Records)

MUNICIPAL WASTE have taken hardcore and thrash-metal from the dour, rule-setting fools and have given it back to the partying thrashers! After their much acclaimed 7" was followed up by their split with CRUCIAL UNIT, they re-entered the studio for more mayhem. These 15 new blazing tracks have the hallmark crossover fury of old bands like D.R.I, HIRAX, and NUCLEAR ASSAULT with machine gun vocals and ripping speed metal riffs. Mix it up with totally hilarious lyrics and parodies on their influences and the scene in general and these guys are the definition of fun. (Six Weeks Records)

The Ramones are the first punk rock band. Other bands, such as the Stooges and the New York Dolls, came before them and set the stage and aesthetic for punk, and bands that immediately followed, such as the Sex Pistols, made the latent violence of the music more explicit, but the Ramones crystallized the musical ideals of the genre. Pressed on 180-gram vinyl with all original replica packaging, including printed inner sleeves. Lacquers cut from the original analog masters by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering. DIE-HARD DARK PURPLE vinyl limited to 100 copies. Do you remember the days when TNT&Records and Psychomania were delivering on monthly bases some of the most disturbing, nihilistic Noisecore putridity the planet had ever faced? We’re talking of 7MON, AxC, STENCH OF CORPSE, BUKA, MEAT SHITS, EXTREME SMOKE, early CRIPPLE BASTARDS and tons more.. Well, SOUND POLLUTION from Greece belong to that cult-infused era and their split 7″ with ROTTING CHRIST (when they were still a total Grind band) has a special place in the heart of all the sickos worshipping that underground niche crossing all the barriers set by Hardcore, Thrash and Grind until then. This shortly lived hellenic horde was feared for some of the nastiest, annihilating Noise/Grind terror that recalled influences from early Napalm Death, Sore Throat, 7MON (with whom they also shared a split demo). Here you get their complete discography consisting of: “Practic holocaust” Demo (1988), Split tape with 7 Minutes Of Nausea (1989) and “The other side of life” split 7″ with ROTTING CHRIST (1989). 52 tracks of pristine sonic aberration, retransferred from the original reels/tapes provided by the band and mastered for vinyl at Toxic Basement Studio. Comes with an insert and booklet including liner notes, photos, flyers and original demos / 7″ art! (F.O.A.D. Records)

Formed in 1978 and regulars at Belfast punk haunts The Harp Bar and The Pound by 1980, The Defects achieved only local recognition until their debut 45 Dance (Til You Drop) was released through their own Casualty imprint in 1981. Selling out of its initial 2,000 pressing, the single led to a deal with London’s WXYZ label which released The Defects’ lone studio LP Defective Breakdown in 1982, netting them an Indie Top 10 success and a high-profile support slot on label mates The Anti-Nowhere League’s controversial So What UK tour into the bargain. Thirty six years on, Defective Breakdown remains one of the superior punk platters from the UK82 era. It hardly reinvents punk’s wheel, but the best of its impassioned, UK Subs-style gob-athons (Killer On The Streets, We Don’t Care) still convince, while the fizzing, hormonal rush of the Buzzcocks-y Deprived and the ritualistic, Killing Joke-esque power of Survival both provide signposts to future roads the Antrim boys could have taken. Ultimately, though, outside forces would decide The Defects’ fate. With punk’s second wave quickly running out of steam and their ill-conceived cover of Elvis Presley’s Suspicious Minds stiffing, they abruptly split after supporting the reconstituted Clash at Belfast’s Ulster Hall in February 1984. Official reissue with bonus tracks. (Restless Empire Records)

Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell is the fourth studio album by the American band Social Distortion. It continues the melding of country and rockabilly influences with punk that began two albums before with the album Prison Bound. Clear influences include Hank Williams and Johnny Cash. The album also marks the first time that a Social Distortion line-up had not changed in three consecutive studio recordings. The American punk rock band Social Distortion formed in 1978 in Fullerton, California. Frontman of the band is vocalist, guitar player and main songwriter Mike Ness. Since its inception the band lineup has been a virtual revolving-door of talent, with many members coming and going with the only constant member being Ness. Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell is available as a limited edition of 2.500 individually numbered copies on purple vinyl.

Smart Alex is the third studio album by punk band the Adicts. It was released in September 1985 by Razor Records. The Adicts were an influential and idiosyncratic British punk outfit formed in the late '70s in Ipswich, Suffolk by lead singer Monkey (Keith Warren), guitarist Pete Davidson, bassist Mel Ellis, and drummer Kid Dee (Michael Davison). Originally operating under the moniker Afterbirth & the Pinz, the quartet began performing as the Adicts in 1979, and quickly became known for their wry lyrics, ferocious yet upbeat sonic attack, and distinctive image -- the band affected the look of the black boots and bowler cap-adorned "droogs" from the film A Clockwork Orange, and peppered their live shows with streamers, confetti, playing cards, beach balls, joker hats, toy instruments, bubbles, and glitter. They released their debut EP, Lunch with the Adicts, in 1979 via the Dining Out label, and in 1981 they issued their inaugural full-length, Songs of Praise, independently on their own Dwed Wecords -- the LP was reissued the following year on Fallout Records, and included the single "Viva la Revolution," which would become one of the group's best-loved tracks.
