  • Legendary L.A. hardcore punk band the Circle Jerks change their approach a bit on their major-label debut, Oddities, Abnormalities and Curiosities. The album contains 12 songs that lean more toward a punk-inspired hard rock approach than their earlier hardcore sound. The tracks on this effort are also longer than many of their earlier recordings. Compared to their early classic “In Your Eyes,” which runs all of 46 seconds, “Sinking Ship,” at three minutes and 48 seconds, is practically an epic. This may be a change of pace, but it isn’t necessarily a bad thing. This set still displays plenty of the trademarks that make the Circle Jerks so endearing, including Keith Morris’ distinct howling vocal style, Greg Hetson’s great guitar work, and their unmistakable sense of humor. Nowhere on this album, or possibly in the band’s entire career, has their sense of humor been so prominently on display than on their cover of the Soft Boys’ “I Wanna Destroy You,” which features guest vocals by none other than former teen queen Debbie Gibson. This collaboration is not only brilliant but could only be pulled off by the Circle Jerks. “22,” “Teenage Electric,” and “Fable” are straightforward rockers that set the tone for rest of the album. Although the mainstream sound and more polished production may alienate a few early fans who are looking for something more hardcore, this is an excellent hard rock album with few weak spots along the way. • 'Scrapmetal' was Civilised Society's debut album (1986) and way ahead of its time. Featuring ex-Instigators drummer and Peaceville, Hammy, the band had some good coverage for this album from the metal press. 'Scrapmetal' was early type of hardcore/punk/metal crossover album which could have gained more attention then it actually did. However, John Peel opened hiss radio show with 'The Fairer Sex' on several occaisions and even Tommy Vance played the aalbum on his show although he the band was Scrapmetal and the song Civilised Society?!! Civilised Society worked really hard in those days and gigged a lot eveen supporting MDC at Hammersmith at last minutes notice! 'Scrapmetal' contained 14 songs altogether which varied from a wide range of topics. They were very politically orientated with attitude which made a refreshing from the norm of metal bands. As said before, the album was ahead of its time and although it recieved some good airplay and reviiews in Kerrang! and Metal Forces magazines, the band found it increasingly difficult to strike out to the metal audience in general. The hardcore crowd was always in strong attendence but Civilised Society? wanted and needed to branch out and encompass different audiences. This they tried to do in many ways.

Aggressive, furious, and on the flip side, incredibly validating thrashy politically charged Hardcore Punk. I've been waiting for this album for a while and it blew my expectations out of the water. One of the best Punk releases of 2019, no question. Favorite track: Trans is Beautiful. Doing time in more bands than need be mentioned, CLITERATI is made up of four friends who’ve been churning out punk, power violence, grind, and death metal for much of their lives. Influenced by everything from Bolt Thrower and L7 to Doom and Necrot, together these lifelong extreme music fans spew forth a distinctly riotous brand of unforgiving/unforgettable d-beat/thrash crust. Over a year in the making, Ugly Truths / Beautiful Lies is a ripping fifteen-track/thirty-two-minute socio-political exposé on the USA’s divisive administration with humor and quick wit. Having performed over a hundred shows in that time, test driving many of the tracks live, CLITERATI is sharper and more ravenous than ever before. Ugly Truths / Beautiful Lies was recorded by longtime comrade Greg Wilkinson (Necrot, High On Fire) and mastered by Joel Grind (Toxic Holocaust, Power Trip) with cover art by legendary Japanese artist Sugi (Doom, Death Side, Hellshock) whose illustration reflects a personal interpretation of Ugly Truths / Beautiful Lies’ title track. Michigan-based grindcore cult heroes Cloud Rat return with Pollinator, the band's most intense and blistering recordings to date.Over the past ten years, Cloud Rat has established itself as one of the most compelling bands in the underground. Over a staggering number of releases – four full-length albums, eleven EPs and splits, a live album, and various other comps, in one decade – the Michigan band has made a name for itself via sheer emotion and musical freedom.NPR Music called Cloud Rat's 2013 album, Moksha, "a feral, fearsome and fearless piece of work." Noisey described a live show in 2015 with these words: "Cloud Rat is one of those rare bands whose music connects instantly, painfully – you feel the words, the riffs, and the all-consuming cacophony deep within the marrow of your bones, vibrating out into a hostile world."Emerging from the space where hardcore punk spirals into grindcore, Cloud Rat is that and so much more. The band knows no limits and incorporates influences from across the map – black metal, noise, doom, goth, folk, and beyond – all while retaining its realness and urgency. Cloud Rat have taken grind to the next level on Pollinator, and it's vicious. 2CD limited edition first pressing, comes in a double-digipak. Includes the bonus mini-album Do Not Let Me Off The Cliff. • For many, this band needs no introduction, as they are indeed legends in a vibrant scene stretching across the world. At the same time, for anyone not part of that category, they are far-and-away the best band that you've not heard yet. This full length, their sixth, in 45 years as a band, truly exemplifies how incredible and how special this band is.
Rather than follow the all-too-common trajectory of releasing a new full length every few years, and following it up with tour after tour, sparrer really remained selective with the new music they've chosen to release, and the gigs they are willing to play – and for many people, that is what really sets them apart. There is no ‘fluff’ - ever!
All of their albums are classics, and this one is soon-to-be as well. Hit after hit, hook after hook, sing-along after sing-along and jam packed with substance, “Forever" is an album that will be treasured by hundreds of thousands of fans for decades to come.
One would assume that this is the last full length that we will see from these legends; and a fitting one it is indeed. These best-of-friends wear their hearts on their sleeves, and bring an intensity and emotional component to everything that they do – whether it is recording new tracks, or getting on stage to thoroughly impress thousands of fans with their incomparable and truly spectacular live performances. This album does nothing short of illustrate that perfectly. 180gr black vinyl.

  • DELUXE VINYL EDITION!!! "Greatest Hits Vol. 1" is the first album by the Punk/Oi! legends Cockney Rejects, originally released in 1980. Despite the title, it is not a greatest hits compilation. Though they didn’t get around to (allegedly) naming the genre of Oi! until their second album, working class football hooligans Cockney Rejects went a long way towards defining the sound. The raw street punk on the cheekily titled "Greatest Hits Vol. 1" dismisses English punk’s art-schooled class of ‘77 to embrace the everyday Brit who drinks a pint or two while watching his favorite football team. (Let The Eat Vinyl)
  • DELUXE VINYL EDITION!!! "Greatest Hits Vol. 2" is the second album by the Punk/Oi! legends Cockney Rejects, originally released in 1980. Despite the title, it is not a greatest hits compilation. Cockney Rejects spawned a punk sungenre, and that subgenre is Oi- the dirty, ugly, and more politically charged troublesome cousin of punk. This album is the essence of it- sloppy, catchy riffs that are accompanied by pummeling bass lines, steady but uncapable drumming, and punky vocal wailing which sounds like a more polished Johnny Rotten. Tracks 1-14 originally released in 1980 on the LP of the same name by EMI Records (UK) (ZONO 102). Tracks 15-19 originally released on 7" singles. (Let The Eat Vinyl)
  • DELUXE VINYL EDITION! White vinyl. "The Power and the Glory" is the third studio album by Punk/Oi! Legends Cockney Rejects, originally released in 1981. Quite a departure from their original Oi! sound, this is an Oi!/hard rock crossover album, complete with an acoustic ballad, keyboards and an overall rock, perhaps even verging on traditional metal sound.  (Let The Eat Vinyl)

Long awaited vinyl reissue for one of the hidden gems of California punk rock. Sick Pleasure formed in 1980 when guitarist Michael Fox, future co-owner of San Francisco's legendary punk and industrial label Subterranean, teamed up with skaters Sal Paradise and Dave Chavez, and the infamous Nikki Sicki. The band lasted until 1982 when it just "wasn't fun anymore". At this point, Sick Pleasure had no material on wax and it seemed as if they would have gone down in history as another forgotten band of the hardcore era. The three members aside from Nikki went on to form Code Of Honor and Nikki went on to form Verbal Abuse in Houston. This was in late 1981, when Michael Fox's new roommate Jonhitin Christ, also the singer in the SF punk band Society Dog, stepped in on vocals and formed Code Of Honor. In later 1982, after Code Of Honor had established themselves, they released a split record featuring songs by both bands. Fully authorized by the original label and by founding member for both bands, Sal Paradise, finally you get an affordable alternative to fill in that void in your California punk record collection. • COKE BUST | confined | LP

    12.50 incl. tax
Washington DC's COKE BUST deliver nine more raging blasts of full on hardcore in its rawest and most primal form. "Confined," the band's latest release on Grave Mistake since 2011's "Degradation" EP, is their most intense work to date; which says a lot considering the sheer ferocity of the band's previous output. This is no surprise however, considering Coke Bust have spent the past seven years of their existence refusing to rest on their laurels; constantly refining their style and successfully outdoing themselves with each release. For the unacquainted, Coke Bust deliver their own brand of no frills fast hardcore, taking cues from bands like SIEGE, INFEST, and YOUTH OF TODAY. Fully embracing the "less is more" philosophy, the fat has been completely trimmed on "Confined," leaving nothing but prime cut at 45 revolutions per minute. • Maxime Smadja has held many positions of note in some of the more exceptional French underground groups of recent years. For instance, you might know him as the beastly beat keeper behind Paris' RIXE or the songwriter behind the ever so catchy BOSS. Channeling the brightest moments of the classic compilation series "chaos en france" combined with an execution so precise and well crafted that it carries that undeniable trademark of Smadja's many other contributions. Previously only available on a pair of scarcely pressed and circulated tapes, Beach Impediment Records is ecstatic to further the circulation of these songs on the vinyl format. Comes with nice poster. (Beach Impediment Records)
  • CONFLICT | conclusion | LP

    13.00 incl. tax
Long-running U.K. anarcho punks Conflict hardly need an introduction. This is a reissue of their 1993 album which saw the band incorporating keyboards, synths, horns, and even some ska and death rock influences. While their previous albums It’s Time to See Who’s Who and Increase the Pressure were much more rooted in hardcore punk, Conclusion offers a more challenging listen with songs clocking in at over nine minutes, with spoken word and operatic song structures. It’s probably not what I would ever recommend as a go-to or classic (their previously mentioned first two records are where I’d start with) but twenty-four years later, this album still stands the test of time and holds up about as well as anything that came out that year. The unlisted final song is perhaps the band at its most ferocious and worth the price of admission alone. –Juan Espinosa (Papagájův Hlasatel Records)
  • For decades, UK thrash metal has been the most underrated and overlooked member of the metal family. Criminally ignored, and considered secondary to its American, German and Brazilian equivalents, the genre has nevertheless continued to survive and thrive, rising from the ashes on more than one occasion. There can be no denying that the UK’s thrash scene has generated a wealth of amazing music, often in the face of adversity and apathy, and Contract In Blood tells the whole story – warts ‘n’ all. From humble DIY beginnings in backstreet pubs to misrepresentation in the music press and being misunderstood by major labels on the world stage and beyond… Featuring VENOM / ONSLAUGHT / SABBAT / EVILE / XENTRIX / SLAMMER / GAMA BOMB / ACID REIGN / RE- ANIMATOR / LAWNMOWER DETH / ENGLISH DOGS / MUTANT / VIRUS / D.A.M. / SACRILEGE / DEATHWISH / TORANAGA / WARFARE / PITIFUL REIGN / HYDRA VEIN / SHRAPNEL / HELLBASTARD / SYLOSIS / METAL MESSIAH / SSS / PURGATORY / SEND MORE PARAMEDICS / WARHAMMER / TORTOISE CORPSE / ANIHILATED / SUICIDE WATCH / CEREBRAL FIX / SEVENTH ANGEL / HOLOSADE / METAL DUCK / ATOMKRAFT / DECIMATOR / PENDEMIA / REIGN OF FURY / AMNESIA / OBLITERATION / DRUNKEN STATE / ADRENICIDE and over fifty more of the UK’s unsung metal anti-heroes, Contract In Blood is a classic underdog story, packed with hundreds of new and exclusive interviews, unseen photography and first-hand accounts of the scene, from artists spanning over thirty-five years of fast, aggressive and inescapable music. This is the definitive account of UK thrash. Critically acclaimed music historian Ian Glasper’s name has become synonymous with documenting the UK’s thriving, aggressive musical underground. His previous titles, ‘The Day The Country Died’, ‘Burning Britain’, ‘Trapped In A Scene’ and ‘Armed With Anger’ have all become cult classics, and the last words on their respective genres. From punk and anarcho-punk to hardcore, and now thrash metal, Ian’s work is renowned for its minute detail, his passion and knowledge and, most importantly, his deep immersion in the scene itself, ensuring unparalleled access to those who made the music.

  • "Se Hace por los Suenos Asesinos" is probably the most sought-after Corrupted album. Released back in 2004 through Japan's HG Fact label, in an initial run of 1000 copies (which sold out within the first week!), this cult album has never been repressed ever since. - With more than 300 people wanting this on Discogs alone, and prices going from 45 up to 100 Eur, Corrupted and Throne decided it was time for a repress. Comes on 140gr. black vinyl, limited to 800 copies worldwide. 350gr. gatefold sleeve and polylined black-inked paper bags. Sealed "There isn't really a band that can compare to the deadly force of Corrupted. The easily disheartened should avoid the hopeless black sky blocking heaven's view that hovers over the opening track. The weak willed should stay out of the dark tsunami that consumes and destroys in the latter two. Listen at your own risk". — 4.5 / 5 "Superb" (Sputnikmusic) (Throne Records)

    CRISIS | kollectiv | 2xLP

    22.00 incl. tax

For the first time ever, the three Crisis singles are officially re-released on Vinyl along with demos from 77 and 78 and a simply stunning sounding live set from Norway in 1979.  The debut 7" from 1978 on Action Group Records, 'No Town Hall'  features three stonewall punk classics. The next two singles 'UK79' and 'Alienation' make up the four tracks recorded for a John Peel Session in 1978. The lyrics are a product of the time against a backdrop of street fights with the National Front, violence at gigs, institutional racism within the police force, class division, industrial strife, sexual repression… Upon reflection not much has really changed in the last 35 years! Also included are demo tracks from 1977 and 1978 which are raw and basic punk just as you would expect. They have never been officially released on vinyl before. Sides Three and Four features a live set recorded when Crisis played Norway in 1979 which features all of the material that later turned up on ‘Hymns Of Faith’. The sound quality of the recording is so good it would pass as a studio recording.
The record comes housed in a tip on heavyweight sleeve with detailed liner notes, reviews, interviews, and a few unseen group photos. The sleeve picture taken in Kiev in 2012 couldn't be more relevant, capturing the Zeitgeist - which was part of what Punk was all about in the first place.

  • During the 1980s, a time of conflict among alternative and increasingly tribal musical subcultures, an interesting compromise began to take form in the hardcore, punk and metal worlds. Blending the musical and visual elements of all three, this scene within several scenes came to be known as Crossover. Pulling together bands from diverse subcultural backgrounds (including the Skinhead, Oi and Anarcho scenes) to create a unique fusion whose appeal reached out to a large proportion of each of their fans, the movement was nevertheless overlooked by purists from each side. But inarguably, Crossover (or "Speedcore" as some came to call it), lent a fresh air to a metal scene at risk of stagnation, and brought a welcome atmosphere of experimentation to punk rock. Crossover The Edge contains in-depth features on over 100 key bands from the scene's 1980s heyday, including Agnostic Front, Cro Mags, Crumbsuckers, Leeway, Gang Green, Nuclear Assault, Lethal Aggression, D.R.I., Corrosion of Conformity, Impulse Manslaughter, Verbal Abuse, Attitude Adjustment, Suicidal Tendencies, Excel, Beowulf, Dr. Know, Septic Death, Cryptic Slaughter, Accused, Dayglo Abortions, Discharge, Broken Bones, English Dogs, Sacrilege, Warfare, Raw Power, Rumble Militia, Lobotomia, Overkill L.A., Mentors, Void and Amebix. Another 500 bands are also featured briefly. Format Paperback | 600 pages Publisher Cherry Red Records.

  • Another reissue of a cold war era hc/punk classic and the arrow aims again at Scandinavia, this time to the neighbouring country – Sweden. Early 80’s saw several bands emerging from here that were more or less drawing on DISCHARGE, but mostly went even more hardcore. We’re talking about ANTI CIMEX among the first, then also about AVSKUM, MOB 47, MODERAT LIKVIDATION, DISARM and – of course – about CRUDE SOCIETY SYSTEM. Apart from a demo and numerous compilation tracks CRUDE SS officially released just one 7” EP. This appeared in 1983 on Uproar Records and has become an undisputed classic of Swedish hardcore. It carries six blasting tracks of unique, aggressive and furious hardcore punk thrash with clear roots in DISCHARGE, GBH and UK punk in genreral, but also with obvious influence of Californian CRUCIFIX etc. Raw sound, elaborated yet still straight-forward riffs completed with angry English lyrics against arms race, capitalism, animal abuse or destruction of nature. If you’re wondering where did such bands like MASSKONTROLL or FRAMTID get inspiration from, you should listen to this EP. Coming out after 28 years as a band-authorised official reissue, its whole layout sticks as close as possible to the original issue, including such details as runout groove engravings or typing errors on labels. This is the long out of print (on vinyl) LP that was made from the Dirty Rotten EP. It’s the orginal mix, master and song order. The band realized once they saw the prices on things that to do their 22 song 7″ as a 12″ would only cost a little more. So with that they did it and the ‘Dirty Rotten EP’ became the ‘Dirty Rotten LP. With more space between the grooves the songs became even louder and more intense then before. (Beer City Records)

    20.00 incl. tax
Classic record available once again on vinyl. Originally released in 1986, Brian Baker (Minor Threat) and Dave Smalley (DYS, ALL, DOWN BY LAW) pretty much laid the blueprint for all "melodic hardcore" for decades to come with this LP. Arguably the best DAG NASTY record, a must have in anyones collection. (Dischord Records)
  • Dag With Shawn was recorded on Halloween Day 1985 and features the original line-up of the band with Shawn Brown on vocals. Initially, songs from this session were to be released as a four-song 7" on Dischord, but shortly after the recording Shawn left Dag Nasty and the tape was shelved. In early 1986 the band re-recorded the entire album with new vocalist Dave Smalley and released it as Can I Say.

This recording, taken from restored master tapes, was mastered at Chicago Mastering Service. The 12" LP features a free MP3 download. (Dischord Records)
  • Originally released in 1987, this classic album was remastered and recut and features updated graphics. Certain songs on here actually sound like they could have belonged on "can i say" but other songs show an obvious progression with Baker using Doug's different vocal style to try something different. Vinyl includes a digital download card. (Dischord Records)

  • DANZIG | danzig | LP

    16.00 incl. tax
Re-issue of the first Us pressing without the Danzig logo on cover. Danzig debuts with a record of simple, pounding, bluesy metal featuring lead singer Glenn Danzig’s trademark Elvis-meets-Jim Morrison bellow and outlandishly dark, evil lyrics. There isn’t a great deal of musical variety or complexity here, but the band powers its way through such signature tunes as Twist of Cain, Am I Demon, and the (future) hit Mother with a primal energy. Plus, Danzig’s tongue-in-cheek posturing as the ultimate unholier-than-thou heavy metal frontman gives the record a definite appeal, even if one is not inclined to view his theatrics as dangerous or threatening. With James Hetfield from Metallica on backing vocals. (Def American Recordings/Unofficial Release)

  • Second 12” from this Philadelphia band that wears their Ramones influence on their collective sleeve. However, Dark Thoughts has always seemed like a hardcore band playing melodic, Ramones-inspired punk rather than a true pop-punk band, as evidenced by the Negazione and Betong Hysteria shirts members often wear when they play live. I’ve always said that dressing like you’re from one scene but playing music in the style of another is a sure path to success, but in actuality Dark Thoughts’ secret sauce is their incredible songwriting. At Home, while sounding very similar to their great first LP, strikes me as an improvement. The songs feel snappier and more direct (the LP also feels shorter, but I haven’t checked whether it is) and the Ramones influence is closer to the surface. Dark Thoughts don’t just ape superficial aspects of the Ramones’ sound, though. The big riff (and even bigger vocal melody) in “Psycho Ward” sounds like it could have been a deep cut hit off Halfway to Sanity or Brain Drain, while “Don’t Wanna” is just as clear an homage to Leave Home as the record’s artwork. As someone who was never hardcore enough to sell off my Screeching Weasel records, I’m right in Dark Thoughts’ key demographic. If, like me, you thought that the pop-punk section of your record collection was no longer accepting new entries, I suggest you board this bandwagon. • Founded in 2017, Data Fragments are Stathis Leontiadis, widely known as Doric (Human Puppets, Exetix), a mastermind of analogue synthesizers, now on the bass, Panagiotis Dedepsidis (Komodia Thanatou) on vocals and ingenious, new wave guitars, previously widely praised on Komodia Thanatou's self titled LP and Panos Dimopoulos (Komodia Thanatou) one of today's most charismatic bass players, on a different, more avant-garde role on synthesizers. The three produced a crystal clear, post punk chronicle, full of blatant manifestos and nostalgia, embraced by nihilistic, insurgent lyrics creating a record not only worthy of its new wave forefathers but a stimuli to all contemporary musicians. Their live - all sold out - performances underscore this truth and make this release a future classic. The LP which came out last year and sell out after some months is out for the second time in a mix pink/cyan vinyl in 140 hand-numbered copies. (Geheimnis Records)
  • Despite releasing records only on independent labels and receiving virtually no radio play, Dead Kennedys routinely top both critic and fan polls as the greatest punk band of the late 1970s and early 1980s. Their sound was inventive and tetchy, and front man Jello Biafra's lyrics were incisive and often scathing. This chronicle--the first in-depth book written about Dead Kennedys--uses dozens of firsthand interviews, photos, and original artwork to offer a new perspective on a group that was mired in controversy almost from its inception. It examines and applauds the band's key role in transforming punk rhetoric, both polemical and musical, into something genuinely threatening and enormously funny. Author Alex Ogg puts the local and global trajectory of punk into context and, while not flinching from the wildly differing takes the individual band members have on the evolution of the band, attempts to be celebratory--if not uncritical. • Recorded in 1986, this is DEAD KENNEDYS' final studio album and these 21 tracks saw the band take a more "thrashy" edge to their sound, resulting in some of their most fast and intense tracks. The tracks have been digitally-remastered from the original studio tapes. (Let Them Eat Vinyl)
  • First released in 1985, this is the infamous psychedelic-edged hardcore release that caused such a sensation with the subsequent censorship trial and features songs like "mtv - get off the air". (Let Them Eat Vinyl)
  • Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables is the debut studio album by the American punk rock band Dead Kennedys. It was first released on September 2, 1980 through Cherry Red Records in the United Kingdom and later issued by Jello Biafra's own Alternative Tentacles label in the United States. The best selling and generally the most critically acclaimed album by Dead Kennedys, Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables has become a major staple of American punk. It is the only Dead Kennedys album to feature drummer Ted and guitarist 6025. (Restless Empire Records)

  • Bridge Nine's first 12" LP vinyl release, Death Threat's "Peace & Security" album. Originally released on CD the year before by Triple Crown Records, this album was re-issued on vinyl with alternate cover artwork. The first pressing has a more muted cover art (with a very glossy surface & it's difficult to see the low contrast illustration of the bombs on the front and back). An edition of 40 copies on blue vinyl were made available at the Bridge Nine "Triple Release" in Providence, Rhode Island when the band played with American Nightmare, Shark Attack & The Hope Conspiracy and it features a metallic copper spray painted Death Threat logo on 12" picture disc sleeves. 15 years later, this album was re-released from the same original plates in a 2nd pressing, with the same (albeit better contrast) cover art & an updated inner sleeve. White vinyl. (Bridge 9 Records) https://bridge9.bandcamp.com/album/peace-security

Includes s/t EP 7" (1984) + Falling 12" (1984) + "Warlords" ("Half Skull" Comp.7)". This collection of 16 bone crushing tracks from punk revivalists Decry. Decry was a major band in the '80s L.A. punk scene, even playing gigs with a young Guns N Roses, before going their separate ways - drummer Pat Muzingo went on to join punk/metal outfit Junkyard. Decry formed in 1982 in Monrovia, California. They are often credited as one of the leading bands of the 1980s punk revival. From 1983-1986 the band toured the US quite a few times and was featured on many radio shows such as Rodney on the Roq. Many bands opened for Decry such as Guns and Roses, L.A. Guns, Raw Power, Corrosion of Conformity, and CH3 to name a few. (Cleopatra Records/2015)
  • In 1989 Dee Dee Ramone fled both New York and The Ramones and headed to Europe. After a brief aborted link-up with Stiv Bators and Johnny Thunders in Paris, he moved to London intending to seek out fellow punk rock contemporaries with a plan for a fresh start and to form a new band. DeeDee was introduced by mutual friend Brian James (ex Damned/Lords of the New Church) to Alan Lee Shaw (ex Rings/Maniacs) and George Butler (ex Lighting Raiders) and a band formed with the proposed name of Dee Dee Ramone’s Deadline. With rehearsals underway, Alan on bass /backing vocals, George drums and Dee Dee guitar/lead vocals, the project was soon up and running and in the process of negotiating a recording deal with Overground Records, the release would be promoted with a UK tour, when due to unforeseen circumstances (unfortunately the state of Dee Dee’s fragile mental/physical shape), the project was sadly and frustratingly brought to an abrupt end, before any studio recordings or gigs could be completed. The demos from 1989 are the only recordings that occurred. They are works in progress, forming an important historical record that show flashes of Dee Dee’s genius as one of punk’s most important original songwriters. The songs never appeared on any of Dee Dee’s other releases and but for this recently re-discovered tape would have been lost forever. All eight tracks from 1989 the session are released as a limited edition 10” of 400 copies. Track listing: Jumping Jack / What About This? / One Way / I Got A Right / My Baby Only Loves Me This Way / She’s Dreg From My Heart And Back / I Can’t Come Out / Human Being Parade (Overground Records)
  • Deep Wound was the first band from J Mascis and Lou Barlow (later Dinosaur Jr.) in the early 80s. But if you now expect guitar rock and grunge, you are completely wrong, because the band played incredibly fast, complex hardcore for the time, which easily reached the level of the other Boston bands (Jerry's Kids, Negative FX, SSD, ...). The only 7'' with 9 tracks has been booted several times and is rightly considered an absolute classic. In addition to the tracks of the above 7'' there are also the two songs from compilation  "Bands That Could Be God" and the 13 songs from the first demo. If you like original Boston Hardcore and do not already have the songs in another form, it would be a good idea to access them here. Tracks A1 to A9 were originally released as "Deep Wound" 7" on Radiobeat Records in 1983. Tracks A10 and A11 were originally released on the compilation "Bands That Could Be God" on Radiobeat Records in 1984. Tracks A12 to B12 were originally released as "1982 Demo". Fast Freight is the new album from Deniz Tek with Art and Steve Godoy. Art and Steve are internationally known skateboard stars, tattooists and punk rockers. They have been in Deniz' solo band for more than 20 years. The first album they appeared on with Deniz was Glass Eye World, billed as Deniz Tek and the Golden Breed . Deniz, originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, is known as a founding member of the Australian based band Radio Birdman. He has maintained a prolific career in both live performance and recording. His work spans multiple decades. He has toured extensively in Australia, North America, Europe, and Asia. He is an inductee in the Australian Music Hall of Fame and was voted number 7 of the top 100 Australian guitarists of all time by Australian Guitar Magazine. Fast Freight is basic, no-frills electric guitar rock and roll with a punk edge, recorded and mixed entirely on vintage analog equipment. Following the recent all-instrumental Lost For Words, and the rock album Mean Old Twister, replete with keyboard and horn arrangements, Fast Freight is a return to basic roots. (Wild Honey Records)

  • A final repress of the mid ninties classic Skuld release of Portland's DETESTATION. An absolutel classic of nineties anarcho-hardcore punk that sounds like a mix between Nausea & Sacrilege with some influences from old Swedish bands and highly angry socio-political lyrics. Existing between roughly 1995—1998 or so, Detestation was a rather surprisingly prolific group during that time. This repress of the band's 1998 self-titled LP collects some of their finest material. Though the mandatorily interconnected Portland lineup contains pre-/post- ties to Defiance, Masskontroll, Resist, Hellshock, and Severed Head of State, among others, Detestation's rather commonplace brand of 90's crust punk remains a well rooted benchmark for the scene, and with good reason. Thanks in no small part to some scorching female vocals with great vocal arrangements, the band's lightly metallic power chords tended to be a little tighter and more memorable than most, thus Detestation is rightfully remembered as one of the finest of the genre. (Original txt Aversion Online) Includes Lyric Sheet and large Poster. (Skuld Records / Profane Existence /Consensus Reality‎)

Their first tape last year was unbelievably gnarly, and on "Inhabit The Corpse", these ghouls have truly broken loose from the restraints of mortal frailty and are unleashing a thrashing, chorus drenched wickedness unheard by the likes of any puny human. Thine ears cannot possibly be prepared for their unholy onslaught, yet it is here and there is nothing you or anyone else on earth can do to stop it. Is there really a good reason to not surrender your soul over to absolute turpitude made manifest through what can best be described as the amalgam of Japanese black metal/punk rippers SEX MESSIAH and the (secretly Finnish) hardcore punk steamroller of a project SYUDAN JISATSU, or in other words: absolute shredding annihilation from beyond the veil? Many bands may try to unleash the darkness and have their invocations met with silence - or maybe a whisper if they’re lucky - as they fizzle out; but when DEVIL MASTER calls, death comes fucking ripping (and we should expect nothing less from villains who also have given us horrific creations as members of CAPE OV BATS, BLANK SPELL, INTEGRITY, and THE DRIP to name a few). In just four tracks, Devil Master shatters your nerves, breaks your will, and drags your limp and drained vessel back into the world, leaving you all alone with nothing but reflection of what has come to pass as you sputter and sob, waiting for the end. This is an experience which is not to be missed. (Erste Theke Tontraeger) https://erstetheketontraeger.bandcamp.com/album/ett-055-devil-master-s-t-ep
  • The Band you've been looking for for a long time, with sounds of dissimilar genres that don't usually cross combined, is out when you least expect it to be. This fully fledged outfit of sheer old-school twisted intensity is a must-listen, no sweat! Devil Master with their four tracks of devilish hardcore punk in the vein of GAI or LSD packed in a deathrock vibe. The Japanese hardcore influence is prevalent but there is so much more! That is punk, metal and goth inspired hardcore punk with demonic vocals and hard as nail beats which is extremely hard to shake once you hear it. The torturous maelstrom sounds of bone breaks and thuggish isolationism. Howling feedback underscores the massive swirling riffs and relentless battery of drums. Foul, tumultuous vocals made entirely of the final exhalations of humanity really send this opus to the apex. A perfect band. The four distorted tracks on this EP mix perfectly the low end reverb soaked deathrock influences with the best of the International Hardcore Punk of the early 80's. Making it a masterpiece of timeless punk. This EP is a perfectly wild and superbly crafted sheet of brutal noise with a pounding goth backbone all jacked up on blackened metal freakout space jams. And you know that Satan smiled when he heard this! (Erste Theke Tontraeger) https://erstetheketontraeger.bandcamp.com/album/ett-055-devil-master-s-t-ep

One of the few hardcore bands from the early '80s to feature an outspoken and openly gay frontman -- in Texas, no less -- the Dicks, alongside the Big Boys, were the national scene's voice from the Lone Star state. • “Beer City Skateboards and Records is proud to reissue the classic, phenomenal first 7” of the early 80’s hardcore band : DIE KREUZEN — Cows and Beer ! After having been out of print for nearly 30 years the original master tapes from this ground breaking release had finally been restored, remastered and given a proper reissue! “We are doing this because we want to squash the bootleggers,” DIE KREUZEN singer Dan Kubinski explains. “For years they have been putting out inferior-quality bullshit and ripping off our fans. We want to give our fans a very clean, crisp, loud-and-heavy version of Cows and Beer. Billy Cicerelli from WMSE did the initial remastering and then Dave Eik of Lucky Lacquers did further remastering and cut the lacquers -and man, did they do an awesome job! This new version blows the doors and windows off of any other, including the original Version Sound release” Recorded in a few hours on Sept 11 1982 at a recording studio deep in Milwaukee’s south side. The result would be 6 songs that would help redefine the intensity and standard of this newly forming off shot of punk known as hardcore. Some even say this record is the paving way for another offshoot of punk that would rear its head some years latter and become known as thrash! When this record originally came out it was limited to a few short-run pressings. This time it will be released as a special RSD release for 2014 and will come on five different colors of vinyl for a grand total of 5000! (1000 each of red, gold, blue, green & clear vinyl). To make things even more spectacular, this record will feature brand new liner notes by the band as well as the original lyric sheet and then the one from the second pressing!” (Beer City Records)

  • The entire discography of this shortlived but influential early nineties anarcho punk band from Glasgow, Scotland. This is fast-paced and shredding anarcho punk with little excursions into the crust-punk genre here and there. Dual fe/male vocals and alot of (sadly still) lyrical topics of todays society. DISAFFECT releases most their material via NABATE RECORDS from Belgium as well as FLAT EARTH RECORDS from the UK. Both labels were pioneering the nineties DIY punk wave alot with bands like ONE BY ONE, HIATUS, SEDITION, UNHINGED etc etc. DISAFFECT stopped playing in 1994 and members moved on to other projects such as SCATHA and QUARANTINE. In 2019 the band reformed with a new rhythm section to play occassionally the one or the other festival. The DISAFFECT discography includes the "An Injury To One..." 7" EP from 1992, the split 7" with SEDITION from 1993, the "Home Of The Brave" 7"EP from 1993 (reissued 3 times!) and their 1994 released debut LP "Chained To Morality" as well as the ultra rare split 7" with BIZARRE UPROAR also from 1994. As a bonus you will find the best tracks of the 1991 "Demotape" with the missing tracks available as download. Housed in a beatifully crafted Gatefold-sleeve with additional 16 pages booklet including lyrics and linernotes. • A re-issue of the skull-splitting debut full length from Britain's hardcore legends. Originally released in 1982, the album is a hurricane of wall-of-sound brutality, delivered with D.I.Y. ethics and an apocalyptic and anti-establishment bravado. All time hc/punk classic.
