Released in 1981 and packed with amazing anthems like "ain't no feeble bastard" DISCHARGE struck the middle ground between the dark, angry worldview and raw emotion of underground punk and the rowdy rock'n'roll of the better metal bands - when told DISCHARGE sounded like MÖTÖRHEAD, they replied, "they sound like us".

In 1996 Social Distortion released their 5th album, White Light, White Heat, White Trash. The line-up featured a new drummer Chuck Biscuits (Black Flag/Danzig and many more). White Light, White Heat, White Trash was the last album with Dennis Danell on guitar (he sadly died in February 2000). The album received Social Distortion's highest ever chart position, entering the Billboard 200 album chart at #27. It also includes radio favourites "I Was Wrong", "When The Angels Sing" and a superb cover version of the Stones' "Under My Thumb". Stylistically, the album is harder and considered a return to their hardcore punk roots. Social Distortion is nothing less than a legend in the punk genre and still continues to receive worldwide respect and support.  Comes with insert.

  • FINALLY!!! Re-released on vinyl after 40 years! "Disturbing Domestic Peace, The Ex's debut album, appeared mere months after their first single, 1980's All Corspes Smell The Same. Originally released on the band's own Verrecords (they made up different label names with each record), the LP falls squarely within a punk idiom and, at the same time, shows this influential Dutch group's restless energy. Terrie Ex's guitar serves up vectors of percussive pulse, fraying the edges of the music's squared-off rhythms. Vocalist G.W. Sok – an anarchist Dziga Vertov with a mic – observes, declaims and condemns across a set of interrelated political concerns that would return in Ex-music for years to come. While The Ex channel the poise and principled attack of Crass or Flux Of Pink Indians, they create a unique declamatory sound all their own – trailing brilliant flashes of color in the wake of punk's monochrome palette. Offering ten songs in only twenty-two minutes, Disturbing Domestic Peace lays bare a vivid snapshot of a truly singular band who (at the time) were just finding their feet." This first-time vinyl reissue comes with bonus 7-inch, inserts and 20-page booklet. LP Track Listing: The Sky Is Blue Again Map Outlook-Army Sucking Pig A Sense Of Tumour Meanwhile Rules Squatsong Warning-Shot New Wars Bonus 7-inch Track Listing: Introduction Human Car Punk Horse Terrie (guitar), G.W. Sok (vocals), Bas (bass), Ome Geurt (drums). Recorded at Joke's Koeienverhuurbedrijf, Schellingwoude, Netherlands. Produced by Dolf Planteijdt. (The Ex Records/Superior Viaduct Records)

Subhumans are one of the most influential bands from the UK Anarcho-Punk scene of the 80's, filed right alongside Crass and Conflict, and just as relevant today as they were during the darkest days of Thatcher's Britain. Take your choice in how to label them – Punk, UK82, Crusty, etc. – therein lies the attraction and consequent reason for their popularity, the band epitomizes non-conformity and connects with people in many different scenes. This is their first new music in 12 years - all brand new songs about terror/pollution/mind control and similar reflections on a world in crisis! Subhumans don’t really need much in the way of introduction - since 1980, they’ve recorded and released a powerhouse of a back catalog that completely stands the test of time. ‘The Day the Country Died’ (1983) and ‘From the Cradle to the Grave’ (1984) are two classic albums in practically every punk’s collection. This album will undoubtedly be filed right alongside these records as another huge contribution to the world of punk they helped create. Pirates Press Records are thrilled to be releasing this new record, and Subhumans are embarking on a year of touring in both Europe and North America! The social and political commentary of bands like Subhumans forged a path, along with their contemporaries, for punk to change lives and opinions around the world. Sadly the things they sang about forty years ago are largely just as important now, sometimes more so in an age of Trump and Brexit. We can’t wait to hear more of what they have to say about the current political climate, the immense imbalance of wealth and power, and the causes they hold near and dear to their hearts. Tracks 1-8 are from the 1st MINOR THREAT 7" (1981) . Tracks 9-12 are from the "in my eyes" 7" (1981) plus one track from "flex your head" compilation. This is one of the best LP's you can get. Hardcore at it's finest. If you are into any kind of hardcore you should definetly look into MINOR THREAT. MINOR THREAT was one of the most influential bands from the 80's D.C. hardcore scene and this album proves it. Every song is inventive, original, and can stand on its own as a punk classic. This vinyl (on 45rpm) was remastered and re-cut, features an album sleeve re-design from the original artwork and comes with a digital download card. (Dischord Records)

Αντιλαμβανόμαστε την D.I.Y. κρατάμε τη D.I.Y. μουσική σκηνή ζωντανή! --------- H συλλογή περιλαμβάνει κομμάτια από 16 εγχώριες D.I.Y. μπάντες:

By the time this, their 2nd full length, was released in 1983 by the Syndicate Records label, the group had gone through numerous line-up changes and were now sporting a heavier, more melodic,  hard rock-based sound fronted by ex-Last Resort vocalist, Roi Pearce. One of the hardest hitting punk albums of the '80s A Fistful Of 4-Skins is reissued here on LP with 2 tracks ("On The Streets" from the 'Son Of Oi!' compilation and a demo version of 'Saturday') added as bonus! • Chisel this, Chisel that" -- it's on my phone, it's on my hard drives, it's on my turntable, it's on my t-shirt, it's on my Instagram, it's on my blogspot, it's tattooed on my forehead, my own parents renewed their wedding vows to "Rat Running Scared." I pressed stop. I unplugged my headphones, turned down the volume, and snapped that god forsaken single in HALF. Enough was enough! But see me, yeah. Once the music stopped only one thought rang through my head: What Have I Done? Where once there was explosive energy there was now a void. Lucky for me, the 5 loveable lads from Blackpool, Croydon, Acton, Chingford, and Guildford KEPT IT MOVIN, and just when I thought all was lost they brought me back in. Three more blasts of full fat extra saturated deep fried limb swinging confrontational uplifting chisel chiselling punk for that special space in your life. Enough said? No. Cos they've done it again. (Jonah Falco) (La Vida Es Un Mus Records)
  • 19 track round up of demos from The Partisans who formed in Bridgend, South Wales in 1978 and ended up being one of the cream of the UK82 punk movement. The first side of the LP has 10 tracks recorded in April 1980 in one day and like bands in their early years - it features mainly covers. It includes songs from the Sex Pistols, Stiff Little Fingers, UK Subs, Buzzcocks, UK Subs, Cockney Rejects and yes even more UK Subs. It also has primitive and raw versions of future Partisans classics No Time and I Don’t Give a Fuck. This demo has never been heard or released in any form. Less than a year later, February 1981 with Savage leaving and Louise joining on bass, the band have their most well know line up and are in full flow with a 6 track demo that was sent to No Future Records. It’s not surprising the label snapped them up straight away as the recordings are high energy and full of anthemic gems. The label released Police Story and Killing Machine as the debut 7” direct from these recordings. The other four tracks from this demo have never been released on vinyl. The last three tracks on the LP are the demos from 1982 recorded for No Future for the 17 Years of Hell Single. Rawer and more punk than the actual well know versions. All members of the bands helped in this release and shared original masters from which everything was remastered plus archive from their own personal collections including photos galore, handouts, ticket stubs, interviews etc which are included in the 28 Page Booklet. • First ever fully authorized reissue of GISM's landmark debut 'Detestation' prepared in direct cooperation with the group's mastermind Sakevi. Includes an A3 sized poster and Japanese style OBI strip. Relapse Records is proud to announce the first ever fully-authorized reissue of GISM's landmark debut LP, Detestation. Originally released in 1983, Detestation has since remained one of the most innovative, bewildering, extreme, and wildly influential albums in the punk and metal canon. To say Destestation was ahead of its time would be a huge understatement--it incorporated elements from so many genres: hardcore, punk, heavy metal, glam, thrash, industrial, and experimental. It was almost as if listeners didn’t know what to do with the record’s music but gravitated to it nonetheless as they recognized it was something unique and special. Maximum Rocknroll’s Jay Bentley’s 1984 review of Detestation made that sentiment clear, describing the record as "Churning Metal- punk, or perhaps even speed-metal, depending on where you draw the distinction. GISM are undoubtebly a heavy metal band who've been heavily influenced by hardcore, but the music is so intense and the vocals so ominous that even Im in a state of shock. These guys make VENOM sound like the KNACK, especially on side 1." *This product is designed to be a replica of the original LP released in 1983. Any spelling or design errors are consistent with how the record was originally presented* (Relapse Records)
  • "These songs were recorded a few months after the Los Angeles punk scene began. These five statements of intent transcend Punk and project forward into the future: to the analog synth wave of the late '70s and beyond, to the present day, four decades later, when they finally receive an official release. Sourced from the original reel-to-reels, they are a revelation compared to the countless copies that have been circulating by multiple generations of tape-traders. Here, for the first time, is the Screamers' initial and legendary manifesto. "The Screamers concept was simple, yet audacious: take the spirit and the look of Punk – the pseudo-psychotic aggression, the spiky hair, vacant stares and barely concealed sadomasochism – and match it to a different configuration than the typical '60s rock template. As launched, the Screamers featured two keyboard players (Tommy Gear and David Brown), a drummer (KK Barrett) and an intensely charismatic singer (Tomata du Plenty). The idea was to be confrontational – to evoke (as Tomata described in an early interview) a state of anxiety. "Forty years later, this release builds on the groundswell of interest in the Screamers that has been occurring in the early 21st century. There are web sites with detailed histories of the group and several bootlegs of demos and live material from 1977-79. The video of '122 Hours of Fear' – perhaps their peak moment, recorded at Target Video in August 1978 – has now passed over 650,000 views online. This is the Screamers' time, and the time is now." – Jon Savage (excerpt from the liner notes) (Superior Viaduct Records)

Early Sessions Of The Classic Joy Division Line-Up On 180g Vinyl LP! Warsaw was the planned debut album by the English post-punk band Joy Division, while they were briefly associated with RCA Records. Recorded in May 1978, it comprised eleven tracks now known collectively as the "RCA Sessions". However, the band were disappointed with the label's post-production work and the deal fell through, the album being scrapped. Four of the songs recorded during the RCA sessions had previously been recorded at the end of 1977, and it was these older recordings that the band would release the following month as their debut An Ideal for Living EP. The RCA sessions circulated on bootlegs for years, generally bearing the Warsaw title, until the tracks were licensed for a commercial release in 1994, appearing alongside "As You Said" from the 1980 "Komakino" single, as well as the band's first recorded music, the five "Warsaw Demo" tracks from 1977, which were noted on the sleeve as "bonus tracks". "What was planned to be Joy Division's first LP (unreleased until 1994, except in bootleg form) sounds like an album from the punk era -- raw and edgy, undisciplined but tuneful, unlike the group's proper debut, Unknown Pleasures. All of the tracks were later seen in different form, but Warsaw still manages to captivate through its pure energy." - AllMusic

“Beer City Skateboards and Records is proud to reissue the classic, phenomenal first 7” of the early 80’s hardcore band : DIE KREUZEN — Cows and Beer ! After having been out of print for nearly 30 years the original master tapes from this ground breaking release had finally been restored, remastered and given a proper reissue! “We are doing this because we want to squash the bootleggers,” DIE KREUZEN singer Dan Kubinski explains. “For years they have been putting out inferior-quality bullshit and ripping off our fans. We want to give our fans a very clean, crisp, loud-and-heavy version of Cows and Beer. Billy Cicerelli from WMSE did the initial remastering and then Dave Eik of Lucky Lacquers did further remastering and cut the lacquers -and man, did they do an awesome job! This new version blows the doors and windows off of any other, including the original Version Sound release” Recorded in a few hours on Sept 11 1982 at a recording studio deep in Milwaukee’s south side. The result would be 6 songs that would help redefine the intensity and standard of this newly forming off shot of punk known as hardcore. Some even say this record is the paving way for another offshoot of punk that would rear its head some years latter and become known as thrash! When this record originally came out it was limited to a few short-run pressings. This time it will be released as a special RSD release for 2014 and will come on five different colors of vinyl for a grand total of 5000! (1000 each of red, gold, blue, green & clear vinyl). To make things even more spectacular, this record will feature brand new liner notes by the band as well as the original lyric sheet and then the one from the second pressing!” (Beer City Records)

  • The Astronauts second album It’s All Done By Mirrors was originally released by All the Madmen in 1983 and finally gets reissued on vinyl for the first time. Original copies are now really sought after and on a lot of people's wants lists due to both its scarcity and its status among outsider art, free music and weirdly enough peace punk fans. It’s All Done by Mirrors is a stunning collection of explosive pop songs and traditional folk ballads and considered to be the pinnacle of the Astronauts recorded output. It’s easy to hear and see why. Musically it’s tighter and more focused than on the debut album Peter Pan Hits the Suburbs and lyrically it’s on another level. From Mark Astronaut's lyrical pen comes a woman dreaming of the Dorset coast whilst writing to her former lover (Seagull Mania); or the man on the street and his wife living out the final day before nuclear destruction (Typically English Day). Mark Astronaut really should been seen in the same light as Ray Davies from the Kinks with his observations of a time long gone. Three of the tracks feature legendary sax player Lol Coxhill. As with all Astronauts releases - totally under rated yet totally essential. (La Vida Es Un Mus Records)

    10.00 incl. tax
Singapore SIAL return with two songs of bleak mechanised feedback laden punk. This time around their sound is moving from their usual abrasive hardcore to a more HAWKWIND-CRESS influenced setting the tone for a more psychedelic conceptual piece. “Zaman Edan was written during a period when the world was under severe anxiety and uncertainty. The 2 songs tells stories about the real meaning of life. A life running low of dopamine, setting the tone for a bleak and experimental approach whilst writing this record, built up from a very percussive foundation. The dark synth laden ambience sucking in the empty space that surrounds the blistering guitar and bass, like a vacuum, voiding existence. Siti’s screeching vocals approaches death, not as a cry for help but as a fatalistic prose to justify means of sacrifice in the struggle against segregation and bondage. Side A and B features one song each, which translates to “You are born to fight” and “You are born to die”. “Zaman Edan” itself means Age of Craziness or Mad Times in English. To put it simply, this record is about all the broken promises that the state made towards minority voices, and continues to make in this perpetual Zaman Edan” (Hafiz) The artwork of the single was once again done by drummer Izzad Radzali Shah perfectly matching image and sound. One time pressing. 500 black / 300 white (La Vida Es Un Mus Records)
  • Nightmare Logic has taken Power Trip’s classic Exodus-meets-Cro-Mags sound to new places. With hooks and tightness rivaling greats like Pantera or Pentagram and production by the esteemed Arthur Rizk, Nightmare Logic punishes fans not only sonically but with pure songwriting skill. The sophomore release and second on Southern Lord Records, raises the bar and pushes Power Trip to new extremes. Since 2013’s Manifest Decimation, the band admits they’ve not only gotten better at their instruments, but have also reinvented their songwriting process into a more nuanced and clever system. The shift shows on this record and does so without losing any of the aggression so essential to the band. (Southern Lord Records)

(Shipping: October) In the early 1980s, Y.D.I. (pronounced: Why-die) put Philadelphia on the map with their ferocious brand of Hardcore. In 1983 they unleashed their debut 7” EP “A Place In The Sun” a blistering nine-track blast of american-hardcore fury. Circa-1985 the band changed musical directions and created filthy, metallic, damaged punk. The “Black Dust” (a concoction of PCP, heroin and formaldehyde) 12”- LP was YDIs’ final recording and a criminally underrated slab of disgusting mayhem. This double vinyl document contains every known recording of the band. Also inside is a 10”x10” full color photo book with tons of never before seen images from the era. (Southern Lord Records)
