G.L.O.S.S. stands for Girls Living Outside Society's Shit. Reissue of their long-gone demotape, this time on vinyl. Pissed off, queer-as-fuck, ripping hardcore. Easily one of the best demos of 2015. (Sabotage Records) https://girlslivingoutsidesocietysshit.bandcamp.com/album/trans-day-of-revenge
  • Out-of-print for over 33 years, the classic, early '80s hardcore/thrash 7" "we don't play the game" by THE CLITBOYS is finally being re-released. All 7 original raging tracks have been restored, remastered and are better sounding than ever before. Not only does this reissue contain a gatefold-cover complete with lyrics on the inside, but brand new liner notes by the bass player as well. • “Beer City Skateboards and Records is proud to reissue the classic, phenomenal first 7” of the early 80’s hardcore band : DIE KREUZEN — Cows and Beer ! After having been out of print for nearly 30 years the original master tapes from this ground breaking release had finally been restored, remastered and given a proper reissue! “We are doing this because we want to squash the bootleggers,” DIE KREUZEN singer Dan Kubinski explains. “For years they have been putting out inferior-quality bullshit and ripping off our fans. We want to give our fans a very clean, crisp, loud-and-heavy version of Cows and Beer. Billy Cicerelli from WMSE did the initial remastering and then Dave Eik of Lucky Lacquers did further remastering and cut the lacquers -and man, did they do an awesome job! This new version blows the doors and windows off of any other, including the original Version Sound release” Recorded in a few hours on Sept 11 1982 at a recording studio deep in Milwaukee’s south side. The result would be 6 songs that would help redefine the intensity and standard of this newly forming off shot of punk known as hardcore. Some even say this record is the paving way for another offshoot of punk that would rear its head some years latter and become known as thrash! When this record originally came out it was limited to a few short-run pressings. This time it will be released as a special RSD release for 2014 and will come on five different colors of vinyl for a grand total of 5000! (1000 each of red, gold, blue, green & clear vinyl). To make things even more spectacular, this record will feature brand new liner notes by the band as well as the original lyric sheet and then the one from the second pressing!” (Beer City Records)

Black Vinyl! Split release with japanese label Break The Records! Officical re-release of the devastating debut EP from now-veteran Kyoto thrashers Warhead! Amazing Japanese hardcore from 1991. An absolutely jaw-dropping slab of intense, ravening thrash, blasting through five songs in less than eight minutes with an absurd amount of energy and power. I think this is one of the best Japanese hardcore EPs out there... a classic! Originally self-released by the band and then later reissued by Devour (Japan) and Amok Records (Germany). Highest recommendations! (Farewell Records/Break The Records)
(Chaotic End Records)
  • Finally repressed. One of No Comment's earliest recordings, this 7" from 1989 features nine tracks of fast, tight hardcore that helped lay the foundation for the powerviolence scene in Southern California. It features one track that was omitted from the discography.. Classic. (Deep Six Records)
  • Their first tape last year was unbelievably gnarly, and on "Inhabit The Corpse", these ghouls have truly broken loose from the restraints of mortal frailty and are unleashing a thrashing, chorus drenched wickedness unheard by the likes of any puny human. Thine ears cannot possibly be prepared for their unholy onslaught, yet it is here and there is nothing you or anyone else on earth can do to stop it. Is there really a good reason to not surrender your soul over to absolute turpitude made manifest through what can best be described as the amalgam of Japanese black metal/punk rippers SEX MESSIAH and the (secretly Finnish) hardcore punk steamroller of a project SYUDAN JISATSU, or in other words: absolute shredding annihilation from beyond the veil? Many bands may try to unleash the darkness and have their invocations met with silence - or maybe a whisper if they’re lucky - as they fizzle out; but when DEVIL MASTER calls, death comes fucking ripping (and we should expect nothing less from villains who also have given us horrific creations as members of CAPE OV BATS, BLANK SPELL, INTEGRITY, and THE DRIP to name a few). In just four tracks, Devil Master shatters your nerves, breaks your will, and drags your limp and drained vessel back into the world, leaving you all alone with nothing but reflection of what has come to pass as you sputter and sob, waiting for the end. This is an experience which is not to be missed. (Erste Theke Tontraeger) https://erstetheketontraeger.bandcamp.com/album/ett-055-devil-master-s-t-ep
  • Melancholy singalong punk. Combines the darker and more experimental aspects of bands like the Dead Kennedys and WARSAW & other late 70’s UK art punk with the anthemic choruses of LA’s Youth Brigade yet sounding nothing like any of those bands. Put these guys on a bill with the Stitches, Geisha Girls, Manikin and the Distraction and the art punks will go nut. (Vinyl Warning Records)
  • What do members of Trial, Test of Time, Expired Youth and Decline have in common? A love for classic hardcore and a band called Bystander. Their path was paved by Youth Of Today, Chain of Strength, Judge and others, yet Bystander breathes new life into the genre´s boundaries both musically and lyrically. What you hear on this five song EP is powerful oldschool hardcore coupled with heartfelt lyrics which take a look both inward and outward at the same time. This is a band calling for internal reflection while engaging the scene to be more than just passive bystanders themselves. (WAK) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87O5y_95vnQ
  • Reissue of this legendary and hard to get release. Both are great melodic Powerpop/Punk songs recorded in 1978, now officially available on 7" vinyl (limited edition of 500 copies).

  • Following the release of their debut "Alive" 7?, Protein didn?t just sit and wait for things to happen. Instead, they packed their EP, tapes, and some merch and traveled to the north, east and west of Europe. In the meantime, they appeared on the "Youth Crew 2018" compilation 7". Meeting enthusiastic feedback for both their 7? and their live shows, in a short time Protein became one of the more recognizable SEHC bands coming from Eastern/Central Europe. The demand for the next dose of nutritional protein has definitely increased! These six new songs, available on the new seven-inch release, send a clear message that Protein is a talented, smart and energetic band, ready to show their skills to the world beyond their local scene. These new songs deliver a good dose of classic hardcore influence but they?re also far from sticking to standards and a generic sound. Everything here sounds fresh, vital and authentic. Lyrically they advocate keeping our heads up while dealing with darker times and they focus on us looking carefully at one other. These tracks were recorded in Czerpak and Waiting Room Studios, with mixing and mastering done by Will Killingsworth at Dead Air Studios. Cover by Wojciech Herman. Guest vocals by Walerka. • The notorious Berlin outfit returns with a new EP to drag you further into the fog with them. Nothing hold back this time. These six new songs hit where Hardcore is at its most bare-knuckle: downright nasty, grindstone-sounding rock music. An absolute bulldozer of a record, just listen for yourself. For fans of Sheer Terror, Celtic Frost, SSD's "How We Rock". (Refuse Records) https://refuserecords.bandcamp.com/album/into-the-fog-7ep
  • After what has seemed like an eternity and an extremely long journey (including 90% of the initial pressing of the record mysteriously disappearing in transit), Blazing Eye's most recent recording secures their place as one of Los Angeles's best hardcore-punk bands. Propagating punk as true and original as bands the likes of G.I.S.M. and Siege, Blazing Eye sets forth with their strongest release since their 2013 demo. It's a banger for sure and I'm happy that this record is finally a reality. A one time pressing. (Static Shock Records) https://staticshockrecords.bandcamp.com/album/ways-to-die

  • Led by crazed frontwoman Jenny Angelillo and guitarist George Rager, and recently relocated to Los Angeles from San Francisco, the Neighborhood Brats are joined on this record by the new rhythm section of Tommy Branch and Richie Cardenas. The new lineup tears through 3 originals (The title track is actually a re-worked version of the b-side of the Roofie And The Nightstalkers lone 7”, Jenny and George’s short lived pre-Neighborhood Brats project.) and a Go-Go’s cover, all to ferocious effect. Neighborhood Brats are one of our very favorite current bands, and we are beyond excited to release this EP! (Taken By Surprise)
  •   Ultimo Resorte is legendary Punk Band from Barcelona. Reissue of their classic debut 7" from 1982. (Radikal 1977 Records)
  • On NIGHT SHIFT, Neighborhood Brats’ first release since 2014 is a return to original form without repeating or compromising the past. The A side title track is a first-rate NB classic, paying homage to the RUNAWAYS, STOOGES and the SAINTS. Side B features a collaborative writing effort by vocalist JENNY ANGELILLO and guitarist GEORGE RAGER, in an AVENGERS meets RADIO BIRDMAN slammer. Captivated by an NPR story of WWII-era COMFORT WOMEN and echoing the current #MeToo movement, Angelillo shouts “I’m not the one,” implicitly stating FUCK THAT SHIT TO SEXISM AND THE PATRIARCHY. (Taken By Surprise)
