  • Hunter were formed during the summer of ‘79 in the Isle Of Wight. The original line up consisted of Jon Amor on vocals, Ian Hargreaves on bass/backing vocals and brothers Clive and Hugh Kim Lewis on guitar and drums, respectively. They had a different sound to the new wave music of the era, centering mainly around driving bass riffs and choppy guitar. Most of the material they played were their own songs. They rehearsed extensively and made their live debut on 22nd December 1979 supporting the Pumphouse Gang at Lakeside Inn. Not long after Hugh departed the band to join Flirt (later Cassie) and Chris Lines took his place on the drums. The new line up did some more live gigs and went into Tim Muncasters 4 track studio in East Cowes to record some songs. A short while after the band split up. (Rave Up records)

  • Hailing from the southern-most state of Chiapas, HURAÑA seems to have appeared overnight with a fully realized vision of wonderfully off center scrappy punk with echoed vocals, punchy drums and richly layered guitar work in the vein of moodier DEAD KENNEDYS songs, without all the silliness. There is a healthy dose of irrepressible hardcore power on here too. We get the feeling there isn't a whole lot of punk music coming out of this region of Mexico but HURAÑA could very well be the spark to ignite an exciting new scene. The certainly have the power, quality and message. Seven mindstickers altogether including a cover of the VULPESS' hit "Me Gusta Ser Una Zorra" which will only be available on the vinyl version of the EP. Always loved that song and definitely do it justice. 300 copies of 70gr black vinyl housed a custom die cut ILR glue pocket sleeve with lyric sheet and download card included. (Iron Lung Records)

Husker Du's major label debut (1986) is regarded as the most even and well-produced album of their respected career. It also represents some of the most accomplished songwriting by Bob Mould and Grant Hart, including standouts "Too Far Down" and "Hardly Getting Over It", which influenced a generation of musicians over the next decade. HYSTERESE | same title (IV) | LP

    15.00 incl. tax
Three years have passed since the last Hysterese record, and these last years brought change to the band. All grew older, some got babies and some went their different paths. So 2021 is a bit of a new era for Hysterese, personally and music-wise – with a new bass player, a new method of songwriting and more diverse influences which are reflected in slightly new song vibes. The last self-titled album already showed a glimpse of what might possibly happen while composing new material. Moritz and Helen split the composing and added a more morbid style – it got darker, and shows a bit more of a mature or adult approach to write intelligent, powerful songs. Hysterese’s trademark, the twin lead vocals of Helen and Moritz loses its weight as Helen takes more and more the role of the lead singer. They have less stakkato riffing and more open, atmospheric guitar work filled with superb guitar-melodies. Kai’s precise, machine-like drumming, and Jana’s flawless basswork do the final tricks – one can explore more than a „one, two, three, four” – punk rock album. Overall the seed they planted on their third record became a strong unique plant with ripe fruits which taste like darkness, melancholy, strength, anger, rage and fury. They created some sparkling düster-müster-popunk-diamonds, which are not afraid to take some detours through genres like alternative-rock or post punk. If you dig the darkness of The Wipers, the explosiveness of old Descendents records and the hits and melodies of your fav Blondie or Billy Idol songs, I’m sure you will dig this piece of rock music. • Limited vinyl LP pressing. This is all killer and no filler. Includes Dury's most loved songs, including four UK Top 40 singles and the #1 smash, 'Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick'. Ian Dury, like Ray Davies and Paul Weller, was a very English talent. The colorful, metropolis inhabiting characters like 'Billericay Dickie' or 'Plaistow Patricia' he sung about and the ever so cockney music hall accent he chose to sing in were a big part of that. But most of all it was the detailed, poetic way he catalogued English life and the melting pot of musical styles used to do so, from punk to funk to jazz and rock 'n' roll, which left the listener in no doubt that Dury's work could only come from one place: the very heart of England. • ICEBURN | asclepius | LP

    22.00 incl. tax
Asclepius is the new album from the ever-evolving and adventurous collective Iceburn, who return with their first new material in twenty years. Much like the mythical ouroboros that appear in their music, Iceburn have come full circle, as guitarist/vocalist Gentry Densley (also of Eagle Twin & Ascend) comments, “Iceburn had always been about progressing and pushing the boundaries, pushing the music ahead of ourselves so we had to work to catch up. This new record comes from a place of rediscovery of who we are deep down, a place that with all it’s challenges and comforts, ultimately feels like home.” The rawness of Asclepius harks back to the days of their early records (such as Hephaestus), and fuses elements of metal, jazz, psychedelia, and rock with a seamless flow, monolithic riffs, swirling harmonies, and a groove that are the cornerstones of their sound. Asclepius comprises two long-form tracks, “Healing The Ouroboros” and ‘Dahlia Rides the Firebird’, the latter is based on an old traditional Greek tune. With some members majoring in classics/philosophy, music/composition and studying ethnomusicology – classic mythology has always been a key reference point for the themes of their music. That the new record is named after the god of healing and medicine and arriving at this moment in time is coincidence, as the band comments, “It felt like we needed healing even before this pandemic hit.” (Southern Lord Records)
  • IconAclass is a passion project from MC/producer Will Brooks. Best known as MC dälek, the front person and co-producer in experimental Hip Hop group Dälek. He has explored the left of center/ wall of noise world ala My Bloody Valentine meets Public Enemy on 8 studio albums and numerous collaborations. Their sophomore full length album Changing Culture with Revolvers features MC dälek back on production and Emcee duties, and recruits long time deadverse massive & Labteksmember, Dev-One on vocals as well. The contrast in voice and rhyme style provides the album with a brand new take on hard hitting gritty East Coast Hip Hop. As always, cuts are provided by Mixmaster Motiv. Changing Culture with Revolvers is poised to open eyes and infiltrate eardrums. Pure hip-hop, hypnotic, heavy beats serve as more than just a backdrop. They focus a spotlight squarely on the lyrics, and iconAclass has a lot on their mind! 12 tracks with a heady blend of lyrics and grimy East Coast Boom-Bap beats skewed through the Deadverse prism. • Sealed Records release the complete remastered ICONOCLAST Discography including the immense self released 1983 Demo, The Flipside 7" from 1985 plus Two Compilation tracks. It's a small but perfectly formed discography and one that 36 years after it was first recorded still has power, intensity and rage. ICONOCLAST were part of the early 80's American peace punk scene that included CRUCIFIX, BODY COUNT, AGAINST, ANOTHER DESTRUCTIVE SYSTEM, DIATRIBE, ARMISTICE and A STATE OF MIND. Idealistic bands highly influenced by CRASS which shined amongst the heavily nihilistic California Punk scene of the era. ICONOCLAST sound was in tune with DISCHARGE, early ANTISECT or WRETCHED while lyrically the songs were political and to the point. They played benefits for animal rights, anti nuclear, anti apartheid, anti police brutality, and Big Mountain. The demo was followed by their only vinyl release on Flipside which has two ragers and the more mellow In These Times which has a touch of THE MOB and OMEGA TRIBE about it. The band had tracks on various compilations including the seminal International P.E.A.C.E. Benefit LP on R Radical in 1984 which had the cream of the crop of international hardcore punk of the heyday. Domination Or Destruction comes housed in a heavy reverse board sleeve and includes a 24 page 11”x11” booklet containing interviews, photos and flyers from the era documented, 1983-1985, which will help understanding the band ideas and the local scene of the era. Sealed Records are proud to finally reissue ICONOCLAST's catalogue, a criminally overlooked band for some but in the label’s eyes this LP is a must have for all punk households! Legendary Welsh anarchist punk band Icons of Filth was formed in Cardiff at the end of the 70s, having been known as Mock Death and Atomic Filth in earlier line-ups. This blistering debut, culled from demos laid in September 1982, was a cassette-only release—the first issue on the Mortorhate label, run by fellow political punks, Conflict. Over clamorous drumrolls, jagged guitar and super-charged bass, frontman Stiggy Smeg spits lyrics fighting against the system, championing animal welfare and a vegetarian lifestyle. This is the band at their rawest and most unfiltered—required listening for punk diehards. Limited vinyl reissue, comes with folded poster with exclusive unpublished photo by Robert Revill. Recorded September 1982 at X Ntrix Studios, London, England. Originally released as a cassette in 1982 on Mortarhate Records (UK). (Radiation Records)

Re-release of their 2005 masterpiece! Ictus formed in 2004 in Galicia/Spain and deliver fucking excellent modern dark and epic Hardcorepunk. Besides showing definately similarities to Ekkaia, Tragedy or even Catharsis, they are a brand of their own! With 3 guitarplayers and a hellish aggressive singer they manage to unleash such a wall of frustration and anger to leave me speechless when I first had a listen! Dark and heavy hardcore crust with undeniable hints to blackmetalmelodies + some ambiental parts and screaming political thoughts all over against those times we are living in today.... - ….this is the perfect soundtrack to fuck shit up.

ID | twoja twarz | LP

    13.00 incl. tax
Established in 1983, ID is considered the first band from the Polish hardcore/punk scene to be inspired by the sound and energy of hardcore from the USA. Thanks to student exchanges in Krakow, tapes from the NYC and DC hardcore pioneers inspired members of the band. Over the years, they developed their own characteristic sound. Although throughout the 80s and 90s they were the one of the frontrunners of the independent hardcore/punk scene in Poland, they left behind only a vinyl EP and several cassettes. In 1991, the band entered the legendary Złota Skała (Gold Rock) studio and, under the supervision of Robert Brylewski, recorded excellent material for a full-length. They recorded 17 tracks which sounded fresh, dynamic, and with the specific sound of that studio were reminiscent a bit of the "Legenda” of Armia or the first material from Post Regiment recorded a bit later. Both bands were strongly associated with the band from Krakow. The enormous potential and talent of the team finally brought results and things were looking very optimistic for the future. Unfortunately, the band got involved with a record company, which actually inhibited their development, releasing their material only on cassette, and two years too late, in 1993. Twenty-five years have passed since this release, and it has been 35 years since the band formed. We decided it was time to finally release a vinyl record and CD with new mastering. (Refuse Records)
  • Idles return with their new album Crawler – an album of reflection and healing amid a worldwide pandemic that stretched the planet’s collective mental and physical health to the breaking point. Frontman Joe Talbot says, “We want people who’ve gone through trauma, heartbreak, and loss to feel like they’re not alone, and also how it is possible to reclaim joy from those experiences.” Idles albums have always been anchored by these overarching themes, but the ability of the band to juxtapose beauty and rage with humor and drama has never felt more satisfying than on Crawler. These stories are vividly brought to life through Idles’ most soul-stirring music to date, recorded with co-producers Kenny Beats (Vince Staples, Freddie Gibbs) and Idles guitarist Mark Bowen. There are, of course, numerous moments that will inspire absolute mayhem in a packed concert venue, but there are also fresh textures and experiments that push Idles into thrilling new territory. “I don't really see us as a ‘rock band’ and working with Kenny [Beats] freed us of the idea of genre,” Talbot enthuses. “On this album, our dissolution of ego was helped by Kenny’s humble nature and willingness to learn. He has boundless passion for making the best song possible. Not the best ‘rock’ song — the best song possible.” He continues, “It was writing selfishly that helped make it possible. Reflecting. Telling my own story. Not trying to tell everyone else's story. Not trying to fix the world — just talking about how I am fixing mine.” Eco-mix coloured vinyl - each pressing will be different in colour. Using left-over wax already in the factory. Catalogue number PTKF3014-3 is on the labels and the hype sticker, PTKF3014-1 is on the sleeve. (Partisan Records/2020)
  • The Bristolians Joe Talbot, Mark Bowen, Lee Kiernan, Adam Devonshire and Jon Beavis crank up their weapons once more and power-drop a second long player. Space produces, Adam Greenspan and Nick Launay (Kate Bush/Arcade Fire) mixes. Bristol’s finest Kings of exquisitely noisy post-punk pick off pointed targets singing about nationalism, class warfare, sexist wankers (or toxic masculinity as they put it) and more. Rowdy tunes of hollering and gut-wrenching searing viscerality crowd the speakers for dancefloor decimating space. Building from an ominous growl to a full-on howl of exuberant explosively emotive power this is a full on tilt of finely honed and powerful anthems. (Partisan Records)
  • IDLES | ultra mono | LP

    24.00 incl. tax
Following Brutalism (2017) and Joy as an Act of Resistance (2018), two releases that garnered global critical acclaim, IDLES return with their highly anticipated third album – Ultra Mono. Sonically constructed to capture the feeling of a hip-hop record (including production contribution from Kenny Beats), the album doubles down on the vitriolic sneer and blunt social commentary of their past work. Not far beneath the surface of their self-admitted sloganeering lies a deeply complex and brutally relevant album that chews up clichés and spits them out as high art for the masses. This is momentary acceptance of the self. This is Ultra Mono. Black vinyl, this is the standard release. (Partisan Records/2020)
  • From the suburbs of Florence (Firenze Nord) comes the Italian punk trio called Iena (hyena in Italian). "La Morte Chiama" is Iena’s first full lenght LP. The production is raw, playing is tight and the whole record rips in every way possible. There are eight tracks of stripped down, anthemic and fucking sharp Italian punk that sounds like it’s being recorded back in 1982. Remember hearing Rixe for the first time? The debut LP by IENA hit us in a very similar vein. (Time Bomb Records / S.O.A. Records)
  • Iggy and the Stooges ‘Metallic K.O.’ - the original 1976 LP - the notorious ‘Last Ever Iggy & the Stooges Show’ ‘Metallic K.O.’ is the remarkable album of Iggy & The Stooges confrontational ‘last ever gig’ (until their reunion almost 30 years later). Effectively the fourth Stooges album with then brand new and unheard songs, it was released in 1976 three years after ‘Raw Power’ while Iggy was in limbo. Soon after the gig Iggy checked into a mental hospital. The sound of kamikaze Iggy provocatively abusing his audience and then dodging eggs and bottles thrown by a biker gang enhanced Iggy’s reputation in the embryonic punk scene as the Punk Godfather. Nothing like it had been heard before. It became a must-have album and far out-sold the first three Stooges albums, with sales of over 100,000. The album contains Iggy Pop’s story of the events surrounding the gigs as well as contemporaneous reports from Nick Kent, Giovanni Dadomo and Lester Bangs. An essential album in Iggy’s history. Nick Kent said: ‘I’m convinced that side two is a masterpiece’ and Lester Bangs said: ‘It’s the only rock album I know where you can actually hear hurled beer bottles breaking against guitar strings’. Culled from an Olympic studios demo session and rehearsals in Detroit for the band's 1973 tour, Move Ass Baby runs the gamut from full-fledged, ready-to record tunes to the types of swampy jams that the band has claimed indicative of their studio songwriting process. This album explores the creative process that gave birth to nearly all the Stooges albums. Starting with a jam session, an oldie or two, or maybe a blues riff, the songs gradually took shape and were refined from there. Here we find the Stooges in rehearsal, messing around with songs by Bo Diddley, Bob Dylan, Cream, and the Paul Butterfield Blues Band. We hear the beginnings of songs that never went any further, such as Old King Live Forever', I Come From Nowhere' or Wild Love', which had as much potential as any of their best material. And we have some very impromptu jams such as Move Ass Baby' and a fascinating James Williamson solo performance. Much of this material has never been heard before and this is the first time this collection has been released on vinyl!
