Somewhere at the midpoint of the 1980’s, New York City birthed the then unheard of conglomerate of Heavy Metal and Hardcore later known as Crossover. Although bands such as the Crumbsuckers, Agnostic Front, Leeway, Carnivore and Nuclear Assault are rightfully cited as progenitors of the genre from the area, there are a few who helped cultivate this sound who were lost to the annals of time. One such band is Brooklyn’s Sarcasm. Across their two demo tapes from 1986 – "Man of God?" and "War Song" – the band displayed the same amount of burly sonic confidence as the aforementioned bands, but sadly never got the same recognition back in the day. In an attempt to right that wrong, Radio Raheem is slapping both of Sarcasm’s demos onto vinyl for the first time ever, tying it together with a bevy of photos and flyers and titling it War Song. With an overabundance of sick riffage and enough mid-tempo chug to sound like a foreshadowing to what would become of NYHC during the 90’s, "War Song" is a welcomed introduction to a band that was sadly unheralded in their day. Track Listing: 01. Death Strike 02. Back Off 03. War Song 04. Interceptor 05. After Math 06. Man Of God 07. Dusted (You're Fucked) 08. Khadafy Stomp 09. Kill Your Mom 10. Cause You Suck 11. To The Death 12. Gimme A Break (Radio Raheem Records)

The ultimate edition of this masterpiece of apocalyptic heaviness! Originally released in 1989 as the band’s third album (considering the fact that Saw Throat is nothing else but a further stage in the legendary Sore Throat saga), and with a marked musical shift towards the more sinister sound of bands like The Swans, Saint Vitus, Amebix and Gore, “Indestroy” was envisaged as a one song concept LP with a lyrical emphasis placed on enviromental issues (3 decades BEFORE the current publicity seeking populism of mainstream popstars and media celebrities pretending to give a fuck about the planet). Improvised and recorded over a period of three weeks, the resulting album become not only the crown jewel in the band’s history, but the final nail in the coffin of them being an ongoing concern as the three core members concentrated on their own bands and all moved on. The ultimate visual history paying tribute to one of punk’s most iconic bands Formed in 1977, the Misfits deeply influenced the genres of punk rock and metal alike by blending their music with horror film themes and imagery. This is their visual story as told through the original ephemera that helped define their legacy. Scream With Me spotlights the band’s iconic and influential album and single art, fan club merchandise, original posters, show flyers, and one-of-a-kind, never-before-seen rarities, culled primarily from the extensive collection of archivist Umberto D’Urso. Additionally, the book prominently features insightful contributions on the band’s legacy from members of Metallica, Pearl Jam, Avenged Sevenfold, Dropkick Murphys, and more. For more than 40 years, the band has had an inescapable influence on popular culture and Scream With Me is the ultimate tribute to the original, beloved Misfits era. Re-pressed for the first time in over a decade, the debut full-length from DC's Scream is finally seeing the light again on vinyl. This LP, produced by Ian MacKaye and Eddie Janney of Faith shows the band's advanced musicianship and rock and roll sensibility while still maintaining the speed and punk fury that characterized the early '80s DC bands. The scum of toytown is back! 20 years after their fantastic debut album "Strike", the band from Stevenage (UK) is back together and recorded a brand new full lenght LP in 2014. On here they feature a set of previously unrecorded older material alongside with new songs that sound just as they picked it up again where they left off in 1995. A festival of tuneful but subversive punk-MUSIC (yes, in capitals) merging the drive and rage of anarcho punk with reggae parts and hints of pop and dub groves. Transporting a personal yet punk political message across the listener. Sometimes full on powerful riffage, sometimes furious, sometimes melancolic and melodic, all at the same time, wrapped up in a top notch DIY production. SCUM OF TOYTOWN were a obscure phenomena of the 1990ies, rootet in the North London punk scene of the late 1970ies and 1980ies. They crawled out of the void and managed in their short existence to make a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to catch them either live or on record before they sunk into oblivion for unknown reason. They appeared on festivals and squats in central Europe and making everyone (seriously) move and dance along to their unique style of innovative sounding punkrock. Music that makes you toss a brick with a smile on your face. They left us with their only legacy a 7“ and a genius LP.... ... we're more than happy to have them back with their new album. They haven't lost it, not a single bit! • Includes DOWNLOAD Codes. • Available 1st edition on black vinyl (Ruin Nation Records) https://ruinnationrecords.bandcamp.com/album/cells
  • Post-punk duo Second Layer was formed in London in 1979 by southpaw guitarist/vocalist Adrian Borland and bassist/keyboardist Graham Bailey, who would both gain greater fame in the somewhat more mainstream act, The Sound; Borland has previously been active in Wimbledon punk trio The Outsiders, which released two albums and an EP on their own Raw Edge label before disbanding. Second Layer’s heavily synthesized and dystopian ‘cold wave’ sound first surfaced on a couple of EPs, issued on their own Tortch label, and when debut album World Of Rubber was released on Cherry Red in 1981, it was a very different beast indeed, being far more abstract, the minimal instrumentation masking occasional morbid lyrics about “Black Flowers,” bodies in an open grave and, on “In Bits,” the disintegrating personality of Borland’s protagonist; “Japanese Headset” subjected an unknown foreign soundtrack to stereophonic effects. Since The Sound signed with major label WEA shortly after the released of World Of Rubber, the album ended up being Second Layer’s swansong, making it all the more sought after today. Limited Record Store Day 2020 edition of 500 copies on Grey vinyl, double sided insert and 3 bonus tracks.

  • (Shipping: October) “Blood of the Beasts” is ten reflections on the myth of progress, the new old tribalism, the single face of all subjugations, the broken promise of automation, love, loss & obsolescence set against the dying light of a better tomorrow. Vegan straight edge outfit SECT unites vocalist Chris Colohan (Cursed, Burning Love, Left For Dead), guitarists James Chang (Catharsis, Undying) and Scott Crouse (Earth Crisis, The Path Of Resistance), bassist Steve Hart (Day Of Suffering), and drummer Andy Hurley (Racetraitor, The Damned Things). The result is a caustic, riotous, belligerent style of vile hardcore fed by a boundless well of socio-political vitriol. Blood of Beasts was recorded with Kurt Ballou at GodCity Studios and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music. (Southern Lord Records) https://sectsl.bandcamp.com/album/blood-of-the-beasts
  • A re-issue of the skull-splitting debut full length from Britain's hardcore legends. • Black vinyl limited to 300 - 18.00 Color in color (black into seablue vinyl) limited to 100 - 21.00 Second chapter in F.O.A.D.‘s annihilating mission to re-issue all the early 7MON material enriched by an incredible amount of rare and unreleased recordings. This LP includes two classic Ep’s from the legendary years when TNT&Records from Germany was putting out on 7″ some of the most classic Noisecore ever landed on this planet… “Your father was a poser… and what’s about you??” (1990) and the split with AxCx (1989) called “We’ll just have to acclimatize ourselves to the post nuclear area“: complete rough tape sessions with a lot of never heard before outtakes added, freshly ripped from Mick’s masters. Straight from the LP liner-notes: “The story behind this LP begun when Matthias Weigand delivered us a huge box of 7MON reels to transfer in the studio, to check exactly what was included in each one of them. We found out that most of them were the masters of the early Eps released by TNT &Records and then Ecocentric Records. When we started to discuss about a possible series of 7MON releases on LP to re-build the band’s discography from the early times, Mick came out with the fact that he had recently unearthed the complete sessions of each EP, that were much longer than how they were originally released on 7″.. (continues)“. To give you an idea of how longer these sessions are, the split 7″ with AxCx was 6′:35″ on the original TNT&Rec EP, this extended version clocks at 17′:18″ with more than ten minutes of extra noise! The bonus CD includes both the original EP versions transferred straight from the reels with a somehow sharper sound and the extended rough tape edits from Mick’s archives. The total of tracks included on this collection is countless, just think about the fact that the TNT editions had respectively 552 (“Your father was a poser..“) and 241 songs (Split with AxCx), nobody dared to count the complete sessions included here but we’re probably exceeding 2000!! These two legendary sessions shaped a whole genre and countless bands spawned from the “musical” extremism concepted by two Australian guys in the 80’s. If there’s a heaven of Noise, Seven Minutes Of Nausea is surely deserving a place at the top of it. LP with a special PVC sticker on the front cover, bonus CD, square A2 poster with the stunning “Your father was a poser…” art in its original colors and 20 page lyrics booklet!! (F.O.A.D. Records)
  • "Shai Hulud have spent many years away and endured line-up changes frequent enough to give Napalm Death or Zao’s revolving door policy a run for their money. That said, if they’re going to push forward, they better come with something spectacular, and they do. Dispensing with most of the spoken-word meanderings and downplaying the melodicism of the prior release, Misanthropy Pure is faster and more frantic than any of their earlier records yet remains coherent and well proportioned. New vocalist Matt Mazzali roars his way through 11 massively dense and aggressive tracks, rarely slowing for a breather. He’s no Chad Gilbert but he brings a much-needed shot of adrenaline to the vocal department. Primary songwriter Matt Fox has outdone himself, cramming what seems like thousands of licks into mere seconds of running time but never shying away from the requisite amount of repetition necessary to make an album this intricate come together. Eric Rachel’s production comes across as a tad too polished but otherwise Misanthropy Pure is a brain-rupturing return to form from a resilient and influential act. This is melodic metalcore at its finest. " By Max Deneau www.exclaim.ca Issued in a gatefold cover with lyrics and credits printed on dust sleeve. "Limited Edition" of 2000 hand numbered copies. #1615/2000. (Metal Blade Records)
  • SHEER MAG returns with their sophomore album, "a distant call". They're still writing about surviving our current hellscape, but this time around the politics get extra personal. • Singapore's SIAL return with another wave of destruction and their 3rd release on LVEUM. They've truly found the perfect balance of melody, noise and aggression while still putting great emphasis on the political aspect of hardcore punk that's always spitting hate towards the power that corrupts. The music and song writing can be somewhat ambiguous to some listeners who have devoted their life to the classic raw hardcore punk format, but this record shouldn't be left out- it carries the same cathartic punk experience. References point being THE COMES, LEBENDEN TOTEN or Perdition era DISORDER. SIAL has always been using strong malay metaphors and proverbs in their lyrics, and more in this release to stress how important the Malay language is to them in expressing a structure that is broken in this modern capitalistic world. 'Tari Pemusnah Kuasa', which translates to 'The Revolt Dance' or ' Dance of The Power Crusher', delivers a sense of mysticism and empowerment. This uncompromising attitude is what we need in these trying times. Tari Pemusnah Kuasa was recorded by the band and mastered by Will Killingsworth at Dead Air Studio. The record sleeve was designed by drummer Izzad Radzali Shah and comes with a printed inner sleeve by guitarist Hafiz.
