• Earache Records, black vinyl, Licensed high quality re-issue of one of the definitive American punk classics. A classic record with the highly coveted Earache catalogue number MOSH666. Exclusive European pressing. All units to be pressed on heavyweight 180g vinyl with a 350gsm heavyweight sleeve. The inner bag features a new logo based design, differentiating it from previously released product. If the Misfits were one of the greatest punk bands then Walk Among Us released in 1982 is perhaps one of the greatest records in punk history. While Static Age and Earth AD showcased a band searching for an identity like a vampire for its next victim, Walk Among Us is almost sheer perfection. With a solidified lineup, fully grown-out devillocks (the Misfits trademark long spike of hair in the front) and the stabilizing presence of the somewhat pedestrian but agile arthur googy on drums, uber-misfit Glenn Danzig was finally able to match his zombie-elvis to a worthy musical foil. From the manic opening of 20 Eyes to the monster football chorus of Braineaters, there is nothing less than a sublime moment on this album from start to finish. Astro Zombies or I Turned into a Martian sound like songs to raise the dead by. a special bonus is perhaps the tenderest love song to decapitation (Skulls) in recent memory. (Earache Records)
  • Originally released in 1980 on Deram Records (a division of Decca), this is the first time this seminal UK post-punk album has been reissued on vinyl. The Mo-dettes were an all-female band, formed in 1979 by guitarist Kate Korris (The Slits), Jane Crockford (Bank of Dresden), Ramona Carlier (Kleenex) and June Miles-Kingston. They were in the heart of the late 70s London art, film and punk scene with some of the members assisting Malcolm McLaren on the set of the film, The Great Rock ‘n’ Roll Swindle, as well as living in a community squat with Joe Strummer and Sid Vicious. Their branding was eye catching too, perhaps helping to pull in a wider audience, or it could have been influenced by some of the band members’ art backgrounds too. The album features a version of The Rolling Stones’ Paint It Black, a remake of their debut single White Mice (renamed White Mice Disco), plus a cover of Edith Piaf’s Milord, along with other original penned songs. The band toured for four years and they supported two-tone ska bands such as Madness and The Specials before breaking up finally in 1982. When the members went their separate ways, many continued to work and be associated with artists such as Fun Boy Three, Everything But The Girl, and The Communards. This is a Record Store Day 2019 item. LP - Limited 180 Gram Vinyl from Original Masters plus Lyric Sheet and die cut A4 Sticker. (Deram Records/2019)

  • Recorded in the legendary EastWest studios, Moby created this album in Studio 3 where Pet Sounds was recorded, using the same board that was used in the making of Ziggy Stardust and the same piano that Sinatra used to record some of his most notable hits. Keeping with Moby’s history of donating to charity (in 2018, he started selling off his records and collection of synthesizers and drum machines, donating the proceeds to charity), he is using this album as a sounding board to bring attention to a long list of charities dedicated to preserving our planet and all its inhabitants. This is with black vinyl. Sticker on front: "All moby's profits from this release go to charity". Includes a 16 page art booklet. "moby" is embossed on the front sleeve below the title. • Founded in the mid-'60s by vocalist Fraser Loveman, guitarists Greig Foster and Mike Gorgichuk, bassist Joe Colonna and drummer Robbie Jeffrey, the Ontario-based British Modbeats played covers of British Invasion groups such as the Rolling Stones and Spencer Davis Group and posed as true Englishmen. Red Leaf Records signed them and released their 1967 album, Mod Is the British Modbeats. They disbanded same year when Loveman left to start a new group, The Foundation. (Future Shock Records)

Mogwai release their new album 'Atomic' via Rock Action. The album is composed of reworked versions of the music recorded for the soundtrack to director Mark Cousin's acclaimed documentary Atomic: Living In Dread and Promise, which first aired on BBC Four last summer. Constructed entirely of archive film, 'Atomic' is an impressionistic kaleidoscope of the horrors of our nuclear times - protest marches, Cold War sabre-rattling, Chernobyl and Fukishima - but also the sublime beauty of the atomic world, and how x-rays and MRI scans have improved human lives. Mogwai's soundtrack encapsulates the nightmare of the nuclear age, but its dreamlike qualities too. It is the latest in the band's series of impressive soundtracks and scores, following acclaimed albums 'Les Revenants' (The Returned) and 'Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait'. Music from the film 'Atomic', a Hopscotch Films/Crossover Production directed by Mark Cousins. Black vinyl version. Issued in a gatefold sleeve with download code All songs by Mogwai. • ΠΡΟΠΑΡΑΓΓΕΛΙΑ: ΔΙΑΘΕΣΙΜΟ ΑΠΟ 16 ΝΟΕΜΒΡΙΟΥ 2020 Monument is a fitting title for the third album by Belarusian trio Molchat Doma. Indeed, it stands as a monument to everything they’ve achieved in their short time as a band, from whispered-about unknowns, to enigmatic underground icons, to legitimate viral sensations with hundreds of thousands of TikTok videos using their music. Monument sees them return as conquering heroes, expanding on the minimalist greatness of S Krysh Nashikh Domov and Etazhi to fully realize a more maximalist vision of their crystalline post-punk sound. Written and recorded while the band was quarantined in their hometown of Minsk during the COVID-19 pandemic, Monument is a conscious step up in songwriting and fidelity, and it reveals a band preternaturally comfortable in its own skin. Whether playing to the dancefloor, as they do on the synthpop anthem “Discoteque,” or working more introspectively on pre-pandemic live favorites “Otveta Net” and “Ne Smeshno,” Molchat Doma are in complete control. Their greatest strength has always been their songwriting, and they’ve only gotten better. As the band’s arrangements have grown more sophisticated, so too have the sounds they use to bring them to life. Roman Komogortsev and Pavel Kozlov’s gear arsenal has grown to include an extensive range of synthesizers and drum machines, all of which they deploy with precision. Egor Shkutko’s vocals move fluidly between his familiar deadpan monotone and an expressive croon, his beautifully delivered Russian lyrics at turns bleak and romantic. Shkutko has often been compared to Ian Curtis, but here, he outgrows the comparison. With Monument, Molchat Doma have done one of the hardest things to do as a band. They’ve greatly expanded the scope of their music while retaining everything that made them great in the first place. Black or Blue vinyl. (Sacred Bones Records)

When С крыш наших домов, the debut album by Molchat Doma, was released in 2017, it announced a bold new voice in underground music. The album found a passionate audience on Bandcamp and other streaming services and was released on CD and cassette. Sacred Bones Records is proud to present the album on vinyl for the first time. Molchat Doma (translated as "Houses Are Silent"), founded in 2017 in Minsk, Belarus, stands at the intersection of post-punk, new-wave and synth-pop. Dark yet danceable, and with a heavy dose of goth ethos, their music is reminiscent of the masters that predate them, but make no mistake: Molchat Doma creates a sound and meaning that is immediately recognizable as all their own. The band is comprised of Egor Shkutko, who sings the Russian lyrics in his deep monotone, Roman Komogortsev on guitar, synths, and drum machine, and Pavel Kozlov on bass and synths. • Third studio album of MOSCOW DEATH BRIGADE! Each of the 11 tracks on the new record takes a unique form inspired by various genres from Punk Rock and Black Metal to Drum & Bass, Techno, EDM and more. The machine gun rap flow of the band’s two MC’s can be heard on all tracks, rapping in English on a variety of topics, from pressing social issues to more light hearted ones, such as graffiti and touring.

Boltcutter Vlad: „‘Bad Accent‘ in the record’s name stands for what we see as an internationally recognizable dialect shared by those not afraid to expand their horizons, travel to new places, meet new people so they can get things done, survive, stand for the right things. A lot of times the society unjustly labels them as ‚undesirable elements‘ or ‚suspicious foreigners‘. This album is a collection of Anthems for the Bad Accent brother and sisterhood to bang their heads to.“

Ski Mask G: „On the new album we are combining the sound of previous two records while adding new vibes. We are bringing back punk and hardcore beats with beloved ‚heavy metal guitars‘, but many tracks will still retain heavy electronic elements, and all of that with a twisted flavor of Moscow Death Brigade. We call it Circle Pit Hip-Hop.“ (Fire and Flames Music)

Moscow Death Brigade are finally catching on: After numerous tours and concerts here comes “Boltcutter”, the first regular MDB album. The infamous circle pit-hip-hop-Crew from Moscow expands its unmistakable mix of punk, hardcore, rap and metal in Europe with elements from drum’n’bass, dancehall, techno and grime. The result is a genre and scene-spanning explosive musical statement that speaks out against racism, fascism, sexism and bigotry and for rebellion, subversion, respect and unity and has the goal to get the various subcultures together on the streets and in the clubs to break the stagnancy. Moscow Death Brigade are taking their Circle Pit Hip-Hop to a new direction with a fully acoustic EP, rapping to acoustic guitar riffs and folk-inspired solos. The EP contains two brand new tracks written specifically for an acoustic guitar and unplugged versions of two of the band’s classic tracks! Here’s Ski Mask G from MDB talking about the titular track: “The titular track “FLARES ARE BURNING” talks about something that helps people to over come desperate situations and hard times, that burns like a flare in the darkness guiding you through the ocean of challenges and problems and inspiring you to keep fighting a good fight. Since the first days of MDB our main message was a call for unity, for creating a worldwide brother and sisterhood, since we believe that knowing that you are not alone, can guide a person through the hardest times. The EP was written and recorded during the Pandemic, when things are pretty bad and we think that it seeped into our music – it came out both hopeful and uplifting, but also mostly in a minor key with a dose of anger.” A1 Flares Are Burning 03:19 A2 Ghettoblaster (Acoustic) 02:43 B1 Against The World 03:41 B2 Sound Of Sirens (Acoustic) 03:26 (Fire and Flames Music)

    MOSKWA | wiem | 7”

In 1987, a new chapter began in the history of Moskwa. The band's intense and wild period between 1983-1986 had closed without the release of any vinyl output. This was true despite the cult status of the band. Moskwa experienced their next line-up change with Guma being joined by Maleo (Kultura, Izrael) and Gogo Szulc (Tzn Xenna, Tilt, Armia). Warsaw became the band's home city. New material was prepared, deviating from the original sound that had dropped Polish punx to their knees. The band's aim was to record and release their first vinyl LP. In early 1987 however, before their LP sessions, Moskwa recorded four songs in an studio arranged at the Spatif club in Łódź. These songs were intended for use on the air by the "Rozgłośnia Harcerska" radio station. The sound surprised fans of "early" Moskwa who were disappointed at the beginning. In time however the catchiness, and interesting arrangements changed minds across Poland. These unreleased recordings from the Spatif session still work well after all these years. These four songs are an interesting addition to Moskwa's output, and they definitely deserve to be immortalized on seven-inch vinyl. Sometime toward the end of 2006, Most Precious Blood vanished. Word eventually spread that Most Precious Blood had begun work on a new album. Let's be honest: a band like Most Precious Blood doesn't name their record "Do Not Resuscitate" unless they've got nothing left to lose - and this is when a band is at their best - when they have nothing to prove and they don't owe anything to anyone. • Mother Love Bone was an American rock band that formed in Seattle, Washington in 1988. The band was active from 1988 to 1990. Frontman Andrew Wood's personality and lyrics helped to catapult the group to the top of the burgeoning late 1980s/early 1990s Seattle music scene. Wood died only days before the scheduled release of the band's debut album, Apple, thus ending the group's hopes of success. The album was finally released a few months later. As well as being influential to grunge, they are also considered early pioneers in the alternative metal genre. Pressed on 180gr vinyl. (Unofficial Release)

Newly remastered from the original analogue tapes, Motörhead’s ‘On Parole’ is to be re-released on 9 October as part of National Album Day. Available as a single CD and double-LP, it features six bonus tracks that include a previously unreleased original version of ‘Iron Horse / Born to Lose” and a previously unreleased demo version of ‘Fools’. Other bonus tracks include ‘On Parole’, ‘City Kids’, ‘Motörhead’ and ‘Leaving Here’. There are new liner notes written by founder member Lucas Fox, the band’s original drummer, and features rarely seen photographs and archive content. It will be released with a rare Canadian version of the cover artwork and is the only Motörhead album that features the original line-up of the band (Lemmy on vocals and bass, Larry Wallis on guitar and vocals, and Lucas Fox on drums). Lucas Fox features on all the tracks, including those that Phil Taylor added his drums to. Originally completed in 1976, ‘On Parole’ was the first-ever recorded material by Motörhead, but was released in 1979 after it was originally held-back by then record label United Artists. The album proved to be the starting point of one of the most important bands in rock history, these early recording sessions set Motörhead’s uncompromising sound and became a turning point for Lemmy who would now become front and centre of his own band and, unintentionally, one of the most iconic, influential and celebrated figures in rock music. ‘On Parole’ was eventually released in 1979 becoming the band’s fourth ‘released’ album. The album proved to have a massive impact on British musical culture like very few albums have ever had and became the bridging point from rock to heavy metal and then to punk. With Lemmy having been sacked from space/progressive rock legends Hawkwind, he once again started to hang out with old friend Lucas Fox who shared a multitude of passions and beliefs, and from this Motörhead was born. Purposefully loud, aggressive and provocative, their songs were short, sharp, shocks instead of songs with 20-minute guitar solos. They were unrelenting to their audience... and they loved it. Mourning Noise was an American horror- and hardcore punk band from Lodi, New Jersey, notable for drummer Steve Zing. Active around the time of the Misfits, Mourning Noise were strongly influenced by the Misfits as drummer Steve Zing lived very close to Jerry Only and Doyle's house and Steve went to high school with Doyle. Their music was typically fast and melodic. Mourning Noise released only a small amount of material, typically as 7" singles, apart from the 1998 collection album Death Trip Delivery. Steve later went on to play for Samhain, Son of Sam, The Undead, Chyna, Doomtree, and later, Danzig. Samhain guitarist Damien was briefly a member of the band. This LP includes the group’s complete collection of studio recordings including outtakes. Features the full endorsement and introductory blurb from Glenn Danzig! All tracks recorded between 1981 - 1985. Tracks A1 to A5 (7") recorded in 1982 @ Reel Platinum. Tracks A6 to A8 are demo tracks recorded in 1981 @ Blue Moon Studios. • The late eighties were an exciting time to get caught up in the hardcore scene. While many of the early eighties pioneers of the music had moved along, the scene went through something of a renaissance with a new crop of energetic kids who had seized the power of the music and molded it into something that was relevant to the style of their times. Leading the pack in this regeneration was Revelation Records, who released a clutch of seven-inch singles and albums by bands like SICK OF IT ALL, GORILLA BISCUITS, BOLD, JUDGE and CHAIN OF STRENGTH that defined where the scene was at that time. Somewhere in central New Jersey, a group of kids attending Ewing High School were spinning these records incessantly while attending many of these bands? live shows. The combination set their minds ablaze with inspiration and so they started MOUTHPIECE in January of 1990. In between getting their band from the basement to the clubs, an abrupt change happened within the hardcore scene. Most of the bands MOUTHPIECE wanted to share the stage with had suddenly broken up or changed paths. With no concern for the changes in sound and style going on around them, they went along with their original agenda and unconsciously became the band to lead straight edge hardcore into the nineties until their demise in 1996. Can't Kill What's Inside: The Complete Discography contains the band's entire recorded output. The packaging contains photos of the band as well as a complete listing of every show the band has ever played in their existence. The entire product is both a labor of love as well as a sight to see and proves that what remains is certainly more than words. New pressing now available on coke bottle clear vinyl. (Revelation Records)
  • MOUZAKIS | magic tube | LP

    18.00 incl. tax
Delaware-based power trio Mouzakis conjured an intriguing sound somewhere between traditional rhythm and blues and garage rock, with psychedelic and hard rock leanings. The band occupied something of a unique space during their short reign during the early 1970s, and it was partly their non-standard outlook that kept the group a trio, since other potential musical recruits simply could not find a way through their multidirectional sound. Drummer / lead singer Eddie Stevenson and bassist / keyboardist Fred Dawson had been playing together in the mid-1960s in The Fabulous Pharaohs, which issued sparse singles on short-lived labels such as Three Star and Reprise, issuing a mix of originals and non-standard cover tunes, before splitting off to form Mouzakis, with a number of guitarists failing to last long, before Sam Stipo stepped up to the plate. Soon Mouzakis were carving out a solid reputation as an enthralling live act on the Delaware and Maryland live circuits, opening for all manner of acts, including soul group The Stylistics and smooth pop / rock act, Chicago. Following the release of debut single Don’t Want You No More for Philadelphia’s British Main Records in May 1970, debut album Magic Tube was issued by British Main the following year. The album certainly veers all over the map: Party Ball is straightforward rock ‘n’ roll, while Lady and romance bust-up saga Both Do Fine skate the fine line between garage rock and psychedelia. In contrast, lengthy opener Magic Tube reminds of a less-polished Doors and the live cut of Rock Around the Clock has the benefit of unexpected organ. Definitely a one-away release by a difficult to classify band. (Survival Research)
