  • 3 new songs packed with no-nonsense, nasty and distorted poliical hardcore following the Dutch tradition. Oust is a band with 5 individuals that know eachother for years trough the magical world of DIY punk bands. We are based in Amsterdam and Nijmegen but one of our guitarist decided to live in Rome which is quite far away. We all played in bands before, there is a good chance we met somewhere before :) There is plenty of stuff to be angry about these days and we like to put that energy in our music, we do not believe in happy endings or a good outcome we are going straight into the abyss. That doesnt mean we love to play the music we play, playing shows and meeting our friends that we've met in all these years touring trough Europe and beyond is the reason that these things work. We started out as a very basic straight forward dbeat band but as those things go music evolves and we might get weirder and weirder by the day. We do like to stick close to our crusty hardcore souls and I guess you can hear that. We released a tape that was later re-released by our good friend Jos on beautiful creamy white vinyl, this year we will release an EP trough Sabotage and Autoreverse, we missed playing and being part of our loved community a lot during the covid-times. We are very excited to play shows again and hopefully start touring again in 2022. Into the abyss! OUST (Sabotage Records/2021)

The Flex are BACK! These UKHC legends bring you their signature blend of early 80s UK punk and late 80s NYHC in time for their East Coast USA tour with Arms Race. Thundering 'Inferno' goes straight for the jugular with a wall-of-noise beating, swiftly followed up with the ever so catchy and funked up 'Soma Holiday'. Meanwhile 'Flex 4' is a moody rumbler, with quieter bass and drum led sections, powerful vocals that seem to have been recorded from the top of a mountain, and turbo charged speed change. The new songs will feature on an upcoming LP, and this recording also includes a cover of Gut Instinct's 'Disturbing the Peace' from their 1990 EP, representing Baltimore HC! The title of this edition of Flexual Healing comes from the last ever scene on British comedy show Blackadder 'Goes Forth' series, set in World War I. This is visually alluded to with the devilish character in the artwork, by Tin Tin Savage, wearing a hat similar to those worn by the German army at the time. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Tom Pimlott in Leeds, March 10th 2018 (Painkiller Records)
  • The Fits were a punk rock band from Blackpool, Lancashire, England, who were active between 1979 and 1985, having several hits on the UK Indie Chart. The Last Laugh EP was released in 1982 by Rondelet Records and it is their definitely best release. (Mad Butcher Records)

  • Primitive And Deadly, is EARTH’s tenth studio collection. Dylan Carlson and long term cohort, drummer Adrienne Davies, manage to pull off the trick of completing an Ouroborean creative cycle, twenty-five years in the making, whilst exploring new directions in their music. For the first time in their diverse second act, they allow themselves to be a rock band, freed of adornment and embellishment. As much as Carlson’s guitar has always been the focal point of EARTH’s music, it’s been surrounded by consistently diverse instrumentation. Here the dialog between Carlson and Davies drumming remains pivotal, underpinned by the sympathetic bass of Bill Herzog (Sunn O))), Joel RL Phelps, Jesse Sykes and the Sweet Hereafter) and thickened by additional layers of guitar from Brett Netson (Built To Spill, Caustic Resin) and Jodie Cox (Narrows). Perhaps the largest left turn on Primitive And Deadly, though, is prominence of guest vocalists Mark Lanegan and Rabia Shaheen Qazi (Rose Windows) who transform the traditionally free ranging meditations of EARTH into something approaching traditional pop structures. On “Rooks Across the Gates,” a song stylistically the closest to the folk inspired modality of Angels Of Darkness, Carlson stretches out into some of his most lyrical playing to date, creating an almost symbiotic relationship between his performance and the vocals of old friend Mark Lanegan. “From the Zodiacal Light,” meanwhile, takes the late 60s San Franciscan/freaked-out jazz-rock transcendence of The Bees Made Honey In The Lion’s Skull and quickly re-appropriates that sound into a musky torch song for the witching hour. This contradictive tension between a band pushing itself ever-forward whilst surveying their history is reflected in the albums twin recording locales. The foundation of the record was laid in the mystic desert high lands of Joshua Tree, California where EARTH recorded hour after hour of meditations on each tracks central theme at Rancho de la Luna. Upon returning to Seattle these were edited, arranged and expanded upon at Avast with the help of long-term collaborator Randall Dunn (who was previously at the helm for the Hex, The Bees Made Honey In The Lions Skull and Hibernaculum sessions). Thick, dense and overdriven, melodically rich and enveloping, Primitive And Deadly is EARTH reaffirming their position as a singular point in the history of rock. Produced by earth Recorded at rancho de la luna, joshua tree, ca by mathias schneeberger, assisted by dave catching Mdditional recording and production at crackle & pop and avast, seattle, wa by randall dunn Mixed at avast, seattle, wa by randall dunn Mastered at chicago mastering services by jason ward dylan carlson – guitars adrienne davies – drums and percussion bill herzog – bass brett netson – additional guitars jodie cox – additional guitars mark lanegan – vocals rabia shabeen qazi – vocals randall dunn – moog synthesizer (Southern Lord Records)

The third full-length studio album from Goatsnake- :”Black Age Blues” is an instant classic, with each one of the nine songs (11 on the 2xLp version) an anthem, and each of the four band members on top form. Everything is magnified, Pete Stahl’s vocals have never sounded so soulfully deep, the rhythm section comprised of Greg Rogers on drums and new bass player Scott Renner are the driving force on each track, and Greg Anderson’s riffs are heavier than ever before. Appearing on the album intro ‘to Another River To Cross’ is acoustic guitar courtesy of David Pajo (Slint, Aerial M, Papa M), this track also contains previously released recordings from ‘The River’ by Goatsnake. Piano is played by Mathias Schneeberger and Petra Haden contributes violin and vocals. Another welcome addition to the album, across multiple tracks are brilliant soulful backing vocals by Dem Preacher’s Daughters – Wendy Moten, Gale Mayes and Andrea Merrit. There inclusion on the proceedings evokes a reverent gospel choir aesthetic that intuitively accentuates the heavy darkness laid down by the band. Behind the controls is grammy award winning producer Nick Raskulinecz, who was responsible for the engineering and production of the last Goatsnake full-length album: Flower of Disease. Over the last 15+ years Nick has gone on to work with seminal artists such as Rush, Alice In Chains, Mastodon and Ghost. United again, he and the band are sure to serve a menacing cut of the time-honored, ultra-heavy rock they are infamous for. Black Age Blues is familiar but nothing here is a repetition of what we’ve heard before, as Goatsnake continue to refine the time-honored dark-bluesy doom-rock that they are infamous for, surpassing even the highest of expectations. (Southern Lord Records)
  • "The now legendary NOOTHGRUSH from the Bay area was berthed in the spring of 1994 by founding members Gary Niederhoff on Bass and Chiyo Nukaga on drums. Over the next year the band had various other members including Matt Harvey (Exhumed, Repulsion) on 2nd guitar. It wasn’t until guitarist Russ Kent joined in early 1995 that the classic NOOTHGRUSH lineup was complete! NOOTHGRUSH played 145 shows, toured the U.S. and Quebec for 7 weeks, did numerous west coast, and southwest tours. The band was well known for their consistently bludgeoning assault played at slow as boiling tar tempos. NOOTHGRUSH ceased to exist in 2001, as the band sought to develop new material and not be forced to perform the old repertoire. Unfortunately, involvement with other bands, jobs, etc. kept NOOTHGRUSH from developing. "Live For Nothing" is a compilation of two live on the radio broadcasts the band did in the 90s. One is from KZSU from 1996 and the other from KFJC in 1999. Both recordings are a precise document of the powerful group in their prime. The recordings were mastered by Brad Boatright (From Ashes Rise guitarist) and breathe black fumes of toxins once again!" Track Listing 01. Sith 02. Gage 03. Jundland Wastes 04. Evazan 05. Southern Lord is proud to be chosen to reissue SCREAM’s everlasting No More Censorship album. The band found the original multi-track tapes and Southern Lord had them baked/prepped for a remix at Scream drummer Dave Grohls’ 606 Studio. The new mix sounds vital and intense; the entire packaging, layout, and design is completely different from the original, with the inclusion of photos, lyrics, poetry, and other personal writings from the band during that era, collected in an extensive booklet. US pressing of the debut 7" EP from Toronto's KREMLIN. Originally released in 2012 on Germany's Hardware Records, we decided it wouldn't hurt to press up a North American version to coincide with the release of the band's "Drunk in the Gulag" LP, released earlier this year on Beach Impediment / Bad Vibrations Records. This EP delivers five loud and chaotic rippers, combining influences ranging from UK/European hardcore to some good ol' USHC, with a hint of Japanese Noisecore thrown in ... it's fast, raw, and to the goddamn point! Newly remastered for maximum intensity! (Grave Mistake Records)

There are punk records, and there are punk records. Then there are those vinyl artifacts that people like Tesco Vee and Ryan Richardson have described as sacred objects outside of time and place. Like 'Horizontal Action' by The Psycho Surgeons, 'To Find Out' by The Keggs or 'Agitated' by The Electric Eels, this record is a work of art so pure, powerful, fucked up, crazed wild and sublime. Reissue of the first single by the legendary Dangerous Rhythm, originally released in 1979, one of the greatest and rarest records to come out of Mexican punk. Presented with new artwork. "For years, I would attend the massive record fair in Utrecht. As Fall approached Winter, it always felt pretty good going to a rainy and windy Netherlands to fan the flame of record collecting to warm oneself up for the winter. I love the Utrecht record fair. It is a vibrant, global crazy place full of OCD, enthusiasm and ADD. Dealers from around the world meet collectors from around the world, and the interaction seems to be a lot more enthusiastic and a lot less snarky than what goes down on Ebay or Discogs. Every year, I'd high-tail it to the Mexican dealers' table, and always ask for the same thing: records by Dangerous Rhythm. I can't remember how I first found out about the band, but the description of the music as primitive garage punk with a Chain Gang/Pagans-esque flair was enough for my wallet to drool. One year, I acquired the Dangerous Rhythm 12", another year the "Rock en El Chopo" compilation, and then finally, and nothing could really have prepared me for it, the shocking, illustrious, sublime 'Stray Cat Blues' 45. There are punk records, and there are punk records. Then there are those vinyl artifacts that people like Tesco Vee and Ryan Richardson have described as sacred objects outside of time and place. I feel that way about this 45. Like 'Horizontal Action' by The Psycho Surgeons, 'To Find Out' by The Keggs or 'Agitated' by The Electric Eels, this record is a work of art so pure, powerful, fucked up, crazed wild and sublime that I get that same electrical charge from the experience that I get from Jackson Pollock or Charley Patton or the lady of my heart. 'Stray Cat Blues' also happens to be a hellaciously rare record. A 1979 Mexican micro-pressing. Thank God it is now readily available in reality through the good folks at Munster!". • Last year 2021 Wasted celebrated their 25th anniversary and played their earliest songs to sold out crowds in Finland. One of Finland’s best known and most iconic punk rock bands has toured all corners of Europe and seen Finland in and out. Formed in Joensuu, Finland in 1996, the band is nowadays spread over Helsinki-Tampere-Berlin. The previous album “Here Comes The Darkness” (2013) and mini album “The Truth Will Not Be Televised” (2016) were really well received and the band continued to pull crowds and had people wanting to hear more new songs rather than old ones – the best feedback a 25 year old band can wish for. Now Wasted is back with a new album, arguably stronger than ever. The upcoming 10 song album will be out on LP/CD/TAPE/DIGITAL on April 8th on Sabotage records and Combat Rock Industry. Some songs continue on the same path than its predecessors, some are introducing darker postpunk and 80s melodic hardcore influences but yet creating an original sound that can be only described as Wasted. Full of energy, pissed off, sincere, in your face and raw. The lyrics are as political and straight forward as in the early days. These catchy and energetic songs meet with thought-provoking lyrics about gentrification, war, misogynists, climate change, racism, conspiracy theorists, mental health… The first single “Break You” is a about the mental struggle in the hectic modern society.
