• US Import. Death were a black power trio from Detroit who released a single in 1975 and pretty much disappeared after that. Inspired by the raw Rock 'N' Roll of the Stooges and MC5, the three brothers moved away from their Funk/R&B roots into a new realm.... for the Whole World to See features the two songs from the single ('Keep on Knocking' and 'Politicians in My Eyes') and five other tracks. MOS DEF SAYS: "These dudes were pre-Sex Pistols, pre-Bad Brains, pre-all that shit, and nobody knows about them. I don't understand how the world could forget them. You really should read up on the history of this Rock n' Roll artifact. A google search will help; something like "death band punk 1974"... The album reminds me of these bands: MC5, The Jam, Zero Boys, Early Police, RadioBirdMan - to name a few. If any of those bands are at your top 10, then this is a must have piece in your collection. NOTE: They are also selling it on vinyl on here!!! The story to this piece of work is very interesting not to mention inspiring to say the least. The songs? All are hits in my mind. I just wish there were more!" (Drag City Records)

  • A final repress of the mid ninties classic Skuld release of Portland's DETESTATION. An absolutel classic of nineties anarcho-hardcore punk that sounds like a mix between Nausea & Sacrilege with some influences from old Swedish bands and highly angry socio-political lyrics. Existing between roughly 1995—1998 or so, Detestation was a rather surprisingly prolific group during that time. This repress of the band's 1998 self-titled LP collects some of their finest material. Though the mandatorily interconnected Portland lineup contains pre-/post- ties to Defiance, Masskontroll, Resist, Hellshock, and Severed Head of State, among others, Detestation's rather commonplace brand of 90's crust punk remains a well rooted benchmark for the scene, and with good reason. Thanks in no small part to some scorching female vocals with great vocal arrangements, the band's lightly metallic power chords tended to be a little tighter and more memorable than most, thus Detestation is rightfully remembered as one of the finest of the genre. (Original txt Aversion Online) Includes Lyric Sheet and large Poster. (Skuld Records / Profane Existence /Consensus Reality‎)
  • Their first tape last year was unbelievably gnarly, and on "Inhabit The Corpse", these ghouls have truly broken loose from the restraints of mortal frailty and are unleashing a thrashing, chorus drenched wickedness unheard by the likes of any puny human. Thine ears cannot possibly be prepared for their unholy onslaught, yet it is here and there is nothing you or anyone else on earth can do to stop it. Is there really a good reason to not surrender your soul over to absolute turpitude made manifest through what can best be described as the amalgam of Japanese black metal/punk rippers SEX MESSIAH and the (secretly Finnish) hardcore punk steamroller of a project SYUDAN JISATSU, or in other words: absolute shredding annihilation from beyond the veil? Many bands may try to unleash the darkness and have their invocations met with silence - or maybe a whisper if they’re lucky - as they fizzle out; but when DEVIL MASTER calls, death comes fucking ripping (and we should expect nothing less from villains who also have given us horrific creations as members of CAPE OV BATS, BLANK SPELL, INTEGRITY, and THE DRIP to name a few). In just four tracks, Devil Master shatters your nerves, breaks your will, and drags your limp and drained vessel back into the world, leaving you all alone with nothing but reflection of what has come to pass as you sputter and sob, waiting for the end. This is an experience which is not to be missed. (Erste Theke Tontraeger) https://erstetheketontraeger.bandcamp.com/album/ett-055-devil-master-s-t-ep
  • The Band you've been looking for for a long time, with sounds of dissimilar genres that don't usually cross combined, is out when you least expect it to be. This fully fledged outfit of sheer old-school twisted intensity is a must-listen, no sweat! Devil Master with their four tracks of devilish hardcore punk in the vein of GAI or LSD packed in a deathrock vibe. The Japanese hardcore influence is prevalent but there is so much more! That is punk, metal and goth inspired hardcore punk with demonic vocals and hard as nail beats which is extremely hard to shake once you hear it. The torturous maelstrom sounds of bone breaks and thuggish isolationism. Howling feedback underscores the massive swirling riffs and relentless battery of drums. Foul, tumultuous vocals made entirely of the final exhalations of humanity really send this opus to the apex. A perfect band. The four distorted tracks on this EP mix perfectly the low end reverb soaked deathrock influences with the best of the International Hardcore Punk of the early 80's. Making it a masterpiece of timeless punk. This EP is a perfectly wild and superbly crafted sheet of brutal noise with a pounding goth backbone all jacked up on blackened metal freakout space jams. And you know that Satan smiled when he heard this! (Erste Theke Tontraeger) https://erstetheketontraeger.bandcamp.com/album/ett-055-devil-master-s-t-ep

One of the few hardcore bands from the early '80s to feature an outspoken and openly gay frontman -- in Texas, no less -- the Dicks, alongside the Big Boys, were the national scene's voice from the Lone Star state. Formed in Austin in 1980, the Dicks released their first and most famous single; Hate the Police, shortly thereafter. This is their second (and arguably) better single from 1984. • “Beer City Skateboards and Records is proud to reissue the classic, phenomenal first 7” of the early 80’s hardcore band : DIE KREUZEN — Cows and Beer ! After having been out of print for nearly 30 years the original master tapes from this ground breaking release had finally been restored, remastered and given a proper reissue! “We are doing this because we want to squash the bootleggers,” DIE KREUZEN singer Dan Kubinski explains. “For years they have been putting out inferior-quality bullshit and ripping off our fans. We want to give our fans a very clean, crisp, loud-and-heavy version of Cows and Beer. Billy Cicerelli from WMSE did the initial remastering and then Dave Eik of Lucky Lacquers did further remastering and cut the lacquers -and man, did they do an awesome job! This new version blows the doors and windows off of any other, including the original Version Sound release” Recorded in a few hours on Sept 11 1982 at a recording studio deep in Milwaukee’s south side. The result would be 6 songs that would help redefine the intensity and standard of this newly forming off shot of punk known as hardcore. Some even say this record is the paving way for another offshoot of punk that would rear its head some years latter and become known as thrash! When this record originally came out it was limited to a few short-run pressings. This time it will be released as a special RSD release for 2014 and will come on five different colors of vinyl for a grand total of 5000! (1000 each of red, gold, blue, green & clear vinyl). To make things even more spectacular, this record will feature brand new liner notes by the band as well as the original lyric sheet and then the one from the second pressing!” (Beer City Records)

  • Originally released in 1991 War Cry was one of the first purely DISCHARGE influenced bands to span what later become popularly known as D-Beat. Hailing from Halifax, they were part of a new wave of raging UK bands with worshiped "Why" as the finest piece on non-music ever recorded. DISASTER faded into obscurity shortly after releasing their MLP and War Cry became a cult record among raw hardcore fans worldwide counting visionaries as Kawakami from DISCLOSE as one of their biggest fans. Finally reissued on CD in Japan in 2006 with extra live sets and unreleased songs LVEUM decide to bring this record back to life on its original format. This reissue comes with an extra Flexi Disc including two Discharge cover songs ( "Mania from Conquest" off the V/A Discharged CD and the unreleased "Fight Back" from the War Cry MLP session) as well as "Death Race" from the "A nightmare on Albion Street" compilation LP. It also comes with a 12 pages 11"x11" booklet containing flyers, pictures, interview and other memorabilia. To top things up Japanese copies will include an extra insert with DISASTER's history written by Jacky Crust War as well as Japanese translations of the ban lyrics. Also Japanese and mailorder copies also will come with an obi. (La Vida Es Un Mus)

  • DELUXE VINYL EDITION!!! CLEAR VINYL Official Discharge reissue of this legendary live release from the band’s golden days, originally released on Clay Records in 1989. A slab of pure rawness that captures these UK Punk icons in an intense, ultra-powerful performance during their legendary 2nd US tour in autumn 1983. These recordings were taped on the sound desk on the night of the concert and although they may lack the technology of full studio recordings they nevertheless capture the live excitement of a Discharge gig. 20 years ago DISCLOSE released their response to the greatest hardcore 12” ever released: DISCHARGE’s Why. At the time the band was at the peak of their DISCHARGE era and had perfectly crafted a trademark sound, which shows through on the recording. The chainsaw-sounding double-toned guitar, Kawakami’s unmistakable vocals, and a rhythm section firmly based on the Stoke-On-Trent’s beat melded together to create a repetitive mantra-like noise chant. Recorded at Grove Cargo and mastered at Studio D-Takt by Jan Jutila, the production is a perfect example of noise not music pressed into vinyl, with both high and low frequencies cutting through the mix without losing any power. Lyrically Nightmare Or Reality focuses on the tragic sights of bullshit fucking war while aurally the record is a full-blown attack on all senses. D-Beat Raw Punk at its best. 20 years on and many times imitated but never duplicated. Originally released by MCR Company, this 20 year anniversary official reissue comes in a printed inner sleeve and heavy board outer sleeve. (La Vida Es Un Mus Records)

    DISCLOSE | tragedy | LP

180 Gram record housed in a paste on board sleeve. Indiscriminate cruelty to common people: the slogan could be about war or it could be about your eardrums while listening to 'Tragedy.' Disclose's first LP is a landmark of cacophonous, guitar-forward noisy hardcore. Heavily influenced by classic 80s Swedish raw punk, these fifteen songs perfect the unrelenting formula as only Kawakami could. Originally released in Japan on the cult label Overthrow in 1994, this reissue restores the fierce original mix two decades later. It differs from the mix on later represses hailing from Uppsala, where Swedish bombshelter-dwellers keep the flame alive. This authorized reissue reproduces the original artwork, with insert. Crack your brain up! (La Vida Es Un Mus)

Doom is an English crust punk band from Birmingham, England, formed in 1987. Despite its short existence (though Doom is active on the live scene as of late), the band is considered pivotal in the rise of crust punk movement. They recorded for Peaceville Records and are cited as an early precursor to the grindcore style of heavy metal music, & are often compared with seminal act Discharge. Doom were also a favorite of BBC Radio DJ John Peel. In its formative years, Peaceville had heard about Doom through word of mouth and asked if they were interested in contributing songs to the first compilation, "A Vile Peace". Doom went into the studio to record their first demo on 28 August 1987. Three songs were recorded, two of which appeared on "A Vile Peace". On the strength of this first recording Peaceville asked Doom if they would record a full LP for them, which they agreed to do. In Feburary 1988, Doom went into the "Rich Bitch" studios and recorded 21 songs for the album, "War Crimes". "Total Doom" was the band's second album, originally released in 1989, & was a collection of the "Police Bastard" EP, "War Crimes" LP, plus the "Bury the Debt - not the Dead" split release tracks. This edition of Total Doom is presented on double 180gm heavyweight black vinyl with gatefold sleeve. Tracks 1-21 previously available as "War Crimes - Inhuman Beings" (Peaceville Records LP; VILE 4) Tracks 22-31 previously available as "Bury The Debt - Not The Dead" (Peaceville Records LP; Vile II) Tracks 32-36 previously available as "Police Bastard"-7" Track 37 to be used as a compilation LP track in benefit of the "1 in 12" Club. Warsaw's finest dark hardcore veterans Drip of Lies return with the first new album in 7 years. You have a chance now to stream through their bandcamp their second full-length "Hell" where the band deliver even more aggressive and depressive metallic hardcore crust.
