• We have been working on this one for a while now and we are thrilled to finally announce it. This is a live LP from D.C.'s legendary hardcore band Faith! Recorded live in December of 1981, opening for the Bad Brains, this LP is 2 complete sets and it captures the bands incredible live energy. This is early, raw hardcore at it's best. All photos are by Glen E Friedman, who was at the show and went on to shoot everyone from Minor Threat, the Beastie Boys and Public Enemy. Guy Picciotto from Fugazi traveled with the band for the show and had this to say... "The Faith were one of the best live bands DC ever produced. Having been there, I can confidently say that their show with the Bad Brains at CBGB’s on 12/26/81 was the best concert happening anywhere on the Planet Earth that night. Nothing else could have come close." (Outer Battery Records) https://www.brooklynvegan.com/qa-w-the-faith-on-upcoming-live-album-from-1981-cbgb-show-with-bad-brains-stream-a-track/
  • Formed in Barcelona in the summer of 2017, Fatamorgana sprang to life from the hearts and minds of Patrycja Anna Proniewska and Louis Harding. What began as a bedroom project of sorts (monophonic synthesisers, 4-track cassette recordings) the project soon blossomed into a functional live unit. Following a self-released cassette single at the start of the year, the pair spent the latter part of 2018 touring continental Europe and the west coast of North America.

Recorded at Holyrook Estudio in Barcelona, Terra Alta is the group's first full-length effort. The verse-chorus songwriting, the raw set-up of 2-synths-and-a-beat, and the primal rhythms nod to the duo's background in punk. But Terra Alta has a pensive and mesmeric quality, provided in part by an outstanding production job (Studio AS One, Warsaw), but also by lyrics concerning themselves with themes of love, time travel, reflections on the future, the power of imagination and the mysteries of the natural world. If pressed for musical references the band could be pin-pointed somewhere between early DEPECHE MODE, YOUNG MARBLE GIANTS, THE HUMAN LEAGUE and a rounder around the edges BORGHESIA.
Dreamlike synthesisers and echoed voices circle around danceable rhythms, inviting you to simultaneously contemplate and move your body. Allow yourself to be teleported from the majesty of Nature, to the glow of the discotheque.

  • First time ever on vinyl: Fear of God - Toxic Voodoo (1994) FEAR OF GOD was formed in 1989 out of the ashes of L.A. Thrash Metal Band DETENTE. They made it to a deal with Warner for their debut album "Withing The Veil". The album was very well appreciated in the worldwide hard'n heavy scene and the original pressing is a sought after collectors item nowadays. In 1994, after line-up changes due to personal differences FEAR OF GOD released their 2nd and last album "Toxic Voodoo". This album was rougher than "Within The Veil". The Thrash roots of DETENTE are meeting doom metal and excellent instrumental work plus the incomparable lyrics and voice of Dawn Crosby. Guitars are even boardering into Death Metal here and there. To my ears it's a perfect match. "Back to the Thrash roots of Detente but flavoured with some Doom parts. This album kills!" (Rock Hard Germany, 26.08.1994) On December 15 1996, Dawn Crosby, to many the soul of Fear of God, dies of acute liver failure due to years of excessive alcohol abuse. (Hand Of Doom Records)
  • FOD’s classic 1986 LP remastered and expanded to include everything the band did from June 1982 thought 1986. Includes the Chinese Food EP, Love Songs EP (1984), all the comp tracks and the live on WXPN recording. (SRA Records)
  • Vengeful female-fronted sonic fury from Seattle, Washington. A 13 song debut showcasing black & white hardcore-crust worship that aligns with Disfear, Nausea, ABC Diabolo and Capitalist Casualties. Kind of rockin’ too in places, like Coliseum. Fronted by Lisa Mungo – one of those crazed exhibitionists that the punk scene, thankfully, throws-up every so often – who, along with the guitarist, also plays in excellent doom/sludge outfit, He Whose Ox Is Gored. This album is a slow burner, one that you might want to catch-up on, quick… Born in a warehouse in South Lake Union, Fucked And Bound delivers Seattle, WA, hardcore that's built to spank thru. With their album "Suffrage," the band slams forth 13 songs in 23 minutes in an acid bath of pure sonic fury. Brickwalled and claustrophobic, these tracks seethe over feminism, nihilism, and the pitfalls of industry, to ask, what is the cost of good living? • GBH | momentum | LP

    20.00 incl. tax
Momentum is the 11th studio album from these punk rock heroes. The influential, long-lived punk metal band GBH rose to prominence in England during the early ‘80s when hardcore punk began inching toward heavy metal. Emerging from the streets of Birmingham, England, GBH pioneered hardcore punk and thrash yet refuse to categorize themselves or their music. “We play punk rock, period” says lead singer Colin Abrahall. We just carry on, playing what we like. We never set out to do anything other than that.” GBH never stray far from their working class roots. You are just as likely to find GBH playing a local pub in England as a multi-thousand fan festival in Spain or Japan. The fact is GBH enjoy playing small clubs just as much as large halls. “Some of my favorite shows in the States are in small towns”, says guitarist Colin “Jock” Blyth, “the kids there don’t get a lot of bands coming through. They’re so excited and there’s so much energy; it’s a real communal thing.” (Hellcat Records)
  • GELD | soft power | EP

    8.00 incl. tax
A nasty followup EP to the Perfect Texture LP released earlier this year finds GELD in a more irascible and unhinged state. Soft Power expands on the band's vision of a freer form of D-Beat with noisier sounds, tighter dimensions, wilder visions and subtler experimentation with carefully placed nuances. Don't be tricked into thinking this is some sort of hippy dippy jamband bullshit though, every second of this is cruelly calculated and executed with the utmost care. Damn. 250 black and 150 translucent orange 75gr vinyl copies housed in a custom ILR 80# felt weave glued pocket sleeve with insert and download code included. Recorded by Billy Gardener and Julian Cue. Art by Sam McKenzie. (Iron Lung Records)
  • Attention classic 77 Punk Rock fans, here's something very special for you - the unearthed demo recordings Generation X did (presumably for Chiswick Records) in February 1977, a year before the release of their seminal first album. A treasure chest filled to the rafters with raw, untamed, youthful versions of anthemic hits such as Wild Youth, Dancing with Myself, Your Generation or Ready Steady Go alongside lesser known songs from their catalog. An essential piece for the collection of those interested in these brit Punk pioneers. (Deaf Youth Industries)
  • A reissue of the second album by the Italian quintet Giuda, the greatest '70s glam-rock band to exist since... the 1970s. This LP is an exciting progression for Giuda featuring more complicated arrangements, more ambitious songwriting and an even bigger sound while retaining all the pure fun and infections glam-punk hooks of their debut album. (Damaged Goods Records)

Hold Me Up is the third studio album by American rock band Goo Goo Dolls, originally released in 1990 by Metal Blade Records. It marked the beginning of John Rzeznik's emergence as the band's principal lead vocalist. The album features the band's first single "There You Are." (Metal Blade Records)
  • Jed is the second studio album by Goo Goo Dolls, originally released in 1989 by Metal Blade Records. It was the band's first album in which John Rzeznik sang vocals for some of the tracks; the majority of the songs are sung by Robby Takac, with Rzeznik taking over for two ("Up Yours" and "James Dean"). The album was named after painter Jed Jackson, who was Robby Takac's art teacher at Medaille College and who painted the cover artwork, which is entitled "Arkansas Sunset". (Metal Blade Records)

GORILLA BISCUITS' "start today" is one of the most influential records in hardcore. Hailing from NYC, GORILLA BISCUITS carved a niche within the New York scene. Blending the aggression and energy of bands like AGNOSTIC FRONT with a sense of melody likened to DAG NASTY, GORILLA BISCUITS still stands as a unique reference point for many hardcore bands that have come after them. This is an essential part of any record collection. Colored (blue) vinyl includes a digital download card. (Revelation Records)
  • GRAUZONE | same title | LP

    25.00 incl. tax
WRWTFWW Records is very happy to reissue Swiss cult band Grauzone’s self-titled album in an expanded 40 Years Anniversary Edition packed with the original 1981 album plus 9 extra songs, as well as extensive liner notes by Swiss music historian Lurker Grand. The 19-track album is available as a double LP vinyl in heavy 350gsm sleeve and a digipack CD, both sourced from the original reels and put together under the supervision of band member and all around legend Stephan Eicher. The pioneering band from Bern (Switzerland) had a short-lived but highly-regarded career which birthed a cult discography that still fascinates and resonates today. Consisting of core members Martin Eicher, Stephan Eicher, and Marco Repetto, and on-and-off participants Christian GT Trüssel, Claudine Chirac, and Ingrid Berney, the elusive group broke new grounds in the early 80s, experimenting with punk and industrial music, early techno sounds, minimalism, new wave, pop, and various electronics. With an innovative and polished approach to design, visuals, performance, and all around style and philosophy on top of their superb music, the constantly transforming unit developed a whole experience - the Grauzone experience: wild and unpredictable, yet sophisticated and cohesive, or as Swiss music historian Lurker Grand would call it, "an Art band with a Punk attitude". Completely rejecting the music industry rules and refusing to play the game of promotion, touring, release schedules, and TV appearances even though they had a multi-platinum international hit with the song "Eisbär", the band quickly disintegrated in full convention-defying glory, leaving behind an inspiring music legacy for the world to discover and discover again, one generation after the other. This extended version of their debut (and only) album beautifully crystallizes the Grauzone miracle/accident - where pop and youthful experimentation meet at (new/cold/no) wave and industrial crossroads, and where classic hits ("Eisbär", "FILM 2", "Raum", "Träume Mit Mir", "Der Weg Zu Zweit"…) flawlessly mesh with unconventional deep cuts ("In Der Nacht", "Film 1", "Maikäfer Flieg"…). Very simply put: GOOD timeless music with an edge. Stephan Eicher went on to be, arguably, the most successful Swiss musician ever, with an international career extending from pop chanson to experimental escapades and collaborations with Moondog, artists Sophie Calle and Sylvie Fleury, and author Martin Suter among many other luminaries. Marco Repetto flourished as a techno and ambient producer, releasing multiple projects including releases on Aphex Twin’s Rephlex label. (WRWTFWW Records)
  • GRUESOMES | cave-in! | LP

    18.50 incl. tax
This is the 2021 Re-Issue of "Cave-in!", widely considered as thee outstanding GRUESOMES album! The GRUESOMES are teen-trash gigants formed in 1985 and one our favourite garage rockers. The album is full of killer originals and couple awesome cover versions, soaked in the snarly vocals and punk fuzz guitars. Totally new artwork, tasty neanderthal grease by Furillo! (Alien Snatch! Records)
  • Rising like the phoenix from the ashes of the first version of the band; The Haskels served up heavy doses of three minute, adrenaline-fueled hard punk pop, as evidenced on the highly sought after, Killed by Death bootlegged, “Taking the City by Storm” EP released in 1981 on their own Milwaukee Hits label. Now the full story of the band can be heard, seen, and told. As the decade turned from the rust belt 70’s to the Reagan-era 80’s, the original Haskels (see their self-titled LP released last year on Splunge) split into two factions, with the local punk/new wave/post-punk scene moving to the gritty Starship club in downtown Milwaukee. The Haskels were instrumental in getting bands to play the venue, including the Oil Tasters, Plasticland, Ama-Dots, Shivvers, Die Kreuzen and a burgeoning Violent Femmes. The version of the Haskels represented here initially included Presley Haskel and Gerard LaValliere, fresh from the first line up of the band; joined by the crack rhythm section of Bobby Mitchell and Vodie Rhinehardt. Later tracks, including the EP were recorded by the Presley/Bobby/Vodie trio. In either case, the material is a match made in punk pop heaven; coupling Presley’s knife-sharp songwriting sensibilities with a tight unit of A-Team musicians driving the music forward. “Taking the City by Storm” includes 14 tracks of rare and never before released material from the Splunge Archives. The release is comprised of demos, live tracks and the entire, highly coveted “Taking the City by Storm” EP, remastered for the first time. Co-released with our pals at Bachelor Records, we’re sure you’ll dig hearing these long-lost gems. (Splunge Communications Inc./ Bachelor Records)

Long awaited record from two Greek bands. Hellstorm perform four new songs in the vein of Extinction Of Mankind / Disfear. The top-notch recording takes the band to the next level. This is their best work, in my opinion. Panikos appear on the flip side. This band is very active lately as regards new recordings and releases. They offer three new songs along their usual high standards established during their latest albums; this time with a tad of psychedelia thrown in the mix. Good looking artwork, different for each band, and 34 minutes of music in total. 500 copies on Black vinyl. (Scarecrow Records)
  • Punk hardcore with some metal influences. HdMF are from Argentina. Includes free download, booklet, and lyrics translations in portuguese, english, spanish, german and french.

The HEX DISPENSERS officially started on 6.6.06 and they contaminate us with evil pop and arsenic rock. From Austin, TX - the trio is Alex Cuervo on vocals and guitar (formerly in BLACKTOP, the KING SOUND QUARTET, the GOSPEL SWINGERS, the NOW TIME DELEGATION, a FEAST OF SNAKES and THIS DAMN TOWN), Tom Kodiak (KODIAKS, DIRTY SWEETS) on guitar and Alyse Mervosh (THIS DAMN TOWN, WINKS) on the best sounding drums. • Who else can attract you with halloween pop and give you ice age snow storm camping? The looong awaited second album by our all beloved HEX DISPENSERS is here! The Austin top-tenners know how to deliver and feed the growing army of unbelievers with 12 new paranormal hit servings of their wolf spider soup, mexican bat-blood-ice-cream and medium norwegian raindeer eyes. These songs are frosted poison pills of sheer madness, lunacy! Alex Cuervo demon-calling vocals and the dispensers isolated but penetrating guitar sound and rhythm section let us stray aimlessly thru the night. Feel cornered by their genious simplicity, you still may call the WIPERS / MISFITS / RAMONES reference? Guess it´s too late pinning the HEX DISPENSERS to the wall when they already got shooted to Valhöll for their frenetic garage pop in 2007. As their first s/t album, "Winchester Mystery House" is recorded by mastermind #1 Mark Ryan (MARKED MEN) - this time mastermind #2 Dave Rahn (CARBONAS) added finishing touches. The album includes the re-recorded sold out singles "Lose my Cool" and "My Love is Bat" as far as a DEVO-Cover "Gates of Steel". Here at ALIEN SNATCH! we love putting records out where we can´t name our favorite song. Pressing on 180g vinyl and nice inner sleeve. Yes, they are the rocknroll bail-out. https://aliensnatch.bandcamp.com/album/hex-dispensers-winchester-mystery-house
  • HHH was one of the most popular and influential spanish HC bands ever, and here's their very first demotape, "Sin identidad" (1985), their debut single "Intelectual punks" (1986) and finally the outtakes from those recording sessions that were never released. This is raging and fast no frills Hardcore, sometimes reminescent of bands like LÄRM, WRETCHED, NEOS, MOB 47 and other raw speed champions of the 80s scene! (B-core Records)
