Released in july 1975, Black Sabbath's sixth studio album gained another favourable review from Rolling Stone magazine who stated "Sabotage is not only Black Sabbath's best record since 'Paranoid' it might be their best ever. Even with the usual themes of death, destruction and mental illness running throughout this album, the unleashed frenzy and raw energy they've returned to here comes like a breath of fresh air". The album is evidence that the band still weren't afraid of musical experimentation and as such, is their most varied and complex production of their formative period. With powerful signature tracks such as 'Symptom of the Universe' and 'Hole in the Sky' which became firm fan favourites, 'Sabotage' would reach the top 20 in the uk and also number 28 in the us. 180 gram vinyl. (Sanctuary Records/Vertigo/2015)
  • Digitally remastered edition of this 1976 album from the veteran Heavy Metal madmen. Technical Ecstasy was born of fire and raised in flames. What emerged was definitely several steps removed from those far off days of their eponymous debut in 1970. But this was a band who were several years further down the musical dirt track and one not prepared to repeat the past. Sabbath retained their trademark ability to riff and blaze like no others on the planet, but they were also expanding their universe, proving to everyone they could not only march boldly on towards the end of their first decade together, but could adapt and mature into the bargain. This remastered and sumptuous edition of the album boasts comprehensive story of the album sleeve-notes by renowned Rock critic Malcolm Dome and a plethora of rare and previously unseen photographs and items of memorabilia. 180 gr vinyl. Black Train Jack is known as the hardcore troupe from 90s New York. The band was founded by Token Entry's Ernie Parada, Nine Lives' Rob Vitale and joined by former Token Entry roadie Brian on bass and Nick on drums, who was new in music. Black Train Jack obviously owed stylistic debts to Agnostic Front and Murphy's Law, but with more of an ear for melody. In 1993 they released their debut album No Reward on Roadrunner, the album is all haywire energy and fight adrenaline, a blitz of surprisingly melodic vocal declarations supported by buzzing guitar. No Reward is available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on translucent red coloured vinyl. - 180 gram audiophile vinyl - Includes an inset - Limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on translucent red coloured vinyl (Music on Vinyl)

  • BLITZ | killing dream | LP

    18.50 incl. tax
3'rd BLITZ album released after the reunion in 1990 now available as re-isssue on vinyl via Papagájuv Hlasatel Records from Czech Republic. 13 songs, including 2 instrumentals. Only Nidge Miller (Guitar) remained from the original line-up and recorded all guitar, bass and drum parts for this album. Gary Bassnet from ATTACK took over vocal duties and they punched out 13 solid tracks somewhere between the original Streetpunk and Post-punk BLITZ. Far more powerful production than "Second Empire Justice". "This is nothing like the old Blitz, because its a record entirely played by the only original Blitz member, guitarist Nidge on bass and guitar, Gary Bassnet from Attak on vocals. The result is an interesting post-punk sounding album, more relaxed and everything but OI ! sounding, with characteristic Nidge guitar playing plus a second guitar of basic but excellent riffling and soloing. "Well, Mackie wasn't interested, and Carl was living in Australia at the time, but Link offered me th opprtunity to do another Blitz album, and I wanted to do it. The song "Killing Dream" was actually written in 1983 and intended as a Blitz song anyway; it would've been the follow-up to "New Age" if things had been different. But it was an odding time, there was very little going on in the punk scene, and of course, we didn't have a drummer,se we had to use this horrible drum machine, which was the main drawback. But the album did pretty well for Link here, and it came out in America through Cleopatra." Nidge died in 2007, aged 48, shortly after a reunion tour. Originally released in 1989 on Link Records." (Papagájův Hlasatel Records)
  • Blitz were among the most influential punk bands ever. It was Gary Bushell (who wrote for Sounds and was later dubbed the 'Godfather of Oi!') who brought the band to the attention of his friend Chris Berry, who had just set up No Future records with a bank loan and high hopes. No Future 001 (and Blitz's debut release) was a 4-track EP titled 'All Out Attack', a 20,000-copy bestseller that made the label's fortune, later to become the most representative of the whole UK82 movement. Its follow-up, 'Never Surrender', reached number 2 on the Indie charts, while their 3rd EP, 'Warriors', showed their slight move towards the sing-a-long style of classic Oi! Recorded live at the legendary Lyceum in London in April of 1982, just after the release of their second 7" (with a few tracks from the Skunx club in Islington recorded a few weeks later) this is the band at their absolute live peak. Crucial UK OI! recorded live, the way the genre was meant to be heard, with a beer in one hand and the other with a fist in the air. Blazing and brutal and classic UK82.

A pure shot of abrasive punk/rock 'n' roll with a hint of working class Oi!, Blitz were among the most influential punk bands ever. It was Gary Bushell (who wrote for "Sounds" and was later dubbed the God Father of Oi!) who brought the band to the attention of his friend Chris Berry, who had just set up No Future records with a bank loan and high hopes. No Future 001 catalog (and Blitz's debut release) was a 4 track EP titled "All Out Attack", a 20,000 copy bestseller that made the label's fortune, later to become the most representative of the whole UK82 movement. Its follow-up, "Never Surrender", reached number 2 in the Indie charts, while their 3rd EP, "Warriors", showed their slight move towards the singalong-style of classic OI!. Before shifting to a more new wave-influenced vein right by the end of 1983, they managed to reach number 2 in the charts with a fourth and last 'punk' single, "New Age". This 1980-1983 complete retrospective features all four aforementioned singles along with their very first recording session from 1980, the legendary 'Timebomb' demos, and 4 cuts from the "Voice Of A Generation" demos!  (Radiation Records)
  • Raw, violent and catchy, Blitz's 1982 debut album sounded like a shot of pure rock and roll through the violence of the English working class. Made up by two punks and two skinheads, with a lot to say about violence and football, Blitz appealed to all kinds of lowlifes, who finally had a voice for their generation. Total classic. (Radiation Records)
  • Punk band formed in Southport, UK in 1981. Their first release was a track on 'A Country Fit For Heroes' compilation (No Future Records). "Lest We Forget" is their second vinyl release from 1982. This reissue is pressed in an edition of 500 copies. (Mad Butcher Records)
  • Reissue for John Joseph’s own all-star group 2017 debut album FEATURING: John Joseph (Cro-Mags) Todd Youth (ex Danzig/Murphy’s Law) Nick Oliveri (ex-Queens Of The Stone Age/The Dwarves) Joey Castillo (ex-Queens Of The Stone Age/Danzig) WHITE VINYL EDITION - LIMITED TO 500 COPIES ONLY WITH DOUBLE SIDED INSERT At it's purest, there is little that can match the visceral thrill and empowering spirit of hardcore. As frontman of New York City hardcore kings Cro-Mags, this is something John Joseph knows very well, and with Up In Arms, he and his Bloodclot compatriots deliver a furious collection that hits hard on every level. "In this band we're doing what each of us have always done: give it our all," he states plainly. The results reflect the roots and passions of the individual members. Danzig/Murphy's Law guitarist Todd Youth was the first piece of the puzzle. Having been friends with Queens Of The Stone Age and Danzig powerhouse drummer Joey Castillo for three decades, he and Joseph had long admired each other's work, and their collaboration has been a long time coming. Following Castillo's suggestion of bringing in Nick Oliveri (Queens Of The Stone Age, The Dwarves) to handle bass duties, the lineup was complete. Every track on Up In Arms lives up to the rallying cry of the album's title - the bursts of high energy hardcore act as the perfect accompaniment to Joseph setting his sights on injustice and the seemingly endless flaws of the contemporary world. The breakneck thrashing of "Slow Kill Genocide" is an anthem for everyone sickened by those responsible for "killing the planet and all it's inhabitants through industry and war. They're f***ing maniacs and must be stopped." The suitably titled "Manic" attacks with bared fangs, Joseph making it clear that you can only push someone so far before they will react with violence - a call to arms for the disenfranchised who want tomorrow's world to be better than today's. Tracked at NRG in Los Angeles, the raw, old-school production that leaps out from the speaker comes courtesy of producer Zeuss (Hatebreed, Revocation), and the record was mixed by Kyle McAulay at NRG. From the moment the opening title track explodes to life, it's clear that everyone involved is having a blast and playing from the heart, and that this is no frills / no bullshit music at it's most passionate - every song evoking mental images of utter chaos in a heaving mosh pit. For anyone approaching the album for the first time, Joseph has only this to say: "Turn the volume way the fuck up!" And with plans to tour everywhere, Bloodclot will be getting in a lot of faces in 2017 and beyond. "We are already writing material and the next album is in the works. But, for now, all we want is to hit the stage to support 'Up in Arms', and every single night leave every ounce of ourselves up there." (Radiation Records)
  • This is a jewel in the rough! Released back in 1983, this 7″ was one of the milestones of the Italian Punk/HC, let alone one of the best punk records to come out of Rome. The band self produced this 4 song 7″ that contains songs that became band´s trademark in the years to come. No Eroina, Bloody Riot, Naia De Merda and Contro Lo Stato. Tuneful but angry Punk/HC. A must have! Reissued by Anfibio records in 2018. (Anfibio Records)
  • BL’AST! | blood! | LP

    16.00 incl. tax
Earlier this year BL’AST! guitarist, Mike Neider contacted Southern Lord with news that he had found some mysterious old BL’AST! master tapes in a abandoned storage locker. Greg Anderson, fanatical about BL’AST!, wasted no time in sending the tapes to a studio to be baked. Needless to say, after 25 years gathering dust, the quality had deteriorated. Even when the tapes had been baked, nobody could have anticipated what would follow. With the tapes baked and audio digitised, Southern Lord contacted long time BL’AST! fiend, Dave Grohl about mixing this recording, his response was an enthusiastic “FUCK YEAH!, LETS DO THIS”! Whilst inside Grohl’s famous 606 Studios (and with the Neve console as featured in the recent Grohl produced documentary ’Sound City’) a remarkable discovery was made – a completely unheard, unreleased BL’AST! recording session from the mid–80s. The lineup of the band at the time of the recording included second guitarist William Duvall (from Neon Christ & interestingly now the vocalist for Alice In Chains) who had moved from his hometown of Atlanta out to Santa Cruz on a tip from mutual friends, Corrosion of Conformity to join the band. Unfortunately his tenure with BL’AST! was short–lived and no recordings from that lineup were ever released. From the thunderous bass intro of “Only Time Will Tell” to the apocalyptic warnings of “Its In My Blood” the album completely rips and rages from start to finish. All parties involved were completely amazed at how vibrant, unique and new the material sounded. All things considered, it is miraculous that this record survived it’s journey and that everyone who was involved in bringing this recording to life, could be. Everything fell into place, when it could have easily crumbled along the way. This record is a time capsule that is meant to be heard!

  • Bob Marley and The Wailers are the most legendary figures to emerge from Jamaican popular music, a trio of icons that brough reggae to the broader public consciousness and helped the Rastafari faith to spread outside of their native island. Robert Nesta Marley, Peter McIntosh and Neville O’Riley Livingston, AKA Bunny Wailer, are responsible for our understanding of reggae music itself, as well as the now-global movement of Rastafari consciousness and the general popular culture of Jamaica in a way unlike that of any of their peers. This retrospective on their 70's production, packed in a collectable double vinyl set, provide a tantalizing glimpse of the international stardom that would soon be achieved by the group, charting some particularly fertile and evolutionary phases of their formative years. Limited double LP on color vinyl, one green and one red vinyl, comes with extensive liner notes by David Katz, out for Record Store Day 2020. (Radiation Records)

Easily one of the greatest roots reggae albums of all time, 1970's 'Soul Rebels' resulted from the intensive partnership brokered by the group and maverick producer, Lee "Scratch" Perry. It was the first Wailers 'concept' album, conceived as a long-player based on a rebellious theme, rather than a collection of isolated singles, and the presence of the Barrett Brothers in the rhythm section pointed the way for greater glories to come. “Imagine that in the late 70s, Bob Marley crossed paths with the Ramones at the CBGB counter and they decided to make a record together. Here is the result: 10 rasta classics with punk rock sauce 1-2-3-4!” When I read this introduction to Bobby Ramone’s Rocket To Kingston and saw the album cover, I hoped it would be fun yet feared it would sound terrible. Two songs in, I just had to share this with you, because THIS IS FREAKIN’ FUN and well executed. I’d never expect that I could enjoy songs like Get Up Stand Up, Stir it Up, and One Love this much. Even the song titles get the Ramones treatment, as they are now called I Don’t Wanna Stand Up, Stirring In My Room, and Today One Love, Tomorrow The World. What’s not to like?". This long awaited edition includes 2 bonus tracks! Import from Argentina. (Pinhead Records)

  • Q: Do you really want to read an umpteenth generic blurb about yet another random d-beat punk band? A: No you don't. So let's hear it from the, er, fans?: "I don't have a clue what d-beat is, but those guys seem alright?" – Charles, local bartender "Fucking thieves stealing riffs and getting away with it." – Asocial "…wait, they stole riffs too?" – Bambi, Stoke-on-Trent, UK "OK boomers" – Emma, 16 As the sky is once again studded with bombs the history repeats itself endlessly. “A giant game of chess they play with you and I as the disposable pieces” isn’t it ? There will always be atrocities to document and to denounce. This record fits perfectly to the current context. The lyrics have never been so meaningful in the sense that they depict a world where the dark side of the human race has the upper hand, where scorn and hatred know no end. Do we need to tell you that this new offering from BOMBARDEMENT is their best record ever and that you will never get enough of this raging punk deluge ? Yes, the guitars are like sharp incisors starving for revenge. Yes, the vocals resonate like bomb alerts. The future is here and it’s no fairy tale. (Destructure Records)
