The 28 tracks have been newly remastered and rearranged, the live recordings from the original LP have been taken down and replaced with the '93 demo, and more songs that didn't make it onto the original LP have been added here. Musically, “Black Clouds Determinate” sounds like a mix of raw old school grind/noisepunk and filthy raw fast death metal. , it's the recording where AGATHOCLES used the most pitch shifted voice on it! This LP contains all their early hits (their early hits are all-time hits!) with this special “rehearsal” sounding really not “clean” at all and great! The good old times of real grindcore! The second part has alot of live tracks, and contrary to “Razor sharp dagger” & “Black clouds determinate” live bonus tracks, this live material is not boring, without a big cheezy sound, just what grind needz: detuned guitars, blasting drums and simply grunt-roared or screamed vocals: what do you want more? Judge by the track listing, there are only great tracks! “Fog”, “The accident” or “Big one”: cult! cult! cult! Scum is the debut studio album by English grindcore band Napalm Death, released on 1 July 1987 by Earache Records. The two sides of Scum were recorded by two different lineups in sessions separated by about a year; the only musician in both incarnations was drummer Mick Harris. Scum sold over 10,000 copies in its first year of release, reaching number four on the UK Indie chart. Since then, it has become known as a formative release in the grindcore genre. In 2005, Scum was voted the 50th best British album of all time by Kerrang! readers, and in 2009, it was ranked number five in Terrorizer's list of essential European grindcore albums; it is also listed in Robert Dimery's book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.
