Originally released a mere eight months after their groundbreaking 1978 self-titled debut LP (RAD 8002LP), The Kids' second album is a pure masterpiece of straightforward punk rock. A little less raw than their previous material, but still far from the new wave sounds the band started experimenting with on their following records, Naughty Kids remains one of the best examples of non-UK '70s punk and definitely a mandatory addition to the collection of any Killed by Death fanatic! This reissue also includes five bonus tracks recorded live in 1978. (Radiation Records) https://thekids.bandcamp.com/album/the-kids
  • Reissue of material originally released as a double 7" by this legendary band from Belgium - this time on a 12"! Nations On Fire is one of the most important bands in the history of the European straight edge / hardcore scene. Their releases have been hard to find for years and this 12" reissue is the first of several releases we have a planned for Refuse Records. N.O.F. started in the early 90's in Kortrijk by some members of RISE ABOVE and the singer of SCRAPS from France. Their fast and aggressive hardcore mixed with a good dose of catchiness and a direct, political message had so much power that it still impresses today. Their lyrics about topics, such as racism, environmental damage, vegetarianism/veganism or politics are as relevant today as it was almost 25 years ago - if not even more. Their slogan POSITIVE, POLITICAL and POWERFUL perfectly describes their music and their message. If you're interested in European HC history, this release is a must. (Refuse Records)
  • Refuse Records is proud to reissue one of the most important records of the European HC scene in the 90's. Originally released in 1991 by Strive Records (sublabel of X-Mist Records), Nations on Fire “Strike the Match” LP became one of the best and most inspiring albums of the decade. This great-sounding material was recorded at Metropool Studios in Holland and at Westwood Studios and Recorders in California. On this LP, Nations on Fire managed to capture the best elements of current hardcore from the USA, along with the aggression, energy and political awareness of European bands of the 80s. All of this was combined with deeply passionate lyrics and liner notes. These writings became manifestos of the political scene and of Straight Edge hardcore during this period. Their lyrics covered a wide array of topics: radically targeting racism and nationalism ( "Put down that flag!"; "Striving for a master race - my fist in your face"); organized religion ( "No god - no prophet - no profits - no leader - no masters - no book of lies"); corporate interest in the creation of the European Union ("Europe 1992 is a joke"); exploitation and abuse of animals, while promoting social activity ("You can get involved, there's a lot of social problems that you can solve"); straight edge as a personal choice ("It's my lifestyle, it remains my choice"); inclusiveness in the hardcore scene ("Join the Brotherhood! Join the Sisterhood!"); and commitment ("Dedication”). These lyrics were both confrontational and encouraging, inspiring in listeners the need to get involved and to make changes. And while 2016 marks a full twenty-five years since the release of this album, its message is still valid, especially as we take into account the current political situation both in Europe and the world. There are many reasons that this album should still be readily available! This reissue on Refuse Records will come with a gatefold and includes both an additional booklet with an English translation of an interview from the German zine ‘Confrontation’, which was conducted during the NATIONS ON FIRE / BORN AGAINST tour promoting the "Strike the Match" LP, as well as photos and flyers from this period. The material has been re-mastered by Smok (Studio As One). (Refuse Records)
  • It’s here and it’s a beautiful new release from Belgian Waffles Records, following the Stagebeast 7″ out a few month ago, we continue the “north coast” punk history with a 12″ from Revenge 88. In fact this is the band which followed Stagebeast, nearly same line-up, fronted by Frank Dubbe, who’s still singing in a more rock’n’roll version of Revenge 88 today. On this 12″ you’ll find the “A” and “B” sides of both ( and only ) 7’s from the band, both out on J.D.M. in ’81 and ’82, two collectors 7’s today, try to find one! In addition to those 4 songs we added an unreleased cut found on the master. In fact , we were hopefully surprised to find the original master when we were searching for band photos and archives, which is more than rare in belgian punk investigations, so aside the punk/wave hit “Neonlight” , “Alone” , “Thousand years from you” and “Unwanted son” you can hear for the first time in 35 years the song “Babylon” from the same session than “Neonlight” , just another killer recording, no more !! The record is filled with a double sided color insert with cool photos and other memorabilia, a text by Stephaan Delarue, a close band fan and friend from the early hour. Now it’s just time to get a copy and play it loud and louder on 45 rpm, cheers !!! (Belgian Waffles Records)
  • Fantastic debut album by Raxola, a Belgian punk band which formed 1977 by Yves Kengen, who previously played in Bastard with Brian James. They are, with The Kids and Hubble Bubble, one of the three Belgian bands to have had the opportunity to record an album from the beginning of the punk era. They split up in 1979 after their record company fired them for becoming too progressive. This is reissue of this Belgian punk classic, originally released in 1978 on the Philips label. Following the success of THE KIDS' first LP, Philips was on the lookout for new punk talent. What they found was RAXOLA, and they took Belgium by storm with an amazing sound. Comes on pink vinyl. (Veals & Geeks Records)
  • Belgian punk/oi band from Antwerp/Berchem. Tracks A1-A6 Demo 1989 Tracks A7-A9 Live in Antwerp 03.07.1988 Tracks B1-B8 Live in Duisburg 08.12.1990 Limited edition of 250 copies with bandstory and lyrics on innersleeve. (Mad Butcher Records)

LP number four in this series of eight albums with complete sessions which were made for various 7”EP’s, recorded and released between 1990 and 2003. On this one, you will hear recordings which were made in 1996, recorded and mixed at the SOUNDSHAPE-studios in Arendonk, Belgium. The songs were used for records such as the AGATHOCLES/VOMIT FALL (Italy) split 10”, AGATHOCLES/AUTORITAR (Germany) split 7”EP, AGATHOCLES/PRAPARATION H (USA) split 7”EP and AGATHOCLES/UNHOLY GRAVE (Japan) split 7”EP. Some interesting fact is that during the recording session of this 12”LP, Agathocles took some big kettle drums into the studio. They used these kettle drums on the song “Their excuse”.

  • Solid black vinyl (180 GRAMS) limited to 200 copies. Violent Death/Thrashing onslaught from the darkest alleys of the ’80s Belgian Underground..  TYFOON‘s two and only Demotapes “The end” (1987) and “The edge of violence” (1992) for the first time on vinyl, remastered from the band’s sources.   Caustic and aggressive death-tinged Thrash Metal that recalls the mid ’80s Teutonic school of titans like Kreator and Sodom!!  If we were to rank our favorite Belgian demos of that era, “The end” is undoubtedly in the top five with its nonstop fast, raw and desecrating delivery. And to complete the FOAD quality-treatment this LP comes with a massive full colored booklet filled with rare photos, flyers, memorabilia and biographical notes. (F.O.A.D. Records)
  • Solid black vinyl (180 GRAMS) limited to 200 copies. A killing collection of rare X-Creta recordings (demos, rehearsals and live) prior to their smashing debut full length “Patronizing the Heterodox”. Formed in 1983, these Belgian Thrashcore gunners were responsible for some of the fiercest, stripped down, and energetic type of Crossover/Thrash, not far removed from the early releases by Voivod, but faster. At the top of their riff driven assault, some of the sickest vitriolic vocals around at the time, think of the sickest clash between Kreator’s Mille Petrozza and Sid Migx of CCM. This FOAD anthology traces the early steps of the band starting from the primordial, pure Hardcore approach on their demo 1984 “13 recepten voor en hersenbloeding” and song from “Alle 55 kort” – both sounding quite close to their legendary country fellows Zyklome-A – and moving to the solid Speed/Thrashcore assault that followed with their demo 1985, “We will thrash you!!”. All the stuff included has been sourced from extremely rare tapes provided by our inner circle of friends-collectors and scrupulously remastered to keep the original rawness and intensity. Bonus CD with live rehearsals, insert with photos, flyers and original tapes’ art. Contents: – “13 recepten voor en hersenbloeding” Demo 1984 – Song from “Alle 55 kort” compilation Tape 1984 – “We will Thrash you!!” Demo 1985 – Live and rehearsals 1985-1986 (F.O.A.D. Records)
