• Formed in 1981 in Boston, MA Jerry's Kids started out with SS Decontrol, Gang Green, FUs, Freeze and Negative FX when the Boston Hardcore scene became the spotlight of American music. In 1982 a sampler of Boston bands was issued called This is Boston, Not LA. The three bands that dominated this sampler were Gang Green, The Freeze and Jerry's Kids all with more than five songs a piece. Jerry's Kids music was heard worldwide and shortly after a follow up-comp was issued with the band's song, "Unsafe at Any Speed." 1983 saw the release of Is This My World?, Jerry's Kids debut on X-Claim Records. From the buzz of This is Boston, Not LA, Jerry's Kids LP sold 3,000 records with no promotion. Then with X-Claim out of the picture, the record went out of print. At this point, Taang! released the record on its German label, Funhouse. One of the best and most important bands in hc/punk history. • Part of the late '70s/early '80s HC/punk explosion out of the Los Angeles area, where bands like Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Minutemen, and Bad Religion originated from, Anti formed in 1979 by a then teenage Danny Phillips, better known as Danny Dean, who was the bassist/guitarist and first original vocalist, primary songwriter, and sole continuous member throughout multiple lineup changes during the past 40 years. Their 1982 debut album, 'I Don't Want To Die In Your War', was recorded and mixed by legendary producer and sound engineer for Black Flag and Descendents, Spot. It is a major example of California hardcore from the early '80s. Despite having been completely underrated, Anti's 1982 debut paved the way for a lot of California punk to come. Available again for the first time after almost four decades on its original format, with its original artwork and complete with insert thanks to Radiation Records. Label: Radiation Records

  • Shortly after Keith Morris quit the role of being the front man of BLACK FLAG, he teamed up with guitarist Greg (who later joined BAD RELIGION) to form what now is known as one of "the" most classic early '80s Southern California punk bands. "group sex" is the '80 14 track debut highly recommended for any fan of humorous, ground breaking punk-rock music. This is arguably Los Angeles punk at its best! (Frontier Records)
  • Pioneers of the early D-beat scene, Crude S.S., need little introduction to the extreme punk record-buying audience. Formed in Fagersta, Sweden in 1982, C.S.S. helped define the whole crust-core subgenre, along with their pals Anti-Cimex and Mob 47. • Finally a European version of the long overdue LOS CRUDOS Discography collection. LOS CRUDOS, formed in Chicago's Pilsen neighbourhood in the early 90's, are a Latino punk band with a strong socio-political message and an extremely militant DIY attitude. During their first incarnation, spanning the years 1991 to 1998 the band self-released their own records, printed their own merch, booked their own shows and toured relentlessly around the world. From South America to Japan including a 3 month European tour in the winter of 1996. They spoke to the freaks the outsiders and the minorities and were not afraid of confronting the white middle class punk who reigned supreme during the terrible 90's. A time which will not be remembered for their hardcore output except for a few exceptions, in which CRUDOS are surely included. Their sound, far from being a copycat of whatever flavour of the month was reigning at the time was heavy rooted in the golden years of European and Latino American ferocious hardcore punk. With bands as IMPACT, WRETCHED, OLHO SECO, TERVEET KADET or MASACRE 68 as obvious influences in a time when the simple mention of any of those bands (or any non English speaking bands really) was usually met with a laugh or a joke. They sang in Spanish, with aggression and conviction and that made their message spread out widely, reaching thousands of Spanish speaking punks both in Latino America and Spain as well as inside USA where third generation Latino kids surely were missing a voice within the punk scene. The band split up in 1998 after a really intense year of touring and reformed in 2008. The band will be undertaking their first ever Scandinavian tour in July/ Agust 2016. This collection, originally released as a benefit for MRR magazine last year, includes all the LOS CRUDOS output plus compilation tracks as well as a couple demo tracks and an unreleased song. The European version comes in a gatefold sleeve and brings a 40 page booklet with flyers and the lyrics of all songs. Label: La Vida Es Un Mus Records

  • Here Minor Threat get one of their most defiant and raucous live performances re-released on a proper LP, after only four tracks from the show were originally released on 'bootleg' wax, by the band themselves. Here Suicidal Records give all 16 bits from the half-hour show at NYC's Irving Plaza a new run for their money - of course, we'd expect such a curt punk band could fit that many songs into such a short space of time. Raw, airy, and to the point, classics 'Straight Edge' and 'Bottled Violence' make an appearance, but barely get a couple of minutes to their name each. The live versions of 'Little Friend' and 'Stepping Stone' are more developed, but sound yet no less hard hitting. From DC to NY, the OG punk abstainers' brand of detox punk shines best here. Essential Italian hardcore delivered with unmatched energy and originality! Solid black vinyl limited to 350 copies. Label: F.O.A.D.
  • Another dream-come-true on F.O.A.D.! Indigesti, the roots of Italian hardcore, one of the most iconic and original bands out of Italy’s furious punk scene of the ’80s. This double LP anthology is the ultimate, most comprehensive collection of the band’s early recordings compiling their “Sguardo realtà” demo sessions (1982-83), split 7″ with Wretched (1982), studio outtakes + a full bonus LP of mostly never-before-heard recordings (1982-1983) some even featuring members of Wretched and Crash Box. One session ends with Daniele (before joining Wretched) jamming some new riffs that would later end on “Libero di vivere, libero di morire” even if they were originally written for Indigesti.. All restored and mastered straight from 1/4″ reels and archival tapes of the band that have never seen the light of day until now.. 63 SONGS of rapid, powerful HARDCORE! Gatefold jacket with 2 thick booklets (40 PAGES IN TOTAL!) filled to the brim with photos, fanzine articles, flyers, scans of the original tapes and an extensive interviews to two band members in both Italian and English… Label: F.O.A.D.
  • Deluxe reissue of this mandatory hardcore masterpiece, finally back on vinyl after almost 20 years! Undoubtedly one of the top 5 greatest albums in the history of 80’s Italian HC, right there with titans like Raw Power, Negazione, Wretched, CCM and Impact. Highly original song structures where energy, speed and melody embrace each other in an outstanding visionary vibe. Quoting MRR: “Non-stop intensity comes from this longtime Italian outfit. The powerful music is complex and at times awkward due to the band’s capacity in integrating leads and riffs that create some great, hard-hitting melodies. BAD BRAINS-type vocals add to this tight, original, impassioned release. This puppy shreds”. Transferred from the original 1/4″ master reels and specially remastered for vinyl, sounding better than ever with louder vocals and enhanced features lacking in the previous versions. Housed in a luxurious gatefold sleeve with scratch resistant matte lamination, including 11″x11″ booklet with photos, lyrics in italian/english and paintings of the time drawn by singer Rudy Medea, very much in keeping with the hermeticism of his lyrics, and A2 poster reminescent of TVOR’s promotional poster from the 80s. A top notch classic that can’t be missing in your collection if you love Italian hardcore in its best shape. Diehard splatter blue/clear blue/green vinyl limited to 200 copies. Label: F.O.A.D.

Recorded at inner ear studios, arlington, virginia between april 1981 and december 1983. the washington, d.c. straightedge hardcore punk scene began with minor threat. the band recorded two lps on its own dischord label, plus an ep and the miscellaneous singles that are collected on this cd. many of the early recordings on this collection seethe with teen-age angst and indignation. the songs rage against bullies, religious hypocrisy, and the herd mentality. other songs, taken from later in minor threat's career, feature tighter and more sophisticated playing. metallic flourishes tinge the guitar work, vocal harmonies abound, and song dynamics vary more than on the earlier record. on certain songs, ian mackaye's lyrics address the complexities of friendship, loyalty, and self-expression. 'look back and laugh,' 'little friend,' and 'it follows' all incline more toward introspection and ambiguity; conveying loss and sadness in addition to outrage. this second set of songs seems to especially anticipate mackaye's later work with fugazi. the album also contains a few playful numbers like the sing-along cover of 'stepping stone,' and 'cashing in,' a mocking dig at greedy musicians. minor threat believed completely in the power of its music, helping earn a loyal fan following and the respect of numerous other bands who emulated its style and credo. • 'Stations Of The Crass' is the second album by Crass, released in 1979. The record, originally released as a double 12", includes live tracks from a gig recorded at the Pied Bull pub in Islington, London, on August 7, 1979. The first three sides contain the studio tracks and play at 45 rpm, while the final side comprises the live material and plays at 33 rpm. The album's title is not only a pun on the Catholic rite of the 'Stations Of The Cross' (such jibes against the religious establishment were typical of Crass), but is also a reference to the graffiti campaign that the band had been conducting around London's underground railway system, the cover artwork depicting a wall at Bond Street tube station that had allegedly been 'decorated' by them. Although the album met mixed critical reception at first, it managed to sell at least 20,000 copies within two weeks. The re-pressing retains the original folding out poster sleeve design. Dehumanization is the only full length album from the band Crucifix. Recorded in 1983, it is considered a classic American hardcore album and a landmark of anarcho-punk. Dehumanization delivers a raging critique of war, violence, displacement, and the decimation of human rights and human dignity—themes at once global in scope and also completely endemic to Reagan-era America. The intensity of this message is matched only by the intensity of the sound: a heavy minimalist construction built on brutal guitar riffs, low-end distortion, hardcore fury and teenage speed. It is an album of pure raw power, a hot blast of personal and political outrage and musical adrenaline. Fusing California hardcore with metal and second wave British anarcho-punk, Crucifix carved out their own highly distinctive wall of sound on this release. Ignoring the rules of punk purism in favor of a well produced huge guitar sound, the album preceded much of the hardcore metal crossover of the mid-80s and played an influential but often unacknowledged role in the punk and metal subgenres that followed. “Annihilation,” the album’s opening track, has become iconic. Quoted often, it’s been sampled by Orbital and covered by A Perfect Circle and Sepultura. The original vinyl version of Dehumanization was released on the Crass Records offshoot label Corpus Christi in the UK, and has been out of print since the 1980s. This new Kustomized rerelease has been carefully remastered from an original vinyl source and adheres closely to the audio quality of the original. In addition, the six-panel foldout poster sleeve has been reproduced in its entirety. Taken together, the words, music and graphics of Dehumanization form a complete work and a resonant and enduring document of the period. (Kustomized Records)

Rock for Light is the second full-length album by Bad Brains, released in 1983. It was produced by Ric Ocasek of The Cars. We’re proud to present the original mix of the album, for the first time in decades, as the band originally intended. Most fans will be more familiar with the 1991 reissue, which was remixed by Ocasek and bass player Darryl Jenifer. In addition to new mixes, that version used an altered track order. This reissue marks the fourth release in the remaster campaign, re-launching the Bad Brains Records label imprint. In coordination with the band, Org Music has overseen the restoration and remastering of the iconic Bad Brains’ recordings. The audio was mastered by Dave Gardner at Infrasonic Mastering and pressed at Furnace Record Pressing. This is the classic album from 1982. Virtually everyone agrees that this group made up of 4 DC African American. They radically quickened punk's tempos, added virtuoso instrumentation, and topped it all off with the mystic squeals of frontman Paul "H.R." Hudson. This release gives voice to the band's scathing sociopolitical judgment as well as its ability to simply put the hammer down and rock. It also allows the rhythm section of Darryl Jenifer and Earl Hudson to flex their muscle on a smattering of dub-reggae interludes that help lull the unsuspecting into the right frame of mind for the next hardcore punch.
