  • Released in 1983 on London's Legendary Mortarhate label, Conflict's debut broke all rules in punk rock, setting new standards and storming independent charts, reaching and retaining position number 1 for several weeks. Formed in 1981 and led by vocalist Colin Jerwood, who would remain one of the group's few constants throughout its 30 years of existence, and fueled by hatred for the media, the military and the general status quo of late century Thatcher's England, Conflict has been a stainless model for three generation of peace punkers, activists and anarchists from all over the world. Born from working class roots in Edinburgh, Scotland, The Exploited emerged from the punk underground in 1981 with the debut-LP 'Punk's Not Dead', a direct response to the Crass-song 'Punk Is Dead'. The Exploited brought to the early '80s all the fire, speed and attitude of 1977's first wave, but with a street punk/Oi! swagger that was fresh and exciting. Peaking at #20 on the UK charts, 'Punk's Not Dead' was the best selling independent record of 1981. Essential punk history! Sorry State is excited to bring you a repress of one of the best hardcore records ever, Koro's 1983 7" EP. Originally released in a small, self-released pressing, over the decades this monster's reputation has continued to grow, and collectors now have to fork over well over a grand for an original pressing. This one is too good for the scum to keep to themselves, though, a hyper-compact explosion of energy that can hold its own next to any landmark early 80s hardcore punk record you want to compare it to. A hardcore masterpiece and a 10 Top American slab of 7" perfection. Right up there with Fix's Vengeance, Pick Your King, Negative Approach's debut, Nervous Breakdown. An absolute all-time scorcher. Sorry State's 2023 pressing aims to replicate the original look and feel of the original as closely as possible, with an offset-printed sleeve on legal size paper. It's as close as you can get to the original without missing a mortgage payment. Label: Sorry State

Finally Re-issued after 20 years! - Originally pressed in 1996 PROFANE EXISTENCE is bringing this quintessential anarcho-punk masterpiece back in circulation. In 1996 AUS-ROTTEN released their first LP “The System Works For Them” on an unsuspecting punk scene. It spread like wildfire in a pre internet era within a genre that mostly depended on tape trading. (at least is was pre internet for us penniless punks) “The System Works For Them” was the perfect mix of anger and intelligence that the scene needed at the time (and still does today). It was like a wake up call that opened the eyes and ears to many punks the world over. The messages where crystal clear and most us were hooked as soon as the beginning shouts of “Boycott” bellowed over the speakers. I don’t believe any of us ever expected their message to resonate so well within the scene, but even more surprising is how the songs are just as relevant today as on they the day they were written. Which is why PROFANE EXISTENCE has decided to repress this record. We feel that that messages that AUS-ROTTEN brought to the table are to powerful to ignore. We feel that this LP is important and therefore should be highly available and priced affordably. We feel that those that would charge over exorbitant prices on eBay or Discogs have forgotten the message. PROFANE EXISTENCE has worked this out to ever last detail of this release with the members of AUS-ROTTEN whom have been involved from step one. All tracks have been re-masted by Jay Matherson at the Jamroom studios. To be 100% honest we didn’t want to do a complete re-master of what we already considered a good recording. However when we opened the tracks on protools we noticed a few balance issues that required fixing. These fixes resulted in a tremendous upgrade to the overall quality of the tracks. We painstakingly scanned, puzzled, and photoshopped the original artwork to make sure that it was as close to authentic as it could possible be. We then went for broke by pressing in three different vinyl color combinations! Overall to say that we are pumped to release this would be an understatement, we are absolutely ecstatic to bring you this LP on PROFANE EXISTENCE! Label: Profane Existence Records

  • The third album from legendary Canadian punk rock pioneers - D.O.A. from 1982. The fancy edition for the 40th birthday will be published by Pasażer Records in late May 2023. "War on 45" was the successor to the albums "Something Better Change" and "Hardcore '81", which are considered to be absolute classics of punk rock today. It was recorded in mid-1982 during several late-night sessions in Los Angeles (at night the price of the studio was half the price). In politics, it was a time of intensification of the Cold War and the arms race, and a lot of local, more or less bloody conflicts - hence the overtones of the title and most of the songs contained on it. You can hear the war there. On the other hand, the title "War on 45" is a parody of the then-popular lame compilations with hits like "Stars on 45". On the occasion of War on 45, a new line-up of the band crystallized. Joey Shithead and Dave Gregg were joined by Wimpy Roy from the Canadian band The Subhumans, who had just ceased to exist, and the drummer was Dimwit - the older brother of Chuck Biscuits, who in turn had just left the band. 8 tracks known from the original release were enriched with 7 bonuses, mainly from the demo recorded a few months earlier, when the drummer was still the aforementioned Biscuits (also known from many other legendary bands - Black Flag, Danzig, Social Distortion etc.). Thus, on one LP you have two best Canadian drummers of all time: the Montgomery brothers - Biscuits and Dimwit. The album includes two covers from both its US and European releases, and a 12-page booklet with unique archival photos, posters, and a story of the making of the album written by the Canadian godfather of punk rock, frontman D.O.A. - Joey Shithead, where many delicious anecdotes are told. This album blows your mind as hard as D.O.A. always could and sums up one of the best periods in the history of these world-famous punk pioneers. The new edition of "War on 45" will not be played at a fast 45 rpm, but at a regular 33 rpm. Tracklist A1 Liar for Hire A2 I'm Right, You're Wrong A3 America the Beautiful A4 Let's Fuck A5 War A6 I Hate You A7 War in the East A8 Class War B1 Rent-A-Riot (1982 demo) B2 Liar for Hire (1982 demo) B3 Race Riot (1982 demo) B4 America the Beautiful (1982 demo) B5 No Way Out (1982 demo) B6 No God, No War (1981 demo) B7 I Hate You (1982 demo) Label: Pasazer Records

  • In January 1983, Minor Threat went into Inner Ear Studio for the first time as a five-piece (Brian Baker had moved from bass to second guitar and Steve Hansgen was now playing bass). They had six new songs that would end up being the center piece of what became the Out of Step 12" EP. The band had also decided to re-record the song "Out of Step" with some extra language to try to clarify the lyrics, as well as "Cashing In", a tongue-in-cheek song about the DC punk scene which they had only played live once. After much debate, "Cashing In" was added as a hidden track on the original vinyl release though not listed on the cover or label. There was still blank tape on the reel, so they decided to record an instrumental with the working title, "Addams Family" and then recorded new versions of "In My Eyes" and "Filler" to hear what they sounded like with two guitars. "Addams Family" ended up being used as a coda to "Cashing In", but the other two songs were never mixed and largely forgotten for over 35 years until the multitrack tapes were taken into the studio to be digitized in 2021. Surprised by the discovery, Ian and Don Zientara mixed the two songs along with the complete take of "Addams Family". These outtakes are now being released on a 7" to mark the 40th anniversary of the release of Out of Step. Label: Dischord Records Barcode: 643859195079

Crust punk originates from the misty moors and factory cities of the UK. Since the '80s, countless bands have been established to play their dirty apocalyptic ruckus in the vein of Amebix, Antisect, and Axegrinder. At the same time, across the ocean, in the squats of New York’s Lower East Side, bassist John John Jesse founded Nausea. Svart Records is releasing Nausea’s two legendary EPs in 12” format for the first time ever, including the Cybergod 7” from 1991 - with a bonus track, "Here Today," from the same recording sessions - and the Lie Cycle 7” from 1992. All tracks are remastered from the original, untouched studio tapes by Jack Control (Darkthrone, Kohti Tuhoa, Fear). Tribal and rocking apocalyptic crust for apocalyptic times. The Cybergod lineup might be the most legendary era of Nausea, where the tracks reach almost epic proportions. The EP is pretty much the blueprint of crust, where Vic Venom’s hypnotic and rocking guitar riffs meet the tribal drumming of Roy Mayorga. Al’s and Amy’s dueling vocals spit out timeless issues dealing with consumerism and the hypocrisies of organized religions. Musically, the Lie Cycle EP rocks out more in the faster and straightforward style, where Discharge meets Motörhead, and lyrics reflect the times when war and nuclear destruction are still the plague of mankind. Nausea’s timeline lasted only seven years, but they managed to create a cult following with their true dedication to the punk scene and played shows in the squats of Europe and the eastern part of Europe. Their music is timeless, unpleasant music for unpleasant times, but hey! At least it’s more fun to rock out to the apocalypse! Transparent red vinyl, insert. Limited to 400 copies. Monolith was the second full-length album by West County punk-metal ’80s anti-heroes, Amebix. One of the best crossover records the UK ever produced. Originally released in 1987, with second rate Giger-style sleeve-art, on a dodgy heavy metal label (called Dodgy Heavy Metal Records). The Power Remains was a posthumous collection of live and demo recordings, that was originally released in 1993 (and done in a much more appropriate and enthusiastic fashion) by MCR and Skuld Records. This band-released reissue combines both LPs, with lavish new gatefold sleeve artwork (competently created by Andy Lefton of War//Plague and Tau Cross). And these copies are “special record store day 2016 limited editions. Tracks A1 to B4 were originally released as the Monolith LP. Tracks C1 to D2 and D4 were originally released on The Power Remains LP. Track D3 is previously unreleased. Tracks A1 to B4 were recorded and mixed at Sam Studios Bristol in May / June 1987. Tracks C1 C2, and C3 are demo recordings. Recorded at Cabs Studios late 1987 in 10 hours. Track C1 is a demo recording. Recorded at O.O.C. Studios, Holland 1985. • Formed in 1981 in Boston, MA Jerry's Kids started out with SS Decontrol, Gang Green, FUs, Freeze and Negative FX when the Boston Hardcore scene became the spotlight of American music. In 1982 a sampler of Boston bands was issued called This is Boston, Not LA. The three bands that dominated this sampler were Gang Green, The Freeze and Jerry's Kids all with more than five songs a piece. Jerry's Kids music was heard worldwide and shortly after a follow up-comp was issued with the band's song, "Unsafe at Any Speed." 1983 saw the release of Is This My World?, Jerry's Kids debut on X-Claim Records. • Crust punk originates from the misty moors and factory cities of the UK. Transparent green vinyl, insert. Limited to 500 copies. Just when thought everything was right in the world, Doom drops by to piss on your Doom is an English crust punk band from Birmingham, England, formed in 1987. Despite its short existence at the time, the band is considered pivotal in the rise of crust punk movement. They recorded for Peaceville Records & are cited as an early precursor to the grindcore style of metal music & are often compared with seminal act Discharge. Doom was also a favorite of BBC Radio DJ John Peel. In its formative years, Peaceville had heard about Doom through word of mouth & asked if they were interested in contributing songs to the first compilation, ’A Vile Peace’. On the strength of this first recording Peaceville asked Doom if they would record a full LP for them & in February 1988, Doom went into the "Rich Bitch" studios & recorded 21 songs for the album, ’War Crimes’; a timeless & legendary release still highly revered today as a prime example of the pinnacle of the crust punk genre. "Sistemados pelo crucifa" was originally recorded in 1999, mixed by Billy Anderson and released in 2001 by Alternative Tentacles and Peculio Discos. Absolutely punishing, no frills hardcore thrash from these indestructible Brazilian punk pioneers smashing eardrums since 43 years... All their early anthems revisited at neck-breaking speed + 1 exclusive bonus track!!! LP with pantone bronze laminated cover and fold-out insert with lyrics, liner notes and photos. Quoting the introduction done back in the day by Alternative Tentacles: "this new version of Crucificados Pelo Sistema captures the rare chemistry of the current members performing the band’s classic songs. This time around, the album benefits from the technical wizardry of engineer Billy Anderson (LOGICAL NONSENSE, MELVINS, NEUROSIS), who mixed their first AT release, Carniceria Tropical (1998). RDP’s Portuguese lyrics focus on day to day life in Brazil, spotlighting political and social issues. They present a positive outlook and speak of creating a better future, while tempering their optimism with a strong hint of dark humor. Sistemados Pelo Crucifa is testimony to RDP’s enduring reign as HC champions!" Solid black vinyl limited to 350 copies. Label: F.O.A.D. Records

Finally a European version of the long overdue LOS CRUDOS Discography collection. LOS CRUDOS, formed in Chicago's Pilsen neighbourhood in the early 90's, are a Latino punk band with a strong socio-political message and an extremely militant DIY attitude. During their first incarnation, spanning the years 1991 to 1998 the band self-released their own records, printed their own merch, booked their own shows and toured relentlessly around the world. From South America to Japan including a 3 month European tour in the winter of 1996. They spoke to the freaks the outsiders and the minorities and were not afraid of confronting the white middle class punk who reigned supreme during the terrible 90's. A time which will not be remembered for their hardcore output except for a few exceptions, in which CRUDOS are surely included. Their sound, far from being a copycat of whatever flavour of the month was reigning at the time was heavy rooted in the golden years of European and Latino American ferocious hardcore punk. With bands as IMPACT, WRETCHED, OLHO SECO, TERVEET KADET or MASACRE 68 as obvious influences in a time when the simple mention of any of those bands (or any non English speaking bands really) was usually met with a laugh or a joke. They sang in Spanish, with aggression and conviction and that made their message spread out widely, reaching thousands of Spanish speaking punks both in Latino America and Spain as well as inside USA where third generation Latino kids surely were missing a voice within the punk scene. The band split up in 1998 after a really intense year of touring and reformed in 2008. The band will be undertaking their first ever Scandinavian tour in July/ Agust 2016. This collection, originally released as a benefit for MRR magazine last year, includes all the LOS CRUDOS output plus compilation tracks as well as a couple demo tracks and an unreleased song. The European version comes in a gatefold sleeve and brings a 40 page booklet with flyers and the lyrics of all songs. Label: La Vida Es Un Mus Records

If phonophobia can be defined as an overall fear of sound - what better band can you think of than crustcore titans Extreme Noise Terror to deliver such a fear as though kicking us down a shoot that leads to a lifetime sentence in Room 101. The album contains the band at their best, which sounds and feels like the worst thing you’ve ever encountered on earth: bolt-sputtering vocals on Pray To Be Saved and Self-Decay. Grim guitars groan as they gut the intestines from one’s malnourished belly for a final meal on Knee Deep in Shit and Moral Bondage. Rhythms that emerge from nowhere like fleets of demonic hailstone with drywall nails in place of the hail on Third World Genocide. Only a classic band like Extreme Noise Terror can have so much influence, yet by comparison of that influence, such little musical output can sound like being cracked apart and smashed together in equally, exhilaratingly evil measures. 'The Feeding Of The 5000' is the first album by the anarcho-punk band Crass. The album was recorded on 29 October 1978, by John Loder at Southern Studios and was released the same year. It was considered revolutionary in its time due to what was considered an extreme sound, frequently profane lyrical content and the anarchist political ideals in the lyrics. The album is considered one of the first punk albums to expound serious anarchist philosophies. Crass helped reinitiate the influence of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament and the wider peace campaign in the UK with the songs like 'They've Got A Bomb', 'Fight War Not Wars' and the adoption of the CND symbol at their live concerts. 'They've Got A Bomb' also has a period of silence within it, inspired by John Cage's '4'33'. The band have acknowledged the influence of Cage, and said that the idea of the space in the song, when performed live, was to suddenly stop the energy, dancing and noise and allow the audience to momentarily "confront themselves" and consider the reality of nuclear war. One of the most important albums ever. It doesn't get better, angrier and original. First released in 1978 on Small Wonder Records, and later re-released on the band's own Crass Records, The Feeding of the Five Thousand showed Crass as an anti-establishment and highly uncompromising act, and one that would influence countless people, bands and activists. The record came to be made when Pete Stennett, owner of Small Wonder Records, heard a demo that the band had recorded. Impressed by all of the material, he decided that rather than release a conventional single by the band, he would put all of their set onto an 18 track 12 inch EP. (Crass Records)

Spermbirds was a German punk band from Kaiserslautern. Finally this project is finished! For all of you who aren't familiar with this Norwegian band, they existed from '84 to '87, were the following band of "Svart Framtid", featuring Gunnar on vocals who later after Kafka Prosess' decline, formed with other friends "So Much Hate" & were in my opinion one of the best HC bands that ever came from Norway or even Europe!! On here you find all the stuff that Kafka Prosess have recorded in their 3 years of existence incl. an previous unreleased 7" session. Label: Skuld Records
  • Deep Wound was the first band from J Mascis and Lou Barlow (later Dinosaur Jr.) in the early 80s. But if you now expect guitar rock and grunge, you are completely wrong, because the band played incredibly fast, complex hardcore for the time, which easily reached the level of the other Boston bands (Jerry's Kids, Negative FX, SSD, ...). The only 7'' with 9 tracks has been booted several times and is rightly considered an absolute classic. In addition to the tracks of the above 7'' there are also the two songs from compilation  "Bands That Could Be God" and the 13 songs from the first demo. If you like original Boston Hardcore and do not already have the songs in another form, it would be a good idea to access them here. Tracks A1 to A9 were originally released as "Deep Wound" 7" on Radiobeat Records in 1983. Tracks A10 and A11 were originally released on the compilation "Bands That Could Be God" on Radiobeat Records in 1984. Tracks A12 to B12 were originally released as "1982 Demo". Black & White 'Quad' (ie. quartered) vinyl reissue of the classic debut studio album by Broken Bones, the ex-Discharge speed-metal punk band, who influenced Metallica and an army of other hard-core punk bands. Broken Bones were formed in 1983 by the Discharge twin brothers of Bones (guitar) and Tezz (bass) and were joined by Baz (drums) and Nobby (vocals). From the 'Potteries' area, Stoke-On-Trent, they first produced two singles, Decapitated and Crucifix, followed by this album 'Dem Bones' – all fast and furious anthems and UK indie chart Top 10 entries. The album, originally released in 1984, was produced by Clay Records' Mike Stone who had also produced Discharge. Along the way, band membership developed, but always featuring the distinctive guitar of Bones. Tezz later went to the USA, where he played with UK Subs, Ministry, and many others. Both brothers are currently in a reformed Discharge. Label: Fall Out Records Barcode: 5013145302811
