Sorry State is excited to bring you a repress of one of the best hardcore records ever, Koro's 1983 7" EP. Originally released in a small, self-released pressing, over the decades this monster's reputation has continued to grow, and collectors now have to fork over well over a grand for an original pressing. This one is too good for the scum to keep to themselves, though, a hyper-compact explosion of energy that can hold its own next to any landmark early 80s hardcore punk record you want to compare it to. A hardcore masterpiece and a 10 Top American slab of 7" perfection. Right up there with Fix's Vengeance, Pick Your King, Negative Approach's debut, Nervous Breakdown. An absolute all-time scorcher. Sorry State's 2023 pressing aims to replicate the original look and feel of the original as closely as possible, with an offset-printed sleeve on legal size paper. It's as close as you can get to the original without missing a mortgage payment. Label: Sorry State

Out of stockFinally Re-issued after 20 years! - Originally pressed in 1996 PROFANE EXISTENCE is bringing this quintessential anarcho-punk masterpiece back in circulation. In 1996 AUS-ROTTEN released their first LP “The System Works For Them” on an unsuspecting punk scene. It spread like wildfire in a pre internet era within a genre that mostly depended on tape trading. (at least is was pre internet for us penniless punks) “The System Works For Them” was the perfect mix of anger and intelligence that the scene needed at the time (and still does today). It was like a wake up call that opened the eyes and ears to many punks the world over. The messages where crystal clear and most us were hooked as soon as the beginning shouts of “Boycott” bellowed over the speakers. I don’t believe any of us ever expected their message to resonate so well within the scene, but even more surprising is how the songs are just as relevant today as on they the day they were written. Which is why PROFANE EXISTENCE has decided to repress this record. We feel that that messages that AUS-ROTTEN brought to the table are to powerful to ignore. We feel that this LP is important and therefore should be highly available and priced affordably. We feel that those that would charge over exorbitant prices on eBay or Discogs have forgotten the message. PROFANE EXISTENCE has worked this out to ever last detail of this release with the members of AUS-ROTTEN whom have been involved from step one. All tracks have been re-masted by Jay Matherson at the Jamroom studios. To be 100% honest we didn’t want to do a complete re-master of what we already considered a good recording. However when we opened the tracks on protools we noticed a few balance issues that required fixing. These fixes resulted in a tremendous upgrade to the overall quality of the tracks. We painstakingly scanned, puzzled, and photoshopped the original artwork to make sure that it was as close to authentic as it could possible be. We then went for broke by pressing in three different vinyl color combinations! Overall to say that we are pumped to release this would be an understatement, we are absolutely ecstatic to bring you this LP on PROFANE EXISTENCE! Label: Profane Existence Records

Finally a European version of the long overdue LOS CRUDOS Discography collection. LOS CRUDOS, formed in Chicago's Pilsen neighbourhood in the early 90's, are a Latino punk band with a strong socio-political message and an extremely militant DIY attitude. During their first incarnation, spanning the years 1991 to 1998 the band self-released their own records, printed their own merch, booked their own shows and toured relentlessly around the world. From South America to Japan including a 3 month European tour in the winter of 1996. They spoke to the freaks the outsiders and the minorities and were not afraid of confronting the white middle class punk who reigned supreme during the terrible 90's. A time which will not be remembered for their hardcore output except for a few exceptions, in which CRUDOS are surely included. Their sound, far from being a copycat of whatever flavour of the month was reigning at the time was heavy rooted in the golden years of European and Latino American ferocious hardcore punk. With bands as IMPACT, WRETCHED, OLHO SECO, TERVEET KADET or MASACRE 68 as obvious influences in a time when the simple mention of any of those bands (or any non English speaking bands really) was usually met with a laugh or a joke. They sang in Spanish, with aggression and conviction and that made their message spread out widely, reaching thousands of Spanish speaking punks both in Latino America and Spain as well as inside USA where third generation Latino kids surely were missing a voice within the punk scene. The band split up in 1998 after a really intense year of touring and reformed in 2008. The band will be undertaking their first ever Scandinavian tour in July/ Agust 2016. This collection, originally released as a benefit for MRR magazine last year, includes all the LOS CRUDOS output plus compilation tracks as well as a couple demo tracks and an unreleased song. The European version comes in a gatefold sleeve and brings a 40 page booklet with flyers and the lyrics of all songs. Label: La Vida Es Un Mus Records

Out of stockLadies and gentlemen, here we go again! Agipunk is stunningly happy to announce the repress of one of the masterpieces of the early era UK crustcore. Phonophobia is a record that inspired thousands of dirty punks all over the world, and having the chance to re-release it is such a honour for us. I don't think we need to introduce this record and this band to any of the people who are reading these lines, but a few words are necessary to explain the value of this product. Phonophobia has originally been recorded and mixed at Southern Studios in London in August 1991. This version has been remixed and remastered by Dean Jones and Phil Vane with additional production at Springvale Studios in Ipswich in October 2009. The sonic assault is now more than ever ear damaging, so prepare your turntable and your eardrums for this final violent assault! 1000 copies will be pressed. (Agipunk Records)

Rock for Light is the second full-length album by Bad Brains, released in 1983. It was produced by Ric Ocasek of The Cars. We’re proud to present the original mix of the album, for the first time in decades, as the band originally intended. Most fans will be more familiar with the 1991 reissue, which was remixed by Ocasek and bass player Darryl Jenifer. In addition to new mixes, that version used an altered track order. This reissue marks the fourth release in the remaster campaign, re-launching the Bad Brains Records label imprint. In coordination with the band, Org Music has overseen the restoration and remastering of the iconic Bad Brains’ recordings. The audio was mastered by Dave Gardner at Infrasonic Mastering and pressed at Furnace Record Pressing. This is the classic album from 1982. Virtually everyone agrees that this group made up of 4 DC African American. They radically quickened punk's tempos, added virtuoso instrumentation, and topped it all off with the mystic squeals of frontman Paul "H.R." Hudson. This release gives voice to the band's scathing sociopolitical judgment as well as its ability to simply put the hammer down and rock. It also allows the rhythm section of Darryl Jenifer and Earl Hudson to flex their muscle on a smattering of dub-reggae interludes that help lull the unsuspecting into the right frame of mind for the next hardcore punch. TRACK LISTING A1 Coptic Times A2 Attitude A3 We Will Not A4 Sailin' On A5 Rally Round Jah Throne A6 Right Brigade A7 F.V.K. 180 Gram record housed in a paste on board sleeve. Indiscriminate cruelty to common people: the slogan could be about war or it could be about your eardrums while listening to 'Tragedy.' Disclose's first LP is a landmark of cacophonous, guitar-forward noisy hardcore. Heavily influenced by classic 80s Swedish raw punk, these fifteen songs perfect the unrelenting formula as only Kawakami could. Originally released in Japan on the cult label Overthrow in 1994, this reissue restores the fierce original mix two decades later. It differs from the mix on later represses hailing from Uppsala, where Swedish bombshelter-dwellers keep the flame alive. This authorized reissue reproduces the original artwork, with insert. Crack your brain up! (La Vida Es Un Mus)

Out of stockIn 1985, VERBAL ABUSE recorded this seminal album after moving from Texas to San Francisco a few years prior much like their peers in D.R.I., living on a diet supplied by soup kitchens and whatever else they could get their hands on, epitomizing the term hardcore. "just an american band" is hardcore at its most raw and primal, a testament to a time when to be hardcore, you had to live hardcore. The band were a soundtrack to a scene still in it’s infancy, a scene that rallied and stood firm against the outside world. Also contains large booklet with lyrics, photos, and commentary from the band. (Beer City Records)

Out of stockOut of Step is the sole studio album by American hardcore punk band Minor Threat. It was released on 45 RPM vinyl in April 1983 through Dischord Records. Along with the fellow Washington D.C. hardcore band BAD BRAINS, MINOR THREAT set the standard for many hardcore-punk bands in the '80s. Where the lyrics on their early 7"s were an outlet for Ian's message, the lyrics on "out of step" deal mainly with friendships. MINOR THREAT is without a doubt one of the most influential hardcore bands ever. Every song is inventive, original, and can stand on its own as a punk classic. This vinyl (on 45rpm) was remastered and re-cut, features an album sleeve re-design from the original artwork and comes with a digital download card. (Dischord Records)

Rightly considered one of the absolute masterpieces of European hc/punk, 'Lo Spirito Continua...' is now completely remastered from the original tapes by famous sound engineer Ale Sportelli, longtime collaborator of the band in the early days. Out of stockDeep Wound was the first band from J Mascis and Lou Barlow (later Dinosaur Jr.) in the early 80s. But if you now expect guitar rock and grunge, you are completely wrong, because the band played incredibly fast, complex hardcore for the time, which easily reached the level of the other Boston bands (Jerry's Kids, Negative FX, SSD, ...). The only 7'' with 9 tracks has been booted several times and is rightly considered an absolute classic. In addition to the tracks of the above 7'' there are also the two songs from compilation "Bands That Could Be God" and the 13 songs from the first demo. If you like original Boston Hardcore and do not already have the songs in another form, it would be a good idea to access them here. Tracks A1 to A9 were originally released as "Deep Wound" 7" on Radiobeat Records in 1983. Tracks A10 and A11 were originally released on the compilation "Bands That Could Be God" on Radiobeat Records in 1984. Tracks A12 to B12 were originally released as "1982 Demo". Out of stockItalian Hardcore, Punk from the Early, Mid Eighties has been raw, aggressive and very fast, bands like EU´S ARSE, INDIGESTI, UART PUNK, NEGAZIONE, DISPERAZIONE, ... are very well known in the Hardcore scene, WRETCHED from Milano, also active in these good old times, are one of the leading bands of this era, early stuff is super raw but influenced a lot of later bands. Their early releases are very hard to find and really super expensive, so fucking rare and wanted by a lot of Punx from all over the world. Out of stockBlack & White 'Quad' (ie. quartered) vinyl reissue of the classic debut studio album by Broken Bones, the ex-Discharge speed-metal punk band, who influenced Metallica and an army of other hard-core punk bands. Broken Bones were formed in 1983 by the Discharge twin brothers of Bones (guitar) and Tezz (bass) and were joined by Baz (drums) and Nobby (vocals). From the 'Potteries' area, Stoke-On-Trent, they first produced two singles, Decapitated and Crucifix, followed by this album 'Dem Bones' – all fast and furious anthems and UK indie chart Top 10 entries. The album, originally released in 1984, was produced by Clay Records' Mike Stone who had also produced Discharge. Along the way, band membership developed, but always featuring the distinctive guitar of Bones. Tezz later went to the USA, where he played with UK Subs, Ministry, and many others. Both brothers are currently in a reformed Discharge. Label: Fall Out Records Barcode: 5013145302811

Out of stockHardcore punk band formed in Victoria, B.C./ Canada in 1980. Dayglo's "Feed Us A Fetus" is their second full-length album, originally released in 1986. This is hands-down, the best Canadian punk record to emerge from the 80's!! Aside from collecting most of the songs from their first 12? record entitled "Out Of The Womb" (1981), it also contains many brand new songs (at the time) that were even better than those on the first album. Many of their classic punk anthems are captured on this vinyl and Unrest Records is the sixth label to release the album over the years, which is a testament to what a classic it really is. There should be one of these in every punk rocker's record collection. Don't miss out!! Label: Unrest Records

Out of stockOriginally released on Riot City Records in 1983 and quickly becoming one of the label's most highly sought after releases, Ultra-Violent recorded just one single before breaking up when vocalist Adie went on to front the Metal incarnation of the English Dogs. Three songs of blistering UK82, and quite possibly the best record in the genre. Finally reissued in it's original format, with original copies regularly selling for £70+ online. An excruciating amount of thought and love has been poured into this release to make it the best reissue it could be. The accompanying insert also features reprints of original fanzine coverage, several previously unpublished photographs and also for the first time, a lyric sheet. Out of stockMonolith was the second full-length album by West County punk-metal ’80s anti-heroes, Amebix. One of the best crossover records the UK ever produced. Originally released in 1987, with second rate Giger-style sleeve-art, on a dodgy heavy metal label (called Dodgy Heavy Metal Records). The Power Remains was a posthumous collection of live and demo recordings, that was originally released in 1993 (and done in a much more appropriate and enthusiastic fashion) by MCR and Skuld Records. This band-released reissue combines both LPs, with lavish new gatefold sleeve artwork (competently created by Andy Lefton of War//Plague and Tau Cross). And these copies are “special record store day 2016 limited editions. Limited to 1000 copies. Housed in a gatefold jacket with a round silver sticker stating "Special Limited Edition- Record Store Day 2016". Tracks A1 to B4 were originally released as the Monolith LP. Tracks C1 C2, and C3 are demo recordings. Recorded at Cabs Studios late 1987 in 10 hours. Track C1 is a demo recording. Recorded at O.O.C. Studios, Holland 1985. Tracks D1 to D4 recorded live in the Longrace Hall Bath September 1987. (Amebix Records/2016)

Out of stockIn 1985 UPRIGHT CITIZENS have been the first german hardcore-punk band that went on tour in the USA. In the bandhistory "Open eyes, open ears, brains to think and a mouth to speak!" counts as the most successful release of the band. Back in those days there was a US pressing released on Better Youth Organization and a little later once again in germany by the band itself with an enhanced tracklisting. Recorded at inner ear studios, arlington, virginia between april 1981 and december 1983. the washington, d.c. straightedge hardcore punk scene began with minor threat. the band recorded two lps on its own dischord label, plus an ep and the miscellaneous singles that are collected on this cd. many of the early recordings on this collection seethe with teen-age angst and indignation. the songs rage against bullies, religious hypocrisy, and the herd mentality. other songs, taken from later in minor threat's career, feature tighter and more sophisticated playing. metallic flourishes tinge the guitar work, vocal harmonies abound, and song dynamics vary more than on the earlier record. on certain songs, ian mackaye's lyrics address the complexities of friendship, loyalty, and self-expression. 'look back and laugh,' 'little friend,' and 'it follows' all incline more toward introspection and ambiguity; conveying loss and sadness in addition to outrage. this second set of songs seems to especially anticipate mackaye's later work with fugazi. the album also contains a few playful numbers like the sing-along cover of 'stepping stone,' and 'cashing in,' a mocking dig at greedy musicians. minor threat believed completely in the power of its music, helping earn a loyal fan following and the respect of numerous other bands who emulated its style and credo. Out of stockBad Brains is the self-titled debut studio album recorded by American hardcore punk/reggae band Bad Brains. Recorded in 1981 and released on (then) cassette-only label ROIR on February 5, 1982, many fans refer to it as "The Yellow Tape" because of its yellow packaging. Though Bad Brains had recorded the 16 song Black Dots album in 1979 and the 5-song Omega Sessions EP in 1980, the ROIR cassette was the band's first release of anything longer than a single. This reissue marks the second release in the remaster campaign, re-launching the Bad Brains Records label imprint. In coordination with the band, Org Music has overseen the restoration and remastering of the iconic Bad Brains’ recordings. The audio was mastered by Dave Gardner at Infrasonic Mastering and pressed at Furnace Record Pressing. (Bad Brains Records / ORG Music)

"Bootleg of a Bootleg" - contains the Judge - Chung King Can Suck It which was originally bootleged on Judge - Revelation Can Suck It LP. Includes 1-sided lyric sheet. 150 copies pressed. Judge had gone into Chung King with only one three-day weekend of studio time block-booked in order to record their first album, since band members John Porcelly and Sammy Siegler were set to tour with their main band Youth Of Today in Europe later that month. The studio was home to many of the popular (and now legendary) rap acts of the day, including the Beastie Boys, Run-DMC and LL Cool J; Youth Of Today had recorded their third album We're Not In This Alone at the same studio earlier in the year, so Porcelly and Siegler were already familiar with the place. According to a 2005 interview with Judge guitarist Porcell in AMP, all three of those acts had already been using three of the four separate facilities in the studio complex, leaving Judge with what was at the time the least technologically advanced of the four rooms. To complicate matters, the recording engineer the band had been assigned by the studio was a full-blown cocaine addict - an irony given Judge's militant anti-drug lyrics and moral code. During the second day of the sessions, the engineer on duty failed to show up for work, forcing the band to work with another studio staff engineer totally unaccustomed to recording punk rock music. After the sessions were completed, Porcell and Siegler listened to the finished mixes while on the Youth of Today European tour and came to the conclusion that while the performances were good, the recordings were not up to the standards of what they had done in the past with Youth of Today. The drum tracks in particular do not have the punch typical of other Revelation releases at the time, and the overall mix is considered to be thin. A phone call to lead singer Mike "Judge" Ferarro confirmed that he too was unhappy with the finished album, and the group chose to shelve the session and start over in a different studio. Unfortunately for Revelation, label owner Jordan Cooper had already paid for the mastering of the record and the plating of the vinyl stampers - a point in the manufacture of record too late to fully prevent the release of an album, especially for Revelation Records, which was then still a small independent label that Cooper was running out of his home. With advance orders already coming in for the as-yet unreleased album, Revelation decided to press a limited run of 100 white-vinyl copies of the album, assigning it catalog number REV:-1 (negative one), and sending these copies to tide over fans who had advance ordered Bringin' It Down. As is customary the record pressing plant produced a 10% overrun of the album and as a result 110 copies were delivered. Each copy has its number stamped on the bottom corner of the back of the sleeve however the printing on the jacket notes a pressing run of 100 so with the additional 10, those extra sleeves had the "100" altered to say "110". This record has been much sought after by collectors ever since. Judge then scheduled time at Normandy Studios in Rhode Island - the same studio where The Cro-Mags recorded their second album Best Wishes in 1988 - to record a proper version of their first album, Bringin' It Down. The two albums are similar in track listing for the first eight songs; Chung King... features two songs, "Holding On" and "No Apologies", that were not rerecorded for Bringin' It Down; "Where It Went", written after the Chung King... sessions, takes their place. The Chung King Can Suck It album remained a rarity (in spite of two different bootleg editions of the album), and was sought after both for its collectibility and the two rare Judge songs it contained, until 2005, when Revelation compiled all of Judge's recorded output - Chung King Can Suck It included - for the CD What It Meant: The Complete Discography. In May 2015 a copy became the most expensive sale on Discogs.com, fetching $6,048, a record that stood for a year until David Bowie's second album, David Bowie, sold for $6,826. Classic and legendary international HC comp put out by Pushead (who of course did the artwork and included his own band Septic Death) in 1985. "Cleanse the Bacteria (in Spanish , "Clean bacteria") is a compilation album of hardcore punk groupspublished in 1985 by the Pusmort Records label and compiled by the graphic artist Pushead (owner of Pusmort and singer of Septic Death ), whose drawings illustrate the album cover. It is a compilation that has acquired the category of cult album. In it, several pioneering bands of hardcore punk and grindcore appear , such as Siege (of whom this is their only official reference). The album features Pushead artwork on the cover and was the label's second release (Pusmort reference 0012-02). The first run came with a free maxi single (Pusmort 0012-03), with more songs from some of the groups on the compilation. Although several of the groups included are of American origin , the majority come from different countries, which makes the album one of the first international hardcore compilations (after Welcome to 1984 , World class punk , PEACE and a few others). Along with the North Americans ( 7 Seconds , the aforementioned Siege , Corrosion of Conformity , Poison Idea and Pushead's Septic Death ), there are the Australians Civil Dissident , the English Instigators and Part 1 (a group ofdarkwave related to Rudimentary Peni ), the Swedes Crude SS and Mob 47 , the Norwegians Akutt Innleggelse , the Japanese Execute , the Dutch Genocide Express (ex Agent Orange ), the Germans Inferno , the Danish Enola Gay , the Finnish Holy Dolls (ex Riistetyt ), the Belgians Zyklome A and the Austrians Extrem." Originally released by Pushead on his Pusmort Records in 1986, this is the latest version from TKO Records and this time you get a faithful reproduction of the ‘Portland Edition’ – meant for local friends and family, on its release in 1986 it not surprisingly became impossibly rare. Included in the original was a 23″ x 35″ thanks list poster, 23″x 29″ band logo poster, two single-sided xerox inserts, and a band logo sticker. All of which are reproduced here for this 2022 version (although, from what I can gather, the xerox inserts have been turned into a 16 page booklet). Housed in a wide-spine, full color direct-to-board printed LP jacket with spot varnish finish and craft interior, inside of a sealed 3 mil. poly outer sleeve. (TKO Records)

The rising hardcore punk movement was taken by storm by a young Italian band from Turin, Negazione. Their earlier singles: "Tutti Pazzi" (1985) and "Condannati A Morte Nelvostro Quieto Vivere" (1985), and songs from "Mucchio Selvaggio" (originally a split tape with Declino in 1984), are collected here as a real foundation of the genre. Compilation originally released by We Bite Records in 1989. An essential hc masterpiece! (Spittle Records - SPITTLE135LP)

Formed in 1981 in Boston, MA Jerry's Kids started out with SS Decontrol, Gang Green, FUs, Freeze and Negative FX when the Boston Hardcore scene became the spotlight of American music. In 1982 a sampler of Boston bands was issued called This is Boston, Not LA. The three bands that dominated this sampler were Gang Green, The Freeze and Jerry's Kids all with more than five songs a piece. Jerry's Kids music was heard worldwide and shortly after a follow up-comp was issued with the band's song, "Unsafe at Any Speed." 1983 saw the release of Is This My World?, Jerry's Kids debut on X-Claim Records. From the buzz of This is Boston, Not LA, Jerry's Kids LP sold 3,000 records with no promotion. Then with X-Claim out of the picture, the record went out of print. At this point, Taang! released the record on its German label, Funhouse. One of the best and most important records in hc/punk history. MUST HAVE. A reissue of the classic 1983 debut album from these pioneers of the Boston, MA hardcore movement. Twelve brutal tracks of harder-than-hard punk rock. Songs on Side A are from "Is this my world?" LP, recorded at Newbury Sound, Boston, 1983. Songs on Side B are from the "This Is Boston Not L.A." sessions 1982. The third album from legendary Canadian punk rock pioneers - D.O.A. from 1982. The fancy edition for the 40th birthday will be published by Pasażer Records in late May 2023. "War on 45" was the successor to the albums "Something Better Change" and "Hardcore '81", which are considered to be absolute classics of punk rock today. It was recorded in mid-1982 during several late-night sessions in Los Angeles (at night the price of the studio was half the price). In politics, it was a time of intensification of the Cold War and the arms race, and a lot of local, more or less bloody conflicts - hence the overtones of the title and most of the songs contained on it. You can hear the war there. On the other hand, the title "War on 45" is a parody of the then-popular lame compilations with hits like "Stars on 45". On the occasion of War on 45, a new line-up of the band crystallized. Joey Shithead and Dave Gregg were joined by Wimpy Roy from the Canadian band The Subhumans, who had just ceased to exist, and the drummer was Dimwit - the older brother of Chuck Biscuits, who in turn had just left the band. 8 tracks known from the original release were enriched with 7 bonuses, mainly from the demo recorded a few months earlier, when the drummer was still the aforementioned Biscuits (also known from many other legendary bands - Black Flag, Danzig, Social Distortion etc.). Thus, on one LP you have two best Canadian drummers of all time: the Montgomery brothers - Biscuits and Dimwit. The album includes two covers from both its US and European releases, and a 12-page booklet with unique archival photos, posters, and a story of the making of the album written by the Canadian godfather of punk rock, frontman D.O.A. - Joey Shithead, where many delicious anecdotes are told. This album blows your mind as hard as D.O.A. always could and sums up one of the best periods in the history of these world-famous punk pioneers. The new edition of "War on 45" will not be played at a fast 45 rpm, but at a regular 33 rpm. Tracklist A1 Liar for Hire A2 I'm Right, You're Wrong A3 America the Beautiful A4 Let's Fuck A5 War A6 I Hate You A7 War in the East A8 Class War B1 Rent-A-Riot (1982 demo) B2 Liar for Hire (1982 demo) B3 Race Riot (1982 demo) B4 America the Beautiful (1982 demo) B5 No Way Out (1982 demo) B6 No God, No War (1981 demo) B7 I Hate You (1982 demo) Label: Pasazer Records
