• ALPINIST is a dark hardcore four-piece from Münster, Germany. lichtlaerm/minus.mensch” is crushing yet beautiful – heavy and atmospheric crust- and post-hardcore, bringing to mind the likes of FROM ASHES RISE, FALL OF EFRAFA, early ENFY etc.. They’re definitely an apocalyptic journey of sound. MASAKARI got finally a new record! Close your eyes and imagine that His Hero is Gone and Amebix got together and had a child… got it? Ok, now imagine that that child grows up in a dank room full of teenage angst, listening to nothing but Death Side and Disfear records until he is 21 years-old. Now open your eyes and what you have is Masakari, a crust punk band from Cleveland, Ohio. (Alerta Antifascista ‎Records / Halo Of Flies ‎Records)

  • Just as on "The Blind" LP, there's not much black metal, it's just crust (but it's good crust!) As for Dysmorfofobia, they're playing rather strange music of sludge/industrial kind (slightly simular to Godflesh). (Trujaca Fala Records)
  • Hailing from London via Spain and Germany, Arboricidio play raging emo crust, a visceral pandemonium of weaving guitars over heavy d-beat, bringing to mind the legends of A Coruña, Ekkaia, Madame Germen and Ictus - with vocalist Amy’s venomous scream howling across desolate landscapes of collapsing pylons, bitter winds and withered trees. Featuring a member of Morrow, Guest vocals by Alex CF, for fans of Ekkaia, Madame Germen, Gattaca, Landbridge and Hyena. • Sweden’s Hardcore pioneers blast back after 23 years! “Död åt kapitalismen” is their first recording since 1994 and as expected it takes no prisoners… 10 songs of raw and brutal HC combing the traditional Scandinavian approach with a solid d-beat structure. It takes all the best features of their previous works to push them to a new devastating stage… speed, anger, vitriolic vocals and a solid production makes this a total scandicore headsmasher for fans of Anti Cimex, Crude SS, Totallitär, Avskum and so on. Comes in a gatefold sleeve. (F.O.A.D. Records)
  • Credited by heavy metal expert Daniel Ekeroth as the true inventors of the blast-beat and the originators of grindcore (he defines Asocial as key to any survey of extreme music in his book 'Swedish Death Metal'), Asocial are a total cult among old European hardcore punk collectors. • Classic 3 song rager from 1980. Less than a year removed from "realities of war" the sound is already faster and more aggressive, leaving '70s punk behind and blazing into pure hardcore raw punk. This record has 3 of DISCHARGE's best songs which are just pure blasts of raw anger and urgency. UK hardcore as it's best! (Havoc Records)

20 years ago DISCLOSE released their response to the greatest hardcore 12” ever released: DISCHARGE’s Why. At the time the band was at the peak of their DISCHARGE era and had perfectly crafted a trademark sound, which shows through on the recording. The chainsaw-sounding double-toned guitar, Kawakami’s unmistakable vocals, and a rhythm section firmly based on the Stoke-On-Trent’s beat melded together to create a repetitive mantra-like noise chant. Recorded at Grove Cargo and mastered at Studio D-Takt by Jan Jutila, the production is a perfect example of noise not music pressed into vinyl, with both high and low frequencies cutting through the mix without losing any power. Lyrically Nightmare Or Reality focuses on the tragic sights of bullshit fucking war while aurally the record is a full-blown attack on all senses. D-Beat Raw Punk at its best. 20 years on and many times imitated but never duplicated. Originally released by MCR Company, this 20 year anniversary official reissue comes in a printed inner sleeve and heavy board outer sleeve. (La Vida Es Un Mus Records)

180 Gram record housed in a paste on board sleeve. Indiscriminate cruelty to common people: the slogan could be about war or it could be about your eardrums while listening to 'Tragedy.' Disclose's first LP is a landmark of cacophonous, guitar-forward noisy hardcore. Heavily influenced by classic 80s Swedish raw punk, these fifteen songs perfect the unrelenting formula as only Kawakami could. Originally released in Japan on the cult label Overthrow in 1994, this reissue restores the fierce original mix two decades later. It differs from the mix on later represses hailing from Uppsala, where Swedish bombshelter-dwellers keep the flame alive. This authorized reissue reproduces the original artwork, with insert. Crack your brain up! (La Vida Es Un Mus)
  • 180 Gram record housed in a paste on board sleeve. Layer upon layer of noise and distortion, like ashes of nuclear apocalypse raining down. The final LP Disclose released, in 2004, captured the band at a high point. When other d-beat raw punk bands were running low on ideas, Kawakami reinvented the sound, incorporating more metallic influences like Broken Bones while still sticking assiduously close to the template. Originally released for Disclose's tour of the US west coast, 'Yesterday's Fairytale, Tomorrow's Nightmare' includes ten tracks and closes with a rampaging masterpiece, the 10-minute 'Wardead,' which exists on another astral plane from generic Discharge copyists. This authorized reissue reproduces the original artwork and includes a new insert with liner notes by Stuart Schrader. (La Vida Es Un Mus)

Black vinyl! The record comes in a nice heavy cardboard gatefold. Those not familiar with Disfear should be ashamed of themselves - you probably have been hiding under a rock for more than 25 years. Starting out as yet another Discharge inspired Dis-band from Sweden, they released a monumental debut album back in 1992 along with producer Tomas Skogsberg. In the years, Disfear became one of the only real survivors of the Dis-scene, and even though many line-up changes plagued the band, they kept on going until they left Osmose Records in 1998 - at which point they had incorporated ex-At the Gates vocalist Tomas Lindberg in the band. Instead of calling it quits, the band had five years to work on new material, and Relapse made them an offer they couldn't refuse, resulting in "Misanthropic Generation". Swedish hardcore in its purest form, "Misanthropic Generation" is a maturation, modernization and perfection of Discharge's music from back in the '80s. With a blazing pace, Entombed-ish guitar/bass riffing meeting the banshee vocalism of Tomas, supported by wickedly groovy Motorhead-style drumming - masturbation for the mind, one might call it. Well adapted to the sound of the new millennium, the twelve songs on this album (mostly clocking around three minutes) are a firm reminder of the past as well as an excellent look into the future of hardcore: "Misanthropic Generation" is a must-have for those who loved Discharge way back as well as those who claim to have an interest in the Swedish hardcore scene. • DISFEAR | soul scars | LP

    16.00 incl. tax
25 year anniversary edition! Black Vinyl! Available in the States from Havoc Records! Originally released in 1995 via Distortion Records, now re-released via La Familia Releases! Forming around 1989, Disfear took elements from both crust and death metal scenes to effectively reinvent the Swedish sound. It is from Disfear's influence that we have seen the likes of Martyrdod, Warcollapse, Wolfpack (now Wolfbrigade), and countless others. Disfear simply took the things that made the Swedish death metal scene so effective such as ferocious/anxious vocals and pummeling drums and put them into the arena of d-beat punk. The result added new dimensions to the genre's sound. Arriving on the scene in Sweden, the band would tour with much of Sweden's metal royalty such as Entombed and Dismember. This happened in part because the band did not have many sonic contemporaries in Sweden at the time. Another innovation made by Disfear was the shift from political commentary on war to the fatalistic and psychological impacts war makes. Again, the band's lyrics also showed influence from the realm of death metal. Gone were the cries for peace and protest against government warmongers and replaced by the resignation that the war was lost. The band's debut LP "Soul Scars" spells this out perfectly. Themes of psychological trauma and irrevocably broken lives from war replaced the politically charged battle cries that Discharge once made. (La Familia Releases)

  • Eleven years after their already classic and genre defining “Under the Ashes” Osaka’s FRAMTID are back with a new LP. “Defeat of Civilization” is everything you would expect from FRAMTID. 10 tracks of crushing Japanese hardcore heavily influenced both by the sound and ideas of early Swedish hardcore but pushing to sound to the edge. Mega distorted guitars, deep vocals and the most solid yet dynamic rhythm section you’ll ever witness are FRAMTID’s trademark as well as are their lyrics full of hope and their stark black and white graphics.. Released in time for their appearances at Chaos in Texas Festival “Defeat of Civilization” has been released simultaneously in Japan (Crust War) USA (Black Water) and LVEUM (Europe). Order accordingly.

  • An absolutely over the top recording comprising twelve tracks of punishing hardcore with a huge wall-of-noize production adding to their faultless song writing. As noisy as the album is, all the songs are hits and hard to forget. 'The Total Arse', 'Tomorrow' and 'Consuming Shit and Mind Pollution' are what the new generation of noize-not-music punk lack, memorable anthems. Housed in a tip on sleeve for as long as they last and without alterations to the art or sound from the original, this reissue tries to bring an undoubtedly classic of our generation back to life.
