Death is raining upon us. Once again the banality of evil is plowing through lives and land. It comes in the shape of man, a mushroom cloud in trousers. What was first an artistic experiment, investigating childhood fears. The dark cloud on the horizon. Looming over us always. Became reality. These six tracks are instruments of terror. Focusing on the inhuman barbarism of humanity. Deafening, blinding, four minute-warnings of heavy electronic mayhem. Programming the synths like Stalin’s organ. Causing radiation sickness. Sonic assault of the mind and body. Hear the siren songs. Sex on red alert. Beware and behave. The Road to Nuclear Holocaust has never been closer. Devastating zynth-slaughter debut LP by Sweden Ä.I.D.S. Six tracks of deafening, blinding, four minute-warnings of heavy electronic mayhem. "I never have and I never will stand on the side of the oppressor. I never have and I never will sell out my integrity for money. I celebrate all humans that stand with me against the oppression of the masses anywhere in the world! When I look at the state of the world, I can’t believe how fucked up it is. If I had to pick one record today that sounds like the way I feel, it would be The Road To Nuclear Holocaust by Ä.I.D.S. Hell fucking yes, this album is an all-out FUCKING RAGER that never lets up! This is what Pure Sonic Fury sounds and feels like and it’s the soundtrack to my past, present, and future! Imagine if Discharge, Killing Joke, and Suicide decided to start a band — the outcome would be 50% of how amazing Ä.I.D.S.sounds. Blast the title track “The Road To Nuclear Holocaust” and the track “Afterworld Trash” then tell me this band is not HARD AF! The “devastating zynth-slaughter” you will come in contact with on this offering will become the soundtrack to y’all’s rage as well! Join us as we celebrate the release of the new Ä.I.D.S. album that is taking place below. I want to give a HUGE shout-out to LA VIDA ES UN MUS DISCOS for releasing The Road To Nuclear Holocaust on Sept. 30th" CVLT NATION (La Vida Es Un Mus)

"AGONI of Stockholm was one of the predecessors of modern D-beat and Scandinavian hardcore, playing in the heavier register such as SVART PARAD, BOMBANFALL, CRUDITY, DNA, HEADCLEANERS, ANTIBOFORS, DISARM, or DISCARD…but in some cases, several years prior to those bands. So, if any of that is of interest, this review is for you, and you already want or have this LP. AGONI was fucking heavy and fast, and pre-any of those categorizations. Just hardcore käng (känga “boot” crust) punk. Grumbling, furious bass and a calamity of drumming and distortion. An intonating furnace of vocals. Classic tumbling intros and tempo changes you hear all the time in a D-beat “Dis” band today. Not just today, ever since the mid-’80s, and all over the world! But AGONI, and their Swedish contemporaries, wrote that skit. The freshness is almost palpable; it sounds so sincerely constructed and musically destructed. The remastering of these three demos(!) and a live 1985 gig is outstanding. Not to get too far off track here, but if you watch ’80s skate videos and you see the look on the skater’s face when they are like, “What the fuck did I just do and land?,” you realize they were inventing something raw and powerful and always went as hard as possible —it was their scene to do so. That is what it’s like to listen to this compilation. Beautiful hardcore in its the purest and earliest form. No carbon copies here, actually writing the often-imitated fill stylings and riffs you hear today, seemingly happening on the exact take you are listening to. Those subtle imperfections in timing and dropping tone that make it so fucking punk. Side B (demo three) moves into their more thrash-crossover material, as bands of this style were doing then, but even their take retains hardcore roots in its hooks. This collection is essential! Alas, all the liner notes are in Swedish. Use your translation app or something, it’s not 1984—and don’t forget your band is not AGONI when you rehearse that two-second raw moment they did, but you’re still pretty good." https://www.maximumrocknroll.com/review/mrr-467/en-rost-for-fred-1984-1986-lp/ 100% Classic Stockholms Mangel! This LP contains all three AGONI (pre-Agony) demos including the long lost second demo and live material. Gatefold sleeve with extensive liner notes, photos etc. 250x Green vinyl. 1-7: Demo 1 (1985) 8-12: Demo 2 (1985) 13-15: Demo 3 The Future Is Ours (1986) 16-21: Live Ultrahuset 1985-03-31 (De Nihill Records)

  • It's with great pleasure that we announce the Swedish raw punk legends ANTI CIMEX have finally reached the joyful lands of Agipunk. On this record we're collecting in chronological order all the demos and the studio recording sessions that haven't been released on any official release so far. A total of 29 tracks that originally appeared on "K.A.A.S January 1982", "K.A.A.S April 1982", "En Produkt Av Dagens Skitsamhälle" tapes plus the studio session right before the "Raped Ass" 7" EP and the discarded recordings for the full length that never saw the light and eventually became the "Victims Of A Bomb Raid" 7" EP. All you Cimex maniacs out there probably already know most of the songs, but you'll definitely find a bunch of extremely obscure tracks which I bet you've never heard before. All the tracks come from the original tapes and the sound has been restored and remastered by Lasse at Ballade Studio in Copenhagen. 1000 copies pressed (500 on Agippunk and 500 on Sonarize Rec.), super detailed insert full of informations and anedoctes. • The Swedish hardcore punk scene of the early 1980s was vibrant and wide, with underground movements yielding surprising extremities. This ultra-scarce cassette-only release, limited to 300 copies in 1984, was the first of the legendary Uproar label, pitting the blast-beat proto-grindcore of Asocial, from the small town of Hedemora, against the classical thrash of Bedrövlers, from the equally small town of Fagersta, whose name roughly translates to Miserablerz, a term assigned them by a bus driver that disliked their discordant noise. Subverting Bad Religion’s How Could Hell Be Any Worse for their own purposes, Asocial’s tracks are blindingly fast and Bedrövlers’ down and dirty-rare Swedish hardcore, at its best! Formed in 1981 by a crew of hardcore punx and skins from Stoke-on-Trent in the industrial Midlands of England, Asylum fully embraced the ‘Noise Not Music’ rallying call. The missing link between Discharge and Japanese Noisecore, their sound is characterised by detuned ear-piercing distortion: buzzsaw guitars, fuzzed bass, charging drums and gargled vocals battle each other in a maelstrom of lo-fi production murk that reflects the bleak outlook of their lyrics. Only existing for a brief moment in time (playing a handful of mainly local gigs and releasing one demo tape and the occasional track on compilation tapes) and obscure even during their existence, Asylum were nonetheless influential, their ‘1,000 M.P.H. Hardcore Punk’ inspiring other U.K. groups such as Skum Dribblurzzzz and Napalm Death. (Nic Bullen) This release contains the 6 Track demo Is This The Price? Which was originally released as a tape only EP on Retaliation Records. The tracks have been remastered and mark the first time Asylum have released anything on vinyl. (Sealed Records)

Finally Re-issued after 20 years! - Originally pressed in 1996 PROFANE EXISTENCE is bringing this quintessential anarcho-punk masterpiece back in circulation. In 1996 AUS-ROTTEN released their first LP “The System Works For Them” on an unsuspecting punk scene. It spread like wildfire in a pre internet era within a genre that mostly depended on tape trading. (at least is was pre internet for us penniless punks) “The System Works For Them” was the perfect mix of anger and intelligence that the scene needed at the time (and still does today). It was like a wake up call that opened the eyes and ears to many punks the world over. The messages where crystal clear and most us were hooked as soon as the beginning shouts of “Boycott” bellowed over the speakers. I don’t believe any of us ever expected their message to resonate so well within the scene, but even more surprising is how the songs are just as relevant today as on they the day they were written. Which is why PROFANE EXISTENCE has decided to repress this record. We feel that that messages that AUS-ROTTEN brought to the table are to powerful to ignore. We feel that this LP is important and therefore should be highly available and priced affordably. We feel that those that would charge over exorbitant prices on eBay or Discogs have forgotten the message. PROFANE EXISTENCE has worked this out to ever last detail of this release with the members of AUS-ROTTEN whom have been involved from step one. All tracks have been re-masted by Jay Matherson at the Jamroom studios. To be 100% honest we didn’t want to do a complete re-master of what we already considered a good recording. However when we opened the tracks on protools we noticed a few balance issues that required fixing. These fixes resulted in a tremendous upgrade to the overall quality of the tracks. We painstakingly scanned, puzzled, and photoshopped the original artwork to make sure that it was as close to authentic as it could possible be. We then went for broke by pressing in three different vinyl color combinations! Overall to say that we are pumped to release this would be an understatement, we are absolutely ecstatic to bring you this LP on PROFANE EXISTENCE! Label: Profane Existence Records
  • Sweden’s Legendary D-Beat Band AVSKUM return with their first new album since 2008, “ En Annan Värld Ar Möjlig" ( Another World Is Possible). Their fifth album has 17 new tracks of rage filled D-beat hardcore supporting Indigenous rights, Self-determination and attacking Fascism, Militarism, Misogyny and political corruption. Avskum’s sound has it’s roots in their 1982 origins at the earliest stages of Swedish hardcore punk, with harshly screamed vocals and quick blasting songs, underlined over the ensuing decades by a rock driven heaviness with searing guitar solos, thundering bass lines and rampaging drum attack. Recorded by Kenko at Communichaos Studios, the album features guest vocals from Tompa from At The Gates / Disfear, TB from Asocial / Uncurbed and Mattis from Makabert Fynd. With two stunning cover illustrations by Jordan Barlow to hammer home their vision of empowerment and resistance. Label: Skrammel Records (Europe), Prank Records (US)

  • Q: Do you really want to read an umpteenth generic blurb about yet another random d-beat punk band? A: No you don't. So let's hear it from the, er, fans?: "I don't have a clue what d-beat is, but those guys seem alright?" – Charles, local bartender "Fucking thieves stealing riffs and getting away with it." – Asocial "…wait, they stole riffs too?" – Bambi, Stoke-on-Trent, UK "OK boomers" – Emma, 16 As the sky is once again studded with bombs the history repeats itself endlessly. “A giant game of chess they play with you and I as the disposable pieces” isn’t it ? There will always be atrocities to document and to denounce. This record fits perfectly to the current context. The lyrics have never been so meaningful in the sense that they depict a world where the dark side of the human race has the upper hand, where scorn and hatred know no end. Do we need to tell you that this new offering from BOMBARDEMENT is their best record ever and that you will never get enough of this raging punk deluge ? Yes, the guitars are like sharp incisors starving for revenge. Yes, the vocals resonate like bomb alerts. The future is here and it’s no fairy tale. (Destructure Records)

Hints of extreme metal à la Venom and Celtic Frost, mixed with the UK hardcore approach of Conflict, Crass and Discharge were the main ingredients for a recipe which allowed the band to build a following for 35 years to come. 20 years ago DISCLOSE released their response to the greatest hardcore 12” ever released: DISCHARGE’s Why. At the time the band was at the peak of their DISCHARGE era and had perfectly crafted a trademark sound, which shows through on the recording. The chainsaw-sounding double-toned guitar, Kawakami’s unmistakable vocals, and a rhythm section firmly based on the Stoke-On-Trent’s beat melded together to create a repetitive mantra-like noise chant. Recorded at Grove Cargo and mastered at Studio D-Takt by Jan Jutila, the production is a perfect example of noise not music pressed into vinyl, with both high and low frequencies cutting through the mix without losing any power. Lyrically Nightmare Or Reality focuses on the tragic sights of bullshit fucking war while aurally the record is a full-blown attack on all senses. D-Beat Raw Punk at its best. 20 years on and many times imitated but never duplicated. Originally released by MCR Company, this 20 year anniversary official reissue comes in a printed inner sleeve and heavy board outer sleeve. Label: La Vida Es Un Mus Records

180 Gram record housed in a paste on board sleeve. Indiscriminate cruelty to common people: the slogan could be about war or it could be about your eardrums while listening to 'Tragedy.' Disclose's first LP is a landmark of cacophonous, guitar-forward noisy hardcore. Heavily influenced by classic 80s Swedish raw punk, these fifteen songs perfect the unrelenting formula as only Kawakami could. Originally released in Japan on the cult label Overthrow in 1994, this reissue restores the fierce original mix two decades later. It differs from the mix on later represses hailing from Uppsala, where Swedish bombshelter-dwellers keep the flame alive. This authorized reissue reproduces the original artwork, with insert. • Comes in 350 gram inside/out sleeve with 400 gram lyric sheet and 180 gram vinyl! There is no need for any introduction with a band like DISFEAR! With a DIS in the name is very clear what these dudes are about: on "A Brutal Sight Of War" they deliver nine tracks of Discharge-ish d-beat crust hardcore with harsh toxic vocals, discore riffs and fast tempos. The record contains both, their "s/t" EP from 1992 and the all-time classic "A Brutal Sight Of War" EP from 1993! Finally, after 14 years available on vinyl again through La Familia Releases! • Last in the Disfear re issue series. Crushing Swedish hardcore originally released in 1997 and of print on vinyl ever since. Disfear combines the intensity and bleak anti war imagery of Discharge and early UK bands with the heaviness of Swedish Death Metal and Crust. The result is like a sledgehammer to the walls of ignorance and oppression built up around us by the system. A blast of raw anger and pure hardcore power. Full color gatefold. Finally a re-release of this classic album. Adding ENTOMBED guitarist Uffe Cederlund to a group that already features AT THE GATES singer Tomas Lindberg has created a death 'n' roll supergroup - and one of the best heavy records of 2008. For those who are unfamiliar with DISFEAR, it is basically a mix of a lot of hardcore with a lot of metal to create a product that is simply loud, in your face and unrelenting. "live the storm" is a 35min. assault of heavy power chords, pounding drums and bass, layered with southern sounding leads and throat wrenching yells. LabeL La Familia Releases
  • Those not familiar with Disfear should be ashamed of themselves - you probably have been hiding under a rock for more than 25 years. Starting out as yet another Discharge inspired Dis-band from Sweden, they released a monumental debut album back in 1992 along with producer Tomas Skogsberg. In the years, Disfear became one of the only real survivors of the Dis-scene, and even though many line-up changes plagued the band, they kept on going until they left Osmose Records in 1998 - at which point they had incorporated ex-At the Gates vocalist Tomas Lindberg in the band. Instead of calling it quits, the band had five years to work on new material, and Relapse made them an offer they couldn't refuse, resulting in "Misanthropic Generation". Swedish hardcore in its purest form, "Misanthropic Generation" is a maturation, modernization and perfection of Discharge's music from back in the '80s. With a blazing pace, Entombed-ish guitar/bass riffing meeting the banshee vocalism of Tomas, supported by wickedly groovy Motorhead-style drumming - masturbation for the mind, one might call it. Well adapted to the sound of the new millennium, the twelve songs on this album (mostly clocking around three minutes) are a firm reminder of the past as well as an excellent look into the future of hardcore: "Misanthropic Generation" is a must-have for those who loved Discharge way back as well as those who claim to have an interest in the Swedish hardcore scene. DISFEAR | soul scars | LP

    18.50 incl. tax
25 year anniversary edition! Originally released in 1995 via Distortion Records, now re-released via La Familia Releases! Forming around 1989, Disfear took elements from both crust and death metal scenes to effectively reinvent the Swedish sound. It is from Disfear's influence that we have seen the likes of Martyrdod, Warcollapse, Wolfpack (now Wolfbrigade), and countless others. Disfear simply took the things that made the Swedish death metal scene so effective such as ferocious/anxious vocals and pummeling drums and put them into the arena of d-beat punk. The result added new dimensions to the genre's sound. Arriving on the scene in Sweden, the band would tour with much of Sweden's metal royalty such as Entombed and Dismember. This happened in part because the band did not have many sonic contemporaries in Sweden at the time. Another innovation made by Disfear was the shift from political commentary on war to the fatalistic and psychological impacts war makes. Again, the band's lyrics also showed influence from the realm of death metal. Gone were the cries for peace and protest against government warmongers and replaced by the resignation that the war was lost. The band's debut LP "Soul Scars" spells this out perfectly. Themes of psychological trauma and irrevocably broken lives from war replaced the politically charged battle cries that Discharge once made. Label: La Familia Releases

    EGO | egoism | LP

    16.00 incl. tax
When I had the chance to listen to this demo I didn't hesitate a minute and got straight in touch with the band asking for the possibility to reissue it on vinyl because it blew my minds away. The physical version of Ego-ism is billed as a demo on their band’s Bandcamp page, but with ten very lengthy tracks, Ego-ism is longer and more ambitious than most current punk and hardcore bands’ full-lengths. The sound is gruff and heavy (particularly the vocals, which are growling and intense), but the music is adventurous, working in elements of shoegaze and darkwave around the edges. Take the track “Dekadent,” which borrows moves from Bauhaus and Skeletal Family, but then Ego snaps right back into d-beat with “Ljudi.” Hailing from Berlin and featuring Nesha from Doomsday Graphics on vocals this will be remembered as one of the few good things that happened during the pandemic. After the successful debut on tape, promptly reissued on vinyl in 2021, EGO from Berlin go back on the attack with their first real full length. 10 tracks of pure uk 82 punk. Nesa's powerful voice is accompanied by a stainless rhythm section and a wall of guitar that harks back to bands that were screaming from behind the Iron Curtain. What else to say? It's impossible to sit still while listening to this album. Graphics in pure black and white by Nesa/Doomsday Graphics, as usual minimal, disturbing and simply brilliant. Label: Agipunk
  • Hey knuckle draggers and chain swingers! Looking to add some dynamite to your pogo stick? Look no further!! Enzyme’s Golden Dystopian Age LP is here! 4 years since Howling Minds LP, Enzyme’s 2nd offering bends all odds and pushes the band’s brand of noise punk to a new limit. Lots to process about this record, from the hyperactive drumming, catchy rhythm backbone by the bass, 1000 pedal stomp buzz saw noise/psychedelic soundscapes guitars, discordant terminator vocals that sound like they been recorded through a cheap boom box, cameo vocals from Hardcore Victim CEO / Phantasm vox Bernie, to the more noise / beats provided by hard techno unit Nerve AKA Joshua Wells makes for one perfect storm that these noise bent fuckers have managed to harness. 3 years to make, this record sounds and reads like a reflection of life living through the tightly sanctioned lockdowns, a state of uncertainty, helplessness, anxiety and fear, geographical and imposed isolation, natural disasters and civil unrest in Naarm (Melbourne) Australia. 8 relentless noise punk tracks for the new hell we live in. Golden Dystopian Age showcases Enzyme’s never ending one sided romance with punk legends Confuse, Chaos U.K and Disorder but also exploring other influences like Anarcho punk, space rock, psychedelia, metal and gabber. Blasphemy! Is this punk future? It’s as ugly as the world Enzyme sees. It’s the Golden Dystopian Age. Label: La Vida Es Un Mus

  • The Scandicrust institution known as Fredag Den 13:e was formed in Gothenburg/Sweden back in 2006. The five guys had met through local punk shows and decided to combine the raw power of Swedish punk acts like Anti Cimex and Mob47 with the rock ‘n roll feel of Poison Idea and Motörhead. After the first 7” was released in 2007 the band have to this day released four full length albums – ’Under Iskalla Fanor’ (2010), ’Tjugohundratretton’ (2013) and ’Domedagar’ (2015) and ’Dystopisk Utsikt’ (2018). Their new album Mänskliga Gränstillstånd (translated Human Limit States) contains 12 fierce tracks in the same style as their previous albums – the mix of riffs hailing from the last 30 years of rock music. In the opening track “En Sömn Utan Slut” (A Sleep Without End) you will hear fragments of the Gothenburg death sound made famous by At The Gates, followed by raging d-beat in ’Våldsmonopol′ (Monopoly Of Violence). The rock ‘n roll-feel of Poison Idea hits the listener in “Dödens Aveny” (Death’s Avenue) and the HC-breakdowns are lined up in “Förlorade År” (Lost Years). You will also hear fragments of Scandinavian black metal in riffs like “Du Lever En Lögn” (You’re Living A Lie) and ”Tyst Vår” (Silent Spring). Lead singer G explains the idea behind the lyrics on the album: “On our last album, Dystopisk Utsikt, most of the lyrics involved the disgust towards religion, fascism and oppression that rose all over the world during the last decade. When entering 2020 the world was hit by a plague that put humanity in a state of lockdown and that became the foundation for the lyrics on the new album. The title Mänskliga Gränstillstånd has its origin in the way we look at psychological isolation and the concept of madness – what is normal and what is not?” Mänskliga Gränstillstånd was mastered by Brad Boatright (From Ashes Rise) in his studio Audiosiege in Portland. The release is a co-op between Phobia Records (Czech Republic), De:Nihil (Sweden), Halvfabrikat (Sweden), Deviance (France) and Every Day Hate (Poland).
