  • The Wolves are back!!! After the success of their latest "Anti-Tank Dogs" 7" the 5 Swedish maniacs decided it's time to repress their debut full length. We are honored once again to be involved in this collaboration that will also have Havoc Records releasing this masterpiece in U.S.A. The release will come with a great new layout and a restored sound that will be fatter and more powerful compared to the original one on a picture disc. What else should we say about this one? We all know Wolfbrigade and how good this record is, so we can't do nothing but wait for it to be released around November 2023. Label: Agipunk

It's finally happening ! In a couple of weeks, the long awaited reissue of In Darkness You Feel No Regrets by Wolfbrigade will be finally available. The second album from the fiercest swedish hardcore punk band has been unavailable for more than a decade and we're very happy to bring it back in 2023, 20 years after its inception. « In Darkness » was one of the most influential records in the very prolific crust / hardcore scene of the early 2000s, ten songs of a perfect mix of brutality and melody and a cover of Poison Idea's Say Goodbye. We were very honored to be able to release the European version of this record in 2003 and the enthusiasm is still real to be able to offer you this reissue 20 years later. The disillusioned rage and urgency of this album remain intact after two decades. This reissue has been carefully prepared coincidentally with the band and packed in a gatefold cover with an impressive artwork by Wolfbrigade's very own bass player Johan Erkenvåg. It comes in a gatefold sleeve and there are clear & black marble and purple & black marble colored vinyl versions available for mailorder. Label: Destructure

The 7" consists of three brand new songs recorded at Wolfden Studio in March 2021 by Jocke Rydbjer. Warcry is a Portland Oregon based D-beat band featuring Todd of Tragedy and His Hero Is Gone fame on vocals and Keith from Hellshock, The Estranged, Lebenden Toten and Black Water Records on drums. Savage Machinery is the band's fourth full-length LP, which was just released on the band's own imprint Warcry Records for the U.S. market. For the first time on Agipunk, Warcry's Savage Machinery features ten tracks of vicious and brutal sounding D-BEAT. Those who think of this band as Tragedy's faster, louder, and angrier little brothers (mostly since because they have the same vocalist), are completely wrong, as even with the similar vocal style Warcry sound pretty much nothing like Tragedy. As with all of their other records, the inspiration here is classic d-beat of the type that we generally associate with mid-to-late-80s Scandinavia... if you dig records like Anti-Cimex's "Criminal Trap" 12", Totalitär's "Sin Egan Motstandare", or Nuclear Death Terror's "S/T" LP you'll definitely be able to rage out to this one. Great riffs, totally bruising recording, and all of the top-notch quality you would expect from this camp. These ten songs are flawlessly executed and will definitely appeal to fans of this style of music. Highly recommended! Enjoy! (Agipunk Records)

Time to Resign is the debut record from this new Swedish käng band featuring members whose names you might recognize from similar groups like Meanwhile, Dischange, No Security, Disfear, and many more I’m sure (ask Usman, he’ll tell you). The sound, fans will be pleased to hear, is what you’d expect from this crew, but something about Verdict feels more vital and less off-the-cuff than other projects from the post-Totalitär Swedish hardcore underground. The first thing you’ll notice with Verdict is the vocals, which are hoarse, snarling, and captivating. The lyrics are in English, which is relatively uncommon for Swedish bands of this ilk, and they’re excellent, conveying a mix of anger, disgust, and horror at the current condition of the world, riding the fine line between being direct and more evocative and poetic. The music is pitch-perfect käng, so meticulously composed that it feels almost claustrophobic at first, but when you listen closely, you hear the inventiveness on display. As with Totalitär, the riffing ranges from super catchy (“Hypocrisy,” “Bound to Fail”) to straightforward and brutal (“Lock Down Society”), with the rhythm section executing a range of different d-beat grooves and tempos to match. Verdict constantly changes things up and keeps them exciting, knowing just when to shift gears into something like the standout “Dark Thoughts,” which speeds up the groove from Discharge’s “A Look at Tomorrow.” I can’t believe Time to Resign is 15 minutes long… it feels like half that, and every time the record ends I’m left wanting more. - Sorry State (Phobia Records)
  • 2nd album from "all-star" d-beat band from Sweden. "There are bands that you feel you have known forever—recent ones, new ones even—because you are already so familiar with what you know they are going to offer, familiar with the anticipation and the need, with the pleasure you expect them to, quite rightfully, provide the masses (by which I mean people who have once considered calling their first-born Käng). VERDICT is such a band. It has members of MEANWHILE, NO SECURITY, WARCOLLAPSE, 3-WAY CUM, TOTALITÄR, and too many other bands, and even though I have never actually met any of them, I still have had more interactions with them through (over)playing and rocking to their records than I have had with some members of my family, which, to be honest, is definitely for the best. VERDICT is a rather new (but experienced in the things of the D) käng hardcore band, and they know exactly what they are doing and how to do it. Had they produced something different, that would have completely taken me aback—something horrendous like ska-punk would have made so little sense that I would have had to quit punk altogether. Alright, what about The Rat Race, then. This is the follow-up to last year’s Time to Resign, and this one has even more punch, fury, and pummelling power than its predecessor. Unoriginal, in a good way, and thoroughly checking all the correct boxes: the drumming is pure and relentless, the riffs’ efficiency is religiously executed in a “Scandicore 101” way, the vocals are angry, direct, and raspy. Think a joyous orgy between NO SECURITY, UNCURBED, and TOTALITÄR. This is the kind of record that makes the world a better place to rock. Thank you Phobia Records. Käng up your life." • This LP went in and out of print quickly in 1985 shortly before the Varukers' first breakup. Unlike the band's earlier UK82 style, this record captures Varukers taking on some of the metal influence that was sweeping UK hardcore at the time. Powerful and energetic hardcore with metallic undertones, this record is more in line with Antisystem, Antisect, or Sacrilege than say Partisans or Abrasive Wheels. Now available again on vinyl. (Radiation Records)
  • The Varukers was one of the first groups of the UK 82 movement - the second generation of punk rock that took the spirit of '77 and merged it with the incessant beat of NWOBHM - responsible for creating UK hardcore. Heavily inspired by Discharge, The Varukers released three 7"s in the early '80s before this, their first and most definitive album, came out in 1983 on the legendary Riot City Records (Vice Squad, Abrasive Wheels, Chaos U.K.). Back in print on LP thanks to Radiation Reissues, "Bloodsuckers" is one of the definitive pieces of early UK hardcore, full of Sabbath-inspired guitar work, pounding rhythms and aggressive, anarchistic lyrical content. The mission statement was to create a 4-way split 12” in the tradition of classic hardcore compilations in a similar vein as Thrash ‘Til Death. 4 bands from 3 different countries, each contributing several raging hardcore offerings – all fresh material unique to this compilation. DESTRUCT and SCARECROW from USA, DISSEKERAD from Sweden, and RAT CAGE from England all deliver their personal brand of bludgeoning raw hardcore punk at peak performance. When the recordings for this 4-way split were finalized, we knew the final product was becoming something special. Presented with beautiful and frightening cover artwork courtesy of the digitally evil mastermind Joe B, the record is as visually striking as the sound is skull shattering.
