“Pezzi di vetro schizzi di sangue” (translated: pieces of glass, splatters of blood) is the definitive book on Luca Abort, singer of BLUE VOMIT, NERORGASMO, IFIX TCEN TCEN, collecting all his stunning drawings, paintings, graffiti, comics, band photos.. A maniacal collection of images, the result of a project developed over 10 years about one of the most nihilistic and emblematic characters of the Italian punk scene between the 1980s and 1990s, passed away too young following his omen “I’ll exalt myself with the most sublime death”.. A personality of great intelligence, surly and provocative, Luca has created an enormous amount of drawings, paintings, graffiti, tables, record covers, flyers and other graphic artworks. This book collects them meticulously: almost 300 full colored color pages disclosing a huge amount of never seen before material (taken from Luca’s personal archives made available to his mother’s courtesy) also including rare photos and detailed discographies of BLUE VOMIT, NERORGASMO and IFIX TCEN TCEN. This book is almost completely devoid of written parts except for a brief preface and afterword in Italian, it’s all focused on the pictures, so even if you don’t understand Italian you will be fully satisfied. Regular soft cover version limited to 350 copies. Label: F.O.A.D. Records

After reissuing Colombian underground milestones such as Blasfemia, Restos De Tragedia and the iconic “Estamos en la sima” compilation, F.O.A.D. is back to digging into the obscure roots of the legendary Ultra Metal scene born in Medellín in the mid ’80s. This time it’s the turn of AGRESSOR, a pioneering, extremely raw unit delivering the ugly, barbaric sounds that were peculiar to that area and were portraying a nightmarish reality of crimes, drugs and misery. As some say “It’s not Metal, it’s not Hardcore… it’s ULTRA METAL“. Double LP anthology collecting all their 80’s recordings, consisting of: “Ensayo 1986” (early demo), recordings for “Rodrigo D. No Futuro” (1987), complete session at “Estudio Tiempos Modernos” (1987), live at Aeropuerto “Olaya Herrera“, 1987. Gatefold sleeve with rare photos, flyers and a detailed history (in Spanish and English) written in collaboration with the band’s guitarist Antonio Guerrero, explaining how – with the shittiest equipment and instruments – he managed to achieve that crude primitive sound that characterized not only Agressor but also other bands he was in (Sacrilegio and Masacre) and inspired hordes of death thrashin’ maniacs all over the world. Sheer caveman brutality channelled through the rawest Metal ever created! Black vinyl limited to 200. (F.O.A.D. Records)

  • Picture disc LP with bonus flexi disc (red) limited to 250 copies. The most Hardcore-infused BORIS album to date, their 26th full length recorded in self-isolation due to the pandemic. This is how BORIS themselves describe the mood behind this album: “A mirror that gathers and reflects people’s negative energy at a different angle, one that is positive. That is the power and potential of the dark, extreme, and brutal noise music that we have experienced up to this point“. Previously released in Japan only by Blood Sucker Records on CD and LP (both versions already sold out and getting pricey on Discogs or elsewhere), this exclusive F.O.A.D. edition is the first internationally distributed and it adds a bonus flexi disc with an unreleased version of the band’s cover of “Fundamental Error” by GUDON, featuring Guy (ORIGIN OF M, ex-GUDON) on bass!! To sum it all up: “NO” balances a respect for Japanese hardcore tradition with uncompromising idiosyncrasy, resulting in one of the most brazen and punishing Boris albums to date. The whole album keeps a nervous pace where their familiar sludgy doom atmospheres – that they always deliver with unmatched apocalyptic heaviness – give way to roaring Hardcore bursts in a perfectly flowing crescendo. • New edition with Japanese OBI strip mocking up the style of the Japanese pressing of “The day of wrath” on Far East Metal Syndicate. The extremely rare BULLDOZER demotape 1984 with the kult “Fallen angel” 7″ added as a bonus. One of the most incredible finds in FOAD’s hunting career: only 3 copies of this demo exist, one sent to Roadrunner, one to King Diamond, and one exhumed in 2013 in AC Wild’s basement and delivered to us for the highest quality treatment. This is the recording that got Bulldozer signed with Roadrunner in 1984 and it sounds killer – different and rawer versions of the classics that ended up on their slasher debut “The Day of Wrath.” Dark and demonic black/speed metal from the wildest guts of Italy’s 80s metal inferno, for all those who worship the early releases of Venom, Bathory and Possessed; plus, the “Fallen angel” session adds that Motörhead touch that makes this record an instant masterpiece of rawness. See how AC Wild introduced these unreleased demo recordings: “This tape was sent to Roadrunner and Roadrunner put us under contract in 1984. It was also sent to King Diamond to ask if he would be interested in being the producer of our album, but he declined saying this stuff sounded ‘too Punk’!!!” Comes with an insert with liner notes, rare photos and scans of the “Fallen angel” 7″, including the previously unreleased alternate sleeve version. Solid black vinyl limited to 250 copies Label: F.O.A.D. Records

For all its length, the nastiness of the speed metal and the brutal influences of bands like Venom and Mot?rhead collide to create another high impact effort, in pure 80s style!! RIDE HARD... The most comprehensive and detailed discography to date of this raw and violent Japanese hardcore band! From the streets of Sapporo, Hokkaido, F.U.P. combined the crude, distorted sound peculiar to their area (think Napalm, Human Gas, Tranquilizer, Deef) with a solid backbone drawing from the rawest UK hardcore of the first wave. This anthology brings together all their existing recordings, including all the very rare demotapes (which were seldom heard outside of their immediate circle) and tracks from the legendary “Sapporo City Hardcore” 7″ flexi compilation (1990) and “Nothing action, nothing have” compilation tape. 79 TRACKS!!! DOUBLE LP includes: – “Non stop war” Demo (1988) / “Nothing action, nothing have” comp. tracks (1989) / “Bootleg” Demo (1990) / “Sapporo City Hardcore” comp. tracks and “No!!” free giveaway tape (1990) / “Stop the lawless an act” Demo (1991) / “Final” Demo (1991) BONUS CD includes: “Bootleg+ (plus) Demo / Live at Bessie Hall, 1989 / Live at Zippy Hall, 1991 All scrupulously reacquired from cassettes and 1/4″ reels provided by the band and mastered with the utmost care for the most violent and annihilating sonic impact! • 2nd chapter in F.O.A.D.‘s mission to reissue the entire Unsound Music catalog on vinyl (Insanity Defense being the first). Another hidden gem of fast and furious Long Island, NY Hardcore with a sound in the vein of the early Touch & Go bands. “What happens when you take a Brit punk and an American punk, put them together in a studio… what do you get? A row? No! You get FATAL VISION” (Jeff Earing). This mysterious short-lived band, created by Ric Clarke and Jeff Earing (Insanity Defense, Satans Cheerleaders, etc) made a cassette of full throttle raging hardcore that mixes elements of punk from both sides of the pond. 12 songs of mosh pit madness, led by singer Pete Coffey. This recording from 1983 was never released in its entirety… until now! Sourced from the band’s mastertape and specially mastered for vinyl at Toxic Basement Studio. Including insert with scans of the original cassette, lyrics and liner notes. Seablue/green vinyl limited to 100 copies. (F.O.A.D. Records)
  • A rare example of traditional Japanese hardcore rooted in 80’s speed metal!!! Formed in the mid-80s as a speed/thrash metal band, after starting to attend the local hardcore scene FORCE SKELETOR gradually shifted their style toward a powerful blend of traditional Japanese HC while still maintaining an old school metal vibe, creating a unique choice of sound that turns out to be totally epic and intense… Quoting the band’s frontman Reezi: “By the time we started to write their own songs, the metal scene was already partially overshadowed by the rise of grunge, and Pantera’s influence was pushing many bands towards groove metal. Force Skeletor who aspired to play “fast and extreme metal,” felt discouraged by the state of the scene in those days. Around this time, I discovered the legendary Japanese hardcore compilation video “Complete Death Live” (1989). After watching it, I was deeply impressed and began to explore the possibility of shifting our activities to the hardcore scene. Force Skeletor auditioned at Koenji’s old 20000V and at Shinjuku’s Antiknock, two live houses which hosted countless hardcore gigs. This was the beginning of their activity as a hardcore band..” Hard to label them, but they could be portrayed as “BURNING SPIRITS BLACKENED HARDCORE”!! This double LP collection includes all their existing recordings: “The Chaos” demo (1991) / “混沌神降臨” demo (1992) / “The Devil” demo (1994) / track from “Sword of Thrash 6 – Morrow” comp. CD Band members later went on to form the blasting black metal horde APOLOGIST! Gatefold jacket + full colored booklet including photos and scans of the original cassette covers.. Solid black vinyl limited to 250 copies. Label: F.O.A.D.
  • Chiba Hardcore warriors!! A collection of incredible rarities tracing the history of G-10 from their origins in 1986 to 1993. All of their demos, compilation tracks, and a large selection of previously unreleased recordings exhumed by the band, so mysterious that for several tracks no one has been able to trace the song titles, assuming they were ever titled.. 27 TRACKS, all obviously never released on vinyl to date. Along with bands such as Kyojinbyo, Soltic, Scum Blast, Beni Tsubaki, Gestapo, and a few others, G-10 were among the most significant exponents of the Chiba hardcore scene in the late 80s and early 90s. Their style is dark and violent hardcore with raspy vocals, in pure Japanese tradition. LP with OBI strip, bonus 7″ with extra unreleased studio recordings. Includes 20 page full colored booklet with an exhaustive selection of rare photos and scans of the original cassettes. Solid black vinyl limited to 250 copies. Label: F.O.A.D.
  • After awakening from the crypts pioneering Japanese Death/Thrash hordes such as MESSIAH DEATH, CRUCIFIXION and early VOIDD - it's the turn of GAMVETTA, the evil entity that preceeded TRANSGRESSOR in 1989. This stuff is so scarcerly circulated that you'll barely find it mentioned on a footnote on Transgressor's page on Metal Archives. ..another journey through the vaults of the most incredible underground rarities! A mysterious and totally undiscovered jewel of 80’s Japanese Metal from the Hokuriku area only known in the most diehard circles of tape-trading maniacs. This “Demo 1986” collection is all focused on their early recordings, blending a NWOBHM influenced approach with some serious Sortilège worship and a speed metal touch. It includes the following works: debut demotape 1986 and 2 unreleased studio tracks 1987. Links: their drummer Yano Angel later joined the rocking hardcore punk unit called BLANQUISME known for a demo and a 7″ (1989). LP with OBI strip, bonus CD with extended contents and a stunning 16 page booklet full of photos and scans of the rare original demotape. Disclaimer: just as for many other Japanese Metal bands of that era (Rommel, Mein Kampf, Rosenfeld etc…) you will notice a recurring use of controversial symbols in the band’s photos and artworks. Quoting HELL BOUND themselves: “In the 80’s Japanese scene it was mostly used to enhance the shocking factor without any political references. Some of you may also find some connection to this imagery in our lyrics: actually, we were trying to express our contempt towards the mistakes made by the Nazis, but our English was poor and easily misunderstood. Later on we stopped using those symbols in our artworks because we thought it was wrong, despite the shocking value. We are firmly opposed Nazism and any form of discrimination.” Black vinyl limited to 150. (F.O.A.D. Records)

Black vinyl limited to 150. In conjunction with the reissue of their “Demo 1986” on LP, it was mandatory to also provide the deserved F.O.A.D. treatment to “Norwegian forest“, the band’s final opus from 1989, considered as their full length album but only released on a very limited cassette version up to now… If their previous recordings were leaning towards a NWOBHM influenced sound often pushing the boundaries to speed metal gallops, “Norwegian forest” shows their style progressing to more gloomy and occult territories, sounding like the perfect hell-match between Mercyful Fate inspired atmospheres and the intensity of traditional Japanese heavy metal! Powered by a solid production and the outstanding vocals of Junichi Mori, “Norwegian forest” is a flawless hidden gem of 80’s Rising Sun heavy metal all to be discovered. This special F.O.A.D. version includes the complete “Norwegian forest” studio session for the first time on vinyl and a bonus CD with extended contents (7x additional live tracks). Solid black vinyl ltd to 500 copies. Double LP + CD + DVD + book + extra casewrapped box. A work of love and dedication, the result of an incredible journey from the F.O.A.D. headquarters to a remote country-town in the middle of the Hokkaidō island, northern Japan, to meet the band members and put together the most exhaustive collection of all their available recordings, spanning from 1985 to 1987. Here you get the ultra-complete discography of HUMAN GAS, including a lot of unreleased material… Musically, this is some of the rawest and most violent Hardcore ever spawned from the darkest lairs of the ’80s Japanese underground. Tracks from the split 7″ with Stali Nism (1985), “Noice and Hardcore” 1st Demo (1986), “Explosives” 2nd Demo (1986), tracks from “Street Punk in Obihiro” Omnibus tape (1986), “Lack luster” 3rd Demo + extra studio songs (1987), unreleased studio jam session with members of Human Gas + Stali Nism + Middle Class (1987). Plus there’s an extra CD with a soundboard live take from 1986 that sounds killer, assorted live recordings 1986-1987 and an instrumental version of their cult Demo “Explosives“. And to complete the massacre, you’ll also find a DVD with two complete live sets (their only gig in Sapporo, “Bessie Hall“, 1987 and one in Obihiro’s “Rocking Hall“, 1987) showing these raging maniacs in action. 79 TRACKS!! All this mastered from 1st generation sources provided by the band, transferred and restored with total care and attention to detail at Toxic Basement Studio. Trifold jacket housed in a casewrapped outer boxset, 24 page full colored booklet with loads of rare photos, flyers, memorabilia and some brief liner notes put together talking with the band members. Named after a Kuro song, Human Gas were the most destructive and iconic Northern Japan’s answer to the noisy and violent Noise/Punk scene that was growing in the opposite side of the country with bands like Gai, Confuse and Kuro themselves! Add the fact that their songs were more structured, solid and as the title of this anthology suggests: violent. The Hokkaidō area is definitely one of the most fascinating and mysterious when it comes to early pioneers of the Japanese Hardcore panorama… L.S.D., 畜生, Slang, Tranquillizer, Deef, , F.U.P., Gaizin, Napalm, Noise-Decay and many more were all based there. Human Gas still stands as one of the most respected names for their genuine anger and the highly original and influential musical approach. (F.O.A.D. Records)

Raw, uncompromised nihilism from Chile’s premier fuzzed out hardcore punks! After multiple cassette only releases and 2 x 7″s here’s their first time on 12″… 13 tracks of snotty angry punk blending the simplistic in-your-face aggression of typical Latino-American taste with a noisy distorted approach recalling 80’s Japanese and British classics (Gai, Confuse, Chaos UK, Disorder). IGNORANTES stands above as one of the current gems of punk, their sound and attitude are totally spontaneous and out of the guts, without any ambition or intention. Quoting the singer Gabriel: “In the beginning we didn’t even try to go out and play. The idea was just to record once and that was it. Then we enjoyed the process of recording six or eight songs and that’s how it all started.” LP with large 6-panel foldout insert and lyric sheet. Black vinyl limited to 350 copies. (F.O.A.D. Records)
  • Official reissue of the 2 cult demotapes of this insanely fast thrash horde hailing from Sicily! – “Mass genocide” (1987) – “Live into the crematorium” (1986) One of the many underrated gems of the Italian death-core scene of the 80s, not far from the maniacally fast style of their fellow countrymen Schizo but recommended even to fans of the golden years of Cogumelo Rec.! Highly original song structures where energy, speed and melody embrace each other in an outstanding visionary vibe. Quoting MRR: “Non-stop intensity comes from this longtime Italian outfit.
