• The split kicks off with the very strange yet incredibly interesting Bastard Noise side of things, whose music is basically a mishmash of powerviolence, noisecore, ambient and electronic music. It’s definitely unique as far as most bands go and this split incorporates all of the above in 4 tracks of brutal noise. It’s mid paced and has a lot of tempo changes and different music elements and it’s not what you’d expect, which is never a bad thing. I full enjoyed this side of the split. Moving on to the B-side of the split, Lack of Interest has always tickled my fancy with their fast, filthy and crushing music with a classic feel. It’s all or nothing with these guys and it blasts you to fuck from the word go. It’s most definitely powerviolence done right and it fucking rips into you without any remorse. The songs have a strong misanthropic theme, which tie into drugs and inner-city issues, much like Despise You. It rips to shit and has that old school hardcore sound to it, which definitely reminds me of years past. I would highly recommend this split to fans of Despise You, Man is the Bastard, Infest, Neanderthal, Siege and Spazz. (Deep Six Records)
  • This is it! The best EXTORTION record! Their first full length, finally available again on vinyl. This is a masterpiece of modern powerviolence and in my opinion one of the best Australian hardcore LPs of all time. Don’t miss out on it this time round! Absolutely Essential! Extortion is a Hardcore Punk band from Perth, Western Australia. I absolutely love the vocals. if you like bands like Siege, Infest, Crossed Out, Negative fx, Poison Idea, Nailed Down, Dwarves, No Comment, then this band is for you. • Arguably the most potent musical force Australian music has seen in the last couple years, Perth's EXTORTION are set to launch a fresh attack on the senses with their latest balls-out thrash incursion, "loose screws". A 12 track effort pushes EXTORTION's well-established power-violence sound to face-ripping new extremes. Recorded across 3 continents, the basic tracks were laid down in California by producer Dan Rathbun (Tragedy, His Hero is Gone, Talk Is Poison), then completed vocals in Perth. As one final flourish, UK-based celebrity EXTORTION fan, Barney of NAPALM DEATH, added his unmistakable roar to the aptly titled "grind to a halt". (Deep Six Records / Draw Blank Records)

New collection of totally 70 tracks of 7"s, 5"es, split 7"es, split LP with Cold World, Demo tracks and some unreleased tunes. Extortion set out to make ears bleed pure powerviolence that worships at the altar of bands like Crossed Out, Neanderthal and Infest. Their songs whip up into a frenzy of blast beats and growls and slow down into agonizing sludge bits. Limited to 200 copies. (Regurgitated Semen Records)

    INFEST | demo 1987 | LP

    14.00 incl. tax

Finally the entire 20 track 1987 demo on vinyl. It contained the demo plus rehearsal tracks. The demo has a great raw sound, and Joe's vocals are more psychotic and manic sounding than on the LP. Folded out sleeve printed recto-verso. Recorded at Waterbury's Studio 7-5-87.

  • INFEST | slave | LP

    16.00 incl. tax

Infest are a southern California Legend. They can be credited to almost inventing a genre (power violence), and just played the hardest, heaviest, fastest hardcore punk you'd yet to hear. LP includes lyrics on a huge pull-out poster featuring some classic band photos 18 songs of pure violence. Originally released on Off the Disk Records (out of Switzerland)/Draw Blank Records (Infest's own label) in 1988. An absolute all-time classic.
    (Off The Discs Records/Unoffical)

  • Lifewreck started in 2012, in 2014 they self released their EP cotaining 8 songs called "Aggravation". On the early 2017, the band hit the studio to record 13 new songs for their first full length album. Within this new recording, you will be able to spot an intense chance of their style which progressed  from raw powerviolence with ripping in grind style vocals to more of early US hardcore sound blended with nowadays US sound with real great match delay on vocals. The songs are still short and aggressive but more restrained with 2-3 exceptions. Limited to 300 copies. (Scarecrow Records)
  • Low Threat Profile was formed in the mid 90′s by a bunch of musicians with a long history in the Californian Power Violence hardcore scene of the early 90′s. Matt, Bob and Andy. Infest, Neanderthal, Lack Of Interest, No Comment, Man Is The Bastard in one band!! This is superfast punishing Hardcore mixing the simple and effective punchintheface impact of early 80s HC bands like Negative FX, DRI, Verbal Abuse, Jerry's Kids and the power violent treatment each of this band's members is specialized in. Short ultrafast and loud assault at its most destructive form! The songs got recorded way back in 2000, and the vocals in 2010. (Deep Six Records / Draw Blank Records)
  • This blistering bit of czech fastcore is the perfect musical whirlwind to redirect any of your bubbling anger into. 20 tunes in barely 18 minutes is ultra-breezy for an actual full length album but this stuff is a pure concentrate of rage without any boring extra filling so you shouldn't feel short-changed. I'm guessing 22 minutes is probably the average length for a Lycanthrophy liveset! The female vocals bring about undeniable appeal, this lady's bloodcurdling shrieks are definitely impressive and her range of screaming rage suits me perfectly (not as shrill as most female grind vocalists I've heard so far!). You're also getting pissed off male back-up barking as well. Crushingly fast and sharp drum blasts, a massive barrage of grinding riffs with a thick, heavy low-tuned guitar sound, just solid, steadily grinding songs; this stuff is maybe going too fast to truly make a lasting impression, this is a spur of the moment, speed-ball of frenzy going at a hundred miles an hour, so a lot of the songs kind of blur together for me. The band is maybe guilty of overkilling it with the breakdown effect too, with the sound completely fading out/cutting off, I usually dig this stuff but it can get a little gimmicky at times... The sound production is very polished and very impactful. It could also use some more rawness in my opinion but otherwise I think I'll keep this cd handy to put on whenever I feel a little stressed out. This is clearly some of the most effective and fastest, screaming type of grind out there! I'm really digging the artwork, and there's an alternate black and white cover art plus a complete lyrics sheet in english language (and the vocals actually seem to stick to the lyrics closely, most of the time!) Sick cover art handled by SF&L homie Jeff Metal Sayers from WASTOID. The Limited repress contains one bonustrack.

  • The back story on this one is way too long to get into, so let's just cut to the chase. This is an 2005 re-recording of the 1992 original recording that was lost by the studio. Drumming by RD Davies and guitars/vocals by Matt Domino (both of INFEST fame). There are 17 tracks on this release. Similar bands or musical genres: INFEST, LOW THREAT PROFILE, and WEEKEND NACHOS. Cover art by Extortion vocalist Rohan. (Deep Six Records / Draw Blank Records)

The final full-length release by this unholy trio from California. For those who have no idea, SPAZZ were the undisputed kings of west coast power-violence in the '90s. They took the sound pioneered by bands like CROSSED OUT and NO COMMENT and added a unique blend of self-referential humor to create a hilarious but brutal genre. While most power-violence is an amlagamation of slow moshy-parts mixed with blastbeat insanity, SPAZZ's final studio album (from 1998) forgoes a lot of the slow parts and gets straight to the killing. Mastered from the original recording. (625 Thrashcore Records))
  • SPINE | time has gone | LP

    13.00 incl. tax
After almost 2 years in the making, the debut SPINE LP is here at last. 14 songs of pure muscle including a new and improved re-recorded demo track. While the previous SPINE material was slightly more Boston HC influenced, this material heads more in the direction of INFEST and YOUTH OF TODAY while still retaining that SSD flavor. Don't miss out on SPINE'S best record to date...this shit will tear you apart. (Assault Records)

Αντιλαμβανόμαστε την D.I.Y. κρατάμε τη D.I.Y.

  • Like a punch in the face and the whole body being shaken. This is what the new record of WEAK TIES sounds like… WEAK TIES is a four piece band from Bielefeld, Germany. In their second album “Find a Way” they diverged from the initial power violence of previous releases and turned to a well done stop-and-go hardcore punk. The album is aggressive, tense, uncompromising and cut to the core. The guitar sound is rather clean and scrappy and blends in perfectly with the overall sound and the blast beats tend to give way to groovier drum rhythms. The riffs screw their way into your brain like parasites and the grooves are as clever as they are blunt, think of early CEREMONY or even BLACK FLAG. “Sorry, Not Today Pt. II” and the two short guitar interludes “I” and “II” add another dimension and form a counterweight to faster songs. The band has distilled and compressed their sound: the songs are much more controlled, on all levels, and thus gain immensely in impact. Laura’s vocals seem a bit more aggressive because they are more mature than ever and the lyrics are hitting where it hurts. WEAK TIES cut a good figure next to bands like PUNCH or COCAINE PISS, something that can’t be taken for granted these days. THIS IS PUNK! (Contraszt! Records)
