Out of stockWhen the punks go marching in" is the 1982 debut album by punk legends Abrasive Wheels. Hailing from Leeds, the band were seldom out of the Independent charts between 1980 and 1984 when the band split. It's a very youthful-sounding album, littered with barely concealed influences (the "Holidays in the Sun" guitar on "First Rule [No Rule]" is a dead giveaway), but there's no denying either the quality or the fervency of the music and, by the time you hit the title track, a partial take on the old "When the Saints Go Marching In," exhaustion is the least of your emotions. For fans of CHRON GEN, THE PARTISANS and CHAOS UK. (Puke n Vomit Records)

Out of stockOriginally released in 1983 on Fallout Records. Their debut album gets its first ever worldwide reissue thanks to Puke n Vomit Records. Amazing catchy blistering Punk with great Post-Punk elements makes this one of the coolest 80s UK Punk albums ever. Originating from Essex, the band formed in 1980 and quickly grew in popularity in part from their energetic performances and catchy songs and the presence of exuberant vocalist Alison ‘George Cheex’ Roberts, Their debut single a split with Dead Mans Shadow was released in 1981, that lead to them getting some seriously heavy BBC airplay courtesy of DJ John Peel. This was followed by their 'Suicide Bag' 7' on Fallout in 1982 and that single quickly climbed the UK Indie charts. When the LP 'Mercury Theatre - On The Air!' was released in 1983 it climbed all the way to #5 on the indie charts. (Puke n Vomit Records)

Out of stockReleased a year after their much hearled debut album 'Voice of a Generation' , 'Second Empire Justice' features half the members from the original line-up and with a new sound. While initially being an Oi!/Skinhead Punk band, on 'Second Empire Justice' they not only changed members and their look but also their sound and released a Post-Punk classic with a heavy dose of Joy Division worship, produced by Chris Nagle. While Nagle had also produced their debut album, he had also engineered the Joy Division and New Order albums under Martin Hannett and had also engineered various other post punk albums of the day from the likes of The Durutti Column, A Certain Ratio and Magazine. Together the band and Nagle created a masterpiece while not appreciated at the time, especially by their original skinhead/Oi! fanbase. The album would go onto influence tons of post-punk/darkwave bands that sprouted from the ashes of punk/hardcore bands decades later and become one of the most sought after albums of the golden age of post-punk.. So sit back and listen to these beautiful moody haunting guitars, dancing basslines and emotionally fragile vocals all the while retaining a punk ferocity. For Fans of : Joy Division, Magazine, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, Killing Joke, The Middle Class Limited repress on Puke n Vomit Records, comes with a huge poster of the cover art. (Puke n Vomit Records)

Out of stockRaw, violent and catchy, Blitz's 1982 debut album sounded like a shot of pure rock and roll through the violence of the English working class. Made up by two punks and two skinheads, with a lot to say about violence and football, Blitz appealed to all kinds of lowlifes, who finally had a voice for their generation. Total classic. Unreleased, alternate mix of their legendary 1983 album taken from the original tapes. Fast and furious, early '80s, Southern California hardcore. The original album is now considered a pioneering classic of American hardcore for its lyrics dealing with teenage frustration and angst, along with such bands as Suicidal Tendencies and Black Flag. "CIRCLE ONE is a band I only know through their reputation—and through stories of singer John Macias being killed by police at the age of 29. It’s Macias’s vocals which are the most interesting component of this reissue. Atop mid-tempo to fast SoCal hardcore, Macias sings with way more theatrics than I expected, reminding me of Jello on late DEAD KENNEDYS stuff, or, alternately, Jack Grisham of TSOL." Reviewer Michael T. Fournier MRR #460 • September 2021 (Puke n Vomit Records)

Out of stockC2D came out of the Vat. The Vats was an abandoned brewery where people squated and bands rehearsed/formed, along with the Sluglords/C2D it was also home to MDC and DRI....imagine getting to hear those bands each week for free!! Condemned to Death formed in San Francisco in early '83 Keith Chatham (bass) completed the lineup of a bassless band rehearsing in the Vats. The other members were Eddie Morgan (vocals), Tim Nelson (guitar), Mike Chubka (drums). They released a demo, one 7'' and this excellent, uncompromising slab of hardcore. Just as they were recording this album singer Eddie decided to leave the band and the album was completed with the addition of Scott Wilkins, as well as some songs being sung by the remaining members. This lineup wasn't destined to last a long time as Keith moved to Australia and joined Death Sentence/Vicious Circle, Mike and Scott joined fellow Vats band Verbal Abuse and Tim to the Serial Killers. All these bands releases are worth tracking down. This will be the first official repress/reissue of their popular 1984 LP originally on Land Mine/ R Radical Records and features future members of Verbal Abuse. (Puke n Vomit Records)
