AA defines an active band with plenty tours in their backsack. Releasing vinyl after vinyl, cassette on US-label and mostly tearing it down into sweat, adrenaline and instant smiles in the pit, Monument Records are privileged to be on the run since the start with Green Menace Records. The latter, and most frequent teamplayer, turned to Adult Crash: Denmark's finest.
Here we are talking fast hardcore of the old school with clear USHC tendencies from all the wonderful 80's. Dirty, bloody and raw quickly, just as it was intended from the very beginning. Frustration, anxiety and cheeky middle finger recorded on a twelve inch of plastic. It does not get much more punk than this.
For fans of: Battalion Of Saints, Black Flag, Minor Threat, early Suicidal Tendencies, Jerry’s Kids, Bl’ast, Circle Jerks....like “Totalitär, Bl’ast, SSD and Black Flag raised a baby together”.

REPRESSED! Their "demo" cd hit me by surprise and I really couldn't refuse to put this out! These folks come from Gothenburg in lovely Sweden and deliver the goods! The demo (minus 1 song though) that you'll find on this black piece of vinyl hold 4 times thundering death and black metal soaked doom, with hints of crust, as well as atmospheric and epic darkness. The guitars range from devastating heaviness to gloomy acoustic sections, with piercing leads that flash through the darkness every now and then. If you've ever wanted to know exactly how your favourite metal, crust, and doom bands would have sounded like if they were one band this is where you should turn. I won't namedrop anything, just ask you to take me on my word that you really need to check this out if you've been even the slightest intrigued with what's written above. Even though I could drop many influential names, as well as list several of your favourite Swedish crustcore bands in the "members of" department. (Kleister) (Skuld Records)
  • The wait was long, but now it's ready! A dignified follow-up of their first album! An intense Dolp from this dark crust band from Gothenburg. I haven't really enough words to describe this brutal yet twisted attack on my eardrums. Eight songs in just over 72 minutes(!) of death and blackmetal gloom with a healthy dose of crust punk influences leaving me speechless. The Double Lp comes in a beautiful gatefold with a foldout insert. CD version is being released in the US by Profane Existence. (Skuld Records)
  • White vinyl. Anchor is a hardcore band with members spread out all over Scandinavia, yet keeping up a relentless tour schedule, always with an urge to do and see more. I’ve know these guys for years and have the deepest respect for their message, passion, and integrity so I’m amped to have them on the label. Recovery is Anchor's second full length, and the band’s debut release on React! records. This is the North American version of the album, with the European version already out on Refuse Records. Call it 90's hardcore if you will, and you might be right, but there are hints here and there of the Scandinavian heritage. Weather it's a catchy melody a'la Millencolin, or a crushing riff flirting more with the Swedish death metal scene than anything else, Anchor is bringing it all together nicely on this LP. • Political Vegan Straight Edge Hardcore from Sweden. It's definitely one of the highlights of the Swedish HC scene in recent years, consist past and current members of such rad bands like DAMAGE CONTROL, SET MY PATH, SMACKDOWN, ANOTHER YEAR or GERILJA. Their sound is influenced by 90's sXe hardcore bands like Trial, Unbroken, Mouthpiece or Refused, but it can also appeal for fans of such current bands like Verse or Haveheart. They're definitely on their own terms with the sound and their message of compassion and awareness. Hard-working band with impressive amount of the shows on their backs. They can ranks high among the best european hardcore acts right now! (Refuse Records)
  • From the ashes of Damage Control (Livewire Rec) and Set My Path comes ANCHOR! • It's with great pleasure that we announce the Swedish raw punk legends ANTI CIMEX have finally reached the joyful lands of Agipunk. On this record we're collecting in chronological order all the demos and the studio recording sessions that haven't been released on any official release so far. A total of 29 tracks that originally appeared on "K.A.A.S January 1982", "K.A.A.S April 1982", "En Produkt Av Dagens Skitsamhälle" tapes plus the studio session right before the "Raped Ass" 7" EP and the discarded recordings for the full length that never saw the light and eventually became the "Victims Of A Bomb Raid" 7" EP. All you Cimex maniacs out there probably already know most of the songs, but you'll definitely find a bunch of extremely obscure tracks which I bet you've never heard before. All the tracks come from the original tapes and the sound has been restored and remastered by Lasse at Ballade Studio in Copenhagen. 1000 copies pressed (500 on Agippunk and 500 on Sonarize Rec.), super detailed insert full of informations and anedoctes. • Swedish punk legends ASTA KASK are celebrating their 40 year anniversary with the release of "historien dömer oss alla ("history will judge us all), along with reissues of 3 classic records. ASTA KASK have succeeded with something very few bands from the first wave of swedish punk have: to maintain their fans while still making their way into the hearts of young punks. The new record "historien dömer oss alla" consist of 4 songs that brings up hate, fear and the normalization of surreptitious racism that is spreading around the globe. The material covers the different strengths of the bands longevity: the speed of 2-beat drums, echos of raw 80's chord progression and the never ending thirst for singalong-friendly melodies. Limited to 1000 copies on black vinyl. Poster of cover and digital download card included. (Gaphals Records) https://gaphals.bandcamp.com/album/asta-kask-historien-d-mer-oss-alla

  • BAD NERVE | lost ones | LP

    15.00 10.00 incl. tax
Bad Nerve is the brainchild of Jonas Lyxzen whom, if you know your history, has been a part of a bunch of classic Umeå bands like Abhinanda, Separation, DS-13, Insurgent Kid and so on. Jonas is joined by Melody Almroth (from the local band Trots) on bass and vocals and new comer Mårten Bläckberg on Vocals and Guitar. They've already managed to do a short european tour in 2014, a China tour in 2015 and they've released a criminally underrated 7" on Ny våg Ny Våg and also a split 7" with Fanzui Xiangfa from China. Both these were released in 2014. Now they are back with a full-length album called The Lost Ones. 14 tracks of simple yet innovative and catchy punkrock that mirrors both the Umeå tradition and classic american Hardcore like Zero Boys, Bad Brains and Wipers. (Luftslott Records / Ny Våg Records)
  • Sweden’s Burning Kitchen started in the 90ties and play a development of aggressive melodic punk sound with female voice that inspired a whole generation of Scandinavian bands to come, ranging from MASSHYSTERI, GORILLA ANGREB, TERRIBLE FEELINGS and VANNA INGET to American bands like ARCTIC FLOWERS and SIGNAL LOST. You get kick ass punkrock with great political lyrics! (Alerta Antifascista Records)
  • Another reissue of a cold war era hc/punk classic and the arrow aims again at Scandinavia, this time to the neighbouring country – Sweden. Early 80’s saw several bands emerging from here that were more or less drawing on DISCHARGE, but mostly went even more hardcore. We’re talking about ANTI CIMEX among the first, then also about AVSKUM, MOB 47, MODERAT LIKVIDATION, DISARM and – of course – about CRUDE SOCIETY SYSTEM. Apart from a demo and numerous compilation tracks CRUDE SS officially released just one 7” EP. This appeared in 1983 on Uproar Records and has become an undisputed classic of Swedish hardcore. It carries six blasting tracks of unique, aggressive and furious hardcore punk thrash with clear roots in DISCHARGE, GBH and UK punk in genreral, but also with obvious influence of Californian CRUCIFIX etc. Raw sound, elaborated yet still straight-forward riffs completed with angry English lyrics against arms race, capitalism, animal abuse or destruction of nature. If you’re wondering where did such bands like MASSKONTROLL or FRAMTID get inspiration from, you should listen to this EP. Coming out after 28 years as a band-authorised official reissue, its whole layout sticks as close as possible to the original issue, including such details as runout groove engravings or typing errors on labels. (Radiation Records)
  • The first full length release on Havoc! DS 13 was my favorite band during the Y2K thrash revival and I was stoked when they told me they would like for me to do their second LP. This LP was recorded at a top studio in Stockholm, has a full color cover and insert, comes on color vinyl and features original cover art by Pushead himself. DS 13's sound on this LP is similar to the last LP, the sound has progressed (regressed) into a more early 80's raw thrash sound. The guitars are less distorted and grindy sounding than the early releases. This gives the album a sort of raw intensity that allows the songwriting and energy to come out full force rather than behind a wall of distorted noise. I would compare DS 13 to early 80's HC bands like Minor Threat, Poison Idea and such, but I really feel they have a distinct hardcore sound all their own. In the years since it's release this LP has become something of a modern classic and remains one of our top sellers. (Havoc Records)

Recorded and mixed by Ulf Blomberg at Hobo Rec/The End Studios. Mastered by Will Killingsworth at Dead Air Studios.Artwork by Isabell Kirstinä. • DISCARD were a swedish D-Beat, Hardcore band active in the Early / Mid Eighties influenced by MOB 47, ANTI-CIMEX and DISCHARGE. On this split you can find the material from the "Condemned To Oppression" 1985 demo and the "Sound Of War" 1986 demo. NYX NEGATIV from Sweden were only active from 1981 till later 1986, they made more up tempo melodic Punk, in the vein of rawer ASTA KASK, not the typical D-Beat of that time. Their side of this split release offers thirteen songs from the 1983 demo. (New Prejudice a2o Records)
  • Reissued again. Here's some classic d-beat tunes from a pioneering band for the d-beat swedish punk (or Käng). Discard was formed in early/mid 80's and members were involved with bands such as Mob 47 & Protest Bengt (Åke, Chrille) and Agoni (Per). They were one of the first bands that gave breath to the Discharge worship in the Swedish scene the latter years. Death from Above EP was released by Jesus Kudd records in 1990 and was much later re-released by Rodel Records and it consists of six dis-tracks coming straight outta the Discharge recordings of the "Hear nothing..." era, nothing more or less than that. Discard had also a demo tape from 1985 (where all the tracks coming from), the Four Minutes past Midnight full length and contributed tracks in Really Fast Vol 3 compilation. (7inchcrust.blogspot.cz). This 2015 reissue comes in a nice screen printed folder out sleeve. (Insane Society Records) https://insanesocietyrecords.bandcamp.com/album/discard-death-from-above-ep
  • Comes in 350 gram inside/out sleeve with 400 gram lyric sheet and 180 gram vinyl! There is no need for any introduction with a band like DISFEAR! With a DIS in the name is very clear what these dudes are about: on "A Brutal Sight Of War" they deliver nine tracks of Discharge-ish d-beat crust hardcore with harsh toxic vocals, discore riffs and fast tempos. The record contains both, their "s/t" EP from 1992 and the all-time classic "A Brutal Sight Of War" EP from 1993! Finally, after 14 years available on vinyl again through La Familia Releases! Finally a re-release of this classic album. Adding ENTOMBED guitarist Uffe Cederlund to a group that already features AT THE GATES singer Tomas Lindberg has created a death 'n' roll supergroup - and one of the best heavy records of 2008. For those who are unfamiliar with DISFEAR, it is basically a mix of a lot of hardcore with a lot of metal to create a product that is simply loud, in your face and unrelenting. "live the storm" is a 35min. assault of heavy power chords, pounding drums and bass, layered with southern sounding leads and throat wrenching yells. (La Familia Releases)
  • Black vinyl! The record comes in a nice heavy cardboard gatefold. Those not familiar with Disfear should be ashamed of themselves - you probably have been hiding under a rock for more than 25 years. Starting out as yet another Discharge inspired Dis-band from Sweden, they released a monumental debut album back in 1992 along with producer Tomas Skogsberg. In the years, Disfear became one of the only real survivors of the Dis-scene, and even though many line-up changes plagued the band, they kept on going until they left Osmose Records in 1998 - at which point they had incorporated ex-At the Gates vocalist Tomas Lindberg in the band. Instead of calling it quits, the band had five years to work on new material, and Relapse made them an offer they couldn't refuse, resulting in "Misanthropic Generation". Swedish hardcore in its purest form, "Misanthropic Generation" is a maturation, modernization and perfection of Discharge's music from back in the '80s. With a blazing pace, Entombed-ish guitar/bass riffing meeting the banshee vocalism of Tomas, supported by wickedly groovy Motorhead-style drumming - masturbation for the mind, one might call it. Well adapted to the sound of the new millennium, the twelve songs on this album (mostly clocking around three minutes) are a firm reminder of the past as well as an excellent look into the future of hardcore: "Misanthropic Generation" is a must-have for those who loved Discharge way back as well as those who claim to have an interest in the Swedish hardcore scene. (La Familia Releases)
