1919 are a post-punk band formed in Bradford, England in early 1980. Reissued on vinyl for the very first time since its initial release , the classic 1983 album gets a re-master from the band themself's. The Machine LP was heavily inspired by Conrad’s Heart of Darkness, and the theme of alienation is prominent in the band’s oeuvre. If you are a huge fan of deathrock or dark punk--you have to own this--you won't be disappointed! (Restless Empire Records)

  • Containing the hits that were only deemed misses by the critics that condemned Oi! as some kind of subcultural fad that favoured football and violence way above the bloody good tunes that should by rights occupy the higher rank, 4 Skins, The Unreleased Radio & Studio Sessions encapsulates that energy at its finest. From formidable swarms of police brutality and political injustice, the underlying (and unyielding) socio-political messages experienced from the streets that resonated with every estranged clockwork skinhead of the day are bound to be ticked on every track. After the atmospheric crash of One Law for Them, dropped in amongst the Radio and blistering Bumper Sessions with Evil sitting squarely in its unpolished centre is the ska-inflected gallop of Seems To Me, an unreleased tune reinforcing the notion that there was more to Oi! than meets the laces. 40x30 cm folded poster included, 1-5: Recorded in July 1981 for radio session that was never broadcast. 6-7: Unreleased single, due to be issued in 1983 (Secret SHH 149). 8-12: Recorded at Bumper Studios in January 1981. 13: Demo. • Hailing from Leeds, England and by far the biggest punk band from the area they were seldom out of the Independent charts between 1980 and 1984. Specialising in the sort of massive rowdy choruses that could put an ear-to-ear smile on the face of a dead man. Like so many of those intense bands of the time, their fire burnt brightly for just a relatively short time, but the shadows it cast, and the colourful musical legacy they bestowed the punk scene, were both important and influential! • Previously unreleased two John Peel sessions and a David Jensen session – 16 tracks. Action Pact were a punk rock band from Stanwell, an isolated village right under the flight-path of London Heathrow Airport, inspiring this album title-song. Formed in 1981 by guitarist Wild Planet, bassist & lyricist Dr. Phibes, and the then 15-year-olds drummer Joe Fungus and singer George Cheex, still school-kids when their Heathrow Touchdown EP was released in October 1981. BBC Radio 1 DJ John Peel played the single many times and booked them for their first session, recorded February 1982. Signed to Jungle’s Fall Out Records imprint, Action Pact's label debut Suicide BagEP went to the top of the British punk chart in July 1982. Five more singles entered the indie charts including Yet Another Dole Queue Song, and a reworked London Bouncers, along with two albums, ‘Mercury Theatre – On The Air’ and ‘Survival of the Fattest’. A second John Peel session in ‘82 and a David Jensen BBC session in ’83 were also recorded and broadcast – all collected together here for the first time. Inner bag with notes, interviews & photos by Mick Mercer who attended a session. Limited red vinyl. Includes an unheard song. ‘Mostly better than released versions’. • Originally released in 1983 on Fallout Records. Their debut album gets its first ever worldwide reissue thanks to Puke n Vomit Records. Amazing catchy blistering Punk with great Post-Punk elements makes this one of the coolest 80s UK Punk albums ever. Originating from Essex, the band formed in 1980 and quickly grew in popularity in part from their energetic performances and catchy songs and the presence of exuberant vocalist Alison ‘George Cheex’ Roberts, Their debut single a split with Dead Mans Shadow was released in 1981, that lead to them getting some seriously heavy BBC airplay courtesy of DJ John Peel. This was followed by their 'Suicide Bag' 7' on Fallout in 1982 and that single quickly climbed the UK Indie charts. When the LP 'Mercury Theatre - On The Air!' was released in 1983 it climbed all the way to #5 on the indie charts. (Puke n Vomit Records)
  • This LP compiles the only two singles from Scottish punk legends Actives, recorded in 1983 and 1984. Their brand of fast, noisy punk rock found them sharing stages with the biggest bands of the era like The Exploited, The Adicts, and Abrasive Wheels. (Puke n Vomit Records)

First ever reissue of Alternative TV’s "Action Time Vision", compiled in 1980 and featuring the group’s 7“es from 1977 to 1979. Including bonus track "You Bastard" and new liner notes by ATV singer Mark Perry, the founding editor of punk fanzine Sniffin' Glue. What Mark Perry says: "It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that Punk turned my world upside down! In July 1976, after hearing and seeing the Ramones, I went from just another music fan, avid reader of the NME and Melody Maker, to become editor of punk’s premier fanzine, Sniffin’ Glue. It was almost an instant success and by December 1976, through our no nonsense approach, our position as the ‘punk Bible’ was assured. But it was never enough for me. As I saw the initial punk explosion subside into a succession of third-rate copycats, I wanted to have a go myself. My first attempt at forming a band was in late ’76. We called ourselves the ‘New Beatles’ and it ended after a couple of rehearsals. It wasn’t until I met guitarist Alex Fergusson, a mate of Sounds writer Sandy Robertson, in early 1977, that I started putting together some more interesting ideas for a band. I worked on a bunch of lyrics and, pretty quickly, Alex had put tunes to them. Eventually calling ourselves Alternative TV, we had our first rehearsals at Throbbing Gristle’s Industrial Studios in March ’77. That initial line-up was just me singing and Alex on guitar, with Genesis P-Orridge helping out on some bass and drums. We did ask Gen to join fulltime, but he decided against it and stuck with Throbbing Gristle. After more rehearsals, we played our first gig at the Nottingham Punk Festival in May 1977, joined by Mick Smith on bass and John Towe (ex-Generation X) on drums. I started thinking about doing a record almost from the start because, by this time, I was running the Step Forward record label with Miles Copeland, who was also to become the band’s manager. It seemed like a natural move to put out my own record, but it instead ended up on Deptford Fun City, another of Miles’ labels. Before that actually happened, we made a slight detour by recording a demo for EMI. They didn’t want to sign us, but we did end up with the tapes…" (Staubgold Records)

Sealed Records re-issue the 1985 Alternative’s album If They Treat You Like Shit - Act Like Manure originally released on Corpus Christi Records. Recorded at Southern Studios and Co-produced by Pete Wright from Crass and featuring Annie Anxiety and Pete Wright on backing vocals. The album is full of provocative protest songs with intelligent lyrics, effective use of samples, melodic tunes and dual female / male vocals. It’s urgent, passionate and memorable. A must own release from that classic mid 80’s UK anarcho punk era. Remastered from the original tapes. Label: Sealed Records
  • THIS IS A PRE-ORDER! YOUR RECORD WILL SHIP ON/OR AROUND LATE JULY, THANKS! What Revolution? was originally recorded at Southern Studios for the album If They Treat You Like Shit - Act Like Manure on Corpus Christi but for some unknown reason it was dropped at the last minute for a live track. We asked the band about this and not one member could remember why but all admitted it was a massive mistake as What Revolution? Is classic Alternative. Impassioned and raging anarcho punk with duel female and male vocals. On the flip is two radically different mixes from the album of Another Subversive Peace Song and Love and life which have the guitar tones clean and give both tracks a fresher sound. The 7” comes housed in a Crass style Sleeve. Label: Sealed Records

A reissue of the third single on All the Madmen Records from 1980. The single was recorded at Spaceward Studios in Cambridge where The Mob, Swell Maps and Stiff little Fingers all recorded. Andy Stratton was a sixteen year old punk from Somerset who hung out with The Mob and the Yeovil punks. The drummer on this single was Graham Fallows who was still a member of The Mob at the time these two songs were recorded. Andy had never played a gig under his name but decided to go into a studio and record these two gems. I Don’t Know is a glorious punk pop nugget that has style and sass. Think a mix of the Buzzcocks’ Pete Shelley vocally Pete Fender’s only 7” Four Formulas (For The Eradication Of Microbes) and the early Good Vibrations records releases. The flip Evil Minds is a more laidback and bleak track that leans heavily on the influence of the Mob. After this 7” Andy went on to form the greatly under appreciated Null and Void. Comes with insert featuring an interview and a few pictures. Label: Sealed Records

A 44-track 2CD set covering every A and B-side issued by Punk legends Angelic Upstarts between 1978-85. Running in chronological order, it starts with the self released ‘The Murder Of Liddle Towers’ and is followed by the major label debut of ‘I’m An Upstart’ which hit No.31 in the UK charts. ‘Teenage Warning’ then hit No.29 and saw the band in the nation’s living rooms via their appearance on Top Of The Pops. A hat-trick of hits was completed when ‘Never ‘Ad Nothin’ hit No.52 in late 1979. The band moved into the 1980s with hits like ‘Out Of Control’ (No.58), ‘We Gotta Get Out Of This Place’ (No.58 and incredibly appearing here on CD for the first time in its original 7” version), ‘Last Night Another Soldier’ (No.65) and ‘Kids On The Street’ (No.57) before they switched to (then) newly established Independent label Anagram Records. The hits kept coming though: ‘Woman In Disguise’ reached No.18 in the Independent Chart, swiftly followed by a No.24 for ‘Solidarity’. Despite numerous disruptive line-up changes vocalist Mensi remained a constant throughout and achieved further notoriety with the No.14 ‘Machine Gun Kelly’ and the No.4 ‘Brighton Bomb’. Each of the 17 singles featured has a detailed history included in the booklet which is illustrated by the original sleeves. What started as a one off project for a bit of fun on the Fuzzbrain Records Compilation LP in 2019, quickly mutated into a fully fledged band made up of four UK heads with plenty under their collective belts: Ben Woolf (Blind Authority, Lawful Killing, Frame Of Mind, Stages in Faith, Layback), Bobby Cole (The Annihilated, Churchgoers), Jon Osbourne (Mastermind), and Ollie Hudd (Fortbragg Zine). When QC heard this ‘demo’ it was so in your face we just knew we had to put it on wax, because this blend of Krackdown and Outburst era NYHC with a still distinct London hardcore sound will blow your fuckin’ face off! Despite the obnoxious band’s reputation and the legal persecution that the group faced due to its obscene lyrics, the album remained No1 for many weeks in the independent charts and it became from its release day an instant UK Punk Rock Classic! Loaded with more piss and vinegar than one can almost handle in a single album, this is what most people think of when they think of classic Punk, the kind of Punk that frightened the squares, and parents and annoyed the authorities. The kind of album that throw on at a party and the house is sure to be destroyed by nights end. Label: Puke n Vomit

  • ARMS RACE unleash their debut album after a well-received 6-track demo in 2013 and a 6-track 7" EP in 2014 on Quality Control HQ and Painkiller. Arms Race arrived on the scene fully formed with their powerful and gnarly UK-meets-USA hardcore: their signature sound of a vocalist chewing on glass is backed by one of the most solid rhythm sections in HC these days, and the guitar work adds a metallic element making the whole sound gigantic while keeping the ugliness and aggression to the max. NWOBHC is a statement of no-frills hardcore that is not scared to reach out to different corners of the punk and metal world. (La Vida Es Un Mus Records) https://lavidaesunmus.bandcamp.com/album/new-wave-of-british-hardcore-lp
  • ARMS RACE follow up to their “New Wave Of British Hardcore” LP with four new tracks, which sees the band solidify their place as one of the strongest pillars of UK hardcore. Touring Europe and Japan since the release of the LP, these 4 new tracks are yet more proof of why the band leaves a trail of fans whenever they play. “The Beast” displays a ferocious hardcore attack with both boots firmly stuck on the hardcore and punk territories while looking forward to new soundscapes on which they evolve, such as on track 'Distort Britannia' that showcases a slowed down atmospheric stomper. Part classic USA Hardcore, part Bristol and Stoke On Trent punk, these new tracks are a perfect continuation of what the band has created during these last 5 years. The Beast comes housed in a pocket sleeve with artwork by bass player and LVEUM shitworker Nicky Rat and includes a lyric insert and download code. Formed by Edwin Pouncey in the Spring of 1977 “because there was a talent night at the Royal College Of Art”, their first gig ended (like so many of their other gigs) in a fight, to disguise their lack of material. Someone there offered them a gig for money so a set of 10 songs was quickly cobbled together. More gigs followed. Ricky Slaughter left to join The Motors, Robert Gotobed went to Wire and the line-up stabilised to include the nucleus of Edwin Pouncey, Steve Spear and Marion Fudger. A hippie guy and his stripper girlfriend who ran a record shop in the basement of Kensington Market decided to start a label and approached the Art Attacks. They released the 7,500 selling “I Am A Dalek” b/w “Neutron Bomb” single, but the relationship terminated when the stripper appeared on stage semi-naked and decided to whip an unamused Edwin. Their next foray into the studio was to record the classic “Arabs In ‘Arrads” for the first ever punk rock compilation album, “Streets” on Beggars Banquet. Suffering from stage fright, Edwin would only appear on-stage when inebriated. Each performance was unpredictable. Aside from the frequent fights, there was one occasion when Edwin climbed inside the kick drum and refused to perform, and once when he invited a tramp to ramble meaninglessly into the microphone, rather than sing himself. Tours with The Lurkers, Generation X, The Motors and Rock Against Racism followed, as did two live tracks “Animal Bondage” and “Frankenstein’s Heartbeat” on the “Live At The Vortex” album. The pressures of finishing their degrees terminated the band and the posthumous “Punk Rock Stars” b/w “Rat City” single was released. On 16th January 1979 the Art Attacks released their second and sadly posthumous single ‘First and Last’ on Fresh Records. The A side was “Punk Rock Stars” and featured the drumming of Robert Gotobed from Wire. The B side was “Rat City“. The A side was recorded in 1978 before they split in March of that year, while the B side was recorded in 1977. The artwork was designed by Edwin Pouncey aka Savage Pencil, lead singer of the band. After they split Edwin Pouncey, Marion Fudger and Steve Spear would form The Tagmemics who released one single ‘Chimneys’ on the Index label in 1980. Unquestionably a punk rock classic, the single is now highly collectable, has featured on many official and unofficial punk rock compilations and has been long overdue an official reissue so in 2022, in conjunction with the band, Overground Records have released a limited reissue of 500 copies on silver vinyl which losely reproduces the original sleeve and label artwork. This 13-track compilation features all their recorded tracks that appeared on vinyl, plus the post-Art Attacks project The Tagmemics single. Packaged in a sleeve designed by Edwin Pouncey (AKA Savage Pencil) there’s a bonus insert packed with information and memorabilia. Black vinyl edition of 250 copies. Label: Overground Records

Formed in 1981 by a crew of hardcore punx and skins from Stoke-on-Trent in the industrial Midlands of England, Asylum fully embraced the ‘Noise Not Music’ rallying call. The missing link between Discharge and Japanese Noisecore, their sound is characterised by detuned ear-piercing distortion: buzzsaw guitars, fuzzed bass, charging drums and gargled vocals battle each other in a maelstrom of lo-fi production murk that reflects the bleak outlook of their lyrics. Only existing for a brief moment in time (playing a handful of mainly local gigs and releasing one demo tape and the occasional track on compilation tapes) and obscure even during their existence, Asylum were nonetheless influential, their ‘1,000 M.P.H. Hardcore Punk’ inspiring other U.K. groups such as Skum Dribblurzzzz and Napalm Death. (Nic Bullen) This release contains the 6 Track demo Is This The Price? Which was originally released as a tape only EP on Retaliation Records. The tracks have been remastered and mark the first time Asylum have released anything on vinyl. (Sealed Records)

  • Julian Isaacs aka Auntie Pus, made a bet with his childhood friend Chris Millar (Rat Scabies of The Damned) that one of them would have a top ten record within 3 years. He of course lost that bet in less than a year as The Damned took the world by storm. Isaacs carried on with his own brand of punk and Syd Barrett inspired songs, playing with the best of the first wave of UK punk bands, and becoming frequent tour partners of bands like The Damned and The Ruts. In 1978 he finally recorded a single, featuring Rat Scabies on drums, which was eventually released with some help from the Ruts management, and did make not just into the weekly top 10 in Sounds, but "Single of the Week", and in a top 10 in Record Mirror when the Damned were pulling the reigns that week. Since then, the single has become a staple of conversations covering under the radar 70s UK DIY punk and "messthetics" type singles. This 7" is a deluxe edition with an unreleased track, artwork faithful to the original, with an accompanying insert that includes an in depth interview which should be fascinating to any fan of 70s UK punk, or fans of the Damned, photos, and more. This record was written and recorded DIY in 2020. While the world fell apart around us. While the so called "world leaders" actively worked to violently put down popular dissent against their bigoted systems of imperialist control. While neighbors turned on each other and purposely breathed plague in their fellow humans' faces out of a misguided sense of rebellion. While the bosses forced us all back to work and the government shamed us for any social contact that didn't keep the gears of capitalist modernity turning. While millions suffered and died. Axegrinder’s influential Crust Thrash Metal release from 1988 available on vinyl with its original artwork. Rise of the Serpent Men was recorded at Lion Studios in Leeds in 1988 and released the same year. Axegrinder’s strong AMEBIX-like grind sensibility appealed to Punks and Metal-Heads alike, and the band's first and only album Rise of the Serpent Men featured artwork contributions created by Jeff Walker (of UK Metal masters Carcass). The band has gained a strong cult following in countries such as Japan over the years and has lately seen a new period of activity, with a studio album in the offing, along with plans for extensive live work. This 2017 vinyl edition of ‘Rise of the Serpent Men’ marks 30 years of Peaceville and is released as part of the early classics selection to commemorate the occasion. (Peaceville Records)

BLITZ | killing dream | LP

    18.50 incl. tax
3'rd BLITZ album released after the reunion in 1990 now available as re-isssue on vinyl via Papagájuv Hlasatel Records from Czech Republic. 13 songs, including 2 instrumentals. Only Nidge Miller (Guitar) remained from the original line-up and recorded all guitar, bass and drum parts for this album. Gary Bassnet from ATTACK took over vocal duties and they punched out 13 solid tracks somewhere between the original Streetpunk and Post-punk BLITZ. Far more powerful production than "Second Empire Justice". "This is nothing like the old Blitz, because its a record entirely played by the only original Blitz member, guitarist Nidge on bass and guitar, Gary Bassnet from Attak on vocals. The result is an interesting post-punk sounding album, more relaxed and everything but OI ! sounding, with characteristic Nidge guitar playing plus a second guitar of basic but excellent riffling and soloing. "Well, Mackie wasn't interested, and Carl was living in Australia at the time, but Link offered me th opprtunity to do another Blitz album, and I wanted to do it. The song "Killing Dream" was actually written in 1983 and intended as a Blitz song anyway; it would've been the follow-up to "New Age" if things had been different. But it was an odding time, there was very little going on in the punk scene, and of course, we didn't have a drummer,se we had to use this horrible drum machine, which was the main drawback. But the album did pretty well for Link here, and it came out in America through Cleopatra." Nidge died in 2007, aged 48, shortly after a reunion tour. Originally released in 1989 on Link Records." (Papagájův Hlasatel Records)
  • Formed in the town of New Mills, Derbyshire in 1980, Oi legends Blitz revitalised the UK punk scene of the era, their incendiary debut Voice Of A Generation a massive commercial success, but the 1983 follow-up Time Empire Justice had a different line-up and new wave orientation, pointing to fissures in the group; then, in 1990, guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Nidge Miller teamed up with former Attack frontman Gary Basnett for The Killing Dream, a studio swansong that revived the name with Nidge fully in control. Devotees will love the sterling guitar work on this final piece of the Blitz jigsaw. Label: Radiation Records Barcode: 8055515233155
  • Blitz were among the most influential punk bands ever. It was Gary Bushell (who wrote for Sounds and was later dubbed the 'Godfather of Oi!') who brought the band to the attention of his friend Chris Berry, who had just set up No Future records with a bank loan and high hopes. No Future 001 (and Blitz's debut release) was a 4-track EP titled 'All Out Attack', a 20,000-copy bestseller that made the label's fortune, later to become the most representative of the whole UK82 movement. Its follow-up, 'Never Surrender', reached number 2 on the Indie charts, while their 3rd EP, 'Warriors', showed their slight move towards the sing-a-long style of classic Oi! Recorded live at the legendary Lyceum in London in April of 1982, just after the release of their second 7" (with a few tracks from the Skunx club in Islington recorded a few weeks later) this is the band at their absolute live peak. Crucial UK OI! recorded live, the way the genre was meant to be heard, with a beer in one hand and the other with a fist in the air. Blazing and brutal and classic UK82.

  • Released a year after their much hearled debut album 'Voice of a Generation' , 'Second Empire Justice' features half the members from the original line-up and with a new sound. While initially being an Oi!/Skinhead Punk band, on 'Second Empire Justice' they not only changed members and their look but also their sound and released a Post-Punk classic with a heavy dose of Joy Division worship, produced by Chris Nagle. While Nagle had also produced their debut album, he had also engineered the Joy Division and New Order albums under Martin Hannett and had also engineered various other post punk albums of the day from the likes of The Durutti Column, A Certain Ratio and Magazine. Together the band and Nagle created a masterpiece while not appreciated at the time, especially by their original skinhead/Oi! fanbase. The album would go onto influence tons of post-punk/darkwave bands that sprouted from the ashes of punk/hardcore bands decades later and become one of the most sought after albums of the golden age of post-punk.. So sit back and listen to these beautiful moody haunting guitars, dancing basslines and emotionally fragile vocals all the while retaining a punk ferocity. For Fans of : Joy Division, Magazine, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, Killing Joke, The Middle Class Limited repress on Puke n Vomit Records, comes with a huge poster of the cover art. • Raw, violent and catchy, Blitz's 1982 debut album sounded like a shot of pure rock and roll through the violence of the English working class. Made up by two punks and two skinheads, with a lot to say about violence and football, Blitz appealed to all kinds of lowlifes, who finally had a voice for their generation. Total classic. Liam and Mark from Booze & Glory are fanatical about Jamaican music. The idea of turning some Booze & Glory songs into ska or reggae tunes came a long time ago for this songwriting duo, but they simply never had the time. These "Jamaican" versions of "London Skinhead Crew," "Only Fools Get Caught," and "Leave The Kids Alone" are just the start - they were as much fun to record as they are going to be for all of us to dance to for years to come. Deluxe edition includes a slipcase. Track Listing: 1. London Skinhead Crew (stereo) 2. London Skinhead Crew (mono) 3. Only Fools Get Caught (stereo) 4. Only Fools Get Caught (mono) 5. Liam and Mark from Booze & Glory are fanatical about Jamaican music. The idea of turning some Booze & Glory songs into ska or reggae tunes came a long time ago for this songwriting duo, but they simply never had the time. After the raging success of volume one, it seemed inevitable that there would be a follow up reggae sessions album coming out of this European punk rock powerhouse. While the first volume took a bunch of their early classics and spun them on their head, this one flips some of their more recent hits into sure-fire reggae classics! (Pirate Press Records)

Absolutely raw and raging demo tape pressed to vinyl that was recorded in 1988. The story behind this is that it was recorded in 1988 shortly after the release of their "F.O.A.D." album. The demo features six tracks, two of which are Discharge covers ("State Control" and "The More I See"). The demo was initially put online by the band in 2014, and this pressing was done by Vile Records, which is a label run by Rat from the Varukers. The layout here is not the best with the artwork and look, but the tracks here are well worth the price of admission. A great archival release that proves there is still stuff to be dug up that is just waiting for someone to come along and discover it. Label: Vile Records

At last!! This beast of EP is finally available on vinyl!!! More than a year after LA PARCA TE BUSCA, the label run by BRUX's guitar player Ivan, put out a 50 copies run of the tape version (although with different art, title and song order) we can finally rejoice and enjoy this piece of hot wax. BRUX carries on their trademark Punk/OI!/Rock'n'Roll of catchy-as-fuck tunes filled with simple and basic yet fruitful riffs and memorable sing-a-longs but they've manage to incorporate a deep dark moody touch to their music, flirting with Post-Punk and Death Rock elements, specially with Ivan's guitar work and the bass sound, but without loosing a bit of their aggressive force. Juanma's vocals sound like a pissed off dog with rabies chained inside a cave, far from emotive or mellow, and keeps a perfect balance with the melodies of the guitar leads, the rythm section is unstoppable, with pounding bass-lines and Adri killing it on drums, punishing the hi-hat and making us all dance like maniacs to this 4 enormous tracks. BRUX hits hard and these 4 tracks are just a proof of that. (Mendeku Diskak)
  • Ninth installment already of our Vintage Series, this time dedicated to The Business. We turn our attention to the first formation of the band, including all their studio recordings conducted during 1980 and 1981. The Business were formed during this period by the ubiquitous Micky Fitz on vocals, Steve Kent on guitar, Martin Smith on bass and Nick Cunningham on drums; the most surprising aspect of this period is the contrast between the usual street-punk sound of some songs as "Suburban Rebels", "No Emotions" or "Richard Lewis" and the much more pop-oriented tunes like the magnificent "Out in the Cold" or "Streets Where you Live" that fall closer to the sound of mod revival bands than other punkoi! bands of the time. On A side you will find the 7 tracks that were officially published (on singles and compilation LPs) while the flip side features the band´s demo recordings. This release features an inner sleeve with information about all the recording sessions compiled on this album and also previously unseen graphic material. TRACKLIST A1 - Out In The Cold A2 - Streets Where You Live A3 - Harry May A4 - National Insurance Blacklist A5 - Suburban Rebels A6 - Product A7 - Step Into Christmas B1 - Strangers (Demo) B2 - Unevenly Pretty (Demo) B3 - Out In The Cold (Demo) B4 - 19 (Demo) B5 - No Emotions (Demo) B6 - Dayo (Demo) B7 - Richard Lewis (Demo) (Daily Records)
  • Formed in south London in 1979, punk band The Business became associated with the Oi! movement in the early 1980s, making clear that they were against the extremism sometimes associated with it by staging Oi Against Racism events. Keep The Faith was the comeback album from 1994 that followed a long hiatus, songs like the censorious ‘Maradona’ and the title track showing they’d lost none of their propulsive hardcore power, while the controversial ‘Holiday In Seattle’ referenced the demise of Kurt Cobain. Another great Business disc for the hardcore and Oi! fanatics. (Radiation Records)
