The venerated debut album by Dutch doom/death combo Asphyx, “The Rack” was released in 1991 to widespread acclaim. Following a slew of demos, this was bassist/vocalist Martin van Drunen’s first recorded project since quitting Pestilence after the “Consuming Impulse” record. This record wears all their influences proudly on their sleeves and remains a cult favorite to this day. Now remixed and remastered, this special version contains 11 bonus tracks, recorded live in Holland during the band’s 1991 tour for “The Rack”.
Comes in a standard jewel case with transparent tray, includes a 12 panel poster insert with printed lyrics and credits.
