  • THIS IS A PRE-ORDER! YOUR RECORD WILL SHIP ON/OR AROUND LATE JULY, THANKS! What Revolution? was originally recorded at Southern Studios for the album If They Treat You Like Shit - Act Like Manure on Corpus Christi but for some unknown reason it was dropped at the last minute for a live track. We asked the band about this and not one member could remember why but all admitted it was a massive mistake as What Revolution? Is classic Alternative. Impassioned and raging anarcho punk with duel female and male vocals. On the flip is two radically different mixes from the album of Another Subversive Peace Song and Love and life which have the guitar tones clean and give both tracks a fresher sound. The 7” comes housed in a Crass style Sleeve. Label: Sealed Records

A reissue of the third single on All the Madmen Records from 1980. The single was recorded at Spaceward Studios in Cambridge where The Mob, Swell Maps and Stiff little Fingers all recorded. Andy Stratton was a sixteen year old punk from Somerset who hung out with The Mob and the Yeovil punks. The drummer on this single was Graham Fallows who was still a member of The Mob at the time these two songs were recorded. Andy had never played a gig under his name but decided to go into a studio and record these two gems. I Don’t Know is a glorious punk pop nugget that has style and sass. Think a mix of the Buzzcocks’ Pete Shelley vocally Pete Fender’s only 7” Four Formulas (For The Eradication Of Microbes) and the early Good Vibrations records releases. The flip Evil Minds is a more laidback and bleak track that leans heavily on the influence of the Mob. After this 7” Andy went on to form the greatly under appreciated Null and Void. Comes with insert featuring an interview and a few pictures. Label: Sealed Records

Voltage records delivers another great re-edition of Nordic noise. The unjustly neglected band that brought this great six-song single to the world, If you're a fan of Kaaos, Riistetyt, Mellaka or Svart Framtid, you'll be thrilled. As is customary at Voltage, we do our re-issues with the utmost fidelity to the original, and here we've thought of everything, from the engraved lyrics on the record, the weight of the paper, or even such madness as the custom-made adhesive wings that bind the cover to make everything look like it's '85. There's also a limited edition version available on clear vinyl in special packaging. The re-issue was released with the band's permission. (High Voltage Records)
  • ARMS RACE follow up to their “New Wave Of British Hardcore” LP with four new tracks, which sees the band solidify their place as one of the strongest pillars of UK hardcore. Touring Europe and Japan since the release of the LP, these 4 new tracks are yet more proof of why the band leaves a trail of fans whenever they play. “The Beast” displays a ferocious hardcore attack with both boots firmly stuck on the hardcore and punk territories while looking forward to new soundscapes on which they evolve, such as on track 'Distort Britannia' that showcases a slowed down atmospheric stomper. Part classic USA Hardcore, part Bristol and Stoke On Trent punk, these new tracks are a perfect continuation of what the band has created during these last 5 years. The Beast comes housed in a pocket sleeve with artwork by bass player and LVEUM shitworker Nicky Rat and includes a lyric insert and download code. Label: La Vida Es Un Mus Records

Formed by Edwin Pouncey in the Spring of 1977 “because there was a talent night at the Royal College Of Art”, their first gig ended (like so many of their other gigs) in a fight, to disguise their lack of material. Someone there offered them a gig for money so a set of 10 songs was quickly cobbled together. More gigs followed. Ricky Slaughter left to join The Motors, Robert Gotobed went to Wire and the line-up stabilised to include the nucleus of Edwin Pouncey, Steve Spear and Marion Fudger. A hippie guy and his stripper girlfriend who ran a record shop in the basement of Kensington Market decided to start a label and approached the Art Attacks. They released the 7,500 selling “I Am A Dalek” b/w “Neutron Bomb” single, but the relationship terminated when the stripper appeared on stage semi-naked and decided to whip an unamused Edwin. Their next foray into the studio was to record the classic “Arabs In ‘Arrads” for the first ever punk rock compilation album, “Streets” on Beggars Banquet. Suffering from stage fright, Edwin would only appear on-stage when inebriated. Each performance was unpredictable. Aside from the frequent fights, there was one occasion when Edwin climbed inside the kick drum and refused to perform, and once when he invited a tramp to ramble meaninglessly into the microphone, rather than sing himself. Tours with The Lurkers, Generation X, The Motors and Rock Against Racism followed, as did two live tracks “Animal Bondage” and “Frankenstein’s Heartbeat” on the “Live At The Vortex” album. The pressures of finishing their degrees terminated the band and the posthumous “Punk Rock Stars” b/w “Rat City” single was released. On 16th January 1979 the Art Attacks released their second and sadly posthumous single ‘First and Last’ on Fresh Records. The A side was “Punk Rock Stars” and featured the drumming of Robert Gotobed from Wire. The B side was “Rat City“. The A side was recorded in 1978 before they split in March of that year, while the B side was recorded in 1977. The artwork was designed by Edwin Pouncey aka Savage Pencil, lead singer of the band. After they split Edwin Pouncey, Marion Fudger and Steve Spear would form The Tagmemics who released one single ‘Chimneys’ on the Index label in 1980. Unquestionably a punk rock classic, the single is now highly collectable, has featured on many official and unofficial punk rock compilations and has been long overdue an official reissue so in 2022, in conjunction with the band, Overground Records have released a limited reissue of 500 copies on silver vinyl which losely reproduces the original sleeve and label artwork. Formed in 1981 by a crew of hardcore punx and skins from Stoke-on-Trent in the industrial Midlands of England, Asylum fully embraced the ‘Noise Not Music’ rallying call. The missing link between Discharge and Japanese Noisecore, their sound is characterised by detuned ear-piercing distortion: buzzsaw guitars, fuzzed bass, charging drums and gargled vocals battle each other in a maelstrom of lo-fi production murk that reflects the bleak outlook of their lyrics. Only existing for a brief moment in time (playing a handful of mainly local gigs and releasing one demo tape and the occasional track on compilation tapes) and obscure even during their existence, Asylum were nonetheless influential, their ‘1,000 M.P.H. Hardcore Punk’ inspiring other U.K. groups such as Skum Dribblurzzzz and Napalm Death. (Nic Bullen) This release contains the 6 Track demo Is This The Price? Which was originally released as a tape only EP on Retaliation Records. The tracks have been remastered and mark the first time Asylum have released anything on vinyl. (Sealed Records)

  • Julian Isaacs aka Auntie Pus, made a bet with his childhood friend Chris Millar (Rat Scabies of The Damned) that one of them would have a top ten record within 3 years. He of course lost that bet in less than a year as The Damned took the world by storm. Isaacs carried on with his own brand of punk and Syd Barrett inspired songs, playing with the best of the first wave of UK punk bands, and becoming frequent tour partners of bands like The Damned and The Ruts. In 1978 he finally recorded a single, featuring Rat Scabies on drums, which was eventually released with some help from the Ruts management, and did make not just into the weekly top 10 in Sounds, but "Single of the Week", and in a top 10 in Record Mirror when the Damned were pulling the reigns that week. Since then, the single has become a staple of conversations covering under the radar 70s UK DIY punk and "messthetics" type singles. This 7" is a deluxe edition with an unreleased track, artwork faithful to the original, with an accompanying insert that includes an in depth interview which should be fascinating to any fan of 70s UK punk, or fans of the Damned, photos, and more. • It takes BALTA seven minutes to annihilate Rendszerszint? Agybasz?ás (Systematic Brainfucking), the debut EP by these feral Hungarians. Their approach to music is beyond urgent and their delivery equally drastic. BALTA’s sound is vicious, pounding and hectic. With one of the nastiest guitar tones to grace these ears in recent memory, and a drumming style that may collapse at any giving moment. Drawing parallels with PIÑEN, ULSTER, the first TRANQUILIZER Flexi, PLASMID or IMAGEN is fair, giving the total disregard for melody or time the band displays. But it is their anti-authoritarian lyrics and uber punk attitude that sets them on their own path; Searching for a primitive future amongst the concrete ruins. Label: La Vida Es Un Mus
  • Who would’ve thought? A new BANNLYST release in 2023! Two and a quarter unheard songs from 1985, the lost final songs of the band. Recorded before members moved away from Molde and one by one ended up in Oslo and started other great bands. The tape with these recordings was found when a band member moved house some years ago, and now finally put out on vinyl. Totally classic Norwegian Hardcore Punk. Released in cooperation with Cease Fire!, the label that brought you the crazy awesome MOLDE PUNX 2xLP reissue. The songs here are: Bare En Slave (1985), Mørk Tid (1985), Hvit Natt Intro Outro (1985), Terrorstyre (1985), 40000 Døde Barn (live, 1992). The EP comes with a big fold-out lyric sheet, international copies have English lyric translations. Just like La Dem Ikke Lure Deg in 1985. (Norwegian Leather Records)

  • That΄s right, the sought after Ready To Rot EP is finally seeing the light of the day with the original artwork and additional foldout insert with band΄s history, photos, lyrics and flyers. This is their only record, originally released in 1982 on Illuminated records and now reissued on No Plan. (No Plane Records)
  • The second Black Randy single and a classic just like the debut. Black Randy was a talented lyricist whose work brims with irony and thumbs its nose at everything, even the L.A. proto-punk culture that spawned them. Black Randy & the Metrosquad were perhaps the wittiest band on the L.A. punk scene in the late '70s. Their sardonic humor and musicality still holds up well decades later, and is light years away from the regimented sameness of approach that afflicted L.A.-based punk bands that formed shortly after their demise. Originally released in 1978 on Dangerhouse Records, this single is a bonafide Los Angeles punk rock classic. This 4 song EP comes on black vinyl and is a faithful repro of the original pressing. Limited edition. (Dangerhouuse Records/Unofficial Release)
