From being right in the middle at the birth of US hardcore punk with DYS to creating the blueprint of melodic hardcore with DAG NASTY, from helping to invent pop punk as we know it with ALL to finding himself in the middle of the west coast punk explosion of the 90s with DOWN BY LAW: Smalley was always on the forefront every time hardcore punk pushed its envelope. While others may use a legacy like that as an excuse to take it a little slower, Dave Smalley has no intention to rest on his laurels and keeps writing new music and releasing records. When he founded DON'T SLEEP with fellow East Coast punk rockers Garrett Rothman, Tony Bavaria, Jim Bedorf and Tom McGrath in 2017, the world was more than excited about seeing him front a fast yet melodic hardcore band again. Being motivated by immensely positive feedback, DON'T SLEEP was finally ready to release its debut album "Turn the Tide" in 2020. And then the world came to a grinding halt. But after the dust settled, all five members decided that DON'T SLEEP was too important to not overcome all obstacles thrown in their way. The five piece went back into the rehearsal room, finished 8 original songs and added an amazing TOM PETTY cover to the mix. The result is DON'T SLEEP's second full length "See Change". Pacific Blue Vinyl, limited to 200 copies. Label: End Hits Records Barcode: 4059251571421

Available for the first time since 1994. Some of the best material from both bands extensive catalogue. This time on a 12' format. DOOM was a band which were pivotal in the rise of crust punk and originated from Birmingham. Doom continued with different guitarist, most notably with Dave Talbot who co-founded UK doom metal band SOLSTICE with SORE THROAT’s vocalist Rich Walker, but did not settle with four members for long playing numerous gigs as a three piece,as Pickering turned to vocal and guitar duties. This line up continued until a final split in August 1990. Following the group’s demise Pickering formed Police Bastard, whilst drummer Stick joined ENT then DIRT. This records still sound heavy, fuzzy, dirty and mean as hell!! (Sonarize Records)

Out of stockThis record originally released under the title “Fuck Peaceville" is the re-recording of their infamous “Total doom" lp, done after Peaceville decided to veer away from it's DIY roots. The recording is the culmination of members desire to get a better sound on some of the earlier recordings. Fully repackaged in all it's gatefold glory. Doom is an English crust punk band from Birmingham, England, formed in 1987. Despite its short existence (though Doom is active on the live scene as of late), the band is considered pivotal in the rise of crust punk movement. They recorded for Peaceville Records and are cited as an early precursor to the grindcore style of heavy metal music, & are often compared with seminal act Discharge. Doom were also a favorite of BBC Radio DJ John Peel. In its formative years, Peaceville had heard about Doom through word of mouth and asked if they were interested in contributing songs to the first compilation, "A Vile Peace". Doom went into the studio to record their first demo on 28 August 1987. Three songs were recorded, two of which appeared on "A Vile Peace". On the strength of this first recording Peaceville asked Doom if they would record a full LP for them, which they agreed to do. In Feburary 1988, Doom went into the "Rich Bitch" studios and recorded 21 songs for the album, "War Crimes". "Total Doom" was the band's second album, originally released in 1989, & was a collection of the "Police Bastard" EP, "War Crimes" LP, plus the "Bury the Debt - not the Dead" split release tracks. Out of stockIndustrial Records - the label of Throbbing Gristle first released this pop gem in October 1980 and it was possibly the straightest yet weirdest release the label ever did. Dorothy was described as a 19 year old with no prior releases, but was actually Max the drummer from Rema Rema with help in the song writing department from Alex Ferguson from Alternative TV and Genesis P-Orridge. I Confess is a perfect super cute pop ditty with lyrics that sound like a catholic confession. The flipside Softness is a DIY Disco dancefloor nugget with Dorothy's silky smooth vocals.
