It's with great pleasure that we announce the Swedish raw punk legends ANTI CIMEX have finally reached the joyful lands of Agipunk. On this record we're collecting in chronological order all the demos and the studio recording sessions that haven't been released on any official release so far. A total of 29 tracks that originally appeared on "K.A.A.S January 1982", "K.A.A.S April 1982", "En Produkt Av Dagens Skitsamhälle" tapes plus the studio session right before the "Raped Ass" 7" EP and the discarded recordings for the full length that never saw the light and eventually became the "Victims Of A Bomb Raid" 7" EP. All you Cimex maniacs out there probably already know most of the songs, but you'll definitely find a bunch of extremely obscure tracks which I bet you've never heard before. Brainbombs is a Swedish noise rock band formed 1985 in Hudiksvall. They are notable for their very repetitive, noisy, untuned, raucous sound. Their lyrical themes and concept have been very controversial, as some of the songs depict acts of rape, torture, and murder, similar to the writings of author Peter Sotos, who has been named as an influence for the group. Other artists named as influences for the band include Chrome, James Chance, and Whitehouse, and the group's name comes from a Punishment of Luxury song. (Skrammel Records)

Diakron is a band that grew out of a recording made by Andreas (ex-Counterblast, Hexgrafv), Palle and Jocke, also the former members of Counterblast and active in Sanctum and Pale. The idea was from the beginning to record some song ideas left after Counterblast closed in 2017. Once started, the song list was filled with new compositions and now, there are eleven of them. In the years, Disfear became one of the only real survivors of the Dis-scene, and even though many line-up changes plagued the band, they kept on going until they left Osmose Records in 1998 - at which point they had incorporated ex-At the Gates vocalist Tomas Lindberg in the band. Instead of calling it quits, the band had five years to work on new material, and Relapse made them an offer they couldn't refuse, resulting in "Misanthropic Generation". Swedish hardcore in its purest form, "Misanthropic Generation" is a maturation, modernization and perfection of Discharge's music from back in the '80s. With a blazing pace, Entombed-ish guitar/bass riffing meeting the banshee vocalism of Tomas, supported by wickedly groovy Motorhead-style drumming - masturbation for the mind, one might call it. 25 year anniversary edition! Originally released in 1995 via Distortion Records, now re-released via La Familia Releases! Forming around 1989, Disfear took elements from both crust and death metal scenes to effectively reinvent the Swedish sound. It is from Disfear's influence that we have seen the likes of Martyrdod, Warcollapse, Wolfpack (now Wolfbrigade), and countless others. Disfear simply took the things that made the Swedish death metal scene so effective such as ferocious/anxious vocals and pummeling drums and put them into the arena of d-beat punk. The result added new dimensions to the genre's sound. Arriving on the scene in Sweden, the band would tour with much of Sweden's metal royalty such as Entombed and Dismember. This happened in part because the band did not have many sonic contemporaries in Sweden at the time. Another innovation made by Disfear was the shift from political commentary on war to the fatalistic and psychological impacts war makes. Again, the band's lyrics also showed influence from the realm of death metal. Gone were the cries for peace and protest against government warmongers and replaced by the resignation that the war was lost. The band's debut LP "Soul Scars" spells this out perfectly. Themes of psychological trauma and irrevocably broken lives from war replaced the politically charged battle cries that Discharge once made. Label: La Familia Releases

FOAD's legacy with Swedish Hardcore/Punk pioneering bands goes on! After unearthing the early recordings of the speed Hardcore maniacs ASOCIAL, it's time for another classic act from the same "family".. DISTRUST! Brief history: Distrust came together in the summer of 1983 when the 2 brothers Kenneth & Tommy (from B.T.D.) joined Håkan & Peter L (before in Why War?). Håkan had just started singing in Asocial (later on drums) and Tompa (Asocial) lived next door to Kenneth and Tommy so it was natural those two bands did a lot of things together. After that Distrust dissolved in the end of -84 or early -85 Kenneth joining Asocial on bass (later on guitar). The band existed between 1981 and 1984 and was formed by the brothers Mats and Torulf Nilsson. After the demise of Sundsvall's most famous (and orthodox) punk band Massmedia in 1980, the two brothers moved to Linköping to study, and they were eager to play again. It was originally planned as a solo project by Mats, but it resulted in Huvudtvätt (HT). With new influences from the US hardcore scene and England’s Discharge, they took a step towards a tougher punk style. HT was focused on the Swedish market. All the song titles had a cleaning theme, and the ambiguous lyrics were humorous but serious at the same time. The band also appeared on the international market as Headcleaners, whose name came from a cleaning cassette. The music was shared with HT, but the social critical English texts were written primarily by Janne, at the Uppsala label Malign Massacre. Through him the band also contacted and got a record deal with the English label Xcentric Noise Records and Tapes. With the help of this label and other contacts, highly valued discs and tapes were spread with great success all over the world. Huvudtvätt had during their four years four different singers: Huw, Hasse, Janne and last but not least Lasse P. Patrik of Massmedia took care of the drums, except on the last album when the band borrowed from Kurt I Kuvös. On stage Huvudtvätt only performed once during their career. "Krigshoder is a new band featuring Daniel from the Norwegian band Negativ on vocals (he also operates the label Byllepest Distro, which is worth keeping a close eye on) backed up by musicians from the Suck Blood label camp, on whom we’ve heaped tons of praise in recent memory. The internet went into a tizzy when this first hit Bandcamp, and while it took us a while to get the physical copies in (Jeff even chose it as his staff pick way back in August), its power has not abated with a few months’ passage. This is some of the most tightly wound hardcore punk I’ve heard in a while. There’s no point during this demo where Krigshoder settles into a groove; they’re constantly lunging forward then taking a fraction of a second to recoil before snapping right back at you. It’s intricate, powerful, ripping fast, and sounds unhinged while remaining memorably musical. I don’t know what else to say about this one… it’s some of the best hardcore I’ve heard in a while.
