Oakland punk legends Annihilation Time play furious hardcore that builds its sound on the foundation laid down from 1980's California bands like Black Flag, Aggression, and Bl'ast. Formed in 2001 by guitarist Graham Clise, vocalist Fred Hammer, drummer Jamie Sanitate and bassist Chris Grande, Annihilation Time released its debut LP in 2002 and then proceeded to shake up the scene with its rampaging live show, honed by multiple tours of the U.S. and Europe. The band's second release, II, originally released in 2005, stands as an American power punk rock classic, blending together the riffs of Thin Lizzy and Motorhead with the snarl of Spazz and Siege. The sound Annihilation Time created - snotty psychedelic hardcore punk fueled by booze, Vans Old Skools, and lots of drugs - was christened by the band themselves as "creep rock." This LP has it all: chugging fat skate punk riffage, raunchy rock, ear-shredding mid sections overflowing with scorching garage/stoner thrash and a very surreal and psychedelic vibe that's hard to explain. It's with great pleasure that we announce the Swedish raw punk legends ANTI CIMEX have finally reached the joyful lands of Agipunk. On this record we're collecting in chronological order all the demos and the studio recording sessions that haven't been released on any official release so far. A total of 29 tracks that originally appeared on "K.A.A.S January 1982", "K.A.A.S April 1982", "En Produkt Av Dagens Skitsamhälle" tapes plus the studio session right before the "Raped Ass" 7" EP and the discarded recordings for the full length that never saw the light and eventually became the "Victims Of A Bomb Raid" 7" EP. All you Cimex maniacs out there probably already know most of the songs, but you'll definitely find a bunch of extremely obscure tracks which I bet you've never heard before. Recorded in Hollywood in a mere three days at the end of 1982 - oddly enough aided by the presence of Joe Strummer who was in the studio the first day of recording- 'Defy The System' is California punk group Anti's second album, considered by most to be at least as astonishing as their debut. Partly played by John Carthy from Alley Cats on drums, and originally released on the New Underground label, this was the second and last chapter in Anti's history, right before singer Danny Dean went on to form his later band Easter with Social Distortion's Mike Ness on guitar. This is pure early '80s California punk rock in the vein of Bad Religion or T.S.O.L. An absolute masterpiece now represented on vinyl, with original artwork and insert, for the first time in 35 years. Label: Radiation Records

Part of the late '70s/early '80s HC/punk explosion out of the Los Angeles area, where bands like Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Minutemen, and Bad Religion originated from, Anti formed in 1979 by a then teenage Danny Phillips, better known as Danny Dean, who was the bassist/guitarist and first original vocalist, primary songwriter, and sole continuous member throughout multiple lineup changes during the past 40 years. Their 1982 debut album, 'I Don't Want To Die In Your War', was recorded and mixed by legendary producer and sound engineer for Black Flag and Descendents, Spot. It is a major example of California hardcore from the early '80s. Despite having been completely underrated, Anti's 1982 debut paved the way for a lot of California punk to come. Before going on their Spanish mini-tour with the Dutch hard-core band BGK in November 1984, Anti/Dogmatikss made a first stop at the Marathon Studios in Barcelona, recording 11 songs that would turn into their first self-published cassette to be sold on that same tour. The demo was titled “Rompan filas!!!” (Break Ranks!!!). Musically, the recording shows the evolution of the band towards a more hard-core sound, accelerated and furious, closer to the style of the Italians Wretched.
