Guitarist Micke went on to play in Skitsystem. This band has a distinct style within the strong tradition of Swedish hardcore. The riffs are raw and powerful, with haunting melody over a storm of raw sonic shrapnel. Two guitars trade off sledgehammer riffs and driving melodic leads. Our first release with new singer Arnold De Boer and the first 7" release on Ex Records in 20 years. The title "Our Leaky Homes" comes from the title of a chapter of a book called "HEAT (How To Stop The Planet From Burning)" by English journalist George Monbiot. The main riff of "Maybe I Was The Pilot" is adapted from a song called "Elosi Aberu Akipore Imaniti Abiro" by Ugandan singer and adedeu (harp) player Iganitiyo Ekacholi. It appears on the CD "Secular Music from Uganda" (SWP Records 024), part of a series of re-releases of Hugh Tracey's recordings from Eastern and Southern Africa from the early 50s. Label: EX Records

Comprised of six tracks blasted out in ten minutes, the garage-based endeavour is shockingly debaucherous and unkempt. Essentially comprised of former Cursed vocalist Chris Colohan and Hamilton doom-y hardcore outfit Vatican Chainsaw Massacre, this sinister collaboration spawns a dirtier punk'n'roll-based hardcore outfit than one would anticipate. Their drive elicits comparisons to Disfear, Holland's the Spades, back in their Learnin' The Hard Way era, and of course, Colohan's deep-rooted adoration for Winnipeg, MB's dearly departed Kittens, offering an element of downbeat-heavy tracks bathed in primal angst. "Let's go back to rough & dirty punkrock from the UK and a band that didn't make an official album, but four fantastic 7inches. Originally formed as a five-piece band from Wigan in 1979, Barry (vocals), "Psycho" (guitars), Dean (bass), "Bambi" (drums) and Tina (2nd guitar), there were two bands called "The Insane" for a while when the original band split. They were very young at the start, with some of the group having only just left school. The band were rank amateurs, with Tina utilising the one-finger down the neck method made infamous by Crass. The band gigged for a year or so before making their vinyl debut with a track called 'Nuclear War', which appeared on the 1981 compilation Ten From The Madhouse. Read further infos on punkygibbon. The band actually saw fourteen different line-ups in their career and also recorded for Riot City Records.
